8/2024 It’s been a while since my last visit to Glycks, and I was tired of their overly sweet flavors. Today, I tried the macadamia dulce, which was a refreshing change—it wasn’t overly sweet like the others. I hope they consider offering one or two light-sugar gelato options in the future, such as lavender, Earl Grey, vanilla blueberry, or melon, so that those who need to watch their sugar intake can also enjoy their homemade gelatos. Update: unfortunately Glyk don’t offer seasonal flavors. They still have the same flavors and it gets boring. Competitions are growing and hope they put their act together. I don’t want them to close however whenever I go there, the place is always empty. I really prefer gelato than ice cream. Initial: We found Glyck 5 years ago and been going back whenever we are town. I used to remember that they have seasonal light flavors that won't put me in sugar coma but it seems they have not been doing that the past couple of years. I wish they do that again. It would be nice to see lavender or earl gray tea or something in that category for people who enjoys gelato on a lighter flavor most especially now that we are no longer snow birds. Hint.. hint.

If you’re ever in Parkland, Florida, do yourself a favor and stop by Glyk Gelato. This place is a gem, especially if you’re into vegan options. I was really impressed with how seriously they take keeping everything separate—no worries about cross-contamination here. You can indulge without the stress, which is a big deal for those of us who are careful about what we eat. And then there are the marionettes on the ceiling! They add this quirky, fun vibe that just makes the whole experience even better. It’s not just about grabbing a scoop of gelato; it’s about stepping into a little world of joy. Trust me, Glyk Gelato is worth the visit.

Most pistachio ice cream/gelato contains almond and food coloring. Glyk pistachio gelato tastes like pistachio, and isn't ridiculously sweet. Buy by the pint for best value. Affogato is also great, as is the milkshake.

This place is a gem! The gelato is delicious and creamy. Everything is made fresh daily by a trained gelato chef who learned the art of gelato making in Italy. A beautifully and tastefully designed store. Even the music playing transforms you to the streets of Italy.

I have been going to this place for years; it used to have the best ice cream in the area. However, recently, they have changed a lot. First, the size of the scoop has decreased while the price has increased (which is understandable given tough times). Second, the ice cream is not as good—I am not sure if the ingredients have changed. Third, and most frustratingly, are the new rules they have created regarding vegan options. I enjoy two different flavors, one vegan and one not, but now I can't have them together. It's incredibly frustrating that if you buy two scoops, they won't serve them separately. So if I want to have one vegan and one non-vegan scoop, I have to buy two separate one-scoop ice creams. That's totally unacceptable to me: poor customer service, a lack of flexibility, and a disregard for a long-time loyal customer. Given these issues, I hope to find a new place to enjoy ice cream around here.

I love it every time I go, I am served perfectly, their employees are super friendly and cute, ask for Karol and Cori, they will take great care of you, they have to go to the best ice cream parlor in the place 🤩🥰

Best GELATO you will find in South Florida. And there is something here that is hard to find elsewhere . . . a young staff that is courteous, polite, helpful, service oriented and very well trained.

Not many flavors available. Only regular ice cream. Never come back.

I used to come here all the time with my friends but I will no longer be doing so as my friend experienced racism (he is Arab Muslim) for simply asking about a flavor. The man serving him began berating him, telling him Arab people were incompetent and didn’t belong in the Middle East. All he did was ask what the name of a flavor meant. Really sad that you have to bring politics and racism into something as delightful as ice cream. Disappointing.

Silky taste, great selection lovely service! Was closed for a private event. However, they served a delicious ice cream for us so, many thanks for that, this is the way to run a very successful business! Don’t miss out!!! 100% recommended!

They had a great selection of rotating Gelatos, everything made in house. I tried the white chocolate cinnamon affagato. My wife had the banana creme which she is still talking about. I also tried pistachio, sweet corn and others. None of them disappointed. What are you doing still reading this? Just go.

