The food is delicious, the people are supper nice and the outdoor sitting makes for a good screen-free break (because why would you be looking at a screen when you can be enjoying this great arepas!)

Whenever I'm in Raleigh or Durham, I want to make sure I get some Guasaca!! It's absolutely delicious, affordable, filling and the service is always great! You can customize arepas or select from their menu, you can't go wrong and many vegetarian/vegan choices!

I had the bowl with the pork and enjoyed it throughly. The portion size was generous. Best of all the food was excellent and the flavors were new to me. There was a line half way out the door and we were served in just a few minutes.

This store has no point of comparison to the others, for example the one in North Raleigh, neither the flavor nor the cleanliness nor even the sauces, the room was dirty, the arepas were a bit burnt, I don't understand why this store should be different.

My first time eating an arepa. LOOOOOVE IT. My son who is a health nut took me there for lunch while we were visiting from Miami. Grilled chicken, sautéed onions, plaintains, black beans, and lettuce all wrapped up together. Burst of different flavors! Wish they had a location in the 305!

Amazing place for fresh and healthy bowls! Great for vegans but mushrooms are the protein choice they give and mushrooms have very very little protein. So besides the little bit of legumes you might get as an added ingredient, vegetarians and vegans be aware they don’t really offer you a good choice for a main protein. I would love to see them add tofu or tempeh as an option! Would make me and others who need plant based protein more likely to choose it more often.

Today, December 21, 2023, we traveled an hour and a half thinking it was a Venezuelan restaurant, I invited friends from El Salvador, Mexico and Guatemala to try Venezuelan arepas. but it was a disappointment. The arepa dough is combined with something else, it seems like wheat flour, there are no combinations of arepas that we have in Venezuela, the seasoning of the shredded meat was not good. For someone who is not from Venezuela it will seem fine, but for a Venezuelan it is disappointing. The attention is first class and the place is clean. but it is not a Venezuelan place, it is a place that sells something similar to arepas. I do not recommend it.

First time eating here. Got a shredded chicken & steak Arepa. I thought I’d need two at first glance. But, was pretty satisfied after the first one. Both were delicious but my fav is the shredded chicken bc of the pico de gallo! So goooodddd!!!

My husband and I are regulars here and recognize the employees--they are all so kind. And of course, we love Guasaca. Way better than Chipotle. Guasaca is local, fresh, unique (arepas), delicious and flavorful, and not too salty (Chipotle is way to salty and not much flavor). Their green and red sauces are a must, too!

Was my first time here. The food was great but the service really lacked. One person behind my brother and I stormed out, several people frustrated waiting for pick up orders. They paid more attention to the orders they were getting on the iPad and missed items on both my order and brothers order. I would come back but order ahead only because the food was tasty and fresh.

Everything here is so quick and tasty! This is my new comfort food in the Triangle area. Their arepas are so soft and every filling they have is worth it. I always get the vegan arepa and the vegetarian signature arepa. Do not miss out on the cilantro and the garlic cream sauce. Their service is quick and you’re sure to go back once you try it!

Been here twice and have had an OK experience. Food is good for it's price, nothing too special about it. You get your food pretty quick, which is a plus. 1st experience was overwhelming as their menu can be confusing and wasn't explained well when I asked about their 'combo'. 2nd experience went smoother as I knew what to order, but the Cashier (maybe manager?) with the rainbow glasses had just picked the metal serving platters off of the ground, put them on top of the clean stack and then continued to put my friend's and I's food onto said metal platters - We didn't say anything because the food comes in a paper boat and didn't touch the food, but couldn't stop thinking about it what other cleanliness guidelines aren't followed here... They also seemed irritated to be working there and it showed with the interactions they had with other employees / customers. Going to check a few other places for a quick lunch.

Each time I eat here I am reminded of why I don't at this place very much. For a mre $18 you'll get a marginal lunch with a drink, which is outrageously expensive for what you get. The service is quite honestly, rude. Unfortunately, it's fallen into the new phenomenon of people serving food or drinks behind a counter act like they are doing us a favor. The lady behind the counter scowled and acted like she either couldn't hear me or couldn't understand me so I had to repeat two or three times. The only reason this place is in business is because of the lunch crowd from all the offices around there and there are not many other places to go so there's not much competition. As an alternative, I highly recommend Taco Bamba, in the Ridgewood shopping center. For less than $18 you'll get a very tasty lunch or for $20 their Torta sandwich which is two-meals in one.

Absolutely, love the shredded chicken Arepas With corn salsa. I hate that they close at 9. I work late(830) and sometimes barely make it before close. The older lady that works there at night could use a happier demeanor. Other than that super clean, Great food and nice patio to sit if you would like to be outside. Can't beat 2 arepas for $11. 1 for dinner and 1 for lunch the next day.

Not great, not terrible. On a keto diet I ordered a salad bowl rather than an arepa with the same choice of ingredients available. My protein choice of "avocado chicken" delivered an unappealing looking glop piled onto my salad fixings (which were fresh an crunchy). The taste was fine, but I also made a bad choice of the cilantro cream dressing......it had a distinctive bitter soapy taste, even for a cilantro lover like myself. Thankfully it was on the side so I avoided ruining the entree. And at $12, I thought it was a bit pricey. Unlikely to return while on keto regimen, but the arepa certainly piques my interest.
