Amazing first time experience here! The food was great; got the grilled pork and chicken bao buns and oxtail phô. First of all, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was really calm and pleasant. Service was great; it’s a small business so they try their best to get to you as quickly as possible; be patient please. Loved the flavors of everything we got and will definitely be back!

The food at this restaurant is exceptional. We ordered the grilled pork, rice, and noodles, but at the owner's recommendation, we tried the beef stir-fry, which exceeded our expectations and turned out to be the highlight of our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant, not only for its outstanding food but also for the excellent service provided by the owner.

Was told at the end of our meal that the shaken beef was filet mignon quality. It’s funny because during our meal, I mentioned to my wife that I thought it was high-quality steak, better than some steak sold at high-end restaurants. The meat was extremely tender and flavorful. We highly recommend this establishment for lunch, dinner, or otherwise.

Delicious pho!!! We stopped here because of the reviews, and it was amazing. The pho broth is absolutely delicious, I recommend trying the broth before adding anything to it. I also recommend the bao, we had the chicken. It was marinated and perfectly cooked. The bun was just slightly sticky and had a hint of sweetness, but wasn’t overpowering. The chicken was the real star of the bao. We saved this place in our favorites and will definitely be coming back.

First time coming here with my family, we enjoyed it the person who helped us was so kind. He was very welcoming and very sweet. The food is so delicious and my whole family enjoyed the meals that they got. The bowls are very good proportions which we all loved and very affordable as well. I recommend anyone who has the chance to visit and try their food. We will be back again for sure.

Ive been coming here for a couple of years and i will say im never going back. I went yesterday and a roach fell from the ceiling onto my table. This was traumatizing to say the least. I tried to keep this discreet while other customers were in there and didnt make a scene. I moved tables and informed management who witnessed the roach too. They were apologetic however at the very least, you would think my meal or part of it would be comped. Instead i paid full price, credit card fee and over paid for my 6 year olds soup with noodles for one of the most disgusting dining experiences ive had. I will never return here.

Incredible Pho! Made with real ingredients that you can taste, we were looking for a close Vietnamese spot and happy we found this gem. Kind owner and family who provide a great atmosphere at a reasonable price.

I felt so welcome. He guided me through the menu so that I would order something that I liked. Made sure I tasted it before adding any sauces or spice to it make sure it was the way i would enjoy it. Friendly staff, clean, generous portions as well. I was able to enjoy a meal and relax after work, it was quiet and peaceful. great place to eat! Check it out!

I had to check out Pho Ninh Kieu after hearing stellar reviews from others. I finally went today and ordered the house special pho and pork vermicelli. It was AMAZING. This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve tried in New Jersey. I will definitely be back to try more dishes! The owner was very friendly as well :)

Both the bun (vermicelli noodles) and pho were delicious! I've eaten both at various restaurants, and they're in my personal top 3 in NY/NJ. The grilled beef rolls on the bun were wrapped in herbs such as lemongrass and some vegetables and had a good flavor. I entered the restaurant with low expectations due to its remote location, but both the server and the man who seemed to be the owner were smiling and kind and very nice. Both the beef pho and the vermicelli noodles were amazing. The beef rolls in vermicelli were so flavorful and paired well with the noodles. and friendly servers! We’ll come again :) Thank you.

Honestly best pho I have ever had, the broth was amazing, full of flavor, you tasted every individual spice. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the beef combo was phenomenal. GET THE VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE SO GOOD!!

A+ My go to place for Bun Bo Hue or Pho. I also love the beef salad that the only other place you can get it is Philly. The soup is flavorful and taste is on point. The salad has many herbs sourness and add some spice and it’s amazing. The owner is great and servers very friendly.

Great family spot. Best Vietnamese I’ve had in Jersey. Pho had great flavor and didn’t need anything more unlike many others which need pepper / soy. Three generations running the place with love so you know it’s legit. Worth the drive for those that aren’t as close.

Food here is always amazing. I love the vegetarian options they have here. I ordered the tofu banh mi and the avocado summer roll and they were both delicious. My boyfriend ordered the chicken banh mi which was also delicious and the pho which had the best broth ever.

