This was a really beautiful restaurant with excellent food. We had a great time here. The arborio rice risotto with lobster was fantastic and the elk tenderloin was awesome.

Fantastic experience! Came to celebrate a birthday, the service was beyond and the food was phenomenal. Reggie was so kind and had great recommendations! I want to give a special shout out to the Arborio Rice Risotto, everything was delicious but I'll be returning to have that risotto again!

The waiter has arrogant attitude. The lamb is tender inside but the surface is charred and tastes bitter. The waiter told me it’s just you don’t like it. we can’t fix it. All the fault is put on me, which is very arrogant. Mushroom soup is good. The meat in the foie gras is dry. The foie gras is under my expectation.

Generally, I don’t write reviews unless there is a complaint and I think the restaurant could improve from it. I have no complaints about Geronimo. We sat at the bar, excellent servers excellent cocktails. I ordered the carpaccio and the elk tenderloin both excellent. Our server sent us a sample of the mushroom soup with Sherry and I would order that again if I went back. my wife ordered the Myers lemon crêpe for dessert. I’m not a dessert guy, but I ate half of it. Only drawback is that it is expensive or we eat there every week

I’ve eaten all over the world (including Michelin star restaurants) for decades, but this is easily a top 5 meal ever for me. Absolutely amazing. I want to move to Santa Fe just for this restaurant!

From the Valet Parking to Cappuccino and dessert, the experience is stellar! We start with an appetizer, split a salad and then had them split the Elk ($5 charge) so we could save room for dessert. The Apple Dessert LOOKS like a real apple and is amazing!

We come to SF every August for opera. Went to Geronimo last year first time and so good we went back last night. This year we were inside and food and service excellent. Also not loud - no music so could hear selves talk. Enjoyed very much!

Geronimo is an awesome restaurant with extraordinary service, exceptional menu offerings, delicious well-crafted cocktails in an intimate, classy atmosphere! Please leave the children (age 12 and under) at home!

Best meal that I have had in a long time.

Puzzled by the hype around this place. It was hard to get a reservation and not worth the hassle. The atmosphere inside was stuffy and very old fashioned. Bread was stale. Food was fine, nothing spectacular.

10/10/10 this place was awesome. Came here for a birthday and was sat on the patio. The server Ryan was attentive and informative. He was extremely friendly, and gave us samples of several dishes. He made fantastic recommendations as well. For appetizers, definitely go for the Tuna Tartare, it’s delicious. The mushroom soup was also creamy and rich without being over the top. Portions can look a bit small to the ear but it is definitely enough for an individual. The Seabass, Elk, and Prawns were all great choices. Our server even brought us out a candle on the lemon crepe my brother’s birthday. I would say that this is truly the best fine dining experience in Santa Fe.

The Tellicherry Rubbed Elk Tenderloin was awesome. The garlic creamed potatoes with brandied mushroom gravy made the dish. But my wife's Rack of Lamb was to die for. It was better than the Elk Tenderloin, but only barely.

This is a high end establishment. This renovated old building exudes luxury and the atmosphere is intimate. The food is excellent. The cocktails were well prepared and their signature Manhattan was particularly tasty. We had the Hawaiian tuna sashimi and tartare and the Vermont quail and foie gras. Not only was the plating beautiful, but having wasabi infused caviar with the tuna was inspired. The quail and foie gras were perfectly cooked. For mains we had the Chilean Sea Bass and the rack of lamb. The sea bass was one of the best I have ever had, perfectly prepared and served with boc choi, ramen, and a lobster infused miso broth. The rack of lamb was perfectly cooked, plentiful and so well seasoned. For sides we tried the jasmine almond rice cakes, which are not to be missed and the mushroom special. Dessert was the meyer lemon crepe and their signature "Apple". Both were good. The service was outstanding, attentive, but not overbearing. It was a top notch dining experience.

