Mrs. Carissa and her team help me bring to life a masquerade themed cake for my daughter’s sweet 16. Our cake had two tiers of vanilla with the outer layer being fondant with vanilla buttercream and a strawberry tier. There was absolutely not one piece of cake left. The cake was moist and delicious. It is pure important to let your cake sit and follow the instructions that they give upon pickup. I learned that if you cut too soon it’ll taste dry. Cakes are usually cooled and stored when decorated. Therefore if you cut a cake that’s still the temp of the fridge it may taste dry. This cake was perfect and my daughter’s guests really enjoyed it! We got the boujee bundle and they enjoyed the treats as well. I apologize I don’t have a picture of the treats.

They did my wedding cake it was more then I expected when I ordered it all white they said they could add flowers they did it so beautifully and delivered on time and the taste was to die for 3 flavors the bottom carrot the middle vanilla with lemon filling but the best is yet to come the top for our anniversary is strawberry lemonade can't wait.

I got a vintage heart cake and 12 cupcakes for my birthday party. When I went to pick up my order the cake wasn't perfect but customer service was great they fixed my concerns in a timely fashion. The bundle prices are reasonable and fair. My only complaint is the cakes weren't light and fluffy they were more dense. Also the buttercream they use is really sweet so slices were best enjoyed taking off the extra icing. All in all not bad. The heart cake was so beautiful after alterations. Made my birthday very special.

I decided to try Gourmet Goodies Bake Shop after reading the positive reviews. You are greeted cheerfully when you walk in. They have a variety of cupcakes and brownies prepackaged and a display case of other goodies. They had 6" decorated cakes that I assume were grab and go. I ordered a 6" birthday cake, gave them a picture of what I was wanting. When I picked up the cake an associate walked me out to my car and helped me secure the cake in my car to prevent damage to the cake in travel. The cake was beautiful and delicious. Excellent customer service. Ill be back for sure.

Our cake tasting was very helpful, they talked us through exactly how much cake we needed to make sure we could save our top tier for our one year anniversary. We had a 3 tier cake with vanilla and vanilla buttercream filling, chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling, and marble cake with cookie & cream buttercream filling and a half sheet of vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. Our guest raved about the cake being so good. We cut into the marble with cookies and cream and that was our favorite!

Gourmet Goodies is absolutely amazing! They made a custom cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. They were so helpful and creative! The cake was SUCH a hit with her and all her friends (and their parents!). It was so delicious and the additional goodies (chocolate covered oreos and pretzels) were amazing! Thank y'all so much! Gourmet Goodies created the most beautiful AND delicious cake for our wedding!! We had such a great experience with them from the beginning; everyone on their team is so kind and went out of their way to make sure the design and the flavors matched what we wanted. They made the perfect cake for our vintage Hollywood-inspired wedding and our guests all loved the flavors! As a bonus, they made AMAZING gluten-free vanilla cupcakes as well; our guests with gluten allergies loved them and said they couldn't even tell they were gluten-free! They ruined my wedding cupcake flavors. (They brought one billion of two flavors instead of the correct number of four flavors) then argued and said I changed from four flavors to two when I most certainly did not. Completely unhelpful, completely useless as a company. The cakes they did bring did taste good- they just suck butt on every other level. Would recommend for a quick treat, would not recommend for any important event.

Gourmet Goodies Bake Shop recently did the wedding cake and groom’s cake for our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding reception. Both cakes turned out perfectly and were so delicious! From the tasting and designing to the finished product, they were extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them for all of your special occasion and bakery needs!

Save your money! Cupcakes were old & dry, flavors were lacking. Chocolate chip cookie was a paperweight and gritty.

I have always loved Desert, but today Gourmet Goodies helped me realize Desert should always be magical. Outstanding customer service doesn't describe the extraordinary kindness and attentiveness shown to me and my fiance. Right outside the bakery, a fountain surrounded by radiant greenery fills the air with nostalgic smells of summer and the soft sounds of a flowing river. To the owners and employees of this fine establishment, thank you for making my day special. Thank you for making me a priority. Thank you for all the hard work and effort you put into not only making a fantastic product but an equally fantastic experience.

Some staff is wonderful and some are very rude. I expect to have a friendly experience each time. I drove over 30 minutes and passed other bakeries on my way, if I had wanted rude I could have went to any random one closer. I drove here because of past my experience but today was not consistent with what I experienced in the past.

