Average pizza joint but satisfied my craving. Got the margarita pizza 🍕

We ordered pizza and salad online for a party from Gianna. The app was great and allowed us to order a couple of days ahead and set a pick up time. The food was ready when we can to pick it up. The food was fresh and delicious. Great ingredients and well prepared.

Great Pizza, small place. This is a great place to get a nice authentic slice or pizza pie. Delish. Very small dining area, both recommended; best to carry out.

Came by for a quick slice and I thought it was great so I made another visit and boy was I disappointed. Calling it "school pizza" would be a compliment to what I was served... beyond disappointed–ended up throwing out the entire pie. What's a pizza spot with no consistency... quickest way to cross out a pizza spot on my list.

I have been coming here for years. Though durng the Pandemic it was hard to have the greatest New York Pizza here or anything else. You had to order it first, but i like to sit down and enjoy my meal. But, actually, everything is great here. It's like being back in NY all over again. The Pizza is thin and crisp, no oil that you have to dab off of the Pizza. Their salads are wonderful too. I also love the Calamari here too, it's crispy, not oily, like most places. But if you had anything off of the Menu, you would love it. I also love their Tiramisu, of which I love anyway. Not everyone has "great Tiramisu", but their Tiramisu is wonderful. Enjoy. IT RECENTLY CLOSED, DUE TO RENT INCREASE.....I WILL LOOK FOR ANOTHER GIANNA'S. I AM ONE OF MANY DR'S OFFICES MISSING THIS GREAT PIZZA PLACE!

Take out as it’s a small pizzeria. Food is good. My NY grandchildren love it!

This location unfortunately has shut down! Unbelievable! It was so shocking to see the windows covered up. We hope they open someplace else nearby!

Absolutely terrible. I’ve been going here for years. Used to be one of the best pizzas to eat in plantation. We stopped going because the quality was going down. We tried again tonight, still terrible. Pizza was disgusting stale and so chewy. $90 for 3 large pizzas and mozzarella sticks. I don’t care about the price as long as the food is good and editable. It’s so disappointing. I will not be returning. Best of luck to you all.

Went in for a 14 inch pizza for 23.75 with pineapple on it which guy said it was 2 or 3 dollar upcharge -no worries- but then total comes out 29.60. Guy tells me it's a credit card charge fee so I asked if I can use debit he said it's the same( never heard of that one). The pizza is good here but not 30 dollars for medium.

The owners are absolutely wonderful and so accommodating of our dairy free diet. Their garlic knots are crave worthy and the prices are very reasonable. We will make this our go to place for true authentic garlic knots!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice place to eat and found this gem! The lady there was so so nice, very friendly and the restaurant itself is so cute. The food there was amazing, I got lasagna and my bf got Sicilian pizza. Best lasagna I've ever had. I would definitely love to go there again <3

I remember going into this place when I was a child. Over 20 years ago. I was so happy to discover the establishment is still going strong. The pizza is delicious, the same as it was years ago. You all have really kept you family legacy alive, you should be so proud of yourselves! It is truly a beautiful thing. It really brought me back to my childhood to come again to eat here even though it is a different location it meant a lot to me & it was a special experience especially to be there with my family now. Thank you, can't wait to come back again soon!!

This pizza was so amazing! I am from the garden state area and know what good pizza is. Living in Florida the last 2 years has been so difficult not being able to have good New York/ Jersey pizza, however this comes so close to it. Love love love! Will def be my new favorite pizza spot.

Won't answer phone, get a message that says order online. Try to order online and cannot. Google says not taking orders during business hours. I used to be a customer when they answered the phones, not I'm not.

Good pizzas and pastas. Hardly got a hello, smile or even a “thank you” from them last time I visited. I can get good pizza at a dozen different places, so all things being equal, I’ll go where I feel like my money and my patronage are appreciated. Having said that, I understand people can have bad days, so I might make another visit to see if it was an anomaly, and if so, I’ll update this.

I have loved triste pizza! I had Greca and Nonnos pizza and were the best options! 100% recomended! Its a must! And Giuseppe and his family are the best host!

