Hidden gem in Memphis! This place was so excellent I would give it extra stars! I was scraping the plate.

A Delightful Date Night at Marciano's. My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining this past Saturday night, and I must say, it was an experience to remember! We made reservations ahead of time, which I highly recommend, as it was quite the popular spot that evening. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic date. As for the food, it was absolutely divine. We started our culinary journey with the Seafood Manicotti and Veal Saltimbocca. The seafood was perfectly cooked, nestled in a deliciously creamy sauce, and the veal was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. My date was particularly impressed with the broccoli served on the side – a seemingly simple dish executed flawlessly. Despite the busy atmosphere, we didn’t have to wait long for our meals, and everything tasted freshly made. To cap off a delightful dinner, we shared a slice of their heavenly tiramisu - a sweet treat that left us both wowed. The service was attentive and unobtrusive, contributing to the relaxed and enjoyable evening we were hoping for. From the food to the atmosphere, everything was spot on. Small, unassuming restaurant, but great good and the staff was great. Such a great Bruchetta!! It's a must-have!! The care and attention to the details of food prep were appreciated. Well done to Crystal, and the entire team in the back of the house!

Great service. Food was so good .great drinks.the tarimasu is the best, pair it with the tawny port and you will be in heaven. The peach proseco is great too. I had the crab cakes they were soooo good,the bread and pesto sauce is better thenany i have had so much better than bread and that oil dip. They do no dussapoint been there twice and left so pkeased and satisfied

A true find ;) I called the day before Mothers Day and they got us in for an afternoon lunch on Mothers Day! It was our last day in Memphis, and when I was looking for a restaurant I realized omgosh!! It's Mothers Day Sunday. I called expecting them to say they were full, but he got us in, a table for 4. The food is just like being in your Italian grandmother's kitchen. Each portion is easily enough for a second meal. I had angel hair pasta and salmon. The service lovely, friendly, just enough attention to make sure we were taken care of. We will definitely make this place our go to every year when we visit for the Blues Awards in May. I went here once on a date and had a wonderful time, so I decided to come out with my sister for dinner. The food and service were both amazing. I had the beef tenderloin caprese appetizer, veal piccata, limoncello spritzer, and creme brûlée. I savored every single bite. The prices are very fair for the portion size and quality of food, and they even have a gluten free pasta option! I will definitely return in the future, and I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a lovely dinner out!

First of all, the food was incredible! Also, they let us in, and insisted we eat even after they were about to close (Google still has them open to 10pm on Sunday-it’s 9pm). Insanely friendly, and the chef came out and talked to us, and our server was great! We’ll be back for sure.

First time eating at this restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was quiet, and comfortable. Service was top notch! The food was delicious, and cooked to perfection! I would recommend the veal saltimbocca. It’s exquisite! We will most definitely be coming back.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! I used to work here years ago and know the chef, Marty personally. The food is authentic Italian and ingredients are very fresh! The atmosphere is very chill, posh feel. We went for my 30th birthday dinner, and Maryna took care of my entire party! Everyone enjoyed their food and the ambiance!! The chef Marty came out to introduce himself, he is very personable yet professional. My husband says he needs to order red trout to-go after work. My bolognese eggplant parmigiano was cooked to perfection! I have missed the realness and rawness of the flavors and ingredients! Super thumbs up, my family and friends will be back along with us!

The overall experience at Marciano Restaurant was absolutely perfect. I went with two co-workers and we arrived right before the kitchen closed. Crystal was our server, and she was so incredibly kind and knowledgeable and provided exceptional customer service. The atmosphere was so cool and the specials looked great. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiano, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended and ask for Crystal. Such a memorable experience and meal. Anytime I visit Memphis, this place will be on my list. 👍🏾 👍🏾

I had a group of 14 that wanted a nice dining experience before we went to a concert that started at 7:00. The chef/owner, Morti, called me back immediately when I left a message on the reservation line and said that the best way to meet our time schedule was for everybody to go online and make their menus selection for me to text to him which I did. When we arrived, the table was beautifully set for 14 and our waitress was waiting for us to take our drink orders. Our food arrived within 10 minutes and everything was absolutely wonderful! I can personally vouch for the veal piccata which five of us had and it was excellent! She gave us separate checks as we requested and, after a wonderful meal and nice conversation, we had plenty of time to go to our next event. This is truly a secret gym in East Memphis in Brookhaven Circle with a wonderful atmosphere with nice music in the background, but not so loud that you can't have a good conversation. I highly recommend Marciano's for a special night out!