Amazing spot with a cool, unique vibe and outstanding service. We sat at the bar, and our two servers/bartenders were so kind, attentive and funny. My sister and I did the vegetarian tasting menu. It was very good, but I personally am not a fan of blue cheese nor gnocchi, so 2 of the 4 dishes weren't ideal. That said, quality and presentation were superb. Definitely a must visit if in Santa Fe.

First time at Geronimo this past Friday, based on a recommendation from a friend. Was in town for a visit and booked well in advance. AMAZING food and service. Loved the two bartenders (Aaron and the guy with red hair--so sorry, can't remember his name)! They helped to make a great experience even better.

A fantastic restaurant ! We made reservations late and got counter seating. What a great. The bartenders were engaging and we learned a lot. It was like dinner and a show!

The perfect ending to our trip to Santa Fe! We loved dinner at Sazon and lunch at the Compound.....but the star of our trip was dinner at Geronimo. It was a top 5 dining experience! We had a table in the bar and the ambiance was perfect. Our server Christine greeted us and made the experience that much better. She was as much a highlight of the evening as the food was. Silky rich risotto, delicate crab cakes, phenomenal sea bass and a delicious, light lemon crepe. Book early and don't miss it!

We’re visiting from Tennessee and I gotta say Geronimo was absolutely a highlight for our trip. The ambiance and service was outstanding as well as the amazing food served to us. Will absolutely recommend the Elk Tenderloin. 5/5 highly recommended if you’re in the Santa Fe area.

Went here for our anniversary dinner. The server was amazing. The food was exquisite. I would absolutely park my car with valet because parking can be tricky on canyon road.

The food was wonderful, but the service was outstanding. Miranda knew everything about the food and what to recommend, but it was her unpretentious interesting manner that won our hearts. The whole staff was unnoticeably attentive to our every need or desire. An excellent experience.

We came to Geronimos for a birthday. The service and atmosphere were excellent. The food was extremely disappointing however. We got the crab cakes, the beef tenderloin, and the miso sea bass. All 3 came out and looked visually stunning. Unfortunately all 3 dishes were totally flavorless like the seasoning was forgotten about. We weren’t able to even finish the sea bass because it tasted like nothing. I’m surprised at all the 5 star reviews. Maybe we came on an off night but for the price I would expect the food to be top notch and it was instead extremely average to below average. It’s a beautiful atmosphere but given the great food options in Santa Fe I would look to go elsewhere instead of this place.

Wow, what a great restaurant! The food is off the charts and the service as good as it gets. We were in Santa Fe in May 2024 and went to the restaurant twice we were so impressed. Not an easy decision given the 300 restaurants in Santa Fe. However, both times we had an wonderful time and look forward to our next visit. Don't miss this excceptional restaurant.

I never pass up a chance to eat at Geronimo whenever I pass through Santa Fe. It is one of the best restaurants in the entire United States. The atmosphere, service and food are spot on.

We had the most amazing meal for my sister’s birthday! We ordered a TON of things, and literally every single dish was fantastic. Standouts were the crab and asparagus salad, the truffle gnocchi, mushroom bisque. and the key lime cheesecake. Service was attentive, friendly, and impeccable. (Our server, her name was Miranda I think, was absolutely fantastic, as were the runners and hosts). No notes, 10/10. What a memorable meal!!!

In Santa Fe on vacation, and had dinner with my son at this lovely restaurant. First, while it is pricey, IMO you are paying for not only the amazing food, but impeccable service. I had the pear salad and lamb chops, which were out of this world! My son had the miso sea bass, which was delicious. For dessert my son had the apple, which was a work of art to look at and just as tasty. I had the toffee crème brûlée, which was decadent. So if you want to treat yourself in Santa Fe , choose Geronimo.

Four of us went out for dinner and had a first class experience. The décor and atmosphere were amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, special thanks to our server Elise E. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted incredible. Amazing from start to finish!

Geronimo never ceases to amaze.