Don't use your credit card or debit card. I was mis-charged $230.00 for a a slice of pizza and a beer. The "manager?" said there was nothing she could I would have to wait until the pending charge dropped. She never offered to call her bank customer service to try and intervene. Surprisingly the correct charge of $10.70 posted and the incorrect charge of $230.00 is still pending. I sent an email to Gianna's email address listed on thier website and never received a reply. It has been 5 days

This has been my go too pizza joint for 3 years now and will probably always be unless they move. Everything on the menu is awesome and delicious plus friendly staff always!

The owners are rude and condescending. My whole family had to wait over an hour the other day for an overpriced tiny pizza which almost broke our teeth. Condiments are never available, workers looked overworked and exhausted. NEED TO HIRE MORE HELP! Take out might be a little better , but if you want to dine-in, be prepared to wait and be forgotten. By the way, you have to pay up front if you dine in. Deceiving restaurant style. Just was not for us. Won't be returning.

I love this place..its right next to my job.. foodand service is very good..but today..I ordered my usual chicken strips and fries..how ever the chicken doesn't taste or look the same..it's usually really chicken breast..which is why I order from here..but this looks like that rib meat chicken..like in chicken nuggets..I come here for the realness.but this just turned my stomach..until they bring the breast back ill just order pizza or from somewhere else.

This is by far the best Pizza, my family and I are from New York and whenever we want a taste from home we go to Gianna's. We have been going there for so Many years. Also the staff is very family oriented. THE BEST!!!!

If i could leave 0 stars i would. First time coming to this place and will never return. I ordered 2 slices of pizza, prior to ordering i asked how long it would be and the cashier said the pizza just came out of the oven. I then waited 30 minutes and the order still was not ready, i asked for a refund as i had to leave, the cashier didn't know how to do a refund and said the pizza is coming out right now, 10 minutes later no pizza and no refund, he had to ask someone else to process the refund, when she came to the front she attempted to refund but was unable to through her system and said she would need to call in to process the refund... i proceed to wait as im running late. I let her know i was running late. In no way was i rude to her and she proceeds to say you can leave we'll give you your money back, weve been in business for years so this isnt gonna hurt us. My thoughts... when did i say it would. I was at starbucks... saw your restaurant and thought I would try it out. Big mistake. I was treated very poorly by the staff member, she was very rude. Not once did i raise my voice or disrespect her but you could hear her all the way from the back. People who came in after me got their food first. I was to come back later to get a refund. They close at 8pm and stated they would be there after hours for a short period of time and to come back. Thats a big inconvenience. As a business owner the goal is to provide good customer service and retain customers, provide a quality service, product, etc. I received none of the above. Moving forward i hope you treat your customers more respectfully and accept accountability when issues may arise. Best of luck to you moving forward and hopefully issues like this dont arise in the future. My refund still wasnt processed so i had to dispute the transaction.

Not sure whats happening with Gianna's but it has become IMPOSSIBLE call in to place an order. The keep pushing you off to google, grubhub, slice to order. I'm not interested in using apps to order food. I understand no orders over $50 can be placed over the phone, but that is not my situation. The recording tells you to press 1 to order then it goes to a recording. Come on folks I just want to eat your pizza, which is quite delicious, but not if I have to go through all these hoops to order! Please just answer the phone and get off this automated answering system... its a tremendous put off.

The pizza was good the dough is slightly thin. Not as filling as expected for the price point. A little disappointed in my salad was not exactly worth the cost. Didn’t look like the website photo.

This is our locate piazza spot. Today we ordered, the kids had two slices and complained that the pizza was hard. I took a slice and it was hard to me as well. I called and asked to speak with the manager. When I asked who I was speaking with , the response was how can I help you. I explained that the pizza was hard. The manager later identified as Rose said no one has complained all day and that the pizza is NY style. Again I explained that it was hard and I would be returning the pizza. I drove there and talked with Rose again who gave me more excuses. When I asked for a refund she offered to remake the pizza and I declined and asked for a refund. Rose instructed me to call the slice company and request a refund. I called and was told the restaurant reported that I ate hate the pizza and would refund half. I explained that we got an XL Pizza and even if 3 slices were missing that is not half the pizza. They tried to call Rose back and there was no answer. Very DISAPPOINTED!!! Our family eats here all the time and will never spent another dollar. I will be waiting for my refund especially bc I refused the remake and I know that is considered theft in the state of Florida.

