The first time I ordered a Guinness (shortly after reopening after Covid) I received it in a plastic 12 oz cup. The other night I went back and reordered thinking a few years later they would have improved. I ordered a Guinness, and it was poured incorrectly. The only thing right is that they used a harp glass. They poured straight to the bottom as if it was a coke on ice. It’s also $11 while the average pint is between $7-$8.

Great atmosphere, it feels like a real-life episode of Cheers! Highly recommend

I'm willing to bet that this place was once amazing... when they actually served the food they advertised. Their online menu drew us in as we absolutely love Irish food. Once we got there, and barely found a place to seat ourselves, I asked for a menu. That's when the bartender informed us they only serve pizza. The bartender said they've been complaining to management since the beginning of the year to take down the online menu, but they reportedly refuse to do so. It was a completely wasted trip because of bad advertising. And we can go absolutely anywhere for pizza and beer. Not sure why this place stays open at this point.

I was hoping for a better Irish pub vibe and decor, but it was a pub with a good whiskey selection. Food is from next door pizza place. Though it is publized as an Irish pub, it is mostly just a pub. Good service, the clientele is mostly college students. It has a good vibe for a pub.

Sadly, they advertise a house wine for happy hour, but they never have any in stock. Also, the beer kegs are often tapped out, leaving few choices. 😞

I went to Finnegans last night for Star Wars trivia and it was great, the host didn’t know Star Wars much himself but was funny about it. They said they usually do Disney trivia so I will definitely be back when that comes up.

They are amazing here. And amazing drinks.. such a good atmosphere 😄😃

I’ve been here a few times over the years and every time it was a completely mediocre experience. Every time I go I am ignored for at least 15 minutes sometimes as long as 20 to 25 before I’m even acknowledged. It is very clear that here the regulars are the only thing that matters. The last time I came the bartender ignored me for about 15 minutes and when she finally stopped talking to her friends she accused me of having a fake Id and quizzed me on the details. Even after I answered all her questions right she still didn’t believe me and only allowed me to have one drink. Overall unless you are a regular don’t expect good service here. It’s clear this bar doesn’t know how to tell a real id from a fake. I have not been back since then. Why would I pay bar prices for liquor when I’m going to be ignored and accused of having a fake Id? I rather drink at home than be treated like I’m not a good enough customer.I would have definitely had spent a lot more if I was allowed to. In addition to that the one drink I was allowed was disgusting. The lime juice in my drink was clearly past its date it was more than sour it was rotten. I wish bars would check their lemon and lime juice before giving it to customers. I wouldn’t be mad if she asked me to verify my birthday or something like that but to quiz me on my address, my height, and other details on my Id is ridiculous. If I wanted to be ignored and treated like I was doing something wrong I would definitely go back to this bar.

This is a fun place great outdoor seating and the drinks were very good. I’ll go back for sure.

The environment is very cozy and has an incredible atmosphere, I was well received by the staff, not to mention the wonderful food that was served to me, everything was top quality, I have nothing to complain about, I thought the live music made the environment more elegant, it's worth it worth visiting!

Just left town after visiting for a week and ended up going here twice. Enjoyed the corned beef Philly and the bartenders. Will absolutely be back whenever I pass by town again

Game week-end…went for dinner on Sunday night as a first visit and was told NO FOOD on Sundays! Not one mention of this on web page or FB…not cool! Poor upkeep of marketing etc.

The atmosphere was that of a typical Irish pub. It took a while for the bartender to notice me at the bar, even though it wasn't very crowded. She wasn't very friendly and seemed to be annoyed that I closed my tab after ordering. Then I noticed when I got home that she added $2 extra to my tip amount after I signed my receipt. Definitely recommend checking your bank/credit card statement and saving your receipt!! This was my first and probably the last time I'll be going there.

Great environment. Check out the food, it was fresh and delicious.

Best bar in town with the best irish beers and great place to hang out 'til late at night

Bartender was friendly towards other patrons but was rude and uncaring to me and my fiance. No menu, and when asking the bartender for his recommendation for rum cocktails he could only come up with rum and coke. That's a home drink and there's no way I'm paying for something that lazy from a bar so we left. Beautiful place though.

The corned beef Philly cheese steak is ingenious and was delicious. The Amoroso’s roll direct from Philly put it over the top!

They know how to pour a good point of Guinness!!

Finn's has become my go-to bar for weekends. Jim is peak bartender, always knows my order before I even have to speak.

Came here the other night for the first time and had just the most delightful time! Maria was my bartender and she was just wonderful, and the drinks were great :)! i recommend anyone who’s looking for a new bar in town!

I love going to Finn’s when my favorite bartender hunter is working!! He always makes the best drinks and is great at karaoke especially his covers of vanilla ice!

So glad they are open again. My favorite bar in town hands down. Love the constant stream of live entertainment they have started and I like the food options they've added as well. Bar staff are knowledgeable and friendly. No better place to sit around drinking good drinks with better people

Finnegan’s is one of Tallahassee’s best bars and only Irish pub. The staff here is the best and the atmosphere is great. Definitely a favorite weekend spot.

Great pub, fun, congenial atmosphere! I wish I could go this weekend but last weekend while I was waiting for my soda, the guy next to me asked me to sleep with him. People read me wrong, I go there because I hope to see someone I met 3 weeks ago, not to pick up any guy. I was alone which I guess is not the way to go. But definitely take your friends there and you'll have a very nice time. The music is decent and if you want to dance, the dance party is right next door on Fridays and Saturdays. I recommend this pub very highly!

Great drinks! Strong not watered down or replaced with cheaper liquor. The music was nice and conversation is always good at the bar!

best bar staff in town, everyone is extremely knowledgeable on mixology and they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. prices are reasonable and I couldn’t be happier that they are back in midtown!

We had the best time there last night! Our group went because of the dancing! It’s the only place in town adults can dance in a safe environment. The bar tenders were friendly and surprisingly fast for as crowded as it was. We will be back!

Fantastic experience. So happy they were able to re-open. Jenna made us feel so welcome and at home. I've been eagerly awaiting to return to finn's and she made me feel so comfortable with the transition into new ownership. I'll definitely be returning for that kind of customer service.

Now the owner is Norwegian and the manager comes from Cork And the lad that's holding up the bar says 'Only Eejits Work' He was born and bred in Bolton but his mammy's from Kildare And he's going to make his fortune soon and move to County Clare
