Late Friday night crowd is fun!

We absolutely love this restaurant good service and delicious food a must try! We have been coming here for years! My favorite Mexican restaurant in Anchorage.

They are known for their margaritas, but the good is good, too. Lots of room, hardly ever a wait.

We had the most terrible experience eating at gallows tonight off of arctic. This is the first time I've been to this restaurant and I have never had such terrible service they treated us like second-class citizens and I do believe it could have been because I'm black which is ridiculous because it's not 1960 anymore. They were terrible to us the restaurant was not very full and we were ignored to where we had to raise our hands to get somebody to come to the table to take our order and then once we did order and tried to get a margarita they would not serve my girlfriend because I had an expired ID which I've never heard of before. I will never be coming back to this restaurant again! If I could give this restaurant -10 Stars I would have! The food was terrible also!!

Great service, but terrible Mexican food. To far from the border for sure. Refried beans were from a can and the rice No flavor… Only thing fresh was a little bit of lettuce otherwise the veggies were all sautéed, but not seasoned well.

Very dirty, food was cold and unflavorful. The servers were nice. The restaurant was VERY dirty. Chairs need to be washed! Badly!!!

Delicious. Large plates for the $. Thicker chips and less greasy...(I'm partial to the greasy thin ☺️) Decent cilantro free salsa (guessing; didn't taste cilantro in there, but didn't ask). Strawberry Margarita was kinda watery, weak on tequila and the strawberry syrup. No Garnish (Lime wedge, wheel). No sugar and/or salted rim, would have been nice... pretty glasswear though. Cultural dinning furniture, and BOOTHS. LOVE BOOTHS! (Personal choice.) Very nice Staff, I would suggest dinner for a better experience probably, I went around lunch and seemed attention was more on set-up for evening shift than focus on afternoon patrons. I'm guessing it's not too busy in the day but I don't know for sure. ✌️😉

I have gone to this location for over 2 years now. Food is excellent, decently priced too. Service has always been friendly and helpful! This location is big enough to accomidate large parties with an upper room. Highly recommend this place for Mexican food in anchorage.

This place was fantastic. I’m not usually out too often for lunch but even as they started picking up more costumers our waitress was very attentive as was the rippey lady. And yes they have pull tabs fantastic drinks where great. food was a bit crispy for my liking but the authenticity of this Mexican restaurant was on point as far as I know(I’m Alaskan) lol

Always the best Mexican food in Anchorage.

The food tastes like any other Mexican restaurant. I usually don’t like leaving reviews that belittle an establishment, but why not. The simple fact of the matter is the food is over-priced for how small the portions they serve. Save your money and time.

Thursday night football was fun at Gallos!

This is our family’s go to place for dinner. Great food, not overly expensive. Great salsa and chips.

Quiet night at Gallos in the dining room. The food was great, and extra chips and salsa were offered. Gallos on Arctic never disappoints.

Great Mexican food in Alaska! Worth the stop!

I ordered the fajita supreme platter. I had both of the beef and chicken. It was delicious and I ended up taking the leftovers home which was enough for 2 more meals. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was disgusting and after 2 attempts on their part to get it right, they still failed. High prices for nasty food in an outdated atmosphere

Food and drinks usually pretty good but this place is really dark and always smells bad. I would recommend visiting their other location over this one. They need to seriously update, redecorate, and deep clean this place.

I really used to love Gallo's , but I feel like their food has gone downhill in the last couple of years. The staff is always kind and friendly. And I really love the atmosphere, but the food tastes less flavorful.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Totally recommend their beef tamales and enchiladas. They had a homemade taste that was simply delicious. Esté lugar trae buenos recuerdos de un sabor auténtico para quienes gusten probar lo clásico de una cocina del pueblo.

Note special. Though their carnitas are great. Service is dismal.

They suck now. They got multiple orders wrong, staff were on their phones the whole time, and failed to ask us about refills. The chips and salsa were awful. Overall, they failed to earn my return business, would not recommend.

Every time I go they have great servers, My daughter loves the art and they definitely have a great menu to choose from

Traditional Tex-Mex American rest. Nothing extraordinary but still very good. My plate really could have used some spur cream and guacamole but it didn't come with either, but my co-workers was loaded with both. I had the vegetarian enchiladas and they were delicious.

Just went in for a drink this visit but the place smelled like good things were happening in the kitchen. And, from past experience the food is pretty decent.

Great place to go. We went with friends and the food was fast and delicious. The kids had great food as well. Highly recommend you stop in and have a number 17. Reasonable prices and great service!!

Excellent traditionally prepared Mexican food. Service outstanding. Inside/outside dining with lots of privacy areas. Liberal use of meat. Extensive menu including Menudo.

Had chicken chipotle, and beef chipotle for a change. Nice portions for each, and tasty. Usually get shredded beef enchiladas which are very good.

Always go to arctic rd location.

We love this place but everyone else should go to Gallo's on Old Seward so we can have this place to ourselves.

The company is great but they hire people who can't understand the majority of customers who speak English.... I placed a order for pick up 2 shredded beef deluxe burritos with extra cheese and the guy answering the phone said he got my order and it would be about 30 mins I showed up and waited 10 mins in the lobby waiting for help. Guy finally shows up after helping the customer infont of me. Told him what I ordered and he brought me the wrong order. I told him what I actually ordered then he disappeared for 30 mins I had to flag down the waiter who spoke English that was actually willing to help me ..... hire people that answer the phones .they must understand English efficiently...

Very good mexican food was a bit of a wait to order but tasted great.

Food was okay, hostess didn't seem too pleased to have to greet and seat us...after fixing the leg on the table we were sitting at so our drinks didn't spill, it was okay. Good menu and the food came quick. The fruit flys gave it an outdoor south of the border dining experience to match the decor. For dinner for 2 adults and 3 children @ $80 including tip, it wasn't horrible but I could find better.
