I gave 2 stars for food not for the taste but the portion. I've had the lunch special at other franchises and received a good amount. Price increased and food portion got much smaller and doesn't include drink. Maybe the person sharing was new and afraid, but I definitely didn't get the amount seen in previous comments.

The best bang for your buck is the lunch special for $7. Hell, I’d pay $10.

Food was really delicious 😋🤤. Awesome staff members. I had the oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. Really delicious.

This was the worst Caribbean food that I’ve ever tasted! I know you had to sample it before serving it. If I wasn’t so far I would’ve returned it. Shame on you!!

The food is not the same. I know Caribbean food and that’s not it anymore. From what I saw it looks like the cook doesn’t know how to cook Caribbean food. I had brown stew and the chicken was hard and the seasoning wasn’t good. The spanish rice and no taste. I will not be going back to there to eat.

I could not believe that I almost ate that… I literally started crying because I could not believe that that made its way into the food. Clearly the food isn’t cleaned properly and God forbid I get sick from this. DO NOT EAT HERE

I got a large curry goat, white rice w/oxtail gravy, and plantains..no cabbage. The goat was super tender, the whole meal was delicious. Plus, she loaded me up for $15.99 + tax.

I purchased a jerk chicken dinner. The chicken was hard. It appeared like it was from 4 or 5 days ago. I won’t be going there again. What has happened to these restaurants.

Went there to buy a fry dumplin and brown stew chicken breakfast. First time at this location and the food taste like it’s been sitting there since last week. It was really bad, dumplings were tough and the chicken taste weird. I couldn’t finish it. Waste of time and money, I was hurt because I was starving.

Came into the restaurant at about 5 PM on a Wednesday. Was not greeted by the cashier for minutes then I order the brown stew chicken it taste like it could’ve been dogmeat. The rice was dry and hard. Never again.

I really like the food. Vegan and vegetarian options more than rice and peas... that goes a long way. Take out only. Parking sucks. But they are nice and helpful. Management is very nice as well. Island attitude, but if you know you know.

Decent food for the price. I would have appreciated some real oxtail gravy all over my rice that was half dry. The curried chicken was just some mashed up pieces, not what we were expected. The jerk pork order that we went paid for was missing. Please add some decent ustensiles including spoons and knives not just forks.

I had wrote had a review a couple two weeks ago,a month ago to be exact and i don't normally leave numerous reviews but i have to leave a review.On Friday Afternoon,i paid a visit to your business establishment and ordered two large curried goat meals with white rice,steamed cabbage,the and plaintains,with a pineapple soda.The rice was cooked perfectly,the curry goat however just did not taste like curried goat,the steam cabbage was not steamed properly.Perhaps try creating a special curry mixture because none of your curry dishes simply does not taste like curry.The server who was serving the dinner special i ordered at first was very pleasant at greeting customers at first and when she was serving whatever dinner specials that were ordered by customers.Upon checking out the young man was very polite but upon examining my orders i see that the curried goat dinners were not up to my standards,it was mostly bones and less meat.I simply said to the cashier could you tell the server that she can put more meat in both disposable styrofoam containers and the server replied what??So the cashier told her she want more meat and her respond was what more meat do she want in the container and sucked her teeth.I simply told the cashier don't even worry about it,stress about it or let it get it to you.I nicely,politely,peacefully and calmly exited your business establishment. But i must add the server had a nasty attitude and a unwelcoming deameanor about her.And individuals like her should not be dealing with customers or be representing your business.I must add the the male cashier was very polite and courteous.But the female server was very rude,impolite,have a nasty attitude and some form of disclipinary action need to taken against her for being rude and having an unwelcoming deameanour.

One day a couple months back i had came into your business establishment and ordered white rice and curried chicken,and one large soup.And to be honest i was very,very highly disappointed.The white rice was slightly burnted,the curry chicken definitely lacked flavour,and from looking on the curry chicken it lacked colour like whoever seasoned the curry chicken standed from a mile or two away and put the curry seasoning on the meat.It was very unsatisfactory.Not only that,the amount i paid for a large curried chicken,the portions of the chicken was not what i expected.I got the serving of a small.And when i told the cashier to put more meat and less gravy........and put the gravy in a seperate container by itself so i can apply the gravy how i see fit.....she looked at me like i was speaking a different language.Now to address the topic of the red peas soup i told her i wanted more dumplings,more meat and soup.I instead got a whole bunch of soup,lots of ground provisions,and god bless the amount of meat that was placed in the soup.Absolutely ridiculous.I was very highly disappointed.Golden Krust,your employees ought to do better.We are paying customers not some homeless people begging on the streets for food to eat.And we should be treated as such.What your employees fail to realize is that we are paying customers that are contributing to their paychecks.So therefore if a customer has made a special request for a order that they are paying for,the request should be carried out with any hestitation. Disgusting…be very careful!!!!! I usually only go here for bun n cheese or patties. I went here this past Sunday due to craving curry chicken and decided to give them a try since they’re near my job. They had dirty rice available. First off the dirty rice wasn’t normal dirty rice it had all kinds of s**T in it and the curry chicken was not done. The chicken was pink as hell. I been sick every since!!!!!

Prices have gotten a little out of touch for the quantity that is usually served. I find that if the portions match the price and the quality is there we don't mind paying.

I guess they are under new management? I went in today and the Coco bread was DRY, this was the first time I've ever had dry coco bread from a restaurant. I am not amused.

This place is good! They have become my family! Everyday I go for my breakfast because it's very tasty, reasonably priced and workers are very friendly! I take great pleasure in recommending this wonderful restaurant.

Mixed feelings: There were no signs indicating a luch menu was available. As a first time visitor, I only found out because the person in front of me asked for it. I had the stew chicken which was good with a hint of sweet which isn't my favorite. Friendly staff and speedy service makes it a recommended occasional visit.

I LOVE going to this place. The lady behind the counter is always so welcoming. As a regular she already knows my order. If you get there before the lunch hour traffic service is fast. I like that they stay busy that means a good thing. The food taste great and it's very clean. The staff changes from time to time but they are friendly. The music they play is awesome.

Well the Patties were definitely made with love. The manager (I believe she was) was very pleasant and beautiful. I wonder if she made them. Anyways I couldn't pay with my Amex card but it was all worth walking to the atm.
