My server was awesome. Everything on the menu looked so appetizing, it was hard to decide. Get the Pastrami on Rye! You will not be disappointed. The sausage and pepper sandwich was good. Needed cheese, maybe swiss. Going back to try other tasty items on their menu

I think the food here is ok but not great. I would give it three and a half stars if I could but it’s average for the price. I really didn’t care much for the pepperoni pizza. I thought the sauce was mediocre. I like the location and it has a good vibe. It’s isn’t the best and it isn’t the worst.

The wings were good. Wish the super hot wings burned more 😁. Great selection of wings. My only issue was the side Caesar being on a plate instead of a bowl and it was quite small. The manager checked up on us, and I love that!!

Here on a weekend vacation with the family. There were plenty of options to choose from, but we chose here. The online menu selections were right up our craving and when we arrived, the atmosphere was just what we were hoping for. The drinks and appetizer we fantastic, but there was a hiccup with one of the entrees (no specifics needed). The rating would have been lower if it werent how our server (the bartender) and manager (owner?) handled the "hiccup". If we come back to this area, I would stop in again.

Maggie was a sweet person but that will only get you so far. During our ordering process, she made the comment that she had terrible handwriting and we all laughed it off. We didn't expect it to affect each of our orders. There were 7 in our party. We ordered stuffed mushrooms, cheese curds, and garlic balls. We got 2 out of 3 (the stuffed mushrooms were delicious!). We ordered 6 different entrees, only one came out correctly. When we told the server about it, she "corrected" it by charging us for the items she missed or rang in incorrectly, and then when we addressed that, she told us she was required to ring things in for the kitchen. That is fine, but we shouldn't have been charged for sauce on the appetizers that came with it, cheese whiz that comes with the philly style philly, and a veggie added to the calzone that was not ordered. We had 2 training servers in our party, and are usually extremely generous tippers. We would have been understanding if she had even mentioned that she was new, but she made the comment that she's been there "long enough". The food was good, we just wish we got what we ordered, especially for the price, $21 for a calzone, $23 for a 12 in pizza, $19 for a philly-- none of which came out correctly. The Alfredo pizza with mozzarella was the best- I'd just recommend ordering it to go and checking your food before leaving.

We visited for lunch on a Friday and was not busy at all. Parking is mostly behind the restaurant and on one side. The server (also was an owner I believe?) was super nice and had a bubbly personality. We chose the sausage and peppers sub and a hot club sandwich on a brioche. Both were very good. The bacon on my club was cooked perfect and crispy. The fries were good, but nothing special. Would love to see them offer thicker seasoned fries someday. Our iced teas were good - not instant tea like some places offer. I enjoyed our time here and will definitely go back, especially football season as they are a Buffalo Bills backer bar, too! The menu has a wide variety and pizza is a specialty of Fokkers.

My order of grilled wings was not cooked through completely, not much flavor to the stuffed mushrooms. Service was fast and friendly, the prices are ok considering it is a tourist area.

The chicken tenders and onion rings were great. The waitress handled our group of 10 people with precision expertise. Look forward to returning.

Found this place on Tripadvisor. I honestly was expecting it to be sort of a dive bar / seedy crowd / not a comfortable place to bring kids based solely on the name. My expectations were low. Totally exceeded my expectations. Totally fine for families. Our server said she was sort of new. Despite that, I still asked her what was good and she noted the calzones which was something we were considering. We tried it and it was amazing. Hard to explain but it was the bread that made it so good. I caught a glimpse of a pizza and its crust looked like is shared some of the same qualities. I bet the pizza is good too. The server did a wonderful job with us. Keep up the great work. Calzone was so good, we tried to go back for lunch the next day before leaving town but unfortunately, they were closed for lunch. Stange since they seem to have a big deli sandwich offering. Highly recommend the calzones.

Unfortunately the place looks dated and the Fish N Chips was a pricey disappointment. The fish was dry and over fried. The chips or French fries were cheap store bought soggy shoestring, not fresh cut. This time the reviews were way off! I would not return here, they just do not serve properly prepared fish and chips.

Run- don’t walk to eat here. Hands down some of the best food we’ve ever experienced anywhere. Ever. The service was great, the pizza, wings and meatballs were absolutely spectacular! Cannot believe it wasn’t busier inside with the number of wait lines we saw outside restaurants.

