Hands down the best bagels I’ve ever had. The chew, the crunch, the flavors are all there. The OG is also a great go to especially with the house-made sausage, but definitely explore their specials too! Today’s special with salami rosa was absolutely incredible…The flavor profiles of all their sandwiches are just so well balanced and articulately crafted. Can’t recommend them enough!!

Finally stopped in for a to go order and glad I did! The place is very cool and the people that work there are super nice, welcoming and helpful. I got the special Chopped Beef and it was amazing. Loved my first visit! This place rocks and the vibes are nice.

Have came here a handful of times and each time has been great. Food and service are amazing. My boyfriend (a New Jersey native) is usually a tough judge when it comes to bagels but he swears by this place.

I was staying in New Orleans in the neighborhood for a work convention and decided to check out Flour Moon on our last morning there based on all the great reviews I read. Needless to say, I was not let down by anything as the Rosemary Breakfast Sandwich smashed and so did service from all the workers. As someone who's lived in New York for a long time, these bagels met all my expectations. They have a very spacious patio which I imagine would be quite busy when there's better weather outdoors. Highly recommend anyone who's visiting or doing their research to check out this spot!

This is a proper New York style bagel. They have the chewiness sooooo many bagels lack. If you are a picky bagel person this is THE spot. Tons of vegan options. Monty’s vegan cream cheese is fantastic. On the weekend order ahead since this place gets busy!

Workers are kind quick and enthusiastic, the presentation is adorable, and food is exactly what you would expect based on reviews, instagram, and creativity with the menu. Will 100% be coming back. Hot salmon sandwich was good although I could have used more mustard seed spread and a stronger taste to the pickled cabbage but that’s probably just a personal preference!! So good regardless. There are definitely some options on the menu that I was like dang! I wish they were vegetarian and I guess I could have asked if there could be a discount to remove meat or salmon products but I didn’t so that’s totally on me. Busy bagel shop just south of mid city, they specialize in sandwiches and tartiness. Honestly not sure the difference other than the later is served open faced? The 1st time I came in the early afternoon to sweat it out with the rest of the late risers. The line was out the door but moved fairly quickly. There's a good brewery next door, don't be afraid to grab a drink while you wait. We kind of went crazy with our order as we were hungry and everything looked good. Ended up with a lox and whitefish sandwiches, a roast beef and their special tartine that day. Did have the roast beef but I know everything else was damn good. The special was on a sesame with a shrimp and crab salad with sliced radishes and some other goodness I don't remember. The lox was smokey, and sweet and briney. It hit all the notes. The bagel themselves were really good too. I'm not sure I've had an everything bagel with fennel, but it wasn't overwhelming and added an interesting note. My only complaints were that my bagel was slightly soggy. That was one juicy tomato on my whitefish sandwich, but the shrimp salad was a little wet/loose. I rectified that on my second visit by just getting an everything with cream cheese. They're not cheap though, so this may be more a special occasion than a normal stop whenever I visit.

We went to eat during lunch time and the staff has been so welcoming from the begin to the end. The food was good and was surprise how this place it’s great to have kids with their table outside. We ask for an extra during our lunch and they gave it to us without a charge. Thank you for the kindness and the good food

Amazing bagels!! The classic breakfast sandwich was the perfect start to my morning and the chili crisp mayo added the perfect touch. Can’t wait to try their other bagels!

Had a plain bagel, which had a light sea salt laying, which was really exceptional. Great coffee, and exceptional service, such a friendly staff, some of the best in the whole city. Some friendly smiles really go a long way. And super cool coffee cups, reminds me of those cups I used to get while getting coffee in Manhattan. It's a vibe here, and a dollar cheaper for coffee and a bagel than anywhere else.

So happy to have this place in my neighborhood. Large outdoor dining area. The rosemary sea salt is my all time fave. Do yourself a favor and try the specials of the day. Breakfast sandwiches hit the spot and good coffee/juice selection. They offer a loyalty card for returning patrons

Very cute little cafe. The servers were so kind and accommodating. I wish I could eat the bluebird sandwich everyday for the rest of my life.