Ordered sugar cookies, first time they were soft and the taste was great, then ordered them the second time and they were not they were hard and so was the icing on it. I advised them, was told should have put them in the microwave.. how about you put a date on them cause I am sure they were from the week before… not a fan…

Ordered $120 birthday cake for it to be really dry when we tried it at the party. Also, when I told the OWNER my daughter’s name while ordering she said, “What did you do to that poor child?” After complaining I received a 50% refund, but it was a bad experience overall. They even tried to say because I ordered a marble cake that’s why it tasted dry because it takes longer for mixed cake flavors to bake? Okay well if you guys can’t make a moist marble cake maybe don’t offer it on the menu.

I have always loved the cupcakes from this shop before it even had a storefront. The cakes and just as fantastic and, while this time I just wanted a plain simple cake, when I came in to pick it up I saw same cakes with truly fabulous designs.

The assignment- Beauty and the Beast wedding cake with a classic, elegant understatement with a side of Hidden Mickey. Mission Accomplished! Not only did it hit the mark on design- the cake was absolutely scrumptious! If you’re not a fan of fondant, they may change your mind. The fondant was a thin layer, backed with frosting- not over the top and overdone. Note: the florist added the flowers and added the Minnie and Mickey earrings to the caketopper. (Their mates were in the Bride’s Bouquet and Groom’s Boutonnière to be reunited for the Bride to wear for years to come and remember their special day.)

The cake is amazing! It’s not too sweet and moist. I highly recommend.

They made me a Birthday cake last minute and it was beautiful and so delicious! Definitely go visit them and try one of everything! The cookies are so good! My mom has called from another state 2 years in a row on my birthday and surprised me with cake. Today I went in for my birthday cupcake and they had my birthday cake surprise for me and sang happy birthday to me! Andrea is great so nice everyone there is!

Love their cookies. Lots of variety baked fresh everyday. Haven’t tried anything else yet but they have sugar cookies, stuffed cookies, cupcakes and custom cakes. They all look delicious 😋 Staff is always friendly, patient and helpful. I recommend to follow their instagram for updates on new items and cake designs. Definitely recommend try the cowboy cookie it has hints of cinnamon, oatmeal and regular chocolate chip.

Gourmet Goodies baked, decorated, and delivered my wedding cake. The process from start to finish was simple (and tasty). We showed them our inspiration, went over the details of the cake, and provided direction when we needed help. We were allowed to taste and combine whatever cake and icing we wanted and allowed to show our personality in the details. They delivered on time and were good with communication. They truly made a beautiful cake - and importantly (I think) the cake was AMAZING!!! It was so tasty the day of and everyone enjoyed their flavor. (I even saw a couple people sneaking another piece) Thank you Gourmet Goodies!!

I am very pleased with my daughter’s wedding and grooms cakes from Gourmet Goodies! Carissa was very friendly and helpful when trying to decide what and how much we needed. The best part was them making dog figurines for the cake at my daughters request. I will definitely use them again!

The best bakery in Polk County!!! What’s most important, is trust. I know when I ask GG to make us a cake they will deliver not only a beautiful cake but a very delicious one at that. They have an attention to detail and ask all the right questions to get our order, just right. You can even swing in for a yummy cupcake, tasty macaroons and so much more. Thank you for yet another fantastic cake for our celebration.

Our wedding cake was supposed to be vanilla so imagine the surprise when we cut into it and it was chocolate! I paid Scars Farm and Event venue an all inclusive fee that covered X amount for the cake, however I added additional cup cakes to the order and paid for that directly so Gourmet Goodies would not refund the portion I paid towards the cake. Only the additional amount I paid towards the cup cakes. The service during cake tasting was also very unfriendly. The owner apologized and promised to reprimand whoever didn’t know the difference between chocolate and vanilla!

We ordered a vanilla wedding cake and during our reception, we cut into it to surprisingly discover chocolate cake.

Got some cookies here, they were not great. I expect more from 'gourmet' they were very doughy and taste like they were all started as sugar cookie batter and let's just throw in a few chocolate chips to make chocolate chip cookies. One had very few chocolate chips and one had to many. The peanut butter tasted like a sugar cookie with a very slight peanut flavor. I really wish I had just bought some chips ahoy.

I worked with gourmet goodies for their grinchmas event and they were amazing to work with.. the staff was great and so kind. We got to try some treats and the strawberry cupcake and red velvet cupcake were delicious!!

