Germantown Cafe was a fantastic experience. They had just changed their menu so we didn’t get a taste of the old one but the new one was great. The chicken rice soup was one of the best we’ve ever had. The veal meatballs were phenomenal. The spicy rigatoni was outstanding. To top it all off we had a painkiller, the key lime pie (rivals Key West) and the dark chocolate mousse tart. Loved it all. They had a little issue with the credit card machine but we came prepared and just paid cash. All good!!!

4 of my co-workers went for lunch and we were all happy with our meal and service. The plumb pork is my favorite and it did not disappoint!

Had a great experience - the staff are awesome, food is always great and dependable, and it is one of my favorite stops for business lunch.

It took a really long time for a server to take our order. It was busy, but there was available seating, so it wasn't crazy. I ordered steak Benedict for brunch. The dish was good, but not great. A portion of my steak was so tough I could not cut it. My wife hot the chicken salad, but was not pleased it came with beets (not mentioned on the menu). She's picky. What can I say? The atmosphere was really loud, and it was obviously a place where young woman love to go for fruity cocktail brunches. That's fine, if that's your thing. I didn't love it, frankly. Glad I went, but don't think I'll be back.

First time we visited, my frittata was cold, and it was so salty it was dry and inedible. On our second visit, my wine glass had lipstick on it, our food took over an hour to receive, and a huge cockroach crawled underneath our table, which staff saw and didn’t say anything. We were still charged full price. We were also told by our host that wine is half off on Mondays, but when our check did not reflect this, the waitress would not apply it to our check.

Just had a business lunch there it was the perfect place to be.

Restaurant is very clean and great customer service from all employees. Food was fresh and our orders were correct. Menu is easy to follow. I ordered the market salad and added smoked salmon and it was fabulous! The rigatoni pasta was good too! I’m definitely going back!

This place gets it right! We had a wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back!!!

The drinks and food were amazing, the cinnamon sugar beignets were a big hit. Our waitress Giselle had great recommendations and was really attentive. Looking forward to coming back.

Enjoyed a Delicious Lunch with Friends today! The Plumb Tuckered cocktail was Yummy; lemony ,cold and refreshing especially on this hot day! The bartendar and table waitresses were friendly, knowlegeable and helpful! I ordered the crabcakes which came with green beans and mashed potatoes ! The crabcakes and sauce were very tasty without being fishy. The apple-pie a la mode was full of apple ,cinnamon and carmel flavors !

What an amazing evening celebrating belated birthdays. Was given a gift certificate and so grateful it was for Germantown Cafe! Between the wonderful food and customer service, it was a spectacular evening. Quality food, perfectly seared tuna, and excellent flavors. The fried green tomatoes had great seasoning and perfectly fried. The key lime pie was the magical sweet treat to wrap up the meal! Rodney and his crew are an amazing team! Thank you for making our night so special.

Giselle at Germantown Cafe was an amazing server. Chef Harley also came out to check on my guest who has severe food allergies. He actually specially made an appetizer item to accommodate for my guests needs: top notch expertise and service. The impression which was left was personal, memorable and I will definitely return. This is one of my go-to spots when I'm in Nashville for work. Germantown Cafe has been around for a while and it's consistent with good food, good service, and good atmosphere. The key lime pie is really good but that apple pie -- now, I wouldn't die for it but it is very very good!😊

Wanted to try the cocktail Peach, Please but they had run out. Our server suggested Malibu Barbie as a substitute and it was a great recommendation.

I love German Town Cafe!! It is one of my favorite spots to go to on Sundays. Love sitting out front while enjoying the best coffee and bloody Mary’s. I’ve been privileged to have Dani as my server a few times and she is always so amazing and one of the many reasons I come back. They say a restaurant is nothing without its staff, and Dani is one of the best. Thank you GTC for being a core staple of our community and I look forward to many more Sundays, brunches, dinners, etc. at my favorite spot!

Another smash hit with the brunch smash burger! We wanted to celebrate Burger Week and glad we chose GTC. We were seated promptly and our server took our drink orders immediately. The diners are exuberant so it tends toward noisy making it hard to converse without shouting. This is my only complaint.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville! The staff are engaging, friendly, and efficient. The food is consistently outstanding! Went with friends for The GTC Burger during “Burger Week”. You are getting the biggest & best burger with a huge serving of their superb fries for a mere 7 bucks! Served hot and made to order & just as well as when it is regular price. We had their delicious French Onion Soup which is the best in town! Try the Margaritas, you will not be disappointed. You’ll become a regular too! Btw, parking is easily available and free across the street from the GTC.

Food was very delicious. Our check was $150 and I had half a steak, large amount of eggs and potatoes and grits left over server threw my food away with out asking me. Was excited about coming back, but not after all To add after making this post, Alex came by and corrected it by making me another dish

Another incredible experience at German Town Cafe!!!! The crab cake Benedict was scrumptious.

The burger was super dry, had no sauce, and the service was super slow.

We just had dinner here and it was very disappointing. All three courses , burger, tuna and pork were overcooked and not very tasteful. Beans were still raw. Service was also kind of slow and not very attentive. Can not recommend this place, sorry!!

The host took 12 minutes to show up. We saw our server twice the entire time. It took 30 minutes for two burgers, with maybe 8 other people some already eating. They have no idea what sweet tea is and was willing to remove it from the bill so a little help but I would not recommend for lunch maybe a different meal but not lunch.

Just saw you guys on channel 5. Can't wait to come and try out that monster burger Rory was eating. Looked amazing! Not gonna lie. Your Happy Hour sounds good too!

