My pizza was completely burned and when I call and ask for a refund the managers response was: Bring the pizza back and can’t do anything for you sorry. If I had ordered via DoorDash for sure they’ll refund my money back. Just lost a customer for lack of customers service.

The best italian food we’ve had in south FL!! We had meatballs appetizer, gluten free penne ala vodka and fettuccine alfredo!! Staff was so friendly and it had such a cute ambiance and saxophone music! We will definitely be back

Ordered from this restaurant last night. The bolognese was okay, but the chicken Milanese was shockingly bad. 2 very very tough chicken tenders (like leather tough) and a tiny little side salad for $26. Will never try them again.

The best Brussel sprouts I've tasted in a significant amount of time. They were crunchy and so compelling, we just couldn't resist them. For pasta lovers, Vivace is an excellent choice. Dishes like the chicken marsala and wild mushroom risotto have a delightful, intense flavor.

Very nice atmosphere, nice place for a drink. But the sit-down service has been bad the last 3 times we visited. Last night aside from the soup and glass of wine most items arrived wrong. First order was for skirt steak, 20 minutes late we were told it was not available, second choice same thing. Server didn't know the difference between veal parm and a veal chop. The server really had no clue what he was doing. He said he was new, however we had the same experience with him in May so not too new. Food was mediocre at best. Also the person making the pizza was not wearing gloves and constantly adjusting an earpiece inside his ear without washing his hands, that doesn't seem sanitary to me.

We came from the New York area. We were told this was a fantastic place and oh my goodness is it is. adorable ,very clean ,wonderful music ,and fantastic authentic Italian food. We had the honor to have Tommy take care of us. Tommy is actually the manager of Vivace, but they were so busy that he jumped in and took care of us. The service was incredible. He knows everything about the food and the customer service the hospitality like never seen before. We're looking forward to coming back the next time we are in south Florida .Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

Vivace in Plantation, Florida, is a culinary gem that we recently had the pleasure of discovering. Our takeout experience was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the incredible service and mouthwatering food. We’ve ordered from Vivace a couple of times, but this was by far the best experience from start to finish. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Diavolo pizza. It was a symphony of flavors with the perfect balance of heat and savoriness, topped with fresh ingredients and a delightful crust that was both crispy and chewy. It’s hands down one of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time. What made our experience even more memorable was the outstanding service provided by Alyssa. She took our order with such warmth and professionalism, ensuring that every detail was perfect. Her friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made us feel valued as customers. Alyssa went above and beyond to make our experience seamless and enjoyable, and it’s clear that she is an invaluable asset to Vivace. We cannot recommend Vivace enough, and we sincerely hope that Alyssa receives the recognition she truly deserves for her exceptional customer service. She is a shining example of what makes Vivace a standout dining destination in Plantation.

It’s unfortunate this place has such awful service because the food is good. Manager claimed service was bad because they had multiple call outs but there was 4 tables in the whole restaurant. We didn’t get our second entree and server Cindy was quite bad. Won’t be returning

It was one of the rainiest nights in Florida but we made our way for the first time to this fabulous Italian restaurant . Our fantastic meal was prepared by owner Vito. And we were served by one of the most charming and experienced servers anywhere in Marissa . The food and hospitality were so great we did not notice the rain. This will not be our last visit either!

Everything about this place is a 10/10! It’s a quiet place with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We talked with Tommy and Les throughout our dinner and they were both incredible- they had outstanding service and even greater personalities! They are both hilarious. Rafiel took care of us and he was so polite, knowledgeable, and patient. He took excellent care of us, and guided us through the menu perfectly. We enjoyed every dish we ordered, and will certainly be returning.

My husband took me to this place for my birthday dinner. This has to to be one of the BEST Italian restaurants I have been to in south Florida and the BEST in Broward county! We had the mozzarella triangles which was fresh and delicious in a bed of tomato sauce which was the winner of the whole meal for me. Best tomato sauce I’ve ever tasted! I ordered rigatoni bolognese for my entree and again the tomato sauce with the ground beef for me was another hit! This will now be my go to for Italian! 🔥🔥🔥 I apologize for not having photos! Food so good I had to dig right in! lol

Arrived 20 min early. A party had just left. Although we were invited in, we were then told after we asked if it was too early to order. We were told that the kitchen was prepping and pizza guy had yet to arrive. We were hungry and since it was not even an option to sit outside maybe, wait, order a drink...by then they would be open for dinner and we could have enjoyed a meal, we asked where else we could eat nearby..no definitive answer was offered, so we just walked over to Ella's. Not how we felt it should have been handled but....we are in South Florida where service is not always the establishments top priority.

