Food was very good and waiter was good, but service (bar) was exceptionally slow. Atmosphere was subpar for the price. Good, but was expecting much more for the price. Just way over priced for the experience.

Me and my boyfriend walked in there and we were told that guys aren't allowed in there with tank tops if he could go change the shirt ... are u serious??? Women are ok to wear them but guys aren't? No thank you I will definitely go find somewhere else to eat !!! This is ridiculous,

To be a fine dining restaurant the menu was all over the place, I got fried green tomatoes but they tasted and looked freezer bought the salad that came with the meal was very skimp. The place being should have been a sign that it wasn’t good. But service and my drink was good. It’s nicely decorated but the menu could use some fixing and the food was 2/5.

Romantic atmosphere, great service,great food!

I recently dined at Sealand Restaurant in Fort Walton, Florida, and had an exceptional experience. I ordered the sautéed trigger fish with homemade toppings, and it was cooked to perfection with incredible flavor. This meal undoubtedly deserves a 5-star rating. Despite arriving a bit underdressed, we were warmly welcomed and treated with outstanding service throughout our visit. While the salad could use some improvement, the main course more than made up for it. Overall, Sealand Restaurant provided a fabulous dining experience that I highly recommend.

We are locals and had no idea this place existed! It’s a quiet place to sit down and enjoy top notch food. So many options to choose from and they are ALL good. We had a very great waiter, Justin. He was very informative and knew the menu well. Very attentive and kind. We will definitely be frequenting this place from now on! 10/10

My friend & I came in to have a nice seafood meal. The servers were very nice! We ordered & waited patiently til the escargot was served. The first bite tasted superb, however, the next was awful. I simply thought one bad snail, but I did not want to try another bite. Upon return The server ask why it was not eaten, I simply told the server that I thought one snail was bad, but I wasn’t sure about the others as I didn’t want to try them. She Remove the dish and inform The chef. To our shock and dismay, we were the end, escorted out of the restaurant! He refused to cook anything for us. I simply could not Believe his treatment.

My husband ordered the snapper and said it was the best he had ever had. I had the stuffed shrimp, very good. The service is excellent and the ambience was very nice. Relaxing jazz playing. Would definitely return!

Went here for a work outing. And it was a wonderful time. Excellent food. Crab legs were on point. Sake was also a swell choice.

We had drove by this place several times while in FWB. It looks like it would be a nicer dining spot based on the menu and outward appearance. I had read a mixed bag of reviews and decided to see for myself. My family and I arrived around 5 PM on a Wednesday evening. Upon entry the hostess looked at my kids and immediately said we don't have a kids menu. I guess that was supposed to be our cue to leave. I looked around and the place was completely empty aside from maybe two tables. I said to my SO let's get outta here they obviously don't want us to dine here. He said nah let's just see how it is. I think he just didn't want to go and wait at another busier place tbh. So she sat us in a booth near an unsightly stack of boxes that needed to be thrown away or was that just someone's idea of poor decorum?! Ok if you are going to try and weed out people from your so called high society restaurant make it look like one smh lmao. Because let's be honest, just because we brought our 2 toddlers and weren't dressed to the nines that particular day we generally spend more money eating out in 4 meals than that wanna be arrogant hostess makes in 1 month lol. My SO got the veal chop and it had canned mushrooms on top of it and said it was mid at best. I got the early bird special of grilled grouper that came with yellow rice and steamed veggies which were the frozen vegetable kind from Sam's Club. My kids got a side order of spaghetti which had canned sauce on it. We also got them an order of cheese sticks. Again these are nothing special just frozen with a side of canned marinara. None of the food was fresh or made with any kind of culinary essence. The ambiance of this place is also lacking. The food is on par to a greasy Greek diner type place you would see in the suburbs but without the false pretense of being a faux fancy restaurant that doesn't welcome kids lol. Maybe you should have the bus boy get rid of the clutter and crates and boxes lol if you want to fake being uppity. Next time we will spend our money elsewhere where we feel welcome and where the food is worth it!

Ribeye Steak was excellent. They only offer it with french fries that were just okay. I would have preferred the option of getting a baked potato. My wife got the salmon, which was good but came with saffron flavored rice, which neither of us cared for. Overall it was a good dining experience... and they did not automatically add the gratuity to the bill.

