Finding a place to park close sucked.

I love this place. It's my favorite sandwich shop in Memphis. The food is great, but the service is even better.

The BEST sandwich on Earth!!! Hands down, no contest. I haven't eaten here in 15 years, although I've considered having a sandwich fedex'd a million times since then😆 It's still just as good as way back then. The bread is insane, incredible cheese & the olive spread makes the whole thing. Run - don't walk to Fino's!!!

We were driving through, and found this sandwich shop. It's great! Loved the philly and also chicken sandwich. It's a really cool place, with a lot of history.

Excellent service. The food is outstanding. It is a small place. I was very impressed with the food and service. Large portions of food. If you want good Italian food you need to go there.

I continue going here because I love the sandwiches, and they remind me of the sandwiches made at my Sicilian grandfather's deli. However, my order is messed up 9 times out of 10. I think it would be excusable if they were busier or if there weren't so many people working. I feel like the midtown business has gone down hill since the opening (then closing) of their Poplar location.

I got the spaghetti with meatballs for lunch and it was delicious :) I can’t wait to go back.

The sandwich bread was different and we like the old style better.

Amazing food and amazing customer service. I've gone in there two weeks in a row now, and the 2 guys working there, Dwayne and Ken, are always incredibly friendly, talkative, and funny. They move quickly and make great sandwiches. The sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had, and for the amount of meat and toppings you get, the price is very competitive.

Any time I’ve called finos for a pickup order in the past few months, if they even answer the phone, they act like they are closing down no matter the time of day. What’s the point of ordering in and paying for something that gets two stars simply for having fresh meat and cheese? Bread is dry, thick and tasteless; barely any meat or cheese to speak of; a sprinkle of lettuce with “tomato and onion dressing” lacking tomato, onion, and flavor. It’s not worth the money when Fino’s has become so hit or miss. Used to be so good!!

This place has changed a lot over the years. I miss the the bread they used to have. But, none the less, it is still delicious, fresh and the service is unmatched.

bread at the Germantown location was harder than steel. I have gotten food here and asked for no mayo, and the just slather it on anyway.

Fino's is delicious and has lightning fast great service all around. Penn station is my fav, but can't go wrong with any of their delicious sandwiches. Also the premade selections are all delicious, my fav being the pasta salad but again you can't go wrong. Soups of the day are always great too

I order the veggie sandwich all the time but they do not put enough vegetables in the sandwich depending on who's making it. it's just bread and cheese sometimes.

This place has some of the best sandwiches in the city and the staff is always helpful and friendly. I’ve tried the Penn Station, the Fino, the Fino-Letta, and the New York. All were equally delicious, so I don’t think it’s possible to go wrong with any sandwich on the menu.

No frills interior with a deli counter. The sandwiches don’t look like anything special, but this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Bread is crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, and flavors are perfectly balanced. Will be back for lunch any time I’m near Memphis!

A true gem. Fino’s offers delicious Italian cuisine at great prices. The pasta dishes are fantastic. The atmosphere has a charming bustle. It’s no wonder so many locals frequent this midtown deli. This deli is busy for a reason! If you’re on a tight lunch schedule, try to arrive as early as you can and even then you may have to wait a bit. Lunch time really picks up for these guys and it’s obvious they work hard to get orders out in an efficient and timely manner. Adding to this, I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to appreciate their work ethic and commitment to customer service. It is simply outstanding. I have worked several service industry jobs and to see such a well mannered crew putting together my lunch, taking great care and effort to get it right, adds a delightful element to my experience each time I come here. It cannot be understated how much I enjoy being a patron of Fino’s. GO EAT HERE!!

Looking for a sub while visiting Memphis. Searched web and looked at pictures and read reviews...picked Fino's. Good choice! Subs were really good. I had the turkey club and it was very fresh and flavorful. Hubby had Italian roast beef and said it good too. Guys behind counter were pleasant and very nice. Definitely recommend!

My favorite deli in all of Memphis. Sandwiches are always the best flavor and ingredients with the bread that brings it all to harmoniously work. Everything we've had from Finos has been awesome and has us coming back.

I've been going here for years and it's always great for a lunch sandwich. This time I took my 15YO son and it was his first visit, he was impressed and wanted to go back again soon.

My husband and I visited this deli for the first time. I ordered the South Philly sandwich and he ordered the pesto fettuccine. Never, have I enjoyed a sandwich so much! It had so much flavor! The freshly sliced meat and crusty bread put other delis to shame. The man working behind the counter was so helpful and genuinely friendly. The high quality of the food and the kind, I rushed service will have us back again. I can’t wait to try more from Fino’s.

This place serves both warm and cold sandwiches, and they are more than just sandwiches. They are fresh made with quality ingredients. 10/10 surprised with how good my meal was.

No gimmicks. Just good Italian style sandwiches. Solid every time. Hours could be better during the week, but COVID has landed us in strange territory.

I would've gave 1* but the guy working was super nice and accommodating. I had what was called an Italian beef. It's the absolute worst beef sandwich I've ever had. It was toasted. They did actually have pepperocini peppers. But the toasted bread took everything away from the beef. It had something red in it and melted cheese on top. Please rethink your beef and make it authentic to what this sandwich was meant to be. I would try again if the sandwich was recreated to what an original Italian beef was meant to be which is dipped or soaked. Never toasted. So much potential for this restaurant.

