We've been coming here since they opened. We mostly do take-out, which is what we did tonight. We have always come for the pizza rolls. I will say, it's been quite some time since we've been here, but thought we'd splurge. The difference in quality control (I guess...?) from the previous times to this time was vast. The pizza rolls come in a 12 piece. At least 1/2 of the 12 rolls had literally ONE slice of pepperoni. They were also extremely well done. I had to use a steak knife to eat mine. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and the zucchini fries. Those were fine. Basic, but tasty. Although, would have been better with more ranch and maybe keep the cold sauces away from the piping hot food would be my suggestion. Overall, just not really a good use of a chunk of our food budget. It's really hard to justify spending that kind of money to eat out, anymore.

Stopped in with the family for the first of what will surely be many times. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. If the hospitality was all we experienced, then it would still be 5 stars. But the food.... I'll be honest, we assumed that they would be a run of the mill little Pizza spot and we had zero expectations, but we were BLOWN AWAY! The food was absolutely phenomenal! Every bite l felt like time literally stopped as the vibrant flavors made their way through the senses... The best Italian meal we've had in years.. Hands down... I honestly couldn't believe it! and now, I can't recommend the place enough. From the outside, it's very unassuming. Don't let that fool you. The owners, Dawn, and Sal were so nice and welcoming they'll treat you as if you are guests in their own home. Their adorable little children were just as much of a delight and as much a part of running the operation as they were! My son went out and played catch with those kiddos while the food was being prepared. We all had smiles on our faces from the start of the experience, to the end! Absolutely fantastic! I’ve had Italian so many places, and this place by far is the best. Dawn can cook anything, she’s a true chef. I haven’t had one single thing here I didn’t love. The staff is friendly and personable and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend eating here.

I have to start this review with a little back story. My wife and her mother both own small, in-home daycares. Every summer they take their little ones on field trips to do fun things all summer long. Gabbie’s pizza is one of those adventures they do every year for no less than the last 10 years. When they called Gabbie’s this morning at 11am on the dot, they were met on the other end by the owner who immediately recognized who was calling. She remembered the order and specific details that we ask for. She accommodated every request and always makes our babies feel so special! Gabbie’s staff do a wonderful job getting us in and out in a timely fashion before the littles start crashing for nap! We can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in to truly make our little field trip to the Pavillion something special! Thank you guys so much! From Pomar Family Daycare.

Great little family pizzeria always find time to stop here when I am in area food is great from calzones to pizzas or garlic knots. Great either there or heated up at home as leftovers.

I was born and raised in NY. This is the BEST NY style pizza in the area. Reminds me of Knapps pizza on Ave X in Brooklyn. They also offer pizza by the slice which is most welcome.

This place has the best food in the area. The Stromboli is really good. They cater to people with special dietary needs. The personal service is outstanding.

I don't know how they do it but this place never fails to satisfy the pizza is always made fresh and exactly how I love it gabbies is the only place in port orange that seems to get it right it also doesn't hurt that the prices are unbeatable you have to check it out you wont be dissapointed

I know they’re popular so they don’t care on customer service. I ordered online but I accidentally ordered 2 whole pizzas instead of 1. I asked if I can return 1 and exchange for spaghetti but No is the answer. I know they have alot of orders waiting since nobody even care to asks when I came in, so they could have given my other pizza for someone since I haven’t touched it! Very frustrating!!

If you like good Italian food, even some what good this isnt it...do yourself a favor... move on...

This is a great little pizza place. Wings are good too. I wish they still has beer on tap instead of just bottles though. Still 5 Stars though!

Amazing people, there’s enough food in an order to feed a small village. I may exaggerate a bit, but seriously, GREAT food at a good price. I HATE onions, but my friend had me try their Stromboli. The texture of onions are usually enough to make me retch, but these Stromboli just made the flavors even more pronounced. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks for having us, also here’s a picture of half a Stromboli left. Good luck my friends

It's not bad but I wouldn't return, the atmosphere is not comfortable, there is no ventilation, it is very hot inside. the size of the pizza vs. price is good but I'm not even surprised me.