The food was very good. I had the special appetizer (crab chowder) and the special dinner (red snapper). Our server was terrific, too. I highly recommend this restaurant. Parking was my only issue.

This was the second time my husband and I have come here, and it’s definitely now a favorite. Everything is impeccable. This place is a GEM. Everything was fantastic. We had the bruschetta, chicken parmigiana, tiramisu and cheesecake, and neither one of us wanted to leave anything uneaten! HIGHLY recommend

Traveling through La Grange, Kentucky from Dallas. Fantastic steak restaurant, and we have many in Dallas to compare to.

Mariana was our waitress and extremely racist I am aghast at the treatment we received from being asked if I wanted to review the menu while standing not being offered seating and finally asking me if I wanted to sit at the bar with my minor. We waited for acknowledgment for about 13 minutes and weren’t able to place our order until about 22 minutes after we sat down. We weren’t told the specials until after I inquired after the table next to us were read the specials. We weren’t offered any beverages other than water until after asking. The bread we were served was ice cold after inquiring if it was supposed to be warmed she grudgingly took it back to the kitchen and returned it extremely hard. The service other than the water waiter was horrible I definitely wouldn’t return. The waitresses behavior was clearly racist as she was so warm to other non black customers. Very disappointing

I rode around Brookhaven circle looking for something to eat for dinner. I saw this Italian restaurant and decided to stop in. When I tell you I'm so glad I did. I was greeted at the door by a gentleman with an accent😊 who asked me how many was in my party, I proudly said TABLE FOR ONE. The special was shrimp and lobster over angel hair pasta with broccoli as a side and I had a glass of Pinot. When I tell you I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and it was reasonable. I let my waitress know I shall return. It was mentioned reservations might be needed on the weekend. I'm not sure on how to add a picture.🤔😊

Very quaint spot for dinner, service was outstanding, and the food was even better. Perfect spot for a quiet dinner date. They have a full bar and their strawberry lemon drop martini was one of the best I've had.

A hidden gem. Took my grandma out for dinner. She is notoriously picky and critical about service and food. She was nothing short of delighted with the food and service. The portions were great, the food delicious, and atmosphere lovely. We had a great dinner and will definitely be back for more.

Visited this restaurant while vacationing from Central Florida. It was AMAZING !! The Service from Crystal was Top Notch and Compliments to the Chef for preparing one of the best meals we have ever had. Highly Recommend and will Definitely return next time we are in the area.

We requested our food be free of allergens such as dairy. There was cheese on our food and no spices or herbs. We sent it back and we again received the same food with cheese on it. The portion size was also small. I ended up not eating at the restaurant. My husband’s ribeye was overcooked and chewy with no flavor. I contacted the company about my concerns and I did not get a response. The other guests with us seemed to like the soup and desserts, though. Our bill was $300.

The atmosphere was a little quiet and lonely it seemed sad, the food was ok and average, the chicken and the caprese salad was above average

Terrible service. 10 min for water. 20 min no wine. Staff were disorganized and slow. No hidden gem anymore like older reviews say. Staff not even acknowledging your presence.

Authentic Mediterranean & Italian Food! It gives vibes from the Netflix movie “From Scratch”. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Chef was so kind! 10/10 would recommend.