Pho Ninh Kieu is a Vietnamese restaurant, tucked away alongside Sukhadia in a row of other businesses. They have shifted to an adjacent place and remodeled their restaurant in the new Avtar. The timing was a little odd for me (it closes at 8 PM) so we reached there by 730. It was Wednesday night and hardly 2-3 tables were occupied, we waited for the server to get the table but no one showed up, so we got settled ourselves. Again, waited for the server to bring the menu, but helped ourselves to pick from the adjacent table. Most Vietnamese food is harmonious, healthy, light to eat, colorful, and very diet-friendly- that’s what I heard. We ordered- * Grilled Chicken Summer - rolled in rice paper, I did not find it wow types - 2.5/5 * Shrimp Bao - soft bao with shrimp - it was good * Chicken Fried Rice: Best item on the table :D * Grilled Chicken Pho: Pho - it was just boiled noodles with veggies. Not even a suggestion by the server/owner that - hey eat it with this or mix some sauce. I was mixing sauces (kept at the table) to make it edible. Like what and how to mix so that we can eat that. I might sound ignorant but hey if I am new to your cuisine, help me out. * Shredded Chicken Rice Noodles Soup: same case with chicken soup as well. not sure it was supposed to be that way, but have it edible man. * Grilled Chicken Rice Vermicelli: Vermicelli- it's a cold dish, and again they have just mixed cold noodles with veggies and no sauces. it was left on us how and what to mix to make it edible. it was no fun. I might sound orthodox and controversial, but on the contrary, I did not like the food. and the best item was chicken fried rice. The grilled chicken they served- the same type of chicken in every dish, from appetizer to Pho to rice vermicelli. Service: it was on the slower side, with 2 folks (I guess a couple runs this restaurant), and from beginning to end, we had to wait for service. Ambiance: it's new and fancy, classic find dine-in feel. Price: reasonable.

Absolutely terrible service and mediocre food serving size. Went to this pho place with a group and got seated almost right away. After being seated, we had to wait for what felt like 30 minutes before someone even thought of giving us a menu or a glass of water. We were in view of the workers by the register area, yet we needed to flag someone down to get the menus in the first place and had to flag them down again to order our food. When ordering pho, you normally get a dish of bean sprouts, but our table never received it. I looked around at everyone else who ordered a bowl and saw that they got a dish of bean sprouts. Ordered a large pho and the portion felt like it was a small in an extra large bowl that was finished in two bites. One drink we ordered arrived late when we were almost finished eating our meal. When we flagged someone down to get our check, the serving lady gave us a confirmation and disappeared for about 10 minutes before coming back with our check. What is absolutely insane is that they charge you a 3% surplus charge if you pay with card. What was even more ridiculous about the service was that a man, who came in after us, was seated and handed a menu and a glass of water right away and got what look like great service and attention from the serving lady. Where was that when me and my group first arrived?!? Felt like we were being ignored and isolated from everyone else in the restaurant. Not even worth giving tips or even wanting to come back and eat here. Went during lunch time and the place was a little busy but that was not an excuse to completely ignore us and give us non existent service.

This place has the best pho in the area. The broth is so flavorful. I could eat it all day. They also have some other dishes the are pretty good.

I've been here several times. The staff is exceptionally friendly and nice here. They always go all the way to make sure that you are happy with your food. The food is delicious! A bowl of pho is a meal by itself. Of course we can never resist the bao buns. You won't be disappointed!

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the Livingston/Parsippany area! They have amazing pho broth, even compared to Vietnamese restaurants in Manhattan. Summer rolls are great - the peanut sauce is thick and flavorful.

Growing up in a Vietnamese family, pho was always a favorite. Now, it’s my children’s favorite meal too. My family has been enjoying the food at Pho Ninh Kieu for years. It’s always delicious with friendly staff. Their new location next to their old spot has a beautiful atmosphere and it much larger. I highly recommend eating here.

