The food is great. We got the smash burgers and old bay fries. Will definitely be back when we're in town.

Love the food here, I wish I could leave 10 stars. Hands down they have the best burgers around the Hanover area, and probably surrounding areas. Plus the people that run it are very nice 100% recommend!

Hands down! Our favorite food in Hanover! Nobody beats their mac & cheese! Everything on the menu is excellent!

We had a little mix up with our order due to DoorDash descriptions being wrong (there is no kids chicken nugget option, it’s actually grilled chicken, don’t be fooled lol). But when I called the restaurant to figure it out they went above and beyond to make it right for us… fantastic customer service! And the food was amazing too, so much that my kids even ate the grilled chicken without complaining 😂

All of there food is great but the smash burgers are the very best, Highly recommend!

Everything here was great the jerk island burger was the best burger I've ever had.

Such good people and great food you can tell they really no what they are doing. The atmosphere could be better but that is the location not them.

Me and my husband had the salmon with yella rice with sweet potatoes and collard greens, yall we never knew great food like this existed in all of pa! I'll def be visiting once a week!

By far the best food I’ve had in Hanover yet! They never miss, everything that I’ve gotten from there has been packed full of flavor and always cooked to perfection! Those jerk chicken tacos have a hold on me man. Please go show these guys some love. They are out here doing the dang thing.

I've gotten a few dishes here and excited to try a few others. Everything is so delicious and the more I try the harder it is to decide what I like most.

Excellent food and owners. This is a MUST STOP 🛑 when you are in the area, stop by and fill up on amazing cheesesteaks and fries. Looking forward to trying the smash burger next time I am in town.

There is a fine balance between award winning food and food that tastes like it was made by someone who cares about you. Most of the time it’s one or the other. Is it the amount of butter added? The mentor the chef trained under? Does good food transgress peoples feelings of neighborhood and friends add to the layer of what it means to be American — that our country is a patchwork of cultures and people who want to live well and good and do what they want and be able to feed their families? If you’re going through it, Grillrilla will take care of you. Skill, love, passion. It’s all here. Get a sweet side to balance the spice if you need it. You’re home.

I'm slightly disappointed in the crab and shrimp fries this time. I only got 2 shrimp on my order of fries and there was barely any sauce on them. The fries are usually very good and I have ordered them many times. I just think I should have gotten more for the price. They were still good, just a little lacking.

The food was slamming! A plus! My sister and I both enjoyed a dish from there and we definitely will go back. Also not a long wait times. Also ethnically owned.

I eat here just about every week. The jerk island bowl with chicken is AMAZING! It is something I could never get tired of. The blackened grilled chicken Caesar salad is also amazing, along with the chicken cheesesteak sub, smash tacos, fries, etc. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. The prices are reasonable, the staff/owners are wonderful, and the food is the best in town. What more could you ask for!? TRY IT!!

Who says you can’t mix seafood with cheese? This place was amazing. Best wings we ever had! Hot and crispy wings a Gouda sauce and lump crab meat…delicious. Rice bowl with perfectly cooked yellow rice with shrimp and a fantastic piece of seasoned and juicy salmon. This is a hidden gem in the Hanover Markets. Can’t wait to go back!!

2nd time here. We wandered into the Hanover Markets and were blown away to find this gem. First time I tried the cheesesteak and animal house sub. This time we had bayside bowl and jerk chicken bowl. This place simply doesn’t miss. The cherry on top: a super sweet family came over and the dad asked if everything was good. Turns out they’re the owners! So on top of it being one of York County’s best, we also get to know that our money is going towards kind people. Best place in Hanover; we will follow them if they ever relocate

I have always been obsessed with Jamaican food and now I can get a local fix! Wow, the Jerk Chicken Bowl took me back to my favorite place! The food here is INCREDIBLE and the owners are absolutely wonderful! My new favorite place!!!

Disappointed that I didn’t get a picture of the deliciousness that sat on my plate. The animal house sub and crab fries were phenomenal!! Cheese steak was made perfectly as well! Staff was attentive and kind. Perfect for a lunch or dinner date. 10/10 recommend!

Got the city cheesesteak while at the Gettysburg Rec Park today and there was a mix up with the orders and he threw in the Jerk Chicken tacos as a sorry, and both were equally delicious, would 100% eat here again.

My daughter and I usually order Doordash for convenience, but we decided to stop in on Saturday to say hello in person. I'm glad we did! The food was better than ever (is that even possible?) and I love talking with these great great people. They really treat you like family here. Food is always great here! Service is awesome. I’ve had breakfast options and cheesesteaks here and it’s one of my favorite spots in Hanover. Seasoning on the food is always great, it’s the reason I set them apart from other places that serve similar food. I also love the origin story and I wish them continued success. Food is amazing, when I’m doing errands I always make sure to stop in, they also cater and do special requests! I always get them to make Macaroni and cheese for my events, I even ordered it for my wedding! They have ruined all other burgers for me, when I crave a burger it definitely needs to be from here! Everything I've had at this place has been delicious. The Animal House is my favorite along with some of their fries. (Old Bay on fries is ADDICTIVE, let me tell you.) The owners are so nice. Even though they're always busy they get your food out to you quick!

Anyone who leaves a bad review has never actually eaten here, and if they did they don’t know seasoning or flavor. This place has the best food in all of Hanover, probably all of PA. I try and try to recreate the jerk chicken tacos at home because I can’t get there often and it never even comes close. The food is truly MADE GOOD and you’ll always EAT GOOD going to Grillrilla!!

Grillrilla never disappoints! The jerk salmon bowl is my go to meal and I crave this often (always on the days they’re closed too 🤦🏼‍♀️). The garlic green beans will leave you craving more and it’s not from low portions either. Their pricing is great and everyone has always been friendly when I’ve picked up my food. If you haven’t tried them I highly suggest you make it happen soon!