We looked on line and found this place. The hotel said the prime rib is very good. The 14oz was perfect..cooked medium well like I like it. Pink inside. Great flavor. One of the best prime rib I've had. The linguini with clams was awesome too. The French onion soup was close to Macy's onion soup years ago. The Ceasars salad with the homemade dressing was really good. And last but not least, the dessert was awesome. Even the fresh roses on the table were beautiful. Our waiter was very good.

Food was absolutely delicious we shared a steak and it was one of the best meals we had on our whole vacation!! Fancy restaurant and pricey but well worth it

My husband and I ate there last night while I had fettuccine he had appetizer of garlic butter prawns and a side of spinach steamed. He became sick a couple hours later and vomitting profusely. Hot / cold sweats and major headache. Great atmosphere and service other than food poisoning. FYI my fettuccine was excellent, wish I could say the same for my husband’s meal.

It is very romantic and quiet and proper like. You can make reservations, and I noticed little private areas

Had dinner last evening, with family & friends food was super average. I was disappointed Definitely better back in the day from what I remember. Bartender, maybe he’s a manager (Andrew) kind of rude. Only male servers.. I don’t think these owners have any knowledge, outside of the kitchen what is going on, which to me is kind of disappointing. I had the prime rib definitely not the best. Certainly would not recommend. Dessert (coconut cake) was delicious!! BUT…. Service by JUSTIN was some of the best in the Fort Walton!! Super kind, knowledgeable about the menu, had a smile on his face the entire night. Our glasses were always full. He was great. Super clean restaurant. Not sure I’ll be rushing back & sadly I’ve been eating here since I was pregnant with my now college age daughter, So, definitely disappointed but if I return, Justin will definitely be the server I’d want taking care of my family & I with his exceptional service!! He’s wonderful

Went here to celebrate a birthday. Great experience! Staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - we had mussels and clams as our appetizers. The menu had many gluten free and vegetarian dish options which we found helpful. Also a big wine and dessert selection. Will be going back! ☺️

Hidden gem that’s a very nice place for dinner. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the entrees, casual dress code, and the light jazz softly playing.

It was great dinner. The food and service were excellent. The gentleman taking care of us explained the backstory of the owner and name of the restaurant, which really added to the overall experience. Will definitely go back.

Was such a great experience for a first time visit. Justin was our server and he was so amazing. Gave us great recommendations, help us with options and made sure we were doing alright during the meal, checking in with how the food tasted. Everything tasted amazing (first time trying Escargot)

We stopped here because the restaurants we initially went to all had 45 minutes or more wait. So we drove and came across this restaurant that didn't seem to be too busy. It is a little more than what we cared to spend for evening dinner but we got seated fast, and food was delicious! Menu had a variety of options. And the desert was so delicious! They do not offer a kids menu, just fyi. We came in with 2 kids. I'd say this is more of a date night, business meeting, older family dining.

Three couples had an incredible dinner last evening. HUGE menu! Aaron was a great server and the food was amazing! Peaceful atmosphere! We enjoyed lobster, ravioli, scallops, trigger fish, and a seafood platter. The salads and bread were delicious, as well. Top Shelf! We couldn’t pass up the desserts so we took them to go. Strawberry cake, key lime pie, cheesecake, and crème bruleé! Delicious!!!

This is one of the best restaurants in Fort Walton. It's definitely up there as a fine dining experience. They have a great selection of fresh fish dishes to choose from, all of them arriving well presented. The meat eaters aren't ignored. There is also a great selection of other dishes. If you like wine, then you are in for a treat. They have a large fine wine selection. Never disappoints.

The SEA and credit card processing fees are a total rip off/money grab. At minimum note both prominently on the menu. CC fee is a cost of doing business you freely agreed to. Do you think you'd have as much business if you were cash only? And taking it from a server's tip if not paid is simply wrong. How about I charge a fee for giving you the honor of hosting me?

Never noticed this place until I made a reservation on valentine's day. I could not have been any more blown away with regards to this amazing restaurant. The service was impeccable, the food was superior, but the memory will last forever! Amazing place.