Well, there’s no options for me to leave 6 stars so I’ll start here, this is what you’re in for: a warm welcome when you get there, a friendly atmosphere, and delicious, authentic Italian food at your table. The owners will likely visit to check and make sure everything is to your liking. They visited us and I saw them visit all tables surrounding us. They genuinely care which is rare to see in today’s restaurant industry. I’ve been here several times and whether at the bar or at a table, whether NY style pizza or homemade pasta dish; there’s really no going wrong. If you have the time and have never been, I highly recommend!

We experienced our first dining interlude at Vivace this past Saturday evening, and based on such positive first impression, we definitely plan to return soon. We had a party of 4 adults and 1 child. We had two appetizers, a bottle of fine Merlot and 4 adult servings and 1 child serving, and the overall cost pleasantly exceeded our expectations. My veal marsala was fabulous, and the meatball appetizer was incredible. My entire family all expressed a positive dining experience. The dining atmosphere and ambiance were so pleasant. Following the completion of our dinner, we transitioned over the restaurant bar lounge area and enjoyed a few adult libations while listening to the live entertainment, a saxophonist. Tommy, the bartender, provided superb service and, as a result, provided a very positive final impression as the night concluded. Tommy represented the Vivace brand exceptionally well. Tommy interfaced with the customers as if HE WAS THE OWNER! THANK YOU, Tommy!

I am a local and this is the 3rd different restaurant / bar in Plantation in the past few weeks where I’ve been told by the staff there’s no happy hour. I went on Sunday at 5 and I checked their website first. I asked the bar man what was included in happy hour and he said there is no happy hour on a Sunday. So either false advertising, or the owners are short sighted or the staff are afraid of less tips from half off drinks. Either way I’ll drive further to go to a different Italian next time. I would say local punters are important in a place like Plantation which is less touristy than say Fort Lauderdale.

OMG, because why are they SOOO GOOD. Literally, everything on the menu is amazing. Let's start with the ambiance. Before you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with a flood of greenery in an herb garden. Once inside, you have clean, comfortable seating and ambient light at each table. Now to the menu. Some of my favs are the Lobster Crab cakes. They have a unique arrangement of spices with a very unique coconut sauce. The bang bang shrimp and calamari are some of the best you will ever have. I'm conflicted between the bread and the garlic rolls as they are both amazing. All of the pasta dishes are perfectly cooked , not soggy, not hard, with an array of different , very flavorable sauces. The seafood is ridiculous. The fish has a nice crust on the outside but is super flaky and soft on the inside. And don't let me even start on the pizza. The dough on the regular pizza is amazing, but if you really want to treat, try their cauliflower pizza. They have a large assortment of amazing cocktails and martinis , along with perfectly baked desserts. From the service to the pricing to the clean environment, 5 stars all around. Hats off to the 👨‍🍳 he really has made a stellar menu. Highly recommend for Italian and Seafood dishes!!

Bartender was on fire 🔥 tonight! I didn’t get her name but Lychee Martini was the best I ever had! Flavourful, powerful and just what I needed after a really bad day/week/tax season (I’m a CPA so you get it) Food is always awesome and consistent! Best pizza in town, mussels appetizer is my favourite!! Meatballs are my husband’s favourite and I think my son shows up for the bread o& calamari only! Love this place! It gets better and better!

This is my go to spot every week. For a bite, for a meal and for a date night. The vibe is simply great, everyone is very attentive. The new decor is wonderful and the food is so delicious. This is definitely a hidden gem!

Hi! The owners should be so embarrassed by the way we were treated at this restaurant. I went for a birthday this week with 11 people. Unfortunately, we had horrendous service. We never had a waiter come to our drinks, appetizers or meal without having to walk to the front of the restaurant to ask for service. If that was not bad enough, then they gave another table the outside celebratory dessert.

