What a gem! A must stop while in town! Such great food, tasty hushpuppies and catfish, super friendly and amazing service!

It is a local hang-out … and for a good reason! The food is great and so is the service! We enjoyed sitting outside :-). We went there almost everyday :-)

This is a great little place to eat. I go there often. Family friendly atmosphere always clean. I have enjoyed the food. It on a curve back road in the middle of nowhere, but I enjoy old country back roads. If you're in a hurry to get to a place to eat then this place is probably not for you lol But for all ya'll back road lovers I give this neat little place a thumbs up

Service was great even though they were really busy. Food was delicious and delivered hot. Fun and relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed conversation with other people sitting at tables close by while we waited for our food. Definitely will be back!

Great Place, Bambi was our waitress and was fabulous! Let us bring our lap/velcro dog into the screened in porch as we had lunch. What a lunch! The big salade was huge and the grilled chicken breast on top was perfect. We also had the pecan catfish, coleslaw, & white beans, and it was also perfect . Finished off splitting a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, so good. We will be back. Thank you all for being so nice, I didn't see an unhappy customer.

Great Food! Had the blackened fish poboy, wonderful! Wife had 2 piece catfish meal and loved it. Our son had the stromboli sandwich, everything was spot on! going back for pizza tomorrow.

Great discovery on a Kentucky day trip. We talked to a local family and they said the food and people were great. I agree. We arrived at opening time and by the time we finished our meal the place was packed. The pulled pork sandwich was fresh off the smoker made with homemade bbq sauce. Chicken tenders were delicious too. Ice cream was very good also. Take notice of restaurant hours. They are only open Thursday through Sunday.

I have so many good things to say about this place I don't know where to start. I'll start with the food. THEE BEST CHEESEBURGER I'VE EVER HAD!!!! I never get burgers from anywhere that is fast casual...but had to try them. Service on point. Staff friendly. Food great. Place quaint. Small. Loved everything about it. If we happen to come back thru Cadiz on another trip.... we're there! Wish they were open every day. Kinda weird hours but worth the wait.

What a place! From out of town.The server was wonderful. She was super sweet the kids. The food was fantastic and low prices! Breakfast was fantastic and ended up ordering pizza from there too! Worth more than 5 stars

This was a fun, hometown kind of place. We have been staying at a house on Lake Barkley and this was our last night before heading home. We walked in and weren't sure what to do until another customer told us to just sit wherever...so we did. We all ordered the catfish because when the place is called "The Fishin Hole" you have to have the fish! The blackened fish had good flavor, however it is spicy. Sadly, the pieces of fish for those of us who ordered it blackened were half the size of the fried fish pieces. In the future, we would only order the fried. The fried fish was the best I've ever ate. Thankfully, my husband planned ahead and ordered the three piece fried so he could share with me. The beans were very bland and needed salt and the offered relish. The slaw was very good. I like my slaw, but usually no one else's. I enjoyed the slaw here. We did not try any of the dessert, but it looked good. We really enjoyed the small town, hometown feel of this place. The servers knew many of the customers by name. If we are ever back though here, we will definitely take a seat at a table again. Great food, great service, great atmosphere!

Welcome to the Fishin' hole "Good food -- Good people -- Good times" This is so accurate to this restaurant. We visited from Louisville and we are SO impressed. Fish was spiced perfectly, beans were great, hush pups were flakey, and the slaw was bumping. Great portions. Great price. Great country feel from generous people who love God and pursue what matters most in life. Loved the southern charm.

The catfish was so good! The ice cream was creamy, phenomenal. Our waitress was very kind and helpful.

This place is amazing. The fried catfish fillets melt in your mouth and the hush puppies, white beans and coleslaw is very tasty. The service was awesome and the atmosphere is very la8d back and relaxing.

The food was good. We ordered the catfish meals and enjoyed them. My son ordered the Philly cheesesteak, but he said it was too greasy. The ice cream was good. The servers were friendly and attentive. Would go here again.