Amazing bagels, amazing vibes, just make sure to get there early on the weekends to avoid long lines but it usually doesn't take too long. Also don't forget to ask what the special of the day is!

What is wrong with the cream cheese?? It tastes mealy and sandy. Literally the best bagel in town but they mess up on the cream cheese? So frustrating because the bagels are fantastic but every flavor of cream cheese is gross I think they batch it and freeze it which makes the texture change. - hi jeff thanks for the reply, it was a few weeks ago, maybe it was just a bad day for the cream cheese zone or maybe i just hate the texture of whipped cream cheese - i used to just get plain from yall because it was normal but it was weird that day too. I appreciate your dedication to quality control and I will come back and try again because the bagels are superb.

I come here all the time! Absolutely love the bagels here. Closest I’ve found to NYC. The rosemary salt bagel is my favorite and I also love the caper dill cream cheese. Pretty good cold brew coffee as well. Don’t miss out on their weekend specials!

We stayed for a few days in the city of New Orleans and this shop became our daily habit! The bagels were all great! Whatever we got was very tasty! The staff was very friendly and helpful! There are table seats inside as well as outside! We found parking around the shop! It is worth visiting and trying the bagels!

Today was the first time I came to this shop and it will not be the last. I had a poppyseed bagel with lox, cream cheese, and cucumber, and yall. This bagel reminded me of why I love bagels. The staff were very helpful and accomodating and the vibes were very laid back!

From the ambience to the staff to the food this place is five stars across the board. They have something interesting and tasty for all types of dietary needs and will not cease to surprise and amaze you with the combinations of flavors they pair. Five stars across the board all day everyday.

Always a pleasant experience. Great outdoor seating, and delicious bagels. It is usually very crowded, but staff work hard to get orders out quick.

Love coming here their bagels and sandwiches are delicious. They have a great patio seating area as well as seating inside. This last time I went I got the rosemary and salt bagel with bacon egg and cheese, it was delicious. I also tried the bialy bagel just by itself, it was fluffy, chewy, and stuffed with cooked down onions and poppy seeds.

I recently found out I was pregnant and have been having the pregnancy cravings of a bagel of some sort. I came upon this bagel shop and was not disappointed. The bagel with the turkey, blueberry jam, jalapeño cream cheese is the best thing ever! My husband loves his roast beef bagel as well. I will probably be back at least twice a week until my cravings go away 🤣🤣🤣🤣 soooo good.

We stopped by and enjoyed a lovely breakfast with our family. The staff was so kind and helpful and the food delicious! We are visiting from out of town and they even shared their local favorites for us to check out this week!

Absolutely delicious tartine and bagel sandwich! All the staff were incredibly nice. Free samples of prosecco mimosas while waiting in line. Be prepared for a wait, but there is shade and a coffee shop around the corner. 10/10 recommend.

First off, the butter is out of this world. It’s a bit busy and limited seating. Also on the pricier side for bagels. But quality was 10/10 and the staff was friendly.

Recently indulged in the hot salmon breakfast bagel at Flour Moon Bagel, and it was a delightful experience! The flavors were on point, and I especially enjoyed pairing it with the Sirius Raising alcoholic drink. The combination elevated my brunch to another level. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere added to the positive vibes. Definitely recommend trying this spot!

My family loves these bagels! Flour Moon makes a light perfectly chewy bagel that is perfectly crispy when toasted. We have ordered many times and have always gotten the same delicious quality!

My favorite place for breakfast when I’m in town. Their sandwiches are *literally* the best in the business. I just ate one and I want to go eat another right now. Start with the classic, add bacon and sausage if you want, and enjoy the happiness. Oh, can’t go wrong with any of the bagels. I chose the everything but rosemary sea salt is great too.