Vietnamese food, though gradually increasing in popularity and availability, is still relatively difficult to find in the wonderful sea of ethnic food around New Jersey. Even more difficult is finding one that is able to serve good, authentic food-this, however, solves that task. The owner is a lovely individual who deeply cares about what he serves and wants to ensure that his diners have a good experience. He even wants to serve more than what is on the menu, for more authentic, traditional cuisine-the mark of a good restaurant, kitchen, and owner. One can ask for things to be prepped more traditionally-the Bun Bo Hue, for example, can be prepared in the more traditional way if asked, with more spice, shrimp paste, and even huyet. Modifications for those who know what they want shows a dedication and love for ones craft, which is, of course, paramount to a good, authentic experience. Had the ca phe, banh mi thit nuong, bun bo hue, and my guest had the pho bo. Everything was wonderful, universally enjoyed, and returned with a clean dish. Excellent spot, not to be missed.

The best pho I've had. I had the oxtail pho and a banh mi. The broth is absolutely superb, with a clear but full flavor. The banh mi was delightful with fantastic contrasts.

It is far from fantastic or instagram-able, but true to basics and pretty solid. There was nothing I could complain about. Food (basic pho and summer roll) was very satisfactory, and service was prompt and attending. If I lived nearby, I'd become a regular. The only thing I found it a bit odd was that the restaurant sign in the front side facade was not lit in the evening, so it was a bit hard to find the store from the main road.

House combo 7.5/10 meat ok, noodles very good. Short rib pho 7/10, meat very good but very little ribs on the side . Lemongrass pork very good 8/10

Pho is my favorite food, and this is my favorite pho restaurant! I always get the P1 pho. We’re here at least twice a month and it never disappoints. Make sure to also try the bao buns (A12), and the taro shake is amazing as well!

Portions are small and missing tendon as if someone won't notice. $17 for a bowl of pho, make sure it's a full serving.

Food was amazing - brought my 7 year old brother and he absolutely loved It. There are several options for kids. My first time trying pho and loved It.

The spring rolls were the highlight Pork chop pho was pretty standard X Large combo pho was okay, a little light on meat and the broth could use some more spices. The accoutrements were a bit space for 2 phos

Hopeless place, charged me atrocious compulsory 18% tip which is voluntary at all places... Did not like the attitude of owner.. Service was terrible, no paper napkins, rice was complete cold along with chicken lemongrass and squid shrimp... Squid was stale and rubbary... Not at all recommended!!

Love this pho restaurant so much, best first impressions, although the table was dirty the server went immediately to clean it. Loved this place. We were there yesterday. The staff were so warm and friendly. The place was clean, with a nice ambience and good food. The Vietnamese coffee was my favorite(like a sweet mocha)! I also liked the pho combo and we had a sandwich that had the best sauce in it! Our whole bill came up to $37 for 2 people which in this economy was refreshing. We will definitely be back on a regular basis when in the area.

Great pho spot! The menu is extensive and got lots of options for everyone. We went as a group of 11 and they were super patient with us. If you do go as a large group, note that a charge will be added already to total for group service charges. Food was delicious and service was amazing, so would recommend!

I visited for the first time today and as someone who tried Pho at many different restaurants this is definitely one of my favorites if not THE favorite!! Absolutely delicious egg rolls also. Our server did forget a few things but was very nice. Will definitely be returning!

We've gone twice now, both on Saturday night. The first time it was not very crowded, the second time, every table was full. The service both times was excellent and above any expectations. Our orders were timely (under 10 min), beautifully presented and delicious. When we left, they were 10 minutes from their stated closing time, and were still welcoming guests. I couldn't ask for a better, more authentic Vietnamese meal or experience.

The pho was outstanding! Price point was perfect, humble ingredients, attentive service, great atmosphere. Tried the salty soda lemonade, owner explained the process of preserving the lemon for +3 months. You can taste the dedication from everything I ate! Highly recommend.

A smallish, cozy, and dim interior that's clean and comfortable. The food is great, staff is friendly but can be spread a bit thin if the place is busy. The food is great and prices seem to have resisted inflation pretty well. We have been going here for years and will continue to do so!

