If you are a fan of Sourdough bread, this is the ONLY place to purchase Sourdough bread. Trust me on this. Their sourdough does have a bite to it. They use a starter that is over 20 years old! THAT is what makes sourdough bread, sourdough bread! Give them a shot - you won't regret it!

Absolutely love this spot! Great food and the ladies working were wonderful. They even helped us put together a Mother’s Day basket and wrapped it up for us. Extremely affordable and a great spot, highly recommend!!

Great Harvest has been a favorite that has never disappointed in over 20 years I've been going there. Their wide assortment of breads lack nothing a carb lover could ask for. They bake different types, fresh, each day. The store is friendly & comfortable & the menu board, though packed with flavor names, was easy to read & well organized. DONT miss out on their cookies before you go! Peanut butter are my absolute favorite

Best homemade bread in Connecticut! We drive 1.5 hours just to be able to get their bread. The people are great.

Sausage egg & cheese on sourdough and Bacon egg & cheese on sourdough. Mine was the sausage and it was good. Next time I'll get a different bread. The sourdough was very good, but kind of overpowered the sandwich a bit. My sister said the same about her bacon egg & cheese. We also bought 1 loaf of challah bread - makes delicious French toast and 1 loaf of sourdough to toast & slather with butter. So good!

Very fresh ingredients make the sandwiches terrific. Sourdough bread is San Francisco authentic. Very pleasant atmosphere and staff.

I happend upon Great Harvest a few months ago on doordash. And I'm so happy that i did! The bread here is AMAZING & i am huge on bread. Its so fresh and tastes delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are my favorite. I order from here every morning and get the bacon egg and cheese on white bread breakfast sandwich. I also get my husband a PB&J with strawberry jelly on white bread. And everytime they make it its just as good as the first time i had it! They now also offer smoothies and i am addicted! They are so good and a great option for those who are lactose intolerant like me. The staff is always super friendly and their rewards program is awesome! So happy i found this place 😊

I love Great Harvest Bread Co.; I discovered them at the South Windsor Farmer's Market, and now I visit regularly. Their sourdough bread is a staple in my diet, and I love grabbing a treat each time I go, like a cupcake, muffin, scone or bar of some kind. The cherry butter they have is also a hidden gem, it tastes like cherry pie. Great, fresh baked goods. Their store also has some soup mixes, cookie mixes, hot chocolate mixes and mugs, some dog treats, a few hot breakfast and lunch items, and some drinks and a few tables to sit and eat at. I have had hot sandwiches from here and those were great too. There's a rewards program where after you spend so much you can get a free item, something you're already buying anyway, which is really nice for regular customers. I have liked everything here I've tried! They don't do gluten-free because they mill their own flour, last time I asked (around spring 2023).

Love Great Harvest and their fresh bread and pastries. The cookies are to die for! Big fan of the white cheddar garlic bread as well. Staff is always friendly and informative. Jewel in particular is ready to answer any questions I have regarding bread and other menu items. Very friendly young woman who appears to genuinely enjoy working there. Will definitely be returning, not only for the great customer service but products as well!

Man oh man I think I had the best scone of my life today you can tell everything was absolutely made fresh. Everything was still warm when given to us. I can’t wait to go back to try the butter and sandwiches. The loaf of bread was absolutely delicious

Easily the best breakfast sandwich in the area. The country special was insanely good. The bread was fresh, bacon was great, seasoning was perfect on everything. Whatever you guys are doing, don't change a thing!

Staff were not friendly or very attentive. No greeting when I came in and after my purchase no Thank You either. There was only one other person in the store and and another staff person was chatting with her at her table. I dont know if I will be back

This place makes wonderful products. I have tried four different kinds of bread, all delicious.

Today was the 1st time I was in there. I with the prices of bread I firgure to try a better bread. I wasnt disappointed. The breads I bought were all excellent. I will be back soon to try more.

Really good bread, great owners. Found them a couple months ago and now get at least 1 loaf a week. Cinnamon Challah bread is excellent.

Such a delicious meal today, and so many delicious homemade goodies. My sister and I tried various things and the sandwiches with spreads, and the poppers were serious standouts. The highlight of everything was the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie I will dream about. There are so many beautiful gifts you can bring home, homemade butters, pizza dough, soooo many amazing breads, and soup mixes to name a few. The young lady working at the front today, june 10 around noon also deserves praise! So kind. Just an all around great experience which is rare today in this world. Give them a shot.

I drove all the way from New Haven to get my Great Harvest fix at the only Connecticut location. Can't beat the honey whole wheat! So fresh and delicious, even after freezing.