Some of the BEST bagels in the city. I don’t even need a New York bagel to tell me that! Been a regular since they opened and have never had a bad experience! Had one bagel with cream cheese they had no problem cutting it then bringing it to the table I had. Then I went to order another bagel because I had cream cheese left over and when I ordered the bagel they told me they couldn’t have it sliced because they couldn’t send it to the kitchen to be sliced if there wasn’t also cream cheese ordered with it (?????????) very odd and asinine… I’ll be going to the nearby Panera instead where they slice and toast your bagel everytime you order it.

I was very excited when my out-of-town friends suggested we try Flour Moon Bagels because I had been following them on Instagram for a while. We visited on the morning of January 15. When we made it inside, my friend and I were chatting. My friend must've been blocking the door unintentionally because a staffer in an Arturo Gatti jacket moved him out of the way and said "I need to pass." We chalked this rudeness up to the guy having a bad day and stayed in line. When we made it to the register, our party ordered items we saw on the website. The cashier (wearing a tan Pelicans hat) told us the website was outdated and was very impatient with us having to look at the menu. However, the worst part of my horrible experience was as I was going to my seat, the cashier told the customer behind me that they were especially busy today because it was a "pseudo-holiday." MLK Day is a pseudo holiday. The holiday may be "pseudo," but the microaggressions and abysmal customer service were very real.

Phenomenal! We go here every few weeks, usually on a Saturday/Sunday. The classic breakfast sandwich is so, so good - one of the best hangover cures in the city. The staff is great and even when the line is long, it moves fast. Highly recommend.

Flour Moon is a dream! been a fan since their pop up days at Coffee Science and v #blessed that their first brick and mortar is a quick walk or bike ride down the street from my house. I’m originally from New Jersey and my first job was at a bagel shop, so my standard is thru the roof… recently re-tried other spots in town and honestly nothing even comes close anymore. this is the best in town and some of the best I’ve ever had. & customer service is outstanding 🥯

I can't rate the food as we left before eating but it does look lovely. We are in New Orleans on holiday and popped in as we were walking past. The venue layout is such that the queue crosses past the door. We had just got in and were a little flustered trying to fit into the space and find a menu when a staff member barked at us to not block the door and then barged past us. Perhaps he was stressed and yes we were in the wrong place but we were so embarassed and honestly quite upset at the tone, we didn't feel welcome anymore so we left. I understsnd people have off days and it was a busy saturday but perhaps that same understanding could be extended to a couple of tourists who have just popped in from the cold? It may also be useful to create a better queuing structure in future.

My daughter and I had the breakfast bagel with the homemade sausage on the everything bagel with a side of blueberry jam and we ordered the bluebird on the salt and rosemary bagel along with a Bloody Mary to go for my husband. No complaints. Everything was delicious. I'll be back!

Stopped here for two breakfasts during my visit to Nola. They serve unique and delicious bagel sandwiches and tartines (open-faced) using super tasty bagels and fresh ingredients. The harvest moon tartine and everything pumpernickel bagel were divine! Staff are very friendly and there's lots of covered patio space as well as cozy indoor seating. Highly recommend!!

I would leave 7 stars if i could. This place is certainly the best bagel, probably the best breakfast, and possible the best restaurant in the entire city. The breakfast sandwich with housemade sausage patty was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. I will certainly be back...most likely tomorrow. This is place is a problem (in the best way possible).

Great bagels! Just wish there was more selection (of everything). Not many cream cheese options or bagel options. I paid similar prices in midtown NYC as well which was surprising, but not a big deal. Whatever you get though will taste good

I am visiting the New Orleans area and was recommended Flour Moon Bagels. When I entered, I was kindly introduced the menu and given recommendations. I ordered the classic breakfast sandwich on pumpernickel and added bacon, and it was delicious! The inside area was clean and they also have a wonderful outdoor seating area that was definitely inviting and utilized. I am looking forward to returning!