Out of all places in Memphis, my wife chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner. Personally, I was not impressed. My food was overcooked. It did not feel like restaurant food, more like pasta from Wal-Mart can. The drinks were so so. It was nice of chef to provide a birthday cake although we still decided to try their creme brulee but was not impressed with that either. It was too sugary and the cream did not even taste that good. The wife liked her dish and that's all that matters to me. The atmosphere was ok I guess, but it was too dark. I think there are better places out there for the money. The service was good.

1st time but not the last. The food was so fresh and cooked with love by the chef. Koy, our server was fantastic and took care of us with a smile. Atmosphere was very quaint and romantic for my wife's birthday. We had a great time and will be back!

The food was high quality and in fact we ordered the Veal Piccata and it was the best we've experience in the city in years. Coy was our server and she was fantastic!! The place is clean and very pleasant. A diamond in the rough!!!

Went here for a work Christmas party. Appetizers only. Food was OK, but they were running out of things. Kinda disappointing.

We wanted to try a different Italian restaurant in Memphis, so we tried Marciano's. The service was slow, the salmon was salty, the creme bruille was nasty, my ceasar salad dressing was horrible, and my tiramisu was completely soggy. There was another dish that my niece sent back. I don't know if maybe Saturday was a bad night but for $158 I would've expected better food. The music was nice though.

Ordered takeout from this restaurant tonight and the experience was great! This was my first time trying Marciano and the food was excellent, as well as the service. I love the cranberry goat cheese in the avocado salad, and the avocado was so fresh! My husband and I split the veal piccata and the chicken Marciano and everything was delicious! The bread was a nice bonus too. Highly recommend and look forward to dining in next time!

Oh my! The best Italian food this side of the Atlantic. If you want outstanding Italian and middle eastern this is the best in Memphis. The Koi was awesome! Make sure you make a reservation! Thank you!

We found this hidden gem googling date night restaurants for my birthday dinner! ☺ love love love everything from the staff to the service to the decor and the food!!! Let me say I've never tasted pesto sauce.... Their homemade pesto sauce was to die for!! I believe they sell it I'm definitely buying some next time we go! There were only 2 things... 1 it was super quiet! Needs some soft music playing..could have been because it was like 2 hours before closing but they didn't mind us playing some music on our phone! 2 there were bits of shell in my lump crab stuffed manicotti... My husband said "hey at least you know it's real crab"! 😂😂😂

I made reservations a week ahead of time even spoke to manager Martin. The Waitress we had was rude as hell. She made several rude jokes even saying to one of my guests that we weren’t going to be put out as of yet.. bad joking that wasn’t the only bad joke .. and then they ruined his cake by cutting it before hand saying that they didn’t want the icing to stain the table cloth.. Owner said he didn’t care that we were basically handled rudely.

This isn’t Olive Garden. Very nice restaurant. Could be considered a 3 star restaurant. Prices start at about $20 for an entree up the $37 for the tenderloin. If you want a salad it’s about $10. If you want bread and pesto it’s about $8. I really think for the prices free bread should came with our food . We had bruschetta as an app chicken parmigiana and seafood manicotti followed by crème brûlée and tiramisu for dessert.we both had diet cokes and the bill was $81 dollars. So with tip it was an even $100 bucks. So it depends if you like real Italian food made to order by a real Italian chef then this is the place! My wife loves this place and will be her go to for special occasions. This was her birthday dinner by the way.

Okay… I now have a new favorite. This place is an absolutely fantastic local restaurant. The staff really works hard to ensure you have an excellent dining experience… and the chef… he actually came out and apologized that they were missing an ingredient for the dish I ordered. However, seeing I was kinda set on that dish he was more than kind and offered to tweak the recipe just for me. Let me tell you it was fabulous!! On a scale from one to five I would give them a ten.

We were invited to a wedding rehearsal dinner and the family rented the entire restaurant for the affair. I was not used to the level of cleanliness from the time you walk through the front door to the tables windows and bathrooms. The service was mediocre at best it was almost like fend for yourself. The food was absolutely terrible I did not eat 90% of what was on my plate I am not used to this level of food from an Italian restaurant or a restaurant that calls itself Italian. The chicken parmesan was definitely Frozen and was oven heated the Caesar salad had a very bitter taste to it and was not edible I also had salmon which tasted very fishy and oily. I am from out of town and visited this restaurant due to the wedding we were invited to and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food or service.