Don’t go here if you are vegan or gluten free or if you don’t eat shell fish. They don’t want to accommodate you. They served us stale bread and a tiny plate of overly salty vegetables for $62 per plate, more than the most expensive item on the menu (without telling us in advance of this punitive price). Our server was great and the atmosphere was nice but what they did to us was inexcusable. You could not pay me to eat there again.

This restaurant is very classy, and service could not be kinder and more professional. We found the food disappointing: all fresh and good quality, but ultimately slightly bland and not exciting. The lobster came with overcooked thin spaghetti, spinach and edamame, that did not go together with one another, the fois gras came with a dry tiny piece of brioche, the crab cakes lacked salt..... The wine list is very good. All together, a pleasant dinner, but way too expensive for what we ate.

This place is 2nd to none. I love everything about it. We dined here on each of our last 2 trips to Santa Fe. It is a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. I tried a new appetizer, the quail and foie gras, and it was one of the best dishes I have ever had.

Geronimo is the best restaurant in Santa Fe bar none. Best in New Mexico. The service is flawless. The ambience in the adobe home built long ago is extraordinary. The inside decor is lovely as well. We prefer the front room with the kiva fireplace burning and massive antlers and orchids over the kiva. The tables are well dressed with sparkling white tablecloths and stylish leather banquets and chairs. Some patrons, though prefer the back room so they can observe the amazing work at the bar! The house offers a half glass of sparkling wine, amuse bouche (mushroom bisque to die for) and artisan breads to start. After ordering, the food is wonderful - elk tenderloin, lobster tails, beef tenderloin, crab cake for a first course. If one is a vegetarian, there is a spectacular four course selection. The desserts are excellent too. Try the “Apple” creation: what appears to be a golden delicious variety is really white chocolate with cream inside studded with tiny bits of apple sautéed in brown sugar. All the sorbets and ice cream are house made and tasty. The wine list is extensive and the bar can make any cocktail known to man. Finally, the service is simply impeccable. The wait staff are the best ever. Knowledgeable about the menu, helpful with choices and personable. Simply lovely.

This was my 16 year old daughter’s first fine dining experience. The experience was memorable because the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our meal and the specialness of this restaurant. If you are looking for impeccable service and delicious food, this is your spot.

When you celebrate your 61st wedding anniversary, you need to be spoilt, we were. Read the reviews, and narrowed it down, finally picked Geronimo. From the moment we stepped inside we felt at home, beautiful surroundings and wonderful staff. For starters we ordered the Pear Salad and the Smoked Duck, delicious both plates. Main course we had the Short Rib and the house special Haddock, which was exceptional. They provided us with a complimentary desert, which could have been shared but my wife fell in love with it, so no spoon or fork for me. Our daughter had pre ordered some wine for us to make our evening celebration a huge success. To all the staff at Geronimo, thank you all for making our day.

Classic, elegant, luxurious, graceful; all synonyms that come to mind when reflecting on dinner at Geronimo. The atmosphere is beautiful, but not pretentious. The service is elevated, but approachable. And the food is developed with something for everyone. What a special place ✨️

Not worth the price but did have a nice flavor though

Awesome service right from the entrance. Very nice old Adobe style home ambiance. Bisque was smooth and clean tasting, lacked some texture from a garnish. Carpaccio was pretty basic and a little under salted. Tuna app was delicious, great sauces to mix and match. Lamb chops were really enjoyable with the polenta and fresh pea puree.Desserts were both a fantastic way to finish the meal. I would go back for the Lamb and to try other entrees they have.

AWESOMEST restaurant. Ambiance felt cozy, friendly staff. Our server was Elise, she provided sufficient attention as to not take away the enjoyment of our meal. We both had the grilled lobster tails, crab cakes and tuna tartare along with some Pinot Gris. A truly great experience.

I came back after a year. The convert's spicy bread was less spicy. A fish with white butter that would have caviar and was off the menu. I didn't see the caviar or taste it And grilled lobster sauce. Good but I expected more.

