Everything was excellent!! The waitresses are friendly and attentive. The place is super well decorated with screens to watch the game. Delicious food, reasonable portions and we didn't wait that long. I recommend it.

We were quickly seated as we walked in. Then we were left to rot. Then one of the young waitresses stopped by and we ordered a beer and a margarita. The beer came out fairly quickly, but the margarita took a little longer. Then we were left to rot some more. Then I finished my beer. We knew what we wanted to order, but the waitress never showed up to ask if we wanted to order or have another beer/drink. Our waitress was out of sight and we waited some more... Then we saw 2 young female waitresses talking to each other with their phones in their hands. That was enough. We got their attention by asking for the check. We were brought a check within a couple minutes with an automatic 18% tip. We paid for the drinks which were expensive and we left. I guess since there is a forced tip these girls do not care about giving good service. The place was dirty. There was mold growing on some of the old coasters. We will never go back. 🇺🇲

My wife has a medical issue and a heat problem and they did not let her inside during the Germany vs Spain game. Again, we didn't both need to be inside but she does have a medical problem. But whoever was at the door said no-go.

Very bad experience with the owner of the place himself, very unpleasant and very rude. How is it possible that they charge you an entrance fee when you have already been in the place consuming for 2 hours. He threatened us with the police in the middle of the game in the 30th minute that if we didn't go to the entrance to pay the entrance fee he would bring us to the police. We arrived at 4 pm and at 5 they started charging admission at the door and at 6:30 they came to threaten us that we had to go to the entrance immediately in the middle of the game. These are no ways to treat customers who are consuming in your bar. It was not only with me but with every person who was here.

The way the owner of the bar treated our group was incredibly disrespectful and out of line, and I'd like to call attention to it. This week I went in with a delegation part of the Department of State to watch the Copa America match Colombia vs Brazil and were seated at a table. When I asked the server if three more people could join later, he assured me he could bring an extra chair as we had two empty ones. Once they arrived, the owner yelled at me and our interpreter calling us "liars" when we said no more people were coming. I explained I had asked the server, so it must have been some kind of miscommunication. The owner continued in a belligerent tone saying "I'm the owner, and I make the rules." I told him calmly that we were there to have a good time, and that it was very disappointing the way he was raising his tone in front of the visitors for the whole bar to see. It left such a bad taste in everyone's mouth that our interpreter ended up leaving. I apologized on behalf of the owner's actions to the Africa delegation, and they agreed to stay to watch the game and not let the owner's behavior ruin the evening. Later we witnessed the owner use his whistle at other customers who entered the bar. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I had never felt disrespected at an establishment like I did this week. It's very unfortunate that a business owner treat his customers that way. Needless to say, I will never go back to Fritz & Franz again, and I've communicated our experience to the local organization that helps with programming for international visitors to not recommend it to future guests.

The worst service you will ever receive. They delayed an hour to bring a burger and instead of apologizing, the chef came to the table rude and arrogant, shouting and speaking rudely because that is the way he thinks he makes himself understood. The owner is not very different! I absolutely don’t recommend this place.

I had an unjustifably unpleasant interaction with the owner who was disrespectful and rude to me and members of my party. Being half-German, I was ashamed of his behavior and disappointed in the faux-German menu. Five European beers on tap is not impressive. What was impressive is how kind and efficient the servers were in such a chaotic setting. After witnessing the owner berate and insult other patrons, I cannot imagine why anyone would pay to be treated this way. There must be other places to watch football, and you would be wise to seek them out.

If I could give less than a star I would. Busy doesn’t excuse rudeness and arrogance on part of chef. Will not return again.

Yet another Miami scam. $4 for tiny water bottles, we were refused regular water. Should be illegal. $25 for a very normal burger and fries. Beware. $12 for a small/medium plastic cup of beer. Just sad and pathetic how many places have become like this. I hope people recognize and avoid. I would've come back plenty, but now? Absolutely never again.