This was one of the worst food we ate during our trip to Fort Walton Beach. We were a party of 7 and everyone’s food was over cooked. Even the Chicken in salad was dry and over cooked. I ordered Fish & Chips, the fish was over fried and burned. The service was very slow as well. The owner was there and she’s a nice hostess, and was nice. She would so well by replacing the chef and evaluating the wait staff who initially gave us wrong allergy information and we almost walked out of the restaurant, we regret staying back.

Fantastic experience all around-great service and so tasty!!! Love the fried pickles and cheese curds-entrees were huge -thanks for a fantastic Fourth of July!!

We are here on vacation and were starving after a day at the aquarium and swimming. This is such a cute spot here in Fort Walton. The food and service were excellent! They weren't busy when we were there around 6pm but were told they get busy later in the evening. Highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak sandwich it was delicious!

My husband brought home wings for me. First the server forgot to put the order in. When we did get the wings they were pink and very undercooked. I called the restaurant, the server apologized and was very kind, and offered to take my number for the owner to call. He never bothered. My husband had a Rueben there once that had stinky rancid meat. The owner told him, "well that's how we prepare the meat." Since Fokkers has been under new management, the food is hit or miss. Even the salads vary in portion. I have given several chances hoping food will improved. It is overpriced and may or may not be good depending on what you order and how it is cooked that day. Owner will not bother to be apologetic.

My husband and I came to FWB for his birthday weekend, and we ate here the first night.. and let me tell you!!! The food was SO good. We had the cheese curds and garlic parmesan wings as appetizers, then for dinner he had the calzone (which was HUGE), and I ordered a personal pizza. All of the food was delicious. The server was great, always checked on us. The piano/singer they had that night was a nice addition as background music too. I definitely recommend this place!

I was very excited to find a legitimate beef on weck served by a Buffalo native. All the better is that both the beef and the rolls are made in house. We had the meatball appetizer and the cheese curds and both were a hit with the group. The bartender was super friendly and helped us out of towners plan part of our visit.

June 2024 Update: We visited on Father's Day for brunch. It was busy, but no wait for a table. My husband opted for lunch with a Philly Cheesesteak with fries. He really enjoyed it. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. I was very happy with the portion size. The egg was hard poached (no runny yolk), which I liked. The breakfast potatoes were very good. I would have liked just a little more hollandaise, but I was very satisfied. We visited on a busy Saturday night. Although they were short staffed, we only knew because they told us. Our waitress was attentive, our food was delicious, and it all came to us quickly. We were a party of three. We ordered cheese curds to start. They were hot and delicious. We had wings, The Slob (minus mustard) and The Fokkers Clun (sub American cheese) on Rye. We all enjoyed our entrees. Overall great proce for delicious food, and we saw a number of additional menu items we'd love to try.

This was a really pleasant surprise. I was kind of shocked it wasn’t busier because the food was really tasty and the staff was super friendly. It gives a dive bar feel for sure but the menu was a nice break from seafood every night and everything we ordered was very good. The fried cheese curds may have been the best I ever tasted! The only knock, and probably a reason there was not a huge local presence, it is not especially cheap.

This is a local place that is so much better than the big chains. The owner was so nice and accommodating for our large group. The food is excellent. I had the roast beef on wenk which is made in house. Tasty beef without a single chewy stringy piece. The bun was fresh with the taste of home made bread. All the staff are very friendly. Our last night here and the best food and experience of the week!

Alaina our server was exceptional! Being from Wisconsin originally, I can say, the cheese curds were as good as back home!! We also had the sausage stuffed mushrooms which were very good. Main course was the schnitzel which I felt was very good. Wife had a burger....she said it was excellent! Overall great food at a fair price....we will be back!

This was terrible. I saw it online and it sounded pretty good. We got the pretzel appetizer and it was awful. We could not finish. He got the Philly Steak sandwich. He did not finish it either. I got the Hoosier Style Pork tenderloin. Very disappointed. I had these in Indiana and was excited when I seen it on the menu. Not even close. Did not finish it either. Worst meal we had while visiting!!

It’s a bar. Meh. The food wasn’t great. Didn’t leave me wanting more. Didn’t make me fell like I got what I paid for. The following night I went to Cowhead across the street. Much much much better burger. Save the time and money and cross the street.

