Amazing store, super friendly staff & well stocked....100% recommend for people collectors like me.

If you're into Anime or D&D you will love this place. It also as lots of figures from movies like Jaws. Indian jones and even Princess Bride. It also has lots of comics. This place is hard to explain, it as lots more to see it is definitely must visit. We went for our 2 lads and took lots of photos and video and they have both said when they visit in February they are going to spend all there money in there.

Im glad I came here. They have a cool bar spot in the back with good drinks. The store in the front is a heaven for comic book lovers. The workers in the store know their stuff about a lot of the comics in there. 10/10 would recommend!

Really cool place. Visiting from UK. This place has excellent stock for reasonable prices. Only brought a couple of bits, but if you are into D&D, comics and figures and are near by you need to check it out👍

Well hidden but a little gem with lots to see. Prices seemed a little steeper than I'm used to but I think that's a US thing as everything has rocketed in price over there recently. Has a cool bar at the back and is well worth a visit.

Looking for another great comic book, anime, figurine collectible shop in South Orlando... definitely check this place out! They have a great selection of comics and plenty of back issues to go through. There are also plenty of pretty cool toys, figurines, and unique items here as well. The store is well organized and clean so the experience makes it more enjoyable to look through and shop. The staff was friendly as well which is a plus! Instantly became one of my sons favorite comic shops especially in South Orlando. Definitely check it out!

Great selection and cool vault!

Awesome comic book store-so many options from new too old and a bar inside at the very back. Yes please! Loved it.

Looks like a great comic shop but went there for the Fallout themed bar. Bartender was excellent, expected more Fallout influence in the location though. Still recommend it for the fans just don't expect to be stepping into the show or game.

Lovely comic book shop with great people working there!

The crew in this store is top notch. I went in to downsize my collection and trade-in. Al and Tom and the rest of the store associates were super helpful, kind ,and willing to work with me on trade-in offers. The process was so simple and easy. Incredibly professional group who know how to have fun and enjoy the stuff that you can find in-store. Not to mention, the store itself is super cool. Not many comic shops that offer the variety that Gods & Monsters offer. They have stuff for the anime and manga lovers all the way to the Marvel & DC fans. They cover the whole gamut so I'm positive anyone can find something they're looking for in there. They are a mom-and-pop shop so just know you're supporting an awesome local business when you buy from them. Support local! Plus there's a bar inside... Might have to stop in for a drink sometime lol.

I expect more, and as tourists, the service wasn't helpful with us the experience wasn't good. The person wasn't attending I was asking for some comics he it wasn't there and I some of then on the boxes I'm a tourists and get to you're store on taxi with my family I told the person to call a taxi for me and my family and he said taxis didn't go there and it seem like he didn't want to help really sorry to do that because I love the industry but I use to work in store in my country and that said a bad example.

Awesome store, unfortunately they don't carry pokemon singles. I'll have to check out the vault next time I'm in the area

Absolutely wonderful store! They have everything: comic books, TCG, RPG, board games, action figures, statues and a wealth of other collectibles. Stocking new, vintage and pre-owned, you should find something to your taste.

This place is a pleasant surprise. They have a little bit of everything within the realm of pop culture. I was able to find a haunted mansion comic at a reasonable price. This place is clean and has plenty to sniff through. They've also got a really cool anime collection. There's a bar in the back and it is awesome to check out. Do be aware that the bar area is small and only has seating lining the wall. If you aren't a fan of cramped places, then this is not the place for you.

Quite a place all kinds of comics and figures

On a mission to find special gifts, I finally made it here. My eclectic mind was spinning on what direction to goto first, as I saw so many great items. This place is a dreamworld full of cool comics, games, books, toys, etc. I also saw a lot of good tools for my oracle self to use (various cards and dice). I especially loved the Speakeasy in the back. I'm learning that Orlando has a great selection of cool stores but this is my favorite comic store, good selection. A couple of weeks ago, I had the inclination that a special July celebration was on the horizon. So similar to a Christmas in July, I was trying to find something(s) from the heart to give but also sharable to create memories. I first had to think, Who Do We Think We Are?, and what would be fitting. I first thought, a family dinner with celebration cake, balloons, and confetti, and then a new goldendoodle puppy popped into my heart, then I thought home theatre movie nights with nightcap toys. Mortal Kombat rang in my ear so then I thought games for Xbox? Playstation? and/or Role Playing/ RPG board games? Or should I just get a costume and hire myself as the family massage therapist. As The Danleers called it, You're Everything, so I say all of the above but its a surprise.

Gods & Monsters is a fantastic little comic and toy shop that has something for everyone. From graphic novels to pop vinyls to vintage collectibles, the selection is impressive. The highlight, however, is Vault 5421, an incredible addition to the shop and a perfect spot for locals to enjoy before it gets discovered by tourists. For introverts, I recommend showing up at opening, as it fills up quickly. The bartender at Vault 5421 was wonderful and helpful, making the experience even better. The store staff was equally friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive vibe. Whether you’re a comic enthusiast or a collector, Gods & Monsters is definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful store with plenty that a geek like myself would love to pick up. Great staff with plenty of knowledge. I went in for their table top rpg section and was very satisfied that they had way more then just D&D and Pathfinder. Will definitely come back again when I am on vacation in Orlando.