Pasta is quite overcooked and the chef uses more salt than the Dead Sea. We sent the lobster ravioli back and replaced it due to high salt content. The linguine and clams was very oily and ultra salty as well. My blood pressure was a bit high the next day. Last time going here.

I’m a guy that grew up eating homemade sauce and meatballs every single Sunday and this place is great! Feels like a larger version of home with truly great food. The atmosphere is very enjoyable as well. Highly recommend.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The meals were terrific and the atmosphere was great. As for the service - I asked for a cold adult beverage and they had just run out, instead of telling me they were out.... our server left the restaurant headed to a nearby store and purchased it, simply to "not disappoint a customer" Ordered, the eggplant Parmigiano, fra diavolo, chicken marsala all were absolutely excellent We will definitely be back

Recently went for the first time for dinner. To say we were impressed was an understatement. Top recommendations were the eggplant Parmesan and Chicken Romano. However the Fra Diavola was great as well as the Marsala. More than the food though, the service was incredible. Rafael, our server made sure he met every need and made great suggestions. I didn’t even take pictures because it was so good. Ambiance is nice and music was a great volume.

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant when we were googling “calzone.” My husband had to have one. We arrive and both immediately felt like we knew our waiter in a past life. After questioning him we figured it out! He use to be a bartender at another restaurant we frequented in the past. What a small world. Tommy was amazing. He immediately had me with his personality, even before i made the connection. He’s the reason we will be back. Oh, and the food, Excellent! I had rigatoni bolognese and my husband had a calzone that could feed an army! It was much larger than expected. What a hidden gem in plantation!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and welcoming. I was a bit disappointed with my birthday dinner. For the appetizer, we ordered calamari. I was shocked when it got to the table; the rings were so small that it was not worth it. I ordered the Branzino, my plate was not complete, missing the potatoes. I asked the food runner and the server, and they said they didn't know and would have to check. After a trip to the kitchen, they came back and said they would bring it out in a few, the potatoes made it to the table undercooked as well as the 2 inch asparagus. I ordered the crème brule for my birthday dessert, but they were out. I got the lava cake instead, which was overheated and melted—definitely not lava cake, more like chocolate pudding. We like to support our community by visiting restaurants around the area, but we feel discouraged about going back.

Post renovations, the atmosphere improved quite a bit. I think they also narrowed down some their menu into a more traditional italian restaurant while maintaining their pizzeria chops. Wife loves the vodka sauce here, I'm more impartial to a traditional bolognese.

I dine here often. Most recently, I had the calamari appetizer (excellent, very fresh and light and came with some fried zucchini as well which was a nice touch) and the branzino entree (also delicious and very fresh) and a perfectly made martini. Our server was also very friendly and accommodating. Great experience all around.

This was our first time @ Vivace, everything was amazing! My wife and I were celebrating Valentines. Nice ambience, Jazz saxophone player in background was a nice touch, the service was excellent - Yaniv was an outstanding server, making sure every step of the way that we were satisfied, the food was fantastic! I hosted a group of five of us for a Valentine’s Day luncheon. I prearranged for billing it directly to my credit card to avoid the awkward scramble for the check at the end of the meal.

Vivace was fantastic. The food was wonderful, atmosphere was superb - there was a saxophone player - on a weeknight no less, and the service was spot on! I had the pork shank special - braised pork shank on risotto - I died and went to food heaven. Everyone else in our party was extremely pleased with their dinner as well. My partner in crime had fennel sausage, mushrooms, in a sherry cream sauce over a large tube pasta - excellent. The bolognese and the Scottish Salmon were really well done. We were celebrating a couple of birthdays so our server had the saxophone player come play happy birthday while he served crème brûlée to the birthday boy and girl - how nice. We met the chef - Vito - who is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America - so he knows his way around the kitchen and is of Italian descent and worked in Italy (I think he still has family in Italy) so he knows good Italian food as well. My wife and I were visiting from Pittsburgh and ate at this restaurant last night. We were very happy with the experience. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and outstanding. I was especially impressed with the live music on a weeknight. Very pleasant soft guitar accompanied our evening. I had the penne ala vodka and I added one meatball. Delicious! My wife had the rigatoni and we shared a Ceasar salad which was very nice and plenty. We had an excellent dessert as well. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Plantation. A shout out to Tommy Russo for his outstanding customer service and hospitality.