Fantastically creative cooking with a southwest flair. Impeccable service. Beautiful restaurant located in a cool area. Superb wine list. However, servings were a bit side and prices were too high. A tip of that hat to the restaurant for not allowing children under 10 at dinner. It was great not to have to listen to shrieking brats while we dined.

Lives up to the hype. Food was exceptional service was attentive but not intrusive. Great night out with my parents.

Always a special dining experience!

We arrived without a reservation but were able to be seated! People watching was delightful, service was great and the food was so very good! The flavor mixtures were perfect for both my husband’s sea bass and my Mexican prawns. Another flavor delight was a pear and cashew salad with grilled blue cheese and arugula - another delicious blend of flavors. A fabulous meal.

Thought it was just an apple, turned out to be something else

The food is really great! We went last year as a party of 4 and had a great meal. This year we went as a party of 6 and were told the manager was watching our party and we needed to leave. If you have any gusto in your group I’d advise you to find another place to spend you $1,000.

Some of the most delicious food I've had the pleasure to eat. The food and presentation were exceptional and the waitstaff were so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. To boot, it is actually pretty reasonably priced for the quality.

While the staff were generally polite, I was disappointed with the overall experience. Despite the high price tag of $250 for four people, the food fell short of expectations. The waitress provided misleading recommendation on the popular dishes, and unfortunately, dishes that ordered were bland and tasteless. For such a hefty price, we expected much better quality. A wonderful place for a nice dinner. While the website notes that allergies cannot be accommodated, the staff are excellent and can work with you to ensure you have options. The food continues to be outstanding and the staff are extremely good.

Geronimo’s is a top five all time for me. Situated along Gallery Row it’s intimate calming and spirited. The service and food is superb. Highlights: sherry mushroom bisque, green chili croissants and roasted elk! Had fun with Grant our water bantering about college basketball. He paired us with the perfect wine served us effortlessly.

Prefect! From being greeted warmly at the entrance, a glass of complimentary champagne , I knew the night would be special. And it exceeded that.

Clearly the best restaurant in Santa Fe. Food is outstanding, service impeccable: attentive without being intrusive. It is like good restaurants used to be. One of its best features is no children under 10, so there is a quiet ambiance almost totally lost today. It is expensive, but well worth it.

Sat at the bar where Aaron, our bartender, was FANTASTIC!! Waiter, whose name I don’t recall, was equally as fantastic. The drinks were very, very good as well as the wines by the glass selections. The food was absolutely amazing. Had the wasabi Cesar salad, the beef carpaccio and finished it off with the lobster tails. The lobster was sheer decadence. Talk to get a reservation here so I would if you’re planning on being in time town, I would definitely grab one well in advance of your trip as you won’t get one on the spot.

Great restaurant in classic Canyon Road, with a exquisite staff. To Raul Daniel Gonzalez-Blackowl. May 25, 2005 - December 15, 2023. Who worked at Geronimo's; and inspired to be a chef. He took classes at the community college and in Poaque. Raul the 6th out of seven children, and an enrolled member of the Southern Cheyenne tribe. Sadly he lost his battle with depression and passed on December 15, 2023. His ashes will be buried in Mexico with his father's side of the family. You can visit his memorial and leave flowers at Calle Carmelita by the cluster mail boxes.

Lobster was great but the pasta it came with lacked flavor. The Sea Bass was bland and the ramen noodles were overcooked and mushy. The portion of steak was very generous.

Overall service was great except for our waiter. His timing was off and neglected our table. We only heard about the nightly special because we overheard from another waiter after we already ordered. My wife would have ordered the special - Halibut.

Our experience was superb. The food, atmosphere, service are exquisite. We live in Napa with some great restaurants and travel a lot and feel this restaurant outshines the rest. The staff from the valet who greeted us, door man, host and wait staff, raise the bar on service. A destination of it’s own. Cannot wait to return. Thank you for a beautiful experience.