Always a great experience. Appetizers for the table included crab claws, fried mushrooms, cheesesticks, and shrimp firecrackers. I had the filet and lobster for my entree. I cannot wait to try more of the menu.

This is one of our favorites for special occasions such as our anniversary. Service is beyond compare; menu is extensive with everything imaginable. Atmosphere is great for a romantic night out The Prime Rib melted in our mouth. Extensive wine list, but we do not imbibe. My first time ordering Noi's Favorite with a fried soft shell crab on top of the fish. All of the dish was great, except when I got to the body of the crab the crust came off and a grey mushy substance was in the body. It did not look appetizing and so I at none of the body except a bite or two of the crispy coating. I have decide Soft Shell Crab is not for me and I will never order it again. The fish and topping were really good. The Creme Brulee Trio was good, but the carmel was the best. The Bread pudding was excellent. We will be coming again!

We had the steak for the early bird dinner on Saturday evening. Everything was delicious but my steak was tough. That is my one and only complaint, but my friends said theirs were fine. I would definitely return.

Don’t even waste your time. The service and attitude here will ruin your meal. And the food is not worth the hassle. Plenty of other places in town that are a much more enjoyable experience!

It does not go unrecognized the sacrifice that everyone had to make on their own Thanksgiving to make such an immaculate buffet for travelers. Thank you Sealands, you were the perfect host for Thanksgiving.

This was our first visit to sealand restaurant on Christmas Day. We chose to go because they had a Christmas buffet on Christmas Day and we did not have to cook at home. The food was absolutely lovely! The weight staff was very accommodating and helpful. The food was just amazing. Everything available? All at the buffet was a plethora of shrimp roast beef, turkey dressing and gravy marinated mushrooms. There was also a salad bar with lovely fresh greens and delicious seasonings there was are also with red velvet cake, chocolate covered salted caramels, pecan pie, brownies and blueberry pie!

What a delight on New Years Eve. The food was wonderful and they gifted us new Years good luck quiche to take home with us. My husband had veal oscar and thought it was very good. I had heart smart which is spaghetti with baked fish. I have ever had spaghetti with fish, so it intrigued me. It was so good. I will order that again. I also tried the sample 3 cream Brulee. The ginger was surprising but a good combination. The chocolate with raspberries had really good flavor. My favorite was the strawberries on top.

Ordered Big Boss cut rib-eye medium rare, comes out and is chargrilled to the point it’s literally burnt, half the steak where it was burnt was well done. The waiter goes “cut into the other side, let’s see that” lol I’m not paying for a half of my $60 steak to be great… there was also very little taste to the steak on the side that was MR… so I opted out and didn’t even ask for a replacement… sat and watched my wife eat the seafood pasta (which was pretty good). Check comes out and they did absolutely nothing for us there, absolutely awful steak, drinks took 10 minutes, bad experience. Wouldn’t recommend. Definitely prefer Marina Cafe over this any day, won’t ever come back.

The service was great, the atmosphere was good, the salad and bread were good. But we ordered the blackened grouper and asked for a baked potato with just butter and sour cream but was told the potatoes were already made stuffed beforehand, so we got what came with the meal. We were served peas and carrots with rice and a thin piece of fish blacken with so much spice we couldn not tell what it was???!!! It was terrible, we couldn't eat it! When we told the waiter he came back and said it was suppose to be spicy??? So we paid $35 a plate for something we couldn't eat !! Never again!! No I would NOT recommend Sealand Restaurant !!!

The service was great 👍 the atmosphere was good 👍 The food was not good!! Our blackened grouper was so thin and covered in spices we could not tell what it was ??? The sides that came with it was rice and peas and carrots!!! And this cost $35 a plate!!?!? My child had spaghetti and she didn't even want to take it home to eat!!! Just go somewhere else!