I was pretty bummed when Pho 57 in Hackettstown closed. So, I made it my mission to find some good Vietnamese cuisine (and living in the furthest corner of NWNJ makes this practically mission impossible). This place is mission accomplished and so worth the trip. If I lived closer, I'd be here every week. I had the Pho Bo Vien (Beef Meatball Pho) and Cha Gio (Chicken and Pork Fried Roll) for lunch. They know what they're doing and remain true to the traditional flavors. Needless to say, I'll be back as soon as I can.

I ordered the P2 Pho. This is served with thinly sliced raw eye round beef. The meat is very thin when it touches the aromatic broth it cooks and becomes super tender. Pretty happy overall, will be back.

Delicious, soul satisfying pho. I've been eating this dish for over two decades and have a favorite spot in Philly, but this pho is just as good, maybe better. The meat stayed tender throughout the meal and the broth was delicious. Also, this cozy restaurant has very friendly family service. I'll definitely be coming back.

My partner and I were visiting the area and were craving pho, one of our favorite dishes. We found this perfect hole-in-a-wall in a small shopping center right off of route 46. Both owners were there, and another server… All three of them took turns, making sure that we had everything we needed. The service was great, the food was even better, and the place itself was quaint, clean, and they had everything you needed at the table. We ordered the tofu rolls, which were so fresh, well seasoned and delicious. I had the house pho which was perfectly cooked, and my partner had the raw beef pho which was also delicious. We brought some home and we are still enjoying it now. We wished we lived closer. Highly recommended!

We absolutely LOVE Pho Ninh Kieu! I have tried MANY vegetarian broths of all kinds, and theirs is by far the best! I usually call ahead now to make sure they have it. Sometimes they run out after a busy night/day before the next batch is ready. They have lovely, thoughtful vegetarian/vegan options that aren’t just an afterthought. The service is always very nice. It can be a little bit slow when they are busy, but they are always very apologetic and thank you for waiting and make up for it by being so kind and friendly and serving amazing food, which always comes out fast. My family also love the meat-based options and rate them the best! If you’re going on the weekend, definitely the earlier the better to get a table without a wait. I love the small, family-run atmosphere and prefer the slower weeknights. No matter when you go, it will be consistently delicious!

My older sister lives in Vietnam so I visited Vietnam several times. This place has very authentic taste of Pho! Clear pho type. The place is very clean and nice family type of restaurant. The staffs are so kind! My husband and I love there. Even though it’s quite far from where I live, I wouldn’t mind going there for pho! If you want to taste real pho broth, go there and try it!

Service was prompt. Waitress asked if we wanted drinks and / or appetizers after ordering our entrees, which we declined. The music playing was loud and gave me a headache. The light was set too low, and I couldn't read the menu until they turned it up a bit. We ordered five entrees. I had the grilled chicken vermicelli noodle.The food was not fresh. Everything was pre made in the name of efficiency. I have had much better Vietnamese food elsewhere. Sadly, I would not be recommending this place. I really tried to like it.

I have been to a number of Pho restaurants around the country, and this Pho restaurants Ga broth is amazing. Unfortunately I do not live locally and can not dine regularly, my loss.

I don't know where to begin with this lovely establishment. Every time I go there I always feel so welcome, the owners are very lovely people always greeting you and thanking you for coming in and eating they always make you feel welcomed no matter how busy they are. Now lets talk about the food, for the price you pay you really get a bang for your buck here the portions are huge. My typical go to is usually the house special PHO large. Very flavorful and a fantastic amount of meat is usually given with it. If you want a bit more you can always ask for extra with a upcharge. Just recently the owner suggested their spicy soups. I can not remember the name of the soup I got but when I say that I found my new go to it made PHO become my second favorite item on their menu.

Food- I always order the House Special Pho, and it does not disappoint. Perfect food for the rainy weather we've been getting. The apps: if they have the grilled squid, YES! But unfortunately, it's not always available. That's when we order the spring rolls, also very good. The Bahn mi sandwich is also very good! Service- depends who is working that day. Sometimes they are very attentive! Atmosphere- the charm of a family-owned business.

Came here for the first time today. The pho and bao buns were excellent. Packed with flavor and hearty portions. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee which was also pretty good!
