I’m addicted. All of the food is so fresh and delicious with bursting flavor and stellar service. I’ve eaten many Grape Leaf rolls, and these are among my favorite! They’ve got a touch of spice, and a warm, savory flavor. I’ll always keep coming back for more!

Aladdin’s now has competitors on McKnight. This family owned Mediterranean spot has blown me away several times. I am a new regular. It’s hard to find fresh, healthy food especially on McKnight. And this place exceeds my standards. I am a fan. Definitely recommend.

Great authentic Levantine for a good price and great display. I'd recommend the kibbe or the falafel rolled. Just so good. Two comments: food was slow to arrive at the table even tho we were the only people there; and the food was served in the wrong order, we ordered hummus and pita as an appetizer but it arrived after our entrés. 9.2/10 wonderful food. Also the baklava is mid.

Just left here with my wife. The food was amazing. The restaurant is family owned by a mother and 2 sons and they do a great job with it. Very clean, great atmosphere.

I have been to this restaurant with family and friends at least a dozen times. This is the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. Totally authentic with the best ingredients. It is seasoned to perfection and everything tastes delicious. My family and friends have all been very impressed as well. It’s healthy and delicious food and I love supporting a family owned business. The restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. I would love to eat here every day.

Absolutely delicious wrap! Everything from this place seems so fresh and tasty. The menu is a bit limited, but it looks like they nail everything they have, which is great. I tried the chicken shawarma Mediterranean roll. It was incredibly good! The chicken was delicate and soft. Not too spicy. There was a great sauce accompanying it. Super garlicky and tasty! The pickles were nice and fresh. The roll itself was pretty good too, not just a standard white tortilla. Nice grill on it for extra crunchiness. Good portion and reasonable price. All in all, this is a great little place. Very nice Mediterranean food options when there aren't that many in the area. I highly recommend the wraps and chicken shawarma!

My family and I have eaten in once and ordered out many times and it every time we are beyond pleased. Delicious hummus, everything is fresh, clean interior,.. I cannot recommend this place enough. I hope this business thrives and they become a north hills staple!

Family owned and delicious food

It's a modest little place situated on the location where the subway used to be. I had a dish with grilled seasoned chicken and rice. Prices are reasonable. Planning on going back. Would recommend.

So glad Google brought this place up! Everything was so fresh and made to order. They had the best Baba Ganoush I've ever eaten. The menu is a little limited in comparison to other larger restaurants, but the food is so good, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. This will definitely will be a frequent flyer on my fining out list. My only complaint is that the garlic sauce has a mayo base and I prefer the yoghurt based garlic sauce. I had a kebab plate (chicken was juicy) and fried cauliflower. My mom raved about her lentil soup and the lamb roll was really good too.

Food was good but service was unreasonably slow. Took 50 minutes before we had our drinks and any food - we had side salads that could have been brought to table to keep us happy while waiting for main dishes but it all came at once - by which time we were irrated. Place was busy but not packed. No follow up either after food was brought, even to bring check.

This is a good place for takeout not to dine in. Service was terrible. Just one person. Smelled of cigarettes. They don't even serve water. You have to buy bottles. Food wasn't great either. I wouldn't go back.

I really like this place! They have own unique taste. Everything homemade. Especially I loved their pickles which is served as a side dish (garnish) . The owners are a very nice family always welcoming… if you like Mediterranean foods you should try definitely this nice place. Even if you've never tried it, I'm sure this place will make you love Mediterranean food.in any case , taste their food.

It was a Saturday evening and after shopping, the family was hungry and wanted to try something new on McKnight road. We picked Mediterranean/Middle Eastern as the cuisine. After a google search we found this place with very good reviews. We entered the place and were greeted by Mez the host/server. We were new, and a member of our party had a gluten/dairy allergy. Both Mez and his father, Imad the chef, explained the menu and also advised they would custom make a dish so that there is no gluten or dairy. We selected our choices and sat down. It was also great seeing Imad make everything fresh in the very clean, open kitchen. We ordered the kebab salad which had 4 pieces of fresh grilled lamb kebabs with salad. We also had the meat mix plate with grilled kebab and chicken, rice, hummus, and baba ganoush with pita. Lastly, we got the fresh grilled chicken shawarma roll with lentil soup and pita chips. Everything tasted great and was fresh as we watched it being made. Let me just say that this family run place is authentic, fresh, tasty and priced just right. If you want to try something new run by an awesome family, try the fresh food at Hanadi’s Mediterranean We definitely will be back and hope to become regulars.

Always great food! Anytime I’m in the area I always eat here. The food is great and reasonably priced. You always have leftovers for the next day too!

Small location with three or four booths and a table or two for eat in and a brisk business for take out. Baba gannouj was outstanding and served with a thin pita. Chicken Shawarma roll, no sides, was tasty. The pita was pressed, making the Shawarma crispy and adding texture. Chicken Shawarma plate, was the same roll as above, with sides. The sides were plentiful and enough to share, which worked out well. The sides were too salty for my tastes, somewhat changing the flavor of the meal. No bar, no B.Y.O.B.