I had my first experience with Sealand and it will be my last. While the scenery inside was very welcoming the food however was not. First I'll start off with the escargot. Rather plain tasting and the chewiness of flavorless gum. The Burgundy mushrooms were decent enough, but not for the $18 price tag. Then there was the mozzarella sticks. Not too bad, but how can you screw that up. Next we move on to the salad and soup sides. The salad seemed like nothing more than a bag salad from the grocery store. The ranch dressing was delicious on the salad so I give kudos there. The French onion soup on the other hand was just luke warm. I'm sure it sat for awhile due to the slow service from our waiter. My girlfriend and I finished the appetizers and waited around for 15 minutes before being checked on. The waiter thought we weren't done because there was still some food left. I'm sure 15 minutes should have gave a clue or at least check up if we were done. After the side soup and salad came the entrees. My girlfriend ordered the noi's favorite and I ordered the bone in ribeye. The noi's favorite seemed thrown together and lacking some kind of wow to justify the $59 price tag. The breading was soggy and the flavor was bland. Not appetizing at all. My ribeye had a description on the menu as "the juiciness exceptional". I am not sure how they interpret that, but we are definitely on different pages. $69 for what seemed like a previously frozen ribeye is not worth it. I liked the charred flavor, but was not tender at all. Then we come to the dessert. I ordered a "brownie" a la mode. It was more like a chocolate sponge cake. I was hoping for a brownie, but still the dessert was not awful. Lastly we finish off with the bill. I've paid to eat at many places and don't mind paying for food and service. My girlfriend did not see it fit to be billed for her entree. Was not worth the price and couldn't even stomach eating such a poorly created dish. She offered to even speak to the owner, which happens to be the cook, and they declined to even discuss the issues with the dish. We were still charged for the soup that came with it which was fine. On their bill there is also a mandatory 20% gratuity for the server. Again, I don't mind tipping 20%+ for great service, but our server was not up to standards of even a $5 tip. Though he seemed nice at times, he had a snide remark to make when asked if the rest of the food was ready. What should have been an hour to an hour and a half dinner turned into two and a half hours with his lack of attention to the table. From what I read from previous reviews this was not an isolated incident or just an off day. This restaurant feels as if it belongs on a restaurant rescue or something. Normally I give places a second chance and normally I don't care to write reviews, but this place was worthy of writing a review. I hope others will read this review and take warning of what their experience may look like. I also hope this review gets seen by the staff and maybe some changes could come. I never want to see a local business fail and hope for the best. Cheers to 2024.

Absolutely delightful fine dining experience. Every food item, appetizers, entrees, sides were on point. So were the drinks. The atmosphere was nice and the service attentive. We absolutely will be back.

The food is excellent. Very busy on a Saturday night . Service is excellent as well. A bit noisy in the main dining area, but much quieter in the smaller areas. Reservations recommended

Christmas Day. Family Buffet. I appreciate the hostess accommodating me as a walk-in when they were stacked with upcoming reservations to seat. This was $49, all you can eat. So delicious. Offerings included turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, of course (which is what I indulged in 👍) plus Oriental and seafood items and lots of sides to choose from. Bottled beers only, but plenty of imports to choose from. I tried the one my waiter, Justin, recommended. Delicious! With most every restaurant understandably closed for the holiday, this was a great blessing to the solo traveler - me. Thank you so much, Sealand staff. Merry Christmas! 🎄

Owner & manager are rude. Horrible to their customers. Even worse if you have children. Unprofessional. Their advertisements are misleading. I suspect a lot of the 4 & 5 star reviews are paid since their parking lot is usually pretty empty. I wonder what the owners will do when none of the locals want to come for dinner due to the belligerent chef/owner and his wife.

Fresh seafood, pleasant surroundings, attentive service. Best formal dining in FWB. Ask them how the restaurant got its name. I dare you to not cry!

We just ate there. The food was amazing however the service was absolutely horrible!! The waiter barely checked on us as well as messed up our order and then acted like it was our fault!!! He delivered our food then disappeared and never checked on us after that. After messing our order up it took almost 25 minutes to get the correct food out. My biggest problem is that a 20% gratuity was added. I would not have tipped that man 5 dollars for his service and I have left 200 dollar tips multiple times. So unbelievable that we were treated rhis way!!!!

This place should be renamed: “SeaBland” and I’ll explain why! My wife and I both ordered the stuffed fish w/vegetable medley and rice. The fish was dry with no seasoning as well as the vegetables. Rice was bland with no texture. We both told the waiter about the dry fish, vegetables and rice. He said, ‘Butter will take care of that’. WHAT??? Well, we were hungry so we just ate our meal. Waiter came back and asked if we wanted dessert of which we said, ‘No, we’re disappointed with what we had.’ He said, ‘I’ll mention that to the cook’, (who incidentally is the owner). Not to mention my wife noticing cases of wine piled next to the glass showcase of wines. Very “barn-like” atmosphere and the owner didn’t even come out to apologize or take something off the bill (which came to over $90.00). In summary, for a supposedly high class restaurant, this was nothing but low class and ignorance of bliss!!! Stay away at ALL costs!!!