I would love to give this restaurant more the food is always amazing but when it comes to delivery they are absolutely horrible. We waited 3 hours just for us to have to call 2 times and whoever answered wasn’t very sympathetic and just asked if they wanted us to cancel the order because they hadn’t left yet but were about to. I’ve never been so disappointed with this restaurant and I have been going here since 2017.

Do not order from this pizza restaurant. The first time I ordered from them last month they said it would take 45 minutes. It took over an hour and a half. No excuses. Tonight we ordered a pizza and Stromboli and were told it would be an hour and it was on time, but the delivery person messed up the order and gave us somebody else’s order. The delivery person was very pleasant and we had no issues. I asked the delivery person if he needed me to give him our card information so we could pay for the delivery. He said it had already been taken care of. We later received a call from Gabbie‘s pizza saying that we had not paid for the pizza order. The phone then disconnected reading “call failed”. We made several attempts to call back and each time the call failed. Gabie‘s pizza then called Port Orange police on us. Law enforcement, who have much better things to do than waste their time being a collection service for Gabbie’s pizza called the company so we could pay for our order which we did without question. Please note, the officer also had trouble connecting with Gabbie’s pizza. The person who answered the phone was very rude and dismissive. If this is what Gabbie's pizza thinks is a priority when it comes to law and order and would call into question our trying to make it right by calling the police their priorities and business practices are completely lopsided. Feel free to order from them but don’t expect reasonable service. Gabbie’s Pizza (owner), while I appreciate a business owner replying to a negative review I found it immensely unprofessional your calling my and my wife’s integrity into question. Your delivery driver did say the order was taken care of when I presented our card. Your delivery driver did not notice the error, I did. I ran out to his car to advise him. I went as far as welcoming him into our home to sort things out. Which he did. He called your establishment from our kitchen. Yes, I had already taken a few bites out of the pizza. My wife realized her Stromboli wasn’t delivered which drew me to try and catch the driver. Yes, we ultimately received our full order and appreciated it. As far as my wife’s phone suddenly “deciding” not to work perhaps, you’ll take the time to visit the AT&T store in the Pavilion and inquire if we had been there since this incident. The representative reset her phone because it kept showing a “No SIM card available” error. I left an honest review based upon our personal experience. Insulting a customer is not how you grow your business. A call the next day or so would have been a wiser option. If you care to discuss this matter further, feel free to reach out to me with contact information. Otherwise, my opinion of your business will remain unchanged. BTW, your business makes yummy dishes. Your business practice is all I reviewed. GR

Best New York Style Italian Food!! Catered my Christmas Dinner for 15 people with everything from antipasto, sausages, chicken parm, baked ziti and the very best eggplant parm around. AND all reasonably priced!!!

Moved to Florida 8 years ago and finally found food worth going back for. Their entrees are second to none. Dawn is a fantastic chef and takes pride in everything she makes. And the waitress Denise is a hoot. Let’s just say she’s very personable. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Pizza Crust was probably one of the best I’ve had … crispy with a great taste ….. our Caprese Salad was delicious and best part was the Homemade Sangria to top it off .. We had the best waitress I have seen in a while her name was Denise .. and made our visit extra special ….. cheers to her and who ever made our pizza extra tasty .

Walked in with my family from out of town today. We got a face from the 2 guys like we were not wanted. So we walked right out without being sat So good luck as a manager in the same plaza I will tell every one of 300 customers I see a day if I have to not to go there. Bronx house here we come plus being from the bronx I’ll be more then Happy to drive an extra 2 miles then sit in that place

We wanted to try something different. We walked in sit anywhere we were told, ordered our drinks then the food She misunderstood my husbands food order but that was fixed at the table..my daughter order was wrong and the waitress was trying to tell my daughter what she ordered. She took the food away and my daughter walked for her food. My food came. It was just spaghetti and meat sauce. The pasta was hard. My husbands pizza toppings were not baked in. While we waited for my daughters order we lokked around to see that the cook had dropped some utensils on the floor and picked them up and continued using them. She picked up spaghetti with her hand ( i had already stopped eating my food because the pasta was hard) lots of cross contamination. Over priced bad food..i was more then disappointed. I didn't make a fuss because it was my husband's birthday. I am not going back ever. Another patron had ordered a pizza and the waitress boxed up his leftovers. He paid and left the box behind.

