Ordered special fried rice, and it's was nothing special and a large pepper steak, and it was absolutely horrible. Worst Chinese food I have ever tried. 100% I would not recommend this place to anyone...!!!

Great place to grab Asian-inspired food while being on a budget.

Ordered food from them and they gave us old reheated food. The stuff was not fresh and my stomach now feels weird .Never again . These people take us for idiots selling overnight food reheating and selling it. They should be reported to the health department

I ordered sesame chicken combo. Usually it's good, but this time the children was hard and chewing not good. I called to complain and they told me it was probably a bad batch .. A restaurant saying it was probably a bad batch is scary. Not ordering again from. Hong Kong kitchen.

This is my favorite Chinese food. I know the owners and they are very sweet and nice. The food is great. Place is always clean. Friendly. Great place. Our favorite is the house special fried rice, wings or honey garlic and also you cant forget eggrolls. Love the hot sauce they carry.

Should teach your team at least to communicate with customer. Food was bad and service even worse.

Waked in within an hour of closing to be told they were only taking takeout orders. No diners inside. No signs on the door. One guy playing on his phone in the middle of the counter who likely wanted to go home early but definitely didn’t want to work. Our $50+ ticket walked right back out the door. We found dinner elsewhere.

Terrible Food. Ordered pork chow mein, it had No noodles, all shredded onion. General tso chicken was completely dried out and covered in a sweet tomatoey sauce. Egg rolls tasted terrible, poor quality filling. This was the second time I tried and even more disappointing.

Back in 2019 I came to this place all the time from grandmas house across the street to get some Chinese food one day I came in to buy sweet sour with fried rice while I was eating I bite into a piece of glass and since that day I knew they didn’t care about food quality while cooking, every chicken flavor i try seems as if all the sauces are the same with every flavor tasting like duck sauce as the base mixed with something else and call it general Tso the chicken tastes like the sweet and sour duck sauce I use to dip my egg rolls in. this place has deceitful unauthentic Asian recipes and also unsafe to eat as you bite into the food I already seen a review before on here stating a women found a roach but decided to still trust

I hadn't been here in a while. Once upon a time, it was good. I ordered a simple sweet and sour chicken. I had to dump it. It tasted old and stale and they put the sauce on the side. No effort, no flavor nothing. Next time I'll drive a little further to Tein Tein.

The appearance inside the store is the only thing I found reasonable and that’s only because som many Chinese restaurants are losing their touch on quality. I’ve been having a decent healthy diet and working out so I thought why not treat myself to some Chinese food? Initially called to place the order for lunch specials and was surprised to hear that their lunch specials were basically $10. Much higher then the anticipated and usual $5-$7 doller range for a lunch . I didn’t think much of it but my first mistake was not looking at the reviews and stars they were to first to pop and I was hungry so decided to give them a shot. When I got there to pick it up he atmosphere wasn’t bad so I thought the food would translate the same way and the price would be justified… I was greatly mistaken. The bourbon chicken I got was so hard and bland it wasn’t even funny and the same thing was said by my father who got the chicken and vegetable… the sauce didn’t make up for the terribly cooked chicken cause it was too busy being in flavorful itself. The fried rice was such a disappointment, tasted like leftovers or just a bad batch of rice. I wanted to call them back really badly to let them hear but I ultimately decided to just write it out here instead in hopes people don’t make the same mistake as me. DON’T DO IT

I have been going to this restaurant for 10+ years but my last 2 experiences were quite disappointing. My last visit there yesterday was definitely the final straw. I spent $60+ for what tasted like days old leftovers. The quart of special fried rice was hard and only had meat at the top...LITERALLY! The beef and broccoli was horrible. The broccoli was tasteless. The beef was a different, strange texture. The wonton soup was horrible. It tasted like they mixed old and new wontons. The absolute only thing I enjoyed from this $60+ meal was the eggrolls and wonton soup BROTH. I will not be returning...EVER!

I once enjoyed the food at Hong Kong Kitchen in Miramar. However, my visit to this location prove to be quiet disappointing. I ordered the special fried rice with Honey chicken chunks. The rice was tasteless. The honey sauce for the chicken was filled with sugar. I could see the grains of sugar crystal and crunch them as I chewed. Need I mention I'm a diabetic and it elevated my glucose level extremely high. I won't be going back there to kill myself with sugar. There honey is not diabetic friendly.

Inside the restaurant has a stench, I ask about it and the boy said he don't know what it is. I bought 6 wings and only got 3, they cut 1 wing in 2 pieces and call it 2 pieces.

The Honey Chicken and the Ribs are always good, but it is a hit or miss with the fried rice. Sometimes is very good and sometimes not so good.

Food was good, ambiance not so much. I was on business and wanted to be serviced a nice Chinese lunch. They give it to you in a to-go container/bag. You can sit down inside, but no personal service. Like I said, food was good, but I'll never return.

Bourbon chicken was good, I got it with chicken lo mein, and crab Rangoon. Portions were massive and these were the most heavily stuffed Rangoon's I have ever seen. I wish I lived closer as this would be my new go-to for Chinese for sure.

Good food , but the prices have been increasing. If you want the best value, go during lunch 11-3pm for a meal with a drink. It's almost $10 now. I blame it on covid. But the food is always hot and good. They also give big portions.

They didn't have the dish i wanted, however, theman was very helpful and patient. He helped me choose another one. The portions were huge and the food really good. The crab Rangoon were large and stuffed. Prices were very reasonable. Will be back

Visitamos este restaurante dos veces en dos semanas. En ambas ocasiones fue para llevar. El lugar es muy limpio, el comedor, aunque no lo usamos estaba muy bien decorado y el ambiente parece muy apropiado para una cena informal. La comida es deliciosa y el servicio no falta nada. Sin duda volveremos para una tercera visita.

I tried Hong Kong Kitchen based on the 2 avaialable reviews and found its not to good. First they didn't get my order right, I had ordered Pork Lo Mein and got chicken and the chicken was a very weird texture. And the pork Fried rice tasted burnt. I have yet to find a great chinese place in this area. But the place did look very clean when I went in.

Considering previous experiences w/ Chinese take-out in similarly sad areas of Miami & Broward that are 'on the bubble', I wasn't expecting much but was VERY surprised at the high quality food. The fried rice rivaled Benihana's: moist, nicely seasoned, with large chunks of tender BBQ pork (not the usual dessicated pieces of red-dyed pig flesh). The pepper steak was bathed in a great brown sauce and had massive chunks of green pepper and onion, as well as unspectacular but tasty chunks of beef. I didn't eat in, but sampled the bathroom, which was very clean. Clearly, the owners are seeking to rise above their often tragic surroundings and actually provide taste and value. For $7, with a soda, I was pleased, and will go back.

We had take-out food from Hong Kong Kitchen at a friend's house, and we were surprised at how good it was. We decided to actually eat at the restaurant, and have been doing so now and then for some time. The food is consistently good, as is the service. The prices are very low, the portions are large, and the selection is huge. The dining room is spotlessly clean and well lighted, and the whole place is clearly a family operation. I particularly like the Pork or Shrimp Lo Mein, while my wife LOVES the Beef and Broccoli. We've tried other dishes, and have yet to find a bad one. The place is in a shopping center with a supermarket, drugstore, and a McDonald's. The neighborhood is not a very good one, and I wouldn't want to be here at midnight, but it seems okay during the daylight hours. The fact that we have become regular customers over the past few years should tell you something. We enjoy Hong Kong Kitchen, and frequently recommend it to our friends.