I must say never judge a book by it's cover. This restaurant was a great last minute choice to go for by friend's birthday. Since we didn't have a reservation I was a little concerned but we were able to be seated right away. The food was awesome except for the bacon wrapped scallops. They were still good but a little tough and the Caesar salad was so huge and my first time with having bacon on it. Then the jazz music that was played really set the ambiance of the place. Overall I think it was a better choice than the restaurant that I had picked out to celebrate her birthday.

Favorite date night spot in town!! Prime rib is my husbands go to and it does not disappoint. I usually go with the grouper topped with crab meat, artichoke and capers and lemon sauce- so good! If you’re looking for an upscale restaurant or something different than fried fish baskets…sealand is where it’s at!

My wife, a couple of friends, and I ate dinner at this establishment Saturday 9 Sept 23. My wife ordered a Filet Mignon steak, Medium Well, Coconut Shrimp, and steak fries. She didn’t receive the coconut shrimp and her steak fries were soggy from the juice of her steak. She immediately notified our server and ask for some fresh fries and her coconut shrimp. He went back and forth for about 15-20 minutes and she never received either. She asked to speak to the manager and the manger refused to come speak with us. She was told she got what she ordered but didn’t like how it was plated. Never have I ever been to a restaurant and the manager refused to come speak to the patrons. My wife and I felt disrespected and unappreciated as a patron in this establishment. We have been in this area for over 30 years and this is a first. Lesson learned, never will we spend our hard earned money where we are not valued as a customer. We will be sure to share this experience with all our retired military friends in the area. Despite this terrible experience, our server was excellent and we did leave a tip for him.

We used to go here a coupe of nights a week while in Ft Walton on vacation. They doubled their price and changed baked potato to only rice and veggies were like frozen bag meal. So disappointed, went from our favorite restaurant to never going back.

It was very expensive to us. Prime rib $50 & pasta plates $25 & up. Big shrimp in my pasta but they were rubbery. The pasta itself was great. We didn't care for the bread. Service was great.

Wonderful experience and worth every penny although expensive! Server was great, food was amazing and the atmosphere was quiet and romantic. Full course meals. In fact so much we had 2 days of food left. Lighting was low and decor was nice.

It's rare that we eat in the same place twice on vacation, but we have thoroughly enjoyed every bite, and our service has been impeccable. I don't usually eat dessert, but I am in love with the ginger creme brulee. I don't have any photos because I cleaned my plate both days. Andrew is a fantastic server and remembered what we enjoyed the first time. Take your time and enjoy!

You'd think with the exuberant menu prices they could afford actual candles at tables instead of dollarstore ones, but if this isn't an indication of the mediocrity you'll find here, I don't know what is.

Very nice place, staff was very attentive and helpful. It was a nice upscale restaurant from the normal beach fare.

Went to eat on Super Bowl Sunday. They were closed. No sign on door . Had to call to find out they were going to be closed due to Game. Not everyone was at home watching the game. Poor communication about being closed. The last we ate there it was good. But likely won't be back any time soon. Update 5/10/23 We did go back. It is a great place to eat.

We left the restaurant. We did not know there was an dress code and the server seated us any way after we asked if we were OK to dine in. We were wearing flip flops from the beach. The patrons began to stare at us constantly with disgust. The prices on the menu were double what was online. We left and went to a kinder place and paid the same for the comfort and respect.

The food and service 5 star! I WILL be back!

This Restaurant is Trash. The Owner told me to tell my Mother (whom is deceased), when I was trying to get acknowledgment for my carry out. They were all rude & nobody was nice like they were prejudice. If I were to ever visit this place again it will not be to this Restaurant!!!! I am glad I did not pay 1 red cent to eat here. She is so lucky!!!!

Trash owner, trash service overall. I’m black.. I walked in and got treated as such.