Do not order through Door Dash store front. I went to the store at the scheduled pick up time and they said the got the order 5 min ago. Said it would be at least another 30 min.

I found out Vivace had a bar last Friday and fell in love with the atmosphere. The younger bartender was very attentive and just fun to talk to. His drinks were amazing even though he’s only been bartending a couple of months. They have a live sax player on the weekend. Anyway I come in today and the pasta is completely different. I don’t know if it’s a different chef making it or maybe a bad batch but the Alfredo was just milky , completely liquid. Other than that the wings were great, just the right amount of flavor. Will be coming back just not on Tuesdays.

Very nice Italian restaurant in Plantation, FL. I visited for the first time to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday night. Nice setting with a live Saxophonist. Everything we tried was delicious and our waitress was very attentive. Recommendations: Fried Mozzarella, Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio, Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Alfredo (Superb). Drinks: Antigal Uno Malbec (my personal fav) & Lychee Martini. Kids menu available with many pages of activities for kids. Ended the night with a Happy Birthday song and THE BEST tiramisu I ever had. It was off the charts good. I will definitely revisit.

Thank you, Vivace! Our experience from start to finish was molto bene!! Tommy was extremely kind and warm. Our server, Yaniv (apologies if that is incorrect), was accommodating and sweet as can be. He gave us some rolls to take home because we were OBSESSED. The picture below is eggplant parm and the presentation was beautiful, but the taste was even better. So much so, that I was unable to capture a picture before digging in. There was a saxophonist that serenaded us during our meal. I can’t speak highly enough about Vivace. We will be back. This is an exceptionally good restaurant, with great service and first class food. All very reasonably priced - a restaurant not to be missed.

Food was decent. But service is very slow and not attentive. Staff seemed overwhelmed but they were still polite. Some of our wine glasses were dirty.

Tommy and our waitress Marissa were incredible. Super attentive, they didn’t miss a beat. Food is insanely good. Me and my fiancé had the gnocchi and chicken Alfredo. I always order pizza from here but this is the first time dining in, and definitely won’t be the last!

We tried this place for the first time on a Friday night. When we arrived the restaurant was full but there wasn't anybody waiting. As the first party in kine, it took just over 45 minutes for us to be seated....at a table which didn't accommodate our party at all but we took it because it was getting ridiculous at that point. After we were set it took around 20 minutes for us to receive menus and water. Granted it was busy, but how hard is it to see the party with menus in hand and have a couple glasses of water ready so as to not infuriate them anymore? Table bread finally came about 50 minutes after we sat down - about 30 minutes after we ordered- despite us being told when we sat down that fresh bread is on its way. From the time we ordered until the food came out we didn't see our waiter one time. Someone else brought the appetizers, which were absolutely flavorless and we couldn't seem to flag anyone down for condiments or anything else we needed. The entrees took around an hour 10 minutes to be served- only for two to be cold and undercooked. It's odd how the pastas are served as well, in a type of salad bowl you would expect in something like a cafe with salads for lunch - not a very expensive Italian dinner restaurant such as this! For the price here, dinner should definitely come with soup or salad as I know restaurants which are a lot more elegant / upscale, around the same price point or less, have more generous portions and come with such option. Trying to get the check and to go boxes for our leftovers was another exercise in futility. The ambiance is quite decent - it's a shame nothing else is in the realm of acceptability at this place.

Have ordered here on occasion because it’s close to home.. every time. A BIG MISTAKE.. flavorless pizza that can’t decide if it’s New York Style or Neapolitan. Either way pizza made with a screen beneath dough. lol. Laughable. End result shows. Overpriced entrees chicken parm & 22.00 pasta Ala vodka.. last time .. I’ll travel farther from home.