Amazing food and great service.

Found this place by accident. Husband ordered pizza, was hot fresh amd delicious. Cheese piled upon more cheese. I got the fish plate. Steaming hot, coleslaw was impeccable ( I'm a hard one to please with coleslaw). I should so mention we ate breakfast there earlier amd came back for dinner.

We had the most excellent service. We had 3 very lovely ladies helping our table of 6. Our food was out by 10 minutes or less and the order was exactly what we ordered and delicious. We were there about 6 pm on a Sat. 7/15/23 so at a high volume time.

Best catfish I’ve ever had. Worth the trip out here. The ice cream is excellent too. A single scoop was enough to fill me up.

As far as atmosphere the place is nice. Drunken customers made our visit less than fun. But the waitress put up with them with a smile and served all their stupid needs. That alone indicates their great service. Food was as good as we have had anywhere.

Friendly staff!!! great food!!!! A place you can dine alone or with family...and you have got to check out the ice cream 🍨🍦 in the back... 😋 Yummy Mayfield ice cream with a lot of good flavors and they will put it in a cone in a bowel or my favorite in a bowel with the cone on top😉😍

Choices are limited on that side of the lake and so are the hours they are open, it was good.

Excellent service and the food came out so quickly! (This while they were very busy.) Not only was the service and food prompt, the quality was also excellent. I had the fish dinner and the fillets were as perfectly fixed as anyone could want. My wife had a grilled chicken salad and it filled a large platter. If we are ever in this area again we will be back!

The food and choices not near as good as previous owners. When we went to the enclosed sun porch the waitress said she would be right out. After waiting 10 mins on the very warm porch when she came out as a family with kids had just sat down she immediately went to their table after we had been the only ones sitting out there waiting.. Took their drink order and was gone another long time. We sat a very long time just to get our drink order and drinks. This family of 4 had their food and already done eating 30 mins before we even got ours. We waited a hour on our food unlike the family of four that came in after us.. We had one drink each with ice that had long melted away. The tea tasted like it was 3 days old. 1 menu for each table. The room started to fill and service went to worse. Two people actually brought in birds, one huge that sat freely on the back of chair 2 feet from me using the bathroom twice as birds do. One even took off and flew over our heads and the woman was afraid someone would hurt him him as we ducked from the bird..The owner saw the birds and said nothing. The birds drank from restaurant glasses. While they thought it was cute, sitting next to animals, feathers flying and feces, as I eat is pretty nasty.

Great little spot in Cadiz near Prizer Point, it’s a good place to go for breakfast where you can sit and talk. Terrible cell phone reception and no Internet but who needs that when you’re at the lake. food is simple food have not had any stand out dishes or anything craveable dishes yet and pretty much tried everything. I am glad to see that they’re always really busy so I’m sure it will be there for a while.

This food was absolutely delicious

Brought my parents there for lunch today. Got a blt, pulled pork and pork tenderloin sandwiches. The sandwiches are very big that you almost need to cut them in half to manage,which is great. The pork tenderloin was terrific. Bacon on the blt was very meaty. Just a good meal.

Friendly local food and great fish!

Me and my girlfriend were visiting the area from out of town and wanted to try out and support a local place. Fishin Hole was right down the road from our AirBnb and after stopping there twice, we would drive out of our way to stop there next time! The food and ice cream was so good and everyone we met there was so friendly from the owner and employees to the other patrons. After we left we both talked about how CLEAN it was! That is something that is becoming more and more rare as we try places. We had a great experience and highly recommend it to anyone who is in the Land Between the Lakes area! We are possibly planning another trip here during the summer with a group of friends and we will DEFINITELY be bringing them by!

We've come every week since The Ham Festival. My loves the catfish. The pizza is amazing. This Philly is a 10!! I cannot wait to try everything else!!!

A great place to eat! We love stopping here! Very clean. Lots of options! They also have a kid's menu. Can't miss the Pretzels and Beer Cheese! Great folks and great service!