Awesome bread, great ingredients, and friendly service. My sandwhich did not exactly match the description and the bread/meat ratio was not as aunthetic as I would have expected considering the price point but all around very good for Memphis!!

Deli sandwich for me and pizza for the hubz.... Fresh made and delicious! The staff was kind, friendly and informative too! Several delicious looking desserts too.... Brown buttered, salted chocolate chip cookies were scrumptious!

Eat here. It's that simple. The food is phenomenal. It is truly a Memphis establishment you should experience. This is a perfect spot for your work day lunch, a quick and delicious dinner, or a chill meal as you explore Midtown Memphis. I love the fino-letta, personally, but I don't think there's a bad item.

Nothing fancy but I love their spaghetti and meatballs. A half order is only about $8 and is plenty for lunch.

I happened into this little “well kept secret” this week and loved what I found! I loved the “local lunch hangout” feel and friendliness of the staff. I wanted just a little something while I waited for another local business to open, so I selected their soup of the day which was an incredible roasted tomato with corn chowder and it was perfect. I will be going back to try some of their other items! I highly recommend this deli for some flavor!!!

First time here and I was not disappointed! Boyfriend and I stopped in for a little after work Italian and it was yummy. I don't normally order a meatball sub but this one made my belly happy. The marinara sauce was delish, although saltier than I expected. Even still, I just smacked my lips just looking at these pictures. Yum.

Meats were good. Same meats used at vinillis in Germantown. That being said Vinos bread totally sucks and is hard as a rock.

Yummers, they have soft and true italian "hard " bread. In my opinion both are great. All the sides are very good. Big selection of drinks and friendly staff. Wish they were open more often but still love it every chance I can

Dear God in Heaven this place is friggin amazing! From the outside, Fino's doesn't look like much, and is easy to pass by. With that said, this place lets it's fresh made bread and onion-tomato stuff of legendary awesomeness say everything the simplicity of this place doesn't. The price is more than reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for. All of the meats and cheeses are sliced fresh and piled high. I ordered a half sandwich since I'd never been here, and I'm glad I did. Unless you are a competitive eater, I'd recommend doing the same. The half sandwich is big enough to fill me and my guy up. I'd definitely come back again and again to this awesome little Italian deli!

I loved this place before and it's even better now. Generous sandwich sizes, much brighter inside, and quick prep. I could eat lunch here everyday.

Fino's is known for its delicious Italian subs, but they also have the best spaghetti marinara in Memphis. So glad it's open again.

My favorite menu item was the Italian Green Salad, a really simple salad but the tomato onion dressing made it phenomenal. I went in last week, now that a third owner has taken over, hoping it would still taste like the salad that I love...sadly I was disappointed. The restaurant looks amazing, the staff was courteous and it was bustling with customers. I placed my order and waiting anxiously for my food. Wheny my number was called, I walked up and the packaging was different, that's was unexpected but okay. Clear plastic bowl with a tight fitting lid, okay cool. But then I saw it... The tomato onion dressing was in a two ounce container.. just two ounces! Gone were the big pieces of tomato and chunks of onion. Fortunately I asked for extra dressing when I ordered. One container had a sliver of tomato and the other container had two slivers. One of the gentleman noticed my confused look and sorta smiled. The other young man assured me it was the same recipe. What I had was a bunch of moist lettuce stuffed into the bottom of the plastic container with a few black olives, tiny shredded pieces of salami and small bits of cheese on top. Disappointed and sad because it was not the fresh salad with huge Chuck's of onion and tomato I fully expected. I was not satiated! I didn't think it was possible to screw up a simple salad. @kellyenglish, lose the cutesy container, use fresh, crisp green lettuce and increase the container size of the dressing. Chunks of tomato and onion - not slivers.

Very good place. Came for lunch at like 3pm and got a sausage sub. Fast and efficient but brought out the wrong sub🤷‍♂️

The star rating is preliminary for now. Fino's, one of my favorites for many years, re-opened under the ownership of esteemed chef Kelly English about two weeks ago. Today, a Saturday, they were slammed at lunch, and it just wouldn't be right to rate them until they have a chance to get it together. It was pretty much chaos. The sandwiches took nearly 30 minutes to come and were not bad. My half Agosti was about two bucks more than before and had about two-thirds the salami. My son's whole, also about two bucks more, was about right; both appeared to have been hastily assembled by sandwich makers who were under the gun. A price increase was appropriate in that the old Fino's sold these great, generous sandwiches for ridiculously low prices. Just please make sure the meat is right, however. I missed the fountain drinks. I had read the old staff was offered their jobs back, but these were all new faces, hence, with the crowd, the clunky performance. Will try them again in a month and hope for the best. So, as promised, we returned after a month. Things were much more normal. Mainly, the crowd was just slightly above average for a Saturday afternoon. The staff seemed to have it under control. My wife's hot roast beef was incredibly generous. My agosti was good. We both thought the bread was a little off still. Hers, she said, was too soft and soaked up the gravy more than she liked. These things are so subjective, and it's hard to compare without a side-by-side opportunity. Bottom line: we will put Fino's back in our regular lunch rotation and hope for continued improvement, but it seems good already. One further observation, as a customer I resent when the media food writers -- food promoters really -- are so buddy-buddy with the owners/chefs that the readers they should have foremost in mind get overly optimistic reports.

Phenomenal sandwiches! The New York club was huge and the toppings were dripping off but didn't overpower the meat / cheese in the sandwich. She had the hot Italian roast beef. Ordered half and took half home. Fantastic!