Gods and Monsters is a really good comic shop and just a decent bar. When they say it's a hole in the wall, they mean it. The drinks are good, but the space is really small. Come here during the weekday for a good time, but the weekend, it's a bit too cramped. I hope they can buy the other space to expand it. Will come back to buy comics though!

This store looks tiny from the outside but SURPRISE! It's huge on the inside. We made a stop here on our way out of orlando (universal studios visit) to wait for soupa-saiyan to open up. We dropped almost $500 and I still called them to buy more when I got home and they are shipping it to me. I can't rave enough about them! Go see them!

Super dope store, has a lot of collectibles and great priced items. They also sell a few records as well. Now my favorite thing about this store is the fallout bar in the back! We passed by like an hour and a half before they closed which is at 1 am and it was so much fun!! The vine was great and the bar was full of people. It is small and cramped but the decor was amazing and the wasteland bartender was fantastic! I had a peach blackberry cider and that was delicious! I definitely recommend to check out the store and the bar!!

I don’t typically leave a review for any place good or bad, but I have to say that if you are into anything “nerd” related and you are in Orlando this is a must place to stop by. They have everything you could want from horror to comics to anime to a full on bar serving patrons and the staff are excellent at every turn. There is so much stuff to see and shop through and this place is a 10/10.

Super cool spot if you're looking for anything comic, DND, sci-fi, or nerdy things in general. Aside from the main store the back is a bar with retro games to play with friends. it's definitely a good spot to swing through if you wanna have some fun and buy some cool items.

Tom & Mel were both fantastic! They were patient and courteous. Tom helped me out today over the phone and then again in person! My son will have some amazing dino’s thanks to these two. Pop culture out the wazooo! Kind employees, inclusive. Lots of stuff, not just comics. I personally like the loose collectables. More affordable. Plus the have a Mad Max/Fallout themed area (bar?)

If you are into D&D or comics or collectable figures this is a must visit. Staff are really nice and the wee dog is lovely.

Great store to browse in and see all the stuff. Prices are BADLY inflated. A booster box of Lorcana cards that goes for 120-140 elsewhere locally is sold for 185! The packs are 8+ apiece. Insane gouging. Walked out without spending a dime.

We travel to Orlando once a year. My boys love comic book stores and we generally visit another store in the area but a friend told us to check out Gods and Monsters. We had such a great experience here!!! Both of my boys got the trade paper backs they were looking for and the lovely young woman working there spent time with my 3 year old son. They both share the love of Spider-Man. She went and got him a Spidey and friends comic book!!!! He loves it and wouldn’t part with it for hours. We will be back next year!

We were visiting from Virginia and I discovered this little shop via Instagram. I loved the vibe from their socials and decided we had to check it out. I've been to lots of comic book stores, and while I've never had a bad experience, I've also not been greeted as enthusiastically as we were here. There's tons packed into the space but it's clean and organized, the employees were incredibly helpful and I really appreciated how attentive they were to our kids. We left happy with our comics and huge bonus we got to give Trinket some treats.

What an amazing experience for my kids. There was help and guidance for all their passions the moment they entered the door. My kids are on the Spectrum and can struggle with socialization and interruptions… but they did excellent with their patience and kindness. I especially enjoyed talking with Thomas while Melinda took over with the kids like a pro. Just moved to Florida and I can tell our family will be a long time customer. ;) Cheers

The place has everything a nerd could possibly ask for, regardless of what your thing is! They had all the bases covered. They even had a bar in the back, although it was closed when we went, they allowed us to walk around and take pictures!

There is a cute dog so this store is an automatic win. But beyond that the inside is so pretty and the staff were very kind as well! They had a volume of the bocchi manga in stock, and I've been keeping an eye out for it in stores for a while now, so it really made my day! C:

I decided to stop at Gods & Monsters for the first time today to grab some last minute gifts and check for Lorcana stock. Tom and Melinda were so knowledgeable, kind, and patient while giving me recommendations and answering all of my questions. Such a welcoming atmosphere and something for everyone. I will 100% be coming back to shop and check out the bar!

Walked in knowing almost nothing about DnD and desperately needing a gift for my boyfriend who loves it. I asked for help and Melinda was so nice, knowledgeable and patient while helping me decide and he ended up loving it. Will definitely stop by again!

I loved the place, so many things to look at! manga, comics, dnd, tcg, anime and my favorite the gatcha machines! i got some tokens to try the machines out and i got a duplicate, the staff was so nice and let me try one more time <3 great customer service, fair prices and good stock.

We visited Gods and Monsters from Michigan. We don’t have any shops quite this cool in the metro Detroit area - a comic/collectibles shop with a speakeasy in the back :) We chatted with Tom and Melinda, who were both very knowledgeable, while we were there. The shop is clean and organized by interest and it’s a delight to walk around and browse. We were too early for the speakeasy to be open but the Vault is one of the coolest rooms I’ve ever seen! Highly recommend if you’re a geek to stop in and say “Hi” to Trinket (pictured) and admire all the amazing treasures.

Super cool shop! One of the biggest and best I've ever been too. Lots of full size and other cool props and displays to look at, they even have a really intricate themed bar in the back of their shop which I've never seen before! Worth checking out!

Super cool local shop with a bit of everything! Marvel, DC, Pokemon, comics, Star Wars and so much more! There’s also a little speakeasy style bar in the back that is apocalypse themed that seemed super cool. Definitely worth a stop by if you’re into this type of thing!