We had a cake made for my sons Red, White & Two birthday, and they did amazing!! It was absolutely delicious, and was just what I asked for. Will definitely be using them for all of our custom cakes! Adding a second review for the second custom cake Gourmet Goodies did for us- this time it was my second sons first birthday and we did the theme “Rookie of the Year”. They nailed it. It was perfect & absolutely delicious. It also came with a free smash cake!

I love arriving at any wedding (I'm an Officiant so at a lot of those) and seeing a beautiful cake - because I know Gourmet Goodies always creates the most detailed and gorgeous one. Last weekend though, I was invited to take a treat or two with me. Besides being beautiful, the cookie was thick, soft in the center with just the right amount of crunch. The frosting was enough to enhance the overall flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. The macaron was light, flavorful and an absolute delight. I highly recommend this wonderful bakery - for any event (but especially weddings)

Walked in and no one said a word. There was maybe 3/4 women working at the time. Then when another lady walked in, “hi welcome” I love trying local businesses but the cookies here did not taste how I expected. Plus the service was terrible 😞. No real flavor and just tasted like dough in a way. The red velvet cheesecakes I ordered taste so bland. Would not try this place again.

Loved our baby shower cake and cookies 💚 We actually enjoyed the whole experience to order and explain the cake we wanted. Carissa was so professional and helpful, she really took the ideas we wanted and they baked the cake and cookies just as how we wanted them. We did provide the artificial flower/leaves we liked for the cake. The flavor was soooo good, excellent price for the product received and excellent customer service. Now every event we’ll definitely come back to order.

They have made our wedding cake and birthday cakes for us and they are outstanding every time. They create your vision and the cakes taste amazing! Plus all of the other goodies they have!

Disappointed that there were no tables to sit down and eat. There was one little table where someone was having a cake consult, and a bench by the front door…but zero places for customers to sit down and eat. Customers would benefit from a few tiny tables against the wall.

My fiancee wanted to try a real bakery (rather than Publix or Walmart) for my birthday this year, and spent $95 on this cake. The design is okay, it's cute but it is just fondant. The ears are fondant coated around cardboard, not modeling chocolate and not very edible. The PokeBall alone was $30 dollars and was just a rice crispy treat covered, again, in fondant. The cake itself is just okay, a little dense, but there is only one layer of the chosen flavor icing in the middle.The frosting under the fondant is not the chosen flavor and it's not good. It was supposed to be my first "real bakery" cake. I would expect more from a bakery for $95. You can buy a lot of better things for $95. (Poster in the back is my own)

Absolutely recommended. The cake was for our granddaughters graduation get together. It was beautiful and delicious. When I picked it up I was surprised when the employee carried it to the car. Gave me some tips for the travel to Fort Lauderdale. I was very pleased.

Everyone loves a good story time & happy ending so here you are The BEST cookies they are amazing (flavor wise & visually just stunning!) You know what’s as AMAZING as their cookies (and cupcakes & pretty much everything they have 😭) Their UNDERSTANDING their helpfulness & patients. I placed an Order for a Saturday & life being life made things happen & the store closed (I cried when I realized because they had even reached out to me to let me know! also, I’m a pregnant mess with a toddler) THEY WERE STILL WILLING to meet SUNDAY (the day of my event even though their store was closed) WHO WOULD DO THAT? Again thank you guys so much! Also, they brought my idea TO LIFE. It’s not everyday you see a differently colored Pooh 😭 Pictures do absolutely NO JUSTICE.

My daughter and son-in-law introduced us to Gourmet Goodies and I’m so glad they did. They had a wide selection to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a sampling of desserts and it was all so good. Sugar, snickerdoodle, and salted caramel cookies. Apple pie, strawberry, churro, and Andes Mint chocolate cupcakes. Cinnamon bun and apple cinnamon scone. It is impossible for me to pick a favorite. I guess I’ll be going back soon to try more.

I ordered 2 dozen sugar cookies from Gourmet Goodies for my upcoming bachelorette party and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I used their website to request a quote and communicate my ideas with one of their bakers. Once the designs and quantity were finalized, I paid my deposit online and paid the remaining balance at pick up. I am not local so my mom picked up the cookies on my behalf. They packaged the order in 3 separate boxes to avoid stacking the cookies on top of one another. And even assisted her to her car. The cookies were a huge hit with my family and friends. I highly recommend this shop and can’t wait to place my next order! :)

Our wedding cake was beautiful and scrumptious! Many of our guests complimented how tasty our cake was. We got a 3 tiered amaretto cake and they put the flowers on for us. I absolutely loved my wedding cake! I definitely recommend hiring GG for your wedding cake.