What an amazing little place. My husband and I were down in Destin for a few days and came here for dinner. Paula our server was great, friendly, gave us suggestions for food and beer, wasn't overly oppressive and just so pleasant. Before coming we had no idea this was a Buffalo Bills Bar...I saw they had Labatt blue and a box of Josh's jags on the counter..more I looked around more Bills things I saw, so when I asked her if this was a Bills backer bar..she said omgosh yes..and after games I can't hear for weeks from yoru people. The owner ( I think..he was also very friendly) asked how the food was, told him I was pleasantly surprised how good my beef on weck was, he looked perplexed until I told him I'm from NF...and hard to please when comes to these, pizza and wings...he totally understood. This sandwich was amazing..almost better than the ones from anchor bar down in the south..100% I would tell anyone from the Western NY area to come to Fokkers for a great beef on weck(and pizza, hubs said was also amazing), amazing customer service and al around great atmosphere 15 out 10 for everything

Great food and cold beer, just like being back in New York State without the snow. Very good pizza, excellent garlic bites, and the dessert was excellent. Customer service was the best I've found in Florida yet. Customer satisfaction and hospitality are some of the most important things to them. It's a great little New York style sports bar and has something for the entire family.

We were in town for a soccer tournament. Jud was able to accommodate our party of 45+ for our team dinner. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our party, which included several energetic kids. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that everyone had everything they needed throughout the meal. The menu offered a fantastic variety of options to suit every taste, and the food was great! Our party had a wonderful time, and I am grateful to Jud and Julie for making our gathering such a memorable and enjoyable occasion. I highly recommend this locally owned gem to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience with exceptional service. It was Fokking great!

Paula fixed my hangover like a champ! Will 100% be coming back.

The wings are on point. If they don't already, I simply forgot to ask, they should have a quantity of nuclear wings challenge or even just bottle it to sell it. It's very good on flavor and has a nice creeping heat! I will be returning.

The food here is high quality. There were five in our party. We got a pizza , meat sub and chicken Parm sub. It was all delicious and I think we'd order any one again. The meat balls were very unique juicy and the best I've ever tasted. The mozzarella was obviously high quality. The owner and a couple of waitresses checked on us. It's definitely on our list of places to return to when we visit the beach again.

Great food and service and great beer selection

I had white pizza with extra cheese and green peppers (see picture). My husband has meatball calzone. It was delicious. The place came highly recommended. I’m glad we stopped.

The owner is a true New Yorker! His pizza and cheese steaks are the best I have had in a long time in Florida! It is hard to duplicate NY style and thin crust pizza here in Florida but he has done it! And this transplanted New Yorker has eaten many pizzas from all over in Florida and this is the best I have had in a long time! So… if you want good pizza, food and atmosphere go to Fokkers! You won’t regret it!!!

We’ve been coming to this area the last few years, but this is our first time at Fokker’s. I really wish we would’ve discovered it sooner. What a fabulous place. We were greeted by staff and the owner before we even walked inside. Once inside we saw a very welcoming bar area, which is where we like to sit. There is seating for families too though. Sean, the bartender chatted with us and made us feel very welcome. Paula was also amazing. Both of them are so nice and friendly!! The menu is huge and honestly, it was very hard to decide on what to get. I went with my favorite, chicken Parm sandwich. My husband got the French dip. These both were absolutely amazing! The chicken Parm sandwich was so huge, I ate it with a fork. We met the owners Jud and Julie, and they were extremely nice. Honestly, it felt like we’ve known all of the staff forever. We’re very social people, but it’s rare to get this kind of hospitality traveling at times. Some places treat you like “tourists.” Fokker’s definitely treats you like a local. We’ve found our new favorite place here in Fort Walton. Check this place out!!

Awesome local restaurant in Fort Walton Florida. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. The food is phenomenal. The staff is friendly and attentive. We highly recommend Fokker's for anyone in town.

👥 Party of 30+ received great service! Lots of great bar food, pizza, and wings. Female server was very sweet and caring. Suprisingly, no auto-gratuity was added to checks. We still tipped well because she did awesome and deserved it. (Take note A.J.) Stuffed Mushrooms were original and made from scratch. Pretzels are giant and tasty. Pizza is good - quality toppings/meats. Wings are big. Only critique might be that pizza sauce and toppings need to cover the pie to the edge a little more. Minor detail. Food came out quick. Drinks were refilled promptly, and we didn't have to wait long for the next beer. Definitely has the pub feel, good atmosphere. I noticed the owner, or a manager, checking on customers, which is always a good sign. Job well done!