We celebrated my daughter’s sweet 16 last weekend. I was so amazed on how everything was so beautiful. The table setting , to the seating area, the food and service was beyond exceptional. This place is amazing. I went for the first time today and was waited on by Tommy. He was excellent and very friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful with the blue dim lighting around the bar area, table lamps and velvet seating. There was also a saxophone player playing smooth jazz and holiday songs. I ordered a pizza and was pleasantly surprised that it was actually tasty. I’m from Chicago and most times find myself disappointed with the pizza in South Florida but this pizza was pretty good. I really enjoyed myself at Vivace and would definitely recommend. Perfect for a date night.

I've been eating here for about three years. My last visit will be my last visit. I normally order eggplant parmesean it was so tough I couldn't chew it. My son ordered linguine and claims which is usually delicious and it tasted rancid. We were offered a free cannoli. I took the cannoli, but I thought that offer was completely ridiculous. Since the remodel of the restaurant the food quality dropped significantly and the price is not justified.

I have gone once a week for a few months now and each entrée is delicious, the pizzas are good and the meatball appetizer was exceptionally wonderful. The desserts are delicious as well. They have just opened up a new cocktail lounge- very nicely decorated. An intimate atmosphere, but the way that it is arranged into three areas for eating and drinking, it is suitable for all kinds of occasions. Go, enjoy!

Went inside today for the first time to pickup my pizza at 12:30 pm for lunch and the chef very very nice and the server very very nice young gentlemen. A pleasure we order every week but my husband picks up. I'm glad I went in the restaurant is beautiful. Delicious pizza

Can't say enough great things about this restaurant. First impression: very easy to find, ample parking, beautiful decor and very well laid out restaurant. Staff is well dressed and extremely polite. Open concept to see pizza chef as he preps and makes the pies. Owners walk around to the tables and check on guests. We had several appetizers that we truly enjoyed. Bang bang shrimp, prosciutto and melon, Rocco's wings and they were all perfectly cooked. Presentation shows the chefs pride. The pizza ingredients were all top notch and the crust was thin which we love. Bombolini, key lime cheesecake, and caramel cheesecake was how we finished a perfect evening paired with homemade limoncello. We will be going back.

This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Tonight our group had the Pittsburgh Pizza, chicken parm, beet arugula salad and pasta. All was delicious. The atmosphere was even better with the live jazz music playing in the background. We will definitely be back to enjoy drinks in the beautiful added bar area. The space looks so inviting to enjoy drinks with your significant other or with friends.

Tommy was fantastic! Such a personal guy and made everything so enjoyable! We had the pittsburgh pizza, and being from pittsburgh which was 10/10

My friends and I celebrate each other's birthdays at various restaurants in Broward. Many of them in my group have eaten at Vivace when it was a smaller restaurant and loved it. We were there last night and they're in the process of expanding, the place looks really nice even though it's not finished yet. We started with fried calamari and garlic knots along with the free triangular breads that were absolutely delicious. Our main courses were chicken parmesan, pasta Bolognese and grilled salmon, everyone enjoyed their food, and sitting across from us were the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team. The general atmosphere was very festive and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that's loves unpretentious Italian food. Our complementary bambolino's filled with cannoli cream were to die for.

Stick to the pizza if you’re going to go. It attempts to be fancy so we tried to go for the steak and wine. Wine was served warm and skirt steak was tough and flavorless. It was expensive for the place, but was poor quality. I guess that’s we get for ordering steak at an Italian place. We ended eating from our kid’s leftover food which was pretty good. I can’t make any excuses for serving wine warm. That’s just poor management and staff training. I hope they see this and fix their issues so others don’t waste their money.

This is the awesome restaurant and the service very go and the manager espectacular. Thanks everybody

Stop here for lunch. Place looks nice. Had 2 slices of cheese pizza (YUMMY) and the lasagna lunch special, salad included. Prices were reasonable and the food was pretty good.

This was AWFUL. I went for lunch and ordered a simple chicken parm. I asked for bolognese sauce instead of tomato sauce. I was told it was a $4 up charge. Ok. NP. I asked for soup. I never got it. It was supposed to come with bread. AGAIN….never got it!! The chicken was made 3 days ago and was dry and burnt. I went based off of a recommendation from the Next Door app. It was terrible. I wasted my money at the end of the day on a slice of pizza and a soup that was blah.