Fritz & Franz Bierhaus is one of the best places to watch big soccer games. The atmosphere is electric, often feeling as vibrant as being in a stadium. Fans passionately root for their teams, singing, and sometimes even dancing on tables, especially when Argentina or Messi is playing. The beer selection is excellent, offering a variety of traditional German brews that are both refreshing and authentic. While I mostly enjoyed the beer, the food looked great and consisted of traditional German dishes that seemed to be very popular among other patrons. Service was impressive, considering the large crowds. The staff managed the busy environment well, using mobile payments to speed up transactions, which was a nice touch. At times, it took a bit for the waitress to come, but this was understandable given the number of tables. The atmosphere during the soccer games is fantastic, with numerous TVs both inside and outside, including a very large screen. This setup is clearly geared towards providing the best viewing experience for soccer fans. Seating arrangements can be a bit challenging. Inside gets very full quickly, pushing many people to sit outside. However, the outdoor seating area can be very sunny. I would recommend bringing sun protection or sitting under the palm trees for some relief. It would be great if there were more shaded areas, perhaps with something strung together on the trees to create more shade.

I usually don’t spend time reviewing businesses but the experience was so disappointing (twice) that I hope other people will avoid this place. Beer is expensive and served in plastic. Food is BAD, and water is 4$ because they don’t serve tap water. Coral Gables residents deserve better. The location is too good for such a poor service.

Reading the reviews here makes you realize how hard it is to please everyone. The Bierhaus has been an institution for all soccer fans in the area for many years, and handling the crowds of people swarming this place for events like the CL final last Saturday must be difficult! However, it always makes for a real good time! Keep up the great work, Harald + Bierhaus team!

I went to watch the last el clásico match on April 21st with my dad and a group of friends. I couldn’t get there prior to the start of the match, but my friends were already there and had reserved a section of a bench in front of the big screen inside the bar. It was the first time I took my dad to Fritz and I was excited to show him one of the most soccer friendly bars in town. I got to the place right before the start of the match and as I located my friends and was walking to the bench by the tv, a man stood right in front of me blocking my path. He sternly asked with whom I was with, so I proceeded to point to the group waving at me. I thought he was going to assist us in getting there through the crowd or give us the fastest route to the bench (the bar was packed), but instead, he told me I should get there earlier next time or he wouldn’t let me seat. I then realized, to my disbelief, that this was either the manager or owner. I felt frustrated to say the least, and wanted to tell him that the food at the establishment is not good or authentic, and that I would rather eat before coming into the bar than spend my money on a subpar hot dog or pretzel, but because I did not want to miss the match which was about to start and scramble to look for another bar in the area, I tried not to make a big deal out of it and nodded as I proceeded to walk to the bench. I don’t know on what power trip this guy is on or if he’s been left unchecked for too long, but that is NOT way to treat the patrons of your establishment. I will never set foot in here again, and if you ask me about Fritz and Franz and still want to visit after this review, I’d recommend you have a meal before visiting and to watch out for the rude owner.

Am very dissatisfied this establishment, while I went to the restroom and my husband waited for me to find a spot to sit and eat. When I came back I noticed my husband’s face of dissatisfaction all because Harald Neuweg while intoxicated decided to come up to my husband and proceeded to tell him you don’t belong here , that is a very racist comment to make my husband is American even if does not look like it. I will not be back to this place ever again we work in the area and have been coming here for quite sometime needless to say i feel bad for the employees that are all very nice and have deal with that type of boss. We left very disappointed , mad and hurt at those nasty comments. He should be an example being the owner.

Had the pleasure of going to Fritz yesterday for the big Arsenal game. House hold staple in the Gables. Vibes were on and beer was on. Francisco was my server. Despite the restaurant being busy, Francisco was very attentive and brought me my cold beers in mere minutes. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I had a huge night. Cheers !

Prices are a bit high for my taste but the service was excellent, great environment for EPL games; they add 18% tip already to the bill but the server informed me which was very nice. When in CG, I will definitely visit again.

Such a staple in our community. Always love coming with the whole family! A shame what the City of Coral Gables is doing! First not allowing them to host their outdoor events anymore (I mean Oktoberfest without F&F's epic outdoor area is pointless; same goes for Euro/World Cup). And now not renewing their lease! Shame!

Definitely a recommendation, I love the delicious food, kind service, and amazing atmosphere. It shows the tradition of a real German restaurant. They have a lot of great foods, but my personal favorite is the Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat, that Kartoffelsalat is so amazing and delicious! The beer is world class as well!