Just try to place a pick up order for one pizza. And the lady first said 35 minutes then told me 45 minutes. I said that was fine that I can wait that we're not even in town yet. Then another girl gets on the phone and says they just had a party of about 75 and it looks like my orders just not going to happen in those words. Not trying to be a keyboard Warrior or anything and I understand you are backing up You're employees, but the communication last night was completely unprofessional. And I've been to your restaurant before and I've met you and shook your hand before Even back when you were located behind Kcs. I am a local and not a tourist. And I do understand you guys were busy. There was no rush on this once So ever. There was definitely a better way of handling this. But I'm fine now, so have a nice day. Fantastic little gem! We have gone there 3 times now and each time the food and service is fantastic! Highly recommend the chicken parm sandwich (it's giant) and the philly cheese steak! It says a lot about a restaurant when the owner personally checks on each guest to make sure they are enjoying their food! Oh and everything is priced reasonable. Thank you for the great food and service!!!

Don’t let this place fool you by looks. It’s almost got a hole in the wall vibe and it’s a good one! we absolutely loved the food and our server was super friendly. Had the garlic balls & cheese curds for an app. so delicious. Son ordered the ribeye and he said it was best steak he has had. Wings, philly cheesesteak, tenders, French dip all very delicious!

It’s always crowded, mostly full of drunk gen x white people, likely going on about how they drank from a garden hose back in the good old days. . . The beer selection sucks and what they do have tastes bad. I’m not a fan of their food either

When we finally got our pizzas the waitress said there was a malfunction with the order entry machine, but we saw 3 other tables who came in after us get there pizzas in a timely manner. I think our waitress forgot to put our order in!! She could tell we were not happy and avoided us the rest of the time. The manager did come out and apologized stating she had 3 new waitress she was training. Also said she would compensate for the long long wait. Well she gave us the military discount! Which came to $8 off! Would have expected a free appetizer or a better discount on a $22 and a $35 pizza!! We had 4 alcoholic drinks, two appetizers and 2 pizzas. This was our first time in since the new owners. The menu is the exact menu from the original owners.The pizza crust is not the same! We will not be going back!

I went here with a group of friends after work to grab a beer. The place had a good vibe and all the staff were very welcoming. Service was very good as was the food and drink. Struck up a conversation with the owner and found him to be very friendly. Overall a place I would recommend for some good food and a cold beer. I will be visiting again in the future.

First time discovering this place. For a late afternoon lunch on a Sunday we found it pretty decent. Will be back. Food was good with decent hot wings. Server was very attendant and overall a good experience. The pizza was very good as well.

We enjoyed our lunch stop at Fokker's Pub. My husband had a corned beef on marbled rye and I chose blackened wings - dry - flats only. Very delicious! And our server, Kara, was attentive and wonderful. Thank you all at Fokker's for a terrific experience.

Lets just say its FINGER LICKING GOOD & the service was great!!! The live band was AHMAZING and the atmosphere was just what I needed after a long day. Did I mention that the food portions were very hefty & affordable!? 10/10 ….HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

The food was excellent, there were 5 of us eating there and everyone enjoyed their meal. We went on a Tuesday and apparently they have a live band every Tuesday which provided for a great atmosphere. As a person of German descent I enjoyed the German beer they had on tap. The 1st time I went there I had the Fokker's classic pork schnitzel, this time I had their Reuben sandwich, both were excellent 😁