This restaurant was such a surprise! We were greeted by a sweet young lady who was not only the hostess, but took orders, and served. She was amazing and so pleasant even though she was responsible for serving everyone in the dining room. That was just the beginning. The food was amazing! Hands down....the best Italian food in Memphis. Everything was fresh and delicious. Give my compliments to the chef. We will be back. I had the special: sea bass with angel hair pasta in a cream sauce!!! I also tried the chicken mushroom pesto pizza on pita bread. DELISH!

Great service and delicious food.

First time here, wasn't packed, but the atmosphere was lively. Got seated pretty quickly and even had a candle lit for me. I order some white wine, a little too sour for my taste. I got the crab cakes as an appetizer, only complaint was that it had a little too much cilantro. I was also given some bread and pesto while I waited for my food. Can't say it was anything too special, but it was pretty good. As my entree, I got the 2nd veal item on the menu, I can't recall the name, but I ended up having to get it to go. I didn't mind the angel hair pasta until it was covered in all the super oily and salty juice from the mozzarella cheese and the white wine sauce I believe. The broccoli was good, but it sucked up all that oily juice, wasn't very good after that. The prosciutto was good after picking it off the veal and taking off all the mozzarella cheese, I had to pat the mozzarella down as well to be able to taste the cheese, was pretty good after that. It was an okay dining experience.

Food is 10/10 some of the best Italian food that I have ever had. However, we had a reservation for 2 at 8:30, showed up at 8:25, got seated at 8:45, got bread at 9:15, got dinner at 9:30 with us ordering asap… Really disappointed in the lack of organization because we were stoked about dinner the environment was beautiful.

Was a quiet night but it was perfect - The service was great and my server was very sweet. Salad wad great - But my Veal Parm was off the chain and perfectly done. Hats of to the detail that the chef does to make sure you food taste and looks fantastic.

Well slept on well kept secret for Italian with a sliver of Greek flair! The seafood manicotti was beautifully pairs with a homemade Alfredo sauce and Romano cheeses oozed from on top and within. The pesto, fresh you could taste the basil, garlic every herb titillated my tongue with every bite. The bread was smooth, warm and supple with every scoop of pesto. The Greek spinach salad could have used a stronger more flavorful salad dressing but everything is homemade which ok can appreciate. I loved that pesto so much I can’t stop thinking about it.

It was nice and cozy. It's billed as an Italian/Mediterranean restaurant. However, there's not much Mediterranean to it. It was pleasant, but what I ordered was mostly bland. Plum sauce was bitter, and the chicken was lacking. The waitress was very nice though. I'd taken my best friend for a 2 day belated birthday present.

The food was really good and I loved the atmosphere. You can actually hear your dinner companions and talk. Service was amazing as well.

Had dinner at Marciano Wednesday night with family members. It was a great experience. Our dinner was much better than I expected. Everything was tasty! I am a native Memphian and I have not heard much about this restaurant. I could only see one fault - the exterior of the restaurant could use some updating. It should be overlooked and try this restaurant - you will be glad you did.....

Excellent experience. Our waitress was great, the cocktails were great, the food was stellar. All 4 of us sampled each other's dishes and there was not a bad entrée to be found, all 4 were excellent. The pesto is on another level. This place is highly recommended.

Cute restaurant, but is too small I felt too crowded and the food was not so great . Food was bland needed to more flavor. Drinks were good . They closed to early also and would of been nice to have more parking option and some music inside .

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Quiet, nice atmosphere with friendly staff. We had the special of the night, sea bass over angel hair pasta with grilled veggies, and also pan seared veal. Both were delicious, hot and perfectly prepared. The pita bread, pesto and Tiramisu were amazing as well. We intend to come back and try other menu items like their pastas and pizzas. Excellent restaurant on the less crowded side of Brookhaven Circle.
