Best little hole in the wall diner in Bedford Cty!! Yummy food and great company! The Pancakes are as big as your head! Right on the Duck River with kayaking available in season. This is more of a "gathering" place than a restaurant. Sit a spell and talk to the locals! Say hi to Beth and Chuck!

Went for breakfast. I had the italian omelet and it was amazing. They had a tiny cornhole game that my wife and I probably got a little rowdy playing. The staff were incredibly friendly and the whole place had a very cozy feel. Definitely going back.

Good food, good service, pleasant staff

A group of friends and I were doing some motorcycle riding around the area and stopped here for a break. That day we had already eaten but planned another visit to try their food. We were NOT disappointed. It was too late for breakfast, but I got the Classic Burger + Bacon and Fries. It was fantastic. Going to try the Breakfast menu next time.

Very nice folks here at Halls. Burgers are satisfying and cooked to order. They are perfect after a day on the river with Lucky Duck River Rentals, the rental and transport service that is based here!

We enjoyed our first visit to Halls Mill! The Lucky Duck Burger was delicious! I never finish a meal and I polished this off! Husband had a pizza and loved it. Great and friendly service!

Neighbors told us about this place and how good it was. Decided to give it a try for Sunday lunch. Food was great! Total agreement, we all loved what we owe ordered. Staff was as super friendly and took very good care of us - and all the customers that were there. Fresh made food, not canned or frozen, and you can really tell. Can't wait to go back and try their breakfast (we hear it's fantastic)!

Delicious home cooked food and is right across the street from the boat ramp so super convenient to grab last minute things for your trip or a snack for the ride home

This market is super cute and very clean! They have snacks, drinks, and various items you may need for a day on the river. The food is great, and the service is outstanding! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I tried the Bedford Burger, and it was delicious! The 8oz burgers are juicy without being greasy.

My daughter and I had breakfast. The veggie omelet was great, and the butter milk pancakes topped off the meal. I will definitely take my family and friends to eat there.

Small place with huge potential! Felt like home! Chuck and Beth are so inviting and will chat with you all day! I got the cheese burger and loaded fries both amazing an cant beat the price!

It’s always nice to come in to a local eatery and just have a home cooked breakfast like my grandparents use to do. My wife got a plate, scrambled eggs sausage with gravy and biscuits. I got the omelette, you can add whatever you want to it. I go with sausage and ham, peppers and tomato with cheese. They also send toast out. You also need to try the pancakes. If you didn’t know this place was here you would drive right by it. It’s places like this that make country living great. Next time your in town stop in.

This place is a must. They serve breakfast, lunch and have a water kayaking /canoe rental as well. A full days trip of fun.

I am giving 4 stars ONLY BECAUSE I have been here twice since the reopening of "Lucky Duck Canoe Rentals" and "Halls Mill Market". Both times were for a two eggs, home fries, country ham ( well done/crispy ), and biscuit with gravy breakfast plate. They were both delicious. My eggs were perfect over medium. My ham was perfect crispy like I like. I'm not sure about the canoe side. They do seem like outstanding folks running the place, and the rates seem reasonable. $30 a canoe I believe, including pick up and drive back to your vehicle. Or $60 for a double. I think these are correct prices. They have one float path available now that is about 3 hours so I'm told. But are adding another now that should be closer to 5 hours. Don't quite me on this, but it has been heard. They do offer a lunch plate that I have not had the chance to enjoy, but has had some good cookin' listed on it. * I will update on prices, canoe info, and of course; MORE FOOD!!!!

Looking for a Mom and Pop breakfast destination? This is it! Whether you want to float the river or sit on the porch this is a great classic historic destination with food made fresh in house(These are the same folks that brought you " Barrelhouse Barbecue" in Lynchburg). Enjoy a good breakfast in a friendly atmosphere. You're only a stranger on your first visit, after that it'll be like returning home.

Not to bad for a new place. The service was a little off. Mom ordered a coffee and never got it. They were out of straws. The menus weren't given to us when we sat down, I had to go get them. Not too much to choose from. But the fried pickles were good.

OMG ! This little country diner is Amazing ! The food and the staff are fabulous! My friend wanted to check it out and we had a wonderful breakfast that was well worth the drive from Murfreesboro (even after working a 12 shift all night). I would highly recommend this little joint to anyone who loves great food from a great local spot !

Old country store style restaurant where you can get baby back ribs, pulled pork barbecue with the fixings and even homemade pies. If you're planning to go fishing, you can even buy some bass lures.