Went to this restaurant with a friend. She wanted steak, and lobster for her birthday. We were dressed appropriately, some how we were not liked and escorted out. There was plenty of seating, the parking lot was wide open. It was after 7 pm. We were told reservations only. Nowhere on the marquee, or website does it say this.

Save your money. Go somewhere else, they will happily tell you to leave when you aren’t dressed to their “standard” totally unwelcoming environment, everyone working there seemed too stuck up.

My wife and I had the fettuccine Alfredo, which was excellent! My wife had fried green tomatoes she loved. The stuffed baked potato was awesome… went back following night again lol. Waiting staff was so nice!!!! Fettuccine again awesome! And chocolate cake sooo good. Wish we could go there more but heading home to Massachusetts tomorrow.

Great sit down dining, they claim casual but I felt out of place in my normal attire. Would recommend slacks and collars for dinner. Incredible menu would definitely recommend the loin chop, and the fried crab claws were amazing. Friendly service, our waiter had great recommendations and even put up with the 5&7 year old pickiness. Seems like a local hangout with bar seating and what seemed like regular locals. Pricer but worth the additional cost for sure.

If I could service ten stars, I would! The food was delicious. But the dessert wasn't as impressive. I was astounded that they were using paper place mats. The restaurant just didn't feel like a spot where you would drop $300 for dinner. But the food was worth it! The bar was quite nice as well.

This place was delicious. They service was perfect. They wouldn’t let my glass of water half way full before refilling and they cleared dirty dishes within seconds of finishing. I had the baked catch of the day which was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend and will be going back to try additional dishes. It is on the more expensive side so it should be visited on special occasions and the room we sat it was very loud with the large group next to us.

Amazing food. Great service and the most enormous wine list I have seen. Soupy paella was so flavourful. Highly recommend this restaurant

This is a very good restaurant. I would venture to say that this is the best fine dining in FWB. Beautiful dining room, professional waiter and the food was top-notch. We were on a long weekend trip to the beach and I'm very glad I found this place for our final night dinner. Highly recommend.

The menu variety is excellent and I have always been satisfied with anything I order at Sealand.

My wife and I got a good meal here. She was looking for prime rib (not smoked) it was hard to find in this neck of the woods. The prime rib was good it is reported, I had a trigger fish. No complaints at all, save there was no baked potato.

Dined there for Christmas buffet. Excellent food and top notch service

Ordered veal parmigiana. It was delicious. Had leftovers the next day. Excellent place to have a special evening.

Shared family Christmas Dinner there for the buffet. Awesome choices and lovely set up. The fruit selection that day was awesome. It was well planned. It was a bit pricey considering it was buffet and reservations were made. So it was hard to sit for a long time and get the $55 per head worth from a buffet. Maybe should have served Crab legs for that price. Or I'd suggest to make it a dinner plate price and only have a limited choice to choose from. Let people eat and leave. This would avoid large parties hanging out for long periods of time to get the worth from spending so much during the holidays on a meal. But... it was good. I didn't have to do dishes either.

We learned that Sealand's provides Christmas dinner. It was wonderful and they beer/wine selection was impressive. The service was outstanding!

Christmas buffet was 2nd to none. SO Good!

Absolutely amazing Thanksgiving buffet. The results does NOT have high chairs so unfortunately one of our party had to leave with the baby. Other than that, wonderful experience!

Great dinner as always. Super extensive menu, there is something for anyone.

We drove from Kansas City on Wednesday so we could have dinner for Thanksgiving with my buddy's father in law. ALL the food was incredibly good and the wait staff was over the top excellent. Planning on a return trip for next Thanksgiving. Compliments to the chef!!

We had a birthday dinner. The waiter was very attentive, but not intrusive. The atmosphere is great, good background music set low, lighting good. Not too dark, but complementary. The food is always good. I had mussels & class with garlic sauce, They always serve fresh bread with seasoned oil that is perfect. Main course was Steak & Salad with Crab Corn Bisque. We all tasted a variety of desserts and they were all delicious. We had a wonderful time. I always have.

Steak we ordered supposed to be medium rare but it was like never touched the grill!! Other then that was good!

Wonderful atmosphere, the Prime Rib was superb and the Coconut Cake topped with Gelato was to die for!