I'm thankful I found this bake shop. They were great with responding to my requests and delivered to the Legoland hotel with no issues. The lego cake was perfect and even tastier!

Absolutely delicious! The strawberry filled cupcake, strawberry macaron, cotton candy cookie, churro cheesecake and snickerdoodle cookie were beyond tasty! Portions are pretty big for the price. So happy I made it in before they closed today. Make sure to sign up for their rewards club so you can trade in your points like I did for my cupcake.

The cake was delicious and the customizability options in terms of flavor and icing are surprisingly wide. We are so very thankful for the team over at Gourmet Goodies! My son’s birthday party was originally supposed to be on 1/1/22 but due to unforeseen circumstances we couldn’t have it on that day anymore. We already had the cake put in but needed to postpone it until the following weekend. The wonderful owner allowed us to store it at the shop for another week to accommodate our unforeseen schedule. We could not be more appreciative of this gesture it helped us out so much. We picked the cake up today 1/8/22 and let me just say the cake looks AWESOME! It looks just like the picture of the Batman cake we sent over! My son was beyond thrilled to have such an amazing cake for his party! The cake not only looked great but also still tasted great for it being stored for an extra week. It was still tasty and delicious as I’m sure it would’ve been the week prior. Thank you so much for the wonderful cake for my son and for your generosity! We definitely recommend this shop and we will definitely be going back for our next occasion!

I been living in polk and been looking for a cake bakery specifically wanting cheesecake. Cheesecake is my favorite dessert, I would drive too Tampa or Orlando whenever I have craving for a cheesecake. Friday night I was having sweet cravings and decided to google cake shops in polk county and Gourmet Goodies Bake Shop came up so I said Saturday morning imma be there. I went bought 3 slice of cheesecake and I got once’s I don’t normally eat when I say I sample each one German chocolate, Carmel apple, Reese’s cheesecake all are amazing!!!! When I tell you you can taste every favors put into making it and fresh even at the Cheesecake Factory not fresh Omg I will never get another slice of cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory again. I’ll be back on Saturday to try different flavor but this will be my cheesecake craving spot!!! Best cheesecake!!!

This is one of our favorite spots to grab a quick treat. Highly recommend their scones! We stop in pretty much every Friday and Saturday morning when they open. They know exactly what we want when we walk in. I have seen some amazing artwork on their cakes and cookies too. Speaking of cookies, they are all good... Stop in and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

We were in Winter Haven Florida to go to Legoland for my grandson's 10th birthday which was on July 24th I ordered a cake through them never have used them before and to be honest the cake was absolutely gorgeous and very delicious I would recommend this place to anyone if you are at Legoland they will deliver to Legoland and Legoland will keep it in a refrigerator for you until you need it

We got stuck in town because of hurricane Elsa, needed a birthday cake for my son, I’ve called in the morning within an hour they had my cake ready, Great service pretty neat location as well And the store looks very clean

Most amazing Valentine ever. I didn’t know what to expect when I was breaking into beautiful dark chocolate heart. I found truffles, kisses, m&ms, and other special treats, personalized to me. Someday I’m going to drive an hour and a half just to visit the shop because I know it must be a chocoholic’s dream. The Best!

I can say nothing ither then wow. A friend discovered this place and had sent me a gift card for my birthday. I walked in and was instantly greeted with smiles and friendly attitudes. Now I have really bad anxiety, and I had mentioned this was my first time there and was shown where and what everything is! I had a hard time narrowing down my picks but everything I got was so amazing! I got a cookie that had a cinnamon roll in it! A cinnamon roll!!! I also got a cotton candy flavored cookie that was so good, and a Strawberry cheesecake cupcake! The cupcake had strawberry filling in it and it was so so good. I will definitely be back! Can't wait to get more goodies! (I didn't get any photos of my goodies because they were so tempting I couldn't wait to try them!)

Great staff, extremely attentive... I'll be back again

Bought a custom two tier Mickey mouse cake for my sons first birthday and it was simply put freaking amazing! The decorations, taste, and staff were 5 stars all around and they included a smash cake which my son enjoyed. Will be back! Highly recommend!

AMAZING customer service provided. Not only did our cake look good, it also tasted good. Had SOOO many compliments on how well the cake tasted and have a lot of friends and family that will now be ordering here