I stopped in at Hanadi’s to check out the restaurant prior to my order pick-up at 7 PM. I'm glad I did because I was able to see how much this father-son combo cared about not only their food but also their customers. I watched the owner cook my meals with the same care that he would for his family. He was systematic, and cleanly – a perfectionist. He even took the extra step to separate the hot chicken from my salad, so the lettuce retained its crispiness. The trio of shish tawook, chicken shawarma, and falafel rolls is a great introduction for those unsure about Mediterranean food. My wife and I shared the tawook salad – a solid blend of freshness, flavor, and healthiness. A great option for a post workout meal. I highly recommend the grape leaves – tender, flavorful, and addictive. And, of course, the baklava was delicate and delicious. It's apparent that this family pours their heart and soul into this restaurant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests. I do have a small suggestion for improvement: consider replacing the table and chairs to the left upon entering the restaurant, and perhaps create a small casual seating area with a coffee table and a few Mediterranean-style books to leaf through for those stopping by to pick up their meals. This addition would enhance the overall convenience for customers on the go.

The food is delicious, all made from scratch and you can watch it being made! I have never had better lentil soup than this place. And the people are very kind! Only wish there was more or brighter lights.

I'm so pleased to have this great new place right in my neighborhood. We had lunch here today after hearing great things about the food and the owners. Got the shish tawook (a pita roll-up filled with savory roasted chicken, tomatoes, pickle slices and marinated turnip strips) and it was terrific, also got a side order of the roasted cauliflower appetizer, also delicious. The sauces and spices are unique and really tasty. They are still getting set up so take out is the only option now, though they do have a tiny counter a couple of people could sit at. But it's well worth calling in an order and picking it up. Everything is made fresh when you order it. I would give Hanadi's 10 stars if I could! Can't wait to try their pizzas next. I will definitely be a regular customer. Best Mediterranean food I have had in Pittsburgh, and I have tried most of them. Update May 2021. Still love Hanadi's food and continued to support this great neighborhood place by picking up takeout during the pandemic shut downs. Had it again last Saturday and, if anything, it is even tastier than when they opened! Always top quality, fresh and healthy. I keep meaning to try their highly rated pizza but I love the traditional Middle Eastern dishes so much I keep craving them! 2024 update: I was sad when Hanadi's closed their small take out shop 5 minutes from my house in Forest Hills 2 years ago, but now that I know where their other location on McKnight Road is, I will be able to get their great food again when I am up that way (I have friends in the North Hills and am in the area often.) Still the tastiest Middle Eastern food in Pittsburgh, and I have eaten at all of the other places that serve this kind of food. Nice people, too.

Best shwarma we've had in the US!

There aren't a ton of authentic and fresh food places in the north hills. This place is both refreshing culturally and in cuisine. You can tell it's authentic. I will continue to go here and prices are affordable too.

Grapes leaves, hummus, rice, fried cauliflower delicious and fresh. Fresh Mediterranean style salad. Plenty to eat, reasonable prices

Food is excellent and the personnel are very nice. However service is slow. They seemed to get backed up with to go orders. We will be back.

Whole lotta yes goin’ on here. Friendly and delicious. We got Chicken Sahwarma Plate: Grilled strips of chicken tender, French fries, pickles, turnip, tomato, garlic sauce and, from the new entree menu, the Meat Mix Plate: Two Chicken Tawook, Two Lamb Kebab, Rice, Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Served with pita bread and garlic and hot sauce. Wonderful homemade flavors and a nice quiet dining area. Will go back and foresee some carry out from this place!

My wife and I had the Chicken Mix and the Chicken Tawook and it was fantastic. Even if you are not a fan of Mediterranean food, this place may change your mind. In a world that we have become immune or numb to fresh food, this place will give you a great idea of what fresh tastes like. Don't miss it. If you read a four star rating for Hanadi's Mediterranean Food, I'm sure it was a mistake.

Wow! Incredibly fresh. The best baba ghanous I've had. The salad was fresh and flavorful. I had the lamb I had the chicken I had the tabouli. All of this stuff was delicious.

A delightful place to dine in, but I noticed they also do a considerable take-out business. I recommend the beef schawarma rolled.

The food was phenomenal and the staff was very friendly! We especially enjoyed the lamb kebab roll, shawarma, and toum (garlic sauce). It's easy to miss the restaurant from McKnight since the sign isn't very big and it's tucked in a shopping center but now that we know it's there, we'll definitely be back!

I think I found a restaurant that will absolutely be in the regular rotation. For a long time I mistakenly assumed this was a small grocery until I bothered to do my research. There is actually far more seating in here than I would have imagined. We were greeted and waiting on immediately. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate and grape leaves. Wife got the Hummus Falafel Wrap. The food came very quickly and my god was it good. The small grape leaves is an order of 3 and they are vegetarian. They were really well made, full of flavor and fresh as can be. The shawarma was something I would order repeatedly. The plate came with a generous amount of fries, a pile of chicken, pita, salad and pickled veg. It was a great deal for the price. I would much rather support small restaurants any day and this is a great one. I don't think I'll be back at Aladdins if this is an option.

My husband and I love Hanadi’s so much, we order from them almost once a week (we actually just placed an order). The staff is very kind and the food never disappoints. It’s fresh and hot every time, and the falafel is some of the best I’ve tried. We typically order takeout but the presentation of the food is beautiful if you dine in. Plus the pricing is so reasonable for the portion sizes.

I had the best chicken shawarma here today! It was perfection. My friend got the falafel roll and we both raved about our food. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area! Quick and friendly service.

Excellent food, completely fair price points given the quality. Food tastes authentic and homemade. Loved the baba ghanoush, kebab platter, and chicken tawook platter. The sauces are also a nice addition and so tasty. Will be back!