No flavor at all. Customer service was lacking. I had to ask for a plastic bag for my food 4 times. I ordered in advance on Slice and it still took forever to get food that was supposedly already ready. Irritated.

I have known Rosie for almost 40 years. Family owned used to be pizza center in the windixie shopping center .Rosie's mom and dad did most of the cooking back then .Now, Joe ( brother ) Rosie and other family members run the show. Its Always very good, and you are always greeted with a smile and " how you doin?"

Ordered Salad an 18 inch pie and garlic knots. I got the pie before everything else, they handed it to me like that's all I ordered. Had to wait 15 more mins for the salad and knots. Pizza was cold when we got home and we live off El Dorado, literally 2 lights west.

Ordered 2 slices of pizza. Took about 4 minutes and it was amazing! Thin, crispy, and not so heavy on the cheese. Closest thing to a NY slice, it was delicious

They advertise pizza by the slice but when I walked in to get 2 slices, I was told id have to wait 20 mins for them to cook a whole pizza..

Been eating here all of my life and thought they closed down after leaving the original location. Just found out they are still around and the pizza was exactly as good as I remember. My parents took me as a kid and now I will do the same with mine.

They have the best pizza in Plantation But the down fall is they are always busy and I sat in dinning room and had to wait 30 mins Take out was 45 min to an hr.

In defense of this restaurant, they were having a very busy Saturday night. I ordered take-out online and had to wait longer than expected. The thin crust pie was great and they added extra basil that I requested. They forgot the garlic knots that I ordered so check your bag before leaving. I won't order the $9 fried ravioli again..maybe for half the $$?

Super fresh and homemade feels! We ate the supreme pizza and some cheese slices. I love the feeling of catching a glimpse of their life as fun and intimate pictures hang on the wall while having a taste of what could be family history in their recipe. Was amazing and authentic!

We were driving around the area and decided to grab some late lunch. Did a quick search of restaurants nearby and Gianna’s caught our attention. Mostly because it was not a big franchise or chain restaurant. We arrived and it’s a small place, but they have a few booths available, they greeted us and we ordered at the counter. We tried the mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad, cheese pizza and the white pizza, everything was delicious. The pizza crust was really good and the ingredients very fresh. The ricotta on the white pizza was to die for. I would recommend this little restaurant. They get a lot of take out orders. This place will be on my favorite pizza places around this area.

This review is based on their customer service. I had ordered Gianna's through a food delivery app. The app was having issues and wasn't delivering messages to the driver that the order was ready. The manager from Giannas called me personally to explain what was going on, apologized, ensured the food was staying warm and tried to contact the app for me. After a lot of back and forth with the driver and the app, the food was finally delivered (about an hour late but not because of Gianna's) - the manager called me after to apologize and asked if I had ever received the order. She was very empathetic and followed up with me. Great service all around. PS: the food was of course great! but the service is what will have me coming back. :)

We had so much fun. They also cater deliveries on their pizza at your very doorstep and still hot. Their pizzas were very delicious and fresh. This is the best pizza restaurant in the city, guys! Order one now!

Ordered takeout twice in the past couple of weeks. Simple orders of large cheese pizza with a side of meatballs. Both orders came out excellent and they keep social distancing like no other restaurant I have seen in the area. Fair price, good portions. Highly recommended.

pizza was tasty, sauce had a nice sweet tang to it but it was a little light, though I had requested extra sauce 🤷‍♂️. Was well cooked with a decent flop level. mozzarella was good bit a little thin, and not the freshest. Crust had a nice crunch to it as well. 7.3 on a one bite scale. I can't Tell you how the meatball hero tasted, because I somehow got a Chicken parm sandwich in its place and in all honesty was actually pretty tasty. lots of cheese which had a nice strech quality to it.