So many wonderful options to choose from! Staff is very conscientious of food allergies to ensure a great experience. There is a variety of bagels to choose for the menu options, and it didn't seem like you could make a poor choice. Can't wait to come back and try more! Place was clean, inviting, cozy, and has a beautiful patio that's perfect for fur babies to tag along! Lots of off street parking available along the beautiful Lafitte Greenway!

Very pleasant and efficient staff, delicious bagels, and lovely space

The overall atmosphere and staff are nice. Unfortunately I ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese and there was practically no cream cheese on the bagel and the bagel was not toasted well. The wait was also 30 minutes which makes no sense for a bagel and cream cheese.

This place is awesome, the food is SO good, bagels are legit 👌 staff is friendly and it’s got a great vibe and outdoor patio that’s dog friendly. What more could you ask for ??

10/10 I don't say this lightly because I am a New Yorker and if we know anything it's a begel. These bagels are a marvel they are crisp on the outside and fluffy and airy on the inside. It was so good we came back the next day and we took the trolley. What more can I say, it's definitely worth checking.

Visiting from out of town and was brought here by a local. The bagels are spot-on. We tried multiple sandwiches and they were all delicious. I got some extra bagels and lox for the long drive home. Thanks for the memories.

Bagels slap harder than my Jewish grandmother in law

Bagels were good, but we waited over 30 mins for two bagels with cream cheese. Lots of employees standing around doing nothing. Great place if you just want somewhere to study or get work done with a decent sandwich and aren’t in a rush to get anywhere, but expect a very long wait, especially on weekends.

I passed by the place while biking to the botanical gardens and decided to come back the next day to check it out. I was not dissatisfied. The bagels were chewy and fluffy and had a great crust. The egg and cheese bagel was delicious with the spicy mayo and the other bagel was a work of art. I even bought 2 bagels to take home. Iced coffee was pretty good too.

TOAST YOUR BAGELS I went here twice in a week and both times when I asked for the bagel to be toasted I ate what felt like a raw bagel. This place doesn’t allow for ANY substitutions on practically all of their bagels. With that bagels were ok and the music inside was good

Flour moon catered our brunch the day after our wedding and it was amazing. They were so flexible, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. Even our guests from NY loved the bagels. Thanks, flour moon!!!

Independent bagel place with really tasty bagels. The breakfast sandwich was filling and tasty. A nice amount of spice. The ambiance is nice on the patio (shaded). Service was friendly. A bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the walk/effort.

Surprisingly good bagels - this is coming from a native New Yorker. Thin crispy outer edge but perfectly chewy and dense when you bite. I had my doubts especially after waiting at least 20-30 minutes this past Sunday morning but it was well worth it. Ask for the specials first - wasn’t aware of their cheddar onion and caramelized onion bagel…. But wasn’t disappointed with the everything bagel at all. Would definitely get again. Got the breakfast sandwich with tomato. Cold brew was very good. Oat milk, cream and sweetener by the register. Quite a few seats by the bar and tables inside, lots of tables outside if weather permits! Punch card for breakfast sandwiches makes a killer deal. Good vibes, personable service. Definitely will stop by when nearby!!

I catered a bunch of bagels and coffee from here and it was a seamless experience! Everyone loved the bagels and coffee and the employees were super helpful and friendly. Bagels were sliced and they gave us whole and oat milk which was such a plus! Definitely recommend!

I met a friend here for coffee when I was home in May and I just need the staff to know I’m making a Dirty London Fog iced latte with lavender simple syrup in my apartment in Norway this morning because I’m still craving them 3 months later. Also their bagels and cream cheese were excellent.

Really enjoyed our breakfast experience at Flour Moon. We hit it at just the right time, and there was no line! I enjoyed the lax on a sea salt bagel, and my coworker a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Everything was AMAZING, and he's from New York so picky about bagels :-) The coffee was also great, and from the shop next door, I appreciate local businesses supporting each other.