The staff was very friendly. Cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, wings, and French fries were all good.

First, and possibly most important, the food is almost always worthy of bragging about. Fresh, quality toppings/ingredients, consistent (also pretty important to us.) The only reason its not 5 star? Unlike the food quality, the hours are not at all consistent. This has caused us not only time and driving, but missing out on ordering elsewhere on at least 3 occasions. Their door has no hours posted, their website says Tuesdays they are open until 9p, Google says 8:30p, Slice says they are closed Tuesdays.

We got the supreme pizza and it was really good but the bread was really dry. The hot wings had a great kick and were delicious

Spaghetti & meatballs were excellent. I honestly couldn't stop eating my food. The sangria was excellent. We got the one with pineapple. So delicious! The zucchini sticks were really good. Hot and well fried. Really liked the outside seating area. We had it all to ourselves. I'd go back again no problem.

My family and I have been eating at Gabbies for many years. We used to eat in often ( weekly) but now my family goes in all different directions so I order take out weekly! I always order pizza and sometimes add fettuccini Alfredo and garlic knots. ( my sons love the pizza) I recommend their food! Take out is good but I prefer and think the food always tastes better at a restaurant. Enjoy ! 😊

My 2 year old and 8 month old were welcomed by the pizza tossing bald headed man w a smile. Enjoyed every moment. Pizza was delicious! Atmosphere was great felt like home Thank you to our server melody and and the other lovely woman.

Gabbie's has been a favorite for us since they opened. The food is wonderful and the prices are fair. Always introduce visiting company and can count on them loving it.

One of the only pizza places that I can find around here that does slices to go. It’s OK depends on the cook I guess. Sometimes the bottom of the pizza is pretty dry and burnt. It is always busy. Service is usually nice and food doesn’t take too long. Located in the pavilion kind of hard to see if you’re not really paying attention. It’s in the corner. They do have parking available.

The pizza is phenomenal. I cannnnnot stress this enough. The chef was frustrated. He beat that dough as if it had abducted his daughter in Paris. But boooooyyyyyyy, it was delicious. As we were interacting with the server, it became clear that I’d have had the same attitude if I were in this man’s shoes. But he continued to turn out great food and also expedite as best as he could from his position. Much much respect to him.

04/02/2023 added photos of the Sicilian pizza with extra cheese if you call you might be able to get a slice. We try to eat here from time to time generally good service, my wife likes the cheese pizza and I always get the large Stromboli which is enormous and delicious.

No wait time on a Saturday so we tried this place for the first time. Small pizza place with Italian cuisine. When you walk in you seat yourself. I tried the meatball sub and fries. It wasnt bad but I thought it could have more taste. Id try other things on the menu because the sauce had a good taste to it. Just the meatballs seemed bland.

Seriously, Excellent cuisine and pizza 🍕 just like back in New York but better. It was our second visit for dinner and it just gets better... They also have this new Chef (retired from NY) and he is completely, honestly the REAL THING! WOW! We tried one of his specials...WOW, Momma Mia! The taste, flavor of the sauce and the tenderness of the chicken is superb. I could eat myself to death, it was that good. Tip...order extra Italian bread, just for dipping into the sauce, so good! I wish I took a picture of our dish, but after the first bite....we couldn't stop eating, that's how good it was. Located in the Port Orange Pavillion. The garlic knot appetizers were very small but served on a garlic butter plate. The 11inch pizza was 6 large slices and was customized with half cheese and half pepperoni. I just didn't taste the tomato based sauce in the pizza it needed more sauce and Italian seasoning. Small seating area inside with extra seating outside. Place was full of customers. Service good. Price reasonable. Total for 2 people with 1 soda $27.00+tax.

By far the best pizza in Florida. Living in New York for 25+ years and having the best pizza imaginable all my life,, gabbies in Port orange is not only amazingly incredible pizza but it actually rivals some of the NYC pizza I've ate for years. No pizzeria in Central FL comes anywhere close. Highly recommended. And the staff are all super nice!!! 6 stars 🌟

It is extremely sad that a business would significantly raise their prices after a Hurricane where people have literally lost everything. Very disappointed!!