Visiting from Saint Petersburg, my friends in Sant Rosa Beach were looking for someplace to eat and have a few drinks. I saw an advertisement for Fokkers Pub, home of the mother Fokker, lol! I thought that with this play on words, I'd check it out online. The menu sounded really good, and I hoped to get a T-shirt. So we set off on a 45 drive with good expectations. First off, the address on Google is incorrect, and we passed it. I hit the directions button, and we made it there finally. Walked in, and we were greeted by a busy server who told us to sit anywhere. Wanted to sit at the bar, but it was full of regulars. No biggie, say at a table. 5 minutes later, the server came and presented menus. 21 minutes later, a new server, Ashley, came over and took our drink order. She took our food order as well and came back with water. After another 7 minutes, we watched our beer sit at the server station, We had been there for over half an hour and just got our 1st beer. Our server brought our food shortly after this. 2 of us ordered the beef on weck. It did not come with au jus, so we asked for some. She promptly brought it, and with only half our beers gone, we decided we better order another one with how long it took previously. We were almost done with our meal, and Ashley came over and apologized for the delay stating the bartender was getting our beer next. The bartender was not even anywhere to be seen, and when she got back, she was visiting with the locals. It had now been an hour, and we were done eating and did not have our 2nd beer. Although drinks were flowing at the bar for everyone sitting in front of the bartender. We told our server we just wanted the bill and skipped the beers. Received the bill and saw we had an upcharge for 3 -3oz souffle cups of au jus at $2.00 each. So, a $17.99 beef on weck was now 19.99. Reviewing the menu, their French dip was $16.99 and came with Au Jus. Very disappointed and they didn't have t-shirts to buy. I guess all the reviews are regulars and get great treatment. I'm not faulting Ashley she did a great job and was attentive. But I hope she doesn't have to tip share with that angry, inefficient bartender because she doesn't deserve a dime. How hard is it to open a beer bottle and pour a draft beer? Off my soapbox now.

Great Pizza! On a long road trip and just wanted to eat in. Ordered a large thin crust pizza with several toppings and grilled wings. It was a Friday night so we knew it would be busy. A Paula checked the timing so that we didn’t have to wait too long. Less than 40 minutes… great! Very considerate staff.

They had a full house because there was a house band playing, but they only had 2 servers working. I wish I could remember her name but she was a big girl, brunette, glasses and a great smile. Anyway, she was busting her butt keeping up with her customers and doing a great job. We decided to sit at the tables outside. The Schnitzel was pretty good & the Erdinger beer was awesome. All in all, we had a good time. The parking was atrocious but we left pretty satisfied.

It was my first time there. Kara is amazing! She’s very attentive and friendly. Excellent service. The food and drinks were great also. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We were part of a wedding party and went there after rehearsal. The atmosphere is great but the service at our booth was horrible!! The waitress took the drink orders..I requested water.. after all at the table were finished with their beverages I was still waiting for water..I asked a second waitress... nothing.. finally... my grandson went to the long table and got some out of one of their pitcher and 10 minutes later we got a pitcher of water. My granddaughter..the bride to be... brought us the pizza with two slices missing because, once again, they took care of the long table and not the booths. We shared with the booth behind us because they are the brides parents!! Sad!! Finally we did get pizza from the actual waitress and the other food ordered. I realize it was a big party but how hard is it to add a glass of water to the tray? They knew we were coming..bad planning but we at least got to watch the football game. The pizza was not as tasteful as I had hoped it would be...I definitely would not return or recommend; especially a large group.

I absolutely loved this place. The owner is a great person. He created a Lox pizza that was phenomenal! He’s inventive, passionate and really personable. He came out to our table and talked to us about how we liked the pizza. Friendly staff, great service, great food!

Friendly service and the food was great.

Hubby and I were looking for a bar to eat dinner and watch sports. I am not a huge sports fan but walking in, you could feel the good energy. We had great service and the food was good too. They have a ton of TV screens so, no matter where you sit, you can see. Great sandwich selections. Food was hot and fresh. I would go here any time I want to watch sports, drink, and eat good food.

I stopped in here tonight to meet some friends and I can’t believe how good the pizza was! I found the crust to be the perfect balance between thin crust and regular pizza and it was chewy and flavorful! The ingredients tasted very fresh and high quality. I already can’t wait to order it again. The service was great, very friendly and they have a fun atmosphere with sports games playing on big screens. The draft beer selection was nice also. Will definitely be back for more pizza very soon!

Great place and great food. Has a great menu, something for everybody. Meatball calzone is the best! Great crew working there!! My new go to spot!!!

Old memories with good food and nice people

Dive bar with a rude old bartender who takes her time. Came to pick up an order and took 10-15 minutes to get her to take my money. She was rude and told someone else she’s gotta go deal with this guy (me) now. Regular Pizza crust under-cooked and doughy. Don’t know what happened to this joint in fwb