Excellent dinner in the heart of Germantown. Very quiet atmosphere. Our meals were perfectly done. We were there on Monday which was half price on our wine bottle. Didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend.

Everything was amazing. Very good price for the quality of food you get in a “trendy” Nashville spot. Only negative was the guy who almost died of choking near us, but not something they could’ve controlled lol. Love this place for a date or family brunch

It’s always a treat to eat here, whether you’re walking in to grab a bite on the bar side or planning ahead by reservation. Tonight was a special occasion for our family, with relatives in from out of town to celebrate the life of our passed uncle. It was memorable, delicious, and just wonderful from check in to check out. Our server was a doll, the manager was so accommodating and kind (we were freezing under a blasting a/c and he offered us a blazer! What a sweetheart!). Take a date or your friends or family, or just stop by yourself, it’s a lovely place.

Waiter was on point with suggestions, accommodations, and food pacing as I need time in between courses. If you like French Onion Soup - you MUST try this place. Seriously the best soup I've ever had. For entrees, we got the plum pork and mac and cheese with blackened chicken. Sadly we were too full for dessert. We were on a motorcycle, so taking leftovers is always challenging as they have to fit in the saddle bags and also not leak. The waiter went out of his way to tape up the box. It ended up going sideways on the way home but everything was safely contained in the box. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a delicious brunch on Father’s Day and had wonderful service from Dean. It remains the best of Nashville - a solid staple in a city of fly by night establishments with trendy this or that. I can not recommend a better establishment for a solid dining experience where service and can do are the norm with food and drink to compliment. Bravo to the whole team at Germantown Cafe!

My husband and I decided to do an anniversary brunch instead of a dinner while in town and we’re so glad we did! Deliz was incredible! They set the tone for what was such a fun experience! They were attentive, warm, and charismatic! The food was incredible, and they take brunch reservations! Don’t sleep on this place and make sure Deliz takes care of you!

I randomly popped in here not knowing they had a happy hour menu. Bob was our bartender and delivered great service. The French 75 is my fave!

We came here for Sunday brunch and it was perfect. Great selection of food offered, outstanding service and pleasant atmosphere. We will be back soon!

For the “great” reviews I saw, this place was really a disappointment. The food didn’t have a lot of flavor. The steak was dry and there wasn’t even any salt or pepper on the table for my omelet (which really needed something extra). What’s worse is I made a reservation weeks in advance and showed up on time only to be asked by the host (not the server, she was great) to leave my table early because they needed to give it to someone else. It clearly says your table is reserved for 2 hours and we hadn’t been there that long. I wasn’t planning on staying that whole time either. But it was just really rude to get pushed - first he asked if he could move us somewhere which was weird implying it would be better if we just left because we’re taking up “space” in the restaurant - out mid-conversation when my party of four had literally just paid and left tips. Based on that and paired with the fact that most people have to pay to park I wouldn’t come back.

I had brunch solo on Sunday, around 2:00. Visiting for the weekend and went to Cross point church at 11:00; got an Uber to the area after. Looked at Monell’s ( which many recommend), not my gig… Chose this place and so glad I did!!

Great spot for breakfast/brunch in germantown. Steak and Eggs are a personal favorite and Bottomless mimosas were very efficient for the table (they bring the bottle to the table and dump it in a pitcher). Solid Choice.

Espresso martinis and monkey bread were delicious! Entrees were great too. First bartender was a bit unwelcoming when we got there, but thankfully she left and the others were more pleasant though somewhat inattentive.

Very nice place to eat, relax & enjoy the time away from the speed of business. Such a friendly place and we had a very tasty meal and will enjoy trying something new on the menu next time. We had a great brunch here! We came for the bottomless mimosas which they normally only do on the weekends but they made an exception for us. (Very generous we were lucky!) I got the Fried Green Tomatoes and the side Cesar Salad- both of which I would absolutely recommend!! The service was impeccable, I wish I could remember our servers name she was great!!

Atmosphere was great, the service was impeccable but the food was ok. Some dishes were great like the shrimp and grits, the onion soup and the cinnamon bread but the eggs were horrible and the steaks were unseasoned and the potatoes were stale.

Spotlessly clean restaurant with friendly staff and a great menu. Wanted to sample a local bourbon and was charged $46 for it without any notification of its cost whatsoever, which put an absolute damper on the great food we had just enjoyed. you just cant do that as a restaurant owner/operator.

Seated quickly even without reservations, everyone working there was very kind and welcoming, and food came quickly as well. Clean facilities, cute decor, and the food was tasty (except we personally didn't like the chicken sausage but that's just us! Some may find it delicious). The lemon poppy seed bread for the French toast was a wonderful twist on a classic breakfast dish imo.

Nice place, but the food was fairly ordinary. The key lime pie tasted like a thawed Sarah Lee pie, and the apple pie was basically a pool of squished up apples. The pork was very good though.

What a great place to get together with friends for a drink! I had a monkey bread and the eggs Benedict with steak on English muffin, although it wasn't my flavor profile everything was cooked to perfection which tends to be difficult for most places to accomplish that with thin steaks! It's a very lively environment, everyone that works there is absolutely lovely. The gentleman that seated me was very kind and helpful, the waiters and waitresses were all very nice and did a great job keeping up with how busy it is. They accidentally cleaned my place when I went to the bathroom and they comped my meal and gave me a new one even though I insisted I didn't need it! Definitely a great experience even if I didn't get 2 free meals! Thank you for the experience.

Food is excellent! I think the space could use a refresh but location is so perfect in Germantown. Service was good but slow during busy times. Feels like a neighborhood hidden gem - no bach parties!