Love this place. We originally weren’t going to come bc 20 min seemed too far compared to the 5 min one. But glad we did. The interior has a European feel to it, worker was nice, but the gelato was AMAZING. We tried vanilla, strawberry, pistachio, hazelnut, banana cream, and fior de lait. All flavors were sooo good and no complaints.

If you're trying to find a gelato that tastes like the normal gelato you get in Italy. I'll tell you what, this is the spot to go! The baby happened to say, "I want the red one from Glyk," which he understood to mean the strawberry-flavored one, while I was visiting a friend. He emphasized that cute babies get what they want, even though I wanted to dine at another ice cream shop. Oh my goodness, finest choice ever! Very tasty! I sampled the Belgian chocolate and the sweet corn. Even though I live forty miles away, I wouldn't mind making the daily drive to this incredible location just to get gelato. I also brought my family a pint of sweet corn to sample.

Ok gelato. Terrible service. Can't sample before paying. Server picked a cup off the floor and put my kid's gelato inside it. Had to insist to get new ice cream in a new cup. Definitely not sanitary or kid friendly! We won't be back.

best gelato I’ve ever had. I always want tô come back here. We recommended it tô everyone we know. Best place ever. Beautiful environment too. The best gelato is definitely the Nutella and mint chocolate chip by far. The mint chocolate chip has literally bits of mint leaves. I love it so much.

If you're looking for a gelato that reminsces you to the typical ones you eat in Italy. Let me tell you this place is the one to go to! I was visiting a friend and the baby happen to be like "I want the red one from Glyk" red one for him meant the Strawberry flavor one. I wanted to eat at another ice cream place but he insisted so cute babies get what they want. Omg best decision ever! Soooo delicious! I had the Sweet Corn and the Belgian Chocolate. Mind I live 40 miles away but I wouldn't mind driving every single time to get gelato from this amazing place. I also took a pint of Sweet Corn so my family could try. Beautiful Gelateria. Amazing Gelatos! Knowledgeable Gelato chef makes new flavors. See for yourself. The traditional Fior di Latte Gelato taken with espresso makes the perfect Affogato. The Vanilla Gelato with Madagascar vanilla beens is great. Perfection is achieved with the pistachio Gelato that has real Bronte Sicilian pistachios, simply out of this world. If you are a real Gelato lover this is the place to go.

The place has a really nice ambiance with the terrifying dolls that hang from the ceiling, staring intently at you while you're not looking. The gelato is the shiznits and I would highly recommend this place. PS - I do miss the torturous Disney styled music

I’m going to preface this by saying I can never finish any ice cream, gelato, or anything of the sort. Glyk Gelato had the most delicious tasting gelato in the world, the vanilla tastes like real vanilla and the chocolate as well. I also had the peanut butter chocolate chip (I don’t even like peanut butter) it was so good! All of their products just taste so real so delicious I highly recommend to everyone! The staff were really friendly and the store itself is clean and cozy. Ps. I drove almost an hour just to have this gelato, it was very worth it!

Cute ambience, friendly staff. Had a late night craving for gelato. Ordered the cookies and cream. Prices were reasonable. The only thing was there was barely any Oreo in the gelato so it just ended up tasting like vanilla. I still liked it though, will be back to try different flavors.

This gelato is my favorite in South FL. Portions are good and the taste is noticeably flavorful. We have been going here for about 5 years and we always leave fulfilled!

I can’t even begin to explain why I love this place. First of all the gelato was absolutely amazing (I would give more stars if I physically could) and so was the cheese cake. Second of all the place is so stinking cute and third of all the staff members were friendly and kind. I never do this but I asked for three flavor samples, and they were super cool about it. Great products and excellent service. Can’t wait to go back.

Cute little gelato place.. such a serene ambience and decor. We look forward to coming here for our dessert fix whether we dine out and don’t mind driving all the way as it never fails to delight us. I am a big fan of their pistachio gelato. My kids love vanilla and cookies and cream. They have friendly staff. Options of indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a must visit in the area
