Melissa made our wedding cake last month and it came out so perfect!! We asked for a colorful cake in the shape of a heart and it was so delicious. We also go a variety of cookies and they were a crowd favorite!! Would highly recommend Frosted Mermaid for your special occasion.

I can't say enough great things about Melissa and her goodies! I have done multiple cakes, cookies, brownies and the cheesecake jars and they have all been amazing. She is easy to work with, a great communicator and does exceptional work. Frosted Mermaid is part of our visit to Maui every time!

Melissa and Frosted Mermaid are the BEST! The Grand Wailea recommended them to me when I was scrambling to have dessert delivered to the hotel for my daughter's birthday. Boy did Melissa deliver! She delivered wonderful brownie bites and cupcakes to my daughter and her friends who devoured the tasty treats! Melissa saved the day and was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend her!

I got my wedding cake from here and it was absolutely amazing. It tasted fantastic, was so moist, and was beautiful! I sent her random inspiration pictures and told her I wanted something tropical and she made a cake better than anything I imagined. Pictures don’t do it justice. There was so much detail! Her pricing was reasonable especially compared to several bakeries in the area. Delivery was smooth and she’s easy to work with and responsive. Very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend her for cakes!

Most amazing POG Birthday cake & coconut lilikoi cupcakes ever! Wonderful customer service and peace of mind delivery to the trampoline park on the day of party. 7 yo son was super excited to see his superhero cake customized exactly to the theme he had dreamt up! The Frosted Mermaid exceeded all expectations! Will order again soon! Mahalo!!

This is the second time ordering from the Frosted Mermaid. From ordering to delivery Melissa was wonderful to work with!!!! Not to mention it was delicious, highly recommended.

We were on vacation and it was my daughter's birthday. Frosted Mermaid made her the most beautiful cake!! Melissa is so talented and really cared about what my daughter would want... Lots of candy!! AND on top of it all, it was delicious!! I highly recommend Frosted Mermaid!! :)

She has made my daughter's birthday cake 2 years in a row (was convinced I would be fired with how indecisive I was, but *phew* was not) Multiple people said her POG cake had the best mouth feel and flavor combinations of all previous cakes they tried. If you want HEAVEN in a jar, do not miss out on her Goat Cheese Cheesecake!

I would do zero stars if it let me. This women is a scam artist. We bought cupcakes for a baby shower and ended up spending 180$ for under 40 mini cupcakes and macaroons. 60$ delivery fee to come to very beginning of kapalua. Such a scam. 150$ for under 40 mini desserts was just absurd. Didn’t feed even half of my baby shower for almost 200$. Sad that people want to price gauge so extremely. Will not support this local business again, as the price was not worth the product. Man who dropped it off was rude as well.

A dear friend ordered a birthday cake from Frosted Mermaid, for my son's birthday while we were in Maui. So while I cannot comment on the ordering process, I can recommend Melissa & Frosted Mermaid for a delicious experience. My 9-year old asked for sea turtles on the cake, and for cookies & cream frosting in the cake. Melissa was able to thrill him with both. More impressively, however, was Melissa's ability to draw-in the adults of the group with the stunning visual of the cake, and a sugary treat that was sophisticated enough that we enjoyed the cake with our coffee the morning after the birthday. Melissa has a talent that will become both a delicious and memorable part of your time on Maui.

I totally recommended the Frosted Mermaid for all the amazing flavor combinations and the cupcake presentation was beautiful !!!. I ordered the Coconut Milk Cake with Lillikoi Frosting, the Guava Cake with POG Frosting, the Ube Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and Fruit tarts for a baby shower and talk about flavor explosion!!! The cupcakes lasted on the table for maybe two minutes before they were all gone .. The prices are reasonable and Melissa was so easy and friendly to work with .. She made everything perfect!! She was even willing to delivery them!! I will definitely be ordering from the Frosted Mermaid again for my next party…

Coming from Texas, I didn’t know what to expect. But mermaid cakes was prompt with communication and delivered the cake perfectly on time. Not only was the cake beautiful, it was delicious. I would highly recommend.

Melissa from Frosted Mermaid is amazing and a dream come true! We had her create some mini desserts for our wedding a few weeks ago in Lahaina and it was such a hit with our guests! All of the desserts matched our wedding colors and were super delicious. She is so great at reaching out and making sure you get exactly what you need, even down to the display of the desserts. I would hands down recommend if you want some delicious desserts for your event!

So i was in charge of the cake for our wedding and was recommended this place. Couldnt have had a better experience. They were very responsive, super nice, and showed me the budget for everything. They didnt try to oversell me, and recommended their smaller cake for 5 people which was more than enough for all of us. The cake came out beautifully and everyone absolutely loved the taste. Thank you all for making our wedding an even more pleasurable experience!

My favorite baker! She makes works of art worthy of being displayed at you next gathering. Her cakes, cupcakes, and other goodies taste even better than they look. Plus they are specialty made to match your needs. Highly recommend her for all your special occasions. She is as wonderful a human as she is a baker too. I'm also realizing I don't enough pictures of her amazing goodness.

I live on the mainland but my daughter lives on Maui. I ordered a bunch of sweet treats from the Frosted Mermaid for my daughter's 29th birthday and they were quite the hit. The Frosted Mermaid was very responsive and wonderful to work with... and even was able to deliver to a different address at the last minute. The treats were so yummy and made my daughter's birthday extra special. I will use this baker again. Highly recommended.
