My chocolate milkshake tastes just like a kewpee frosty. I am so impressed.

I come back here everytime I am town. So many flavours it's hard to choose. Grahm central or chocolate chip cheese cake chunk are my recommendations. Staff is patient and cheery. Several places to sit. Pleanty of parking. They take cards.

Uhhhh...soooo DELICIOUS! I loved & dream of this. Ice cream texture is highly personal. I do not like creamy ice cream if that makes sense - where it can almost where taste like custard or takes to long to melt in your mouth because its so dairy its still a cow. Handel's was lighter, airier, and so freaking delicious. I got the Turtle Squirtle (I'm kidding but I can't remember the exact name), but my son got the Chocolate Almond and that was probably my favorite of the two, even though mine was also really good. It was a nice complexity where it didn't just taste like Chocolate or just like Almond. Ugh sooo good. I'm crying until I can come back.

The last shake I bought here was a little thin but I decided to give this place another try. Big mistake as my shake was so thin it was almost milk. On top of that there was very little flavor. She put too much milk it and poured a large portion right down the sink after filling my glass. After waiting on a long line it was a major disappointment. The scoop of ice cream was good though.

Recently devoured a 4 scoop sampler with Coconut Cream Pie, Lemon Bar, Cake Batter and Key Lime Pie. The Coconut Cream Pie was the best and Cake Batter was the second best. Such delicious ice cream!

Tha ice cream is consistently excellent and the the service is very good.

I think this the best place to get an ice cream in Toledo. There is a huge menu to choose from. If you are ice creamer lover you will not get disappointed by trying here.

This is the worst ice cream I’ve ever had and I didn’t think ice cream could be bad. I was hoping real ice cream with minimal preservatives and does because “made fresh” this key lime pie burned my tongue with how synthetic the lime was, the ice cream was NOT creamy and the flavor was just gross. I should have trusted the last review. Go get Tillamook from Walmart and be blown away by what good ice cream tastes like

Wish they could have the drive through running! Long lines out doors can be rough, especially when it starts raining! Definitely tops for Sylvania area for all their delicious desserts and ice creams! Highly recommended!

Super fast and friendly service, and delicious (as always) ice cream! Their unique flavors mean you'll basically never run out of things to try, and they also have great waffle cones (a small detail, but important to me). I have been coming here since I was kid and I will keep on coming as long as I am in the area!! Great service during COVID as well, nice and easy and safe place to get ice cream.

Very friendly service. I'm a bit of an ice cream connoisseur and I wasn't blown away by their ice cream. The flavors tasted like they used artificial flavors as opposed to fresh ingredients. Decent ice cream, fresh cones.

Yuck. We chose here to have a treat since we're from out of town and the reviews were good. Maybe we ordered poorly, but I'm pretty sure they just make boxed lemon bars and add them to the ice cream. The Oreo wasn't good either, which is an odd flavor to not enjoy. Would have been just a bad taste experience if the person who provided service to us wasn't snippy and slamming the door open and closed and not staying long enough to hear what we were saying before closing it. If we lived here, it wouldn't be a place we'd come back to.

This ice cream is the best. It cost more than some places but it's flavor is so good. Creamy and rich! I love the butter pecan, chocolate batter and cheesecake flavors. The sugared nut topping on a sundae is also so good! Get the 4 scoop sampler and try several flavors. This is a great way to get ice cream with a large family! 4 kids, 4 scoops $4....or like us 7 kids...getting the sampler avoids spending $30 on ice cream.

Fresh made ice cream in HUGE portions with interesting and traditional flavors. Be ready for a line that blocks the parking lot, but it's worth the wait. The service is efficient enough to keep the line moving, even on a busy Friday night.

We wouldn't say it was the best icecream we've had but it was a fun outing ! I enjoyed a mint chocolate chip Handel's pop -- a dove chocolate/Klondike bar style dessert. I'd recommend that! Something fun & different

Had my seasonal favorite, key lime pie. The server and service were equally fast and she was very friendly too.

The ice cream is good, not exceptional. A little overpriced in my opinion.

I just want to say these ladies that work here daily do such a wonderful job and never complain when the line is 30 people at 8:50 p.m. the 5 nights a week I go there race off after work. You'll need to take a poll or survey on the keylime pie flavor ice cream. I would thing it holds its own for people buying it. Everytime I go i meet people in line that LOVE the keylime pie but it's only seasonal. It the only tart flavor you'll have and I hope you'll consider keeping it on menu full time. Thanks for the wonderful ice cream and the great service. And HATS OFF to you all giving the medical ems and police free ice cream. I went to pay for 3 fellows the other day anonymously and the girl said they take care of there first responders. You all rock and pay it forward. It will come back 10 fold. Thanks 4 being the best .

Best ice cream anywhere! It is sooo good. Need to ramp up staffing. One teenage boy is not enough to service long drive-through lines, plus 10 people at the window. We will always go to Handel's.

This is my favorite ice cream place, I always get a strawberry milkshake and it is delicious. The staff is very friendly, young woman work here and they are very hardworking ladies.

Good ice cream ,but for price. 1 scoop put in what looked like a LID for a plastic cup. And 2 scoop in a lid about same size as 1 scoop cost almost 9.00. I can doo better at grocery store. Get 2 containers for that price. Sorry way to much for a scoop of ice-cream.

I've tried this location twice recently and both times their menu was extremely limited (no shakes, no hurricanes) for whatever reason, so I left without getting anything. I've learned my lesson and will go elsewhere next time.

There's no dining in. So, no actual atmosphere to rate. The situation is simple. If you want one of the best, richest, creamiest ice creams ever Handel's is a good time. In an earlier review I claimed: when he's in the Toledo/Sylvania area God goes to Handel's for 🍨🍦

Took my 2 daughters to get ice cream and the girl that helped us was very nice, helpful and accomadating to my daughters. Ice cream was of great quality and tasted terrific, service was great. We will definitely come back again !!

24-minutes in the drive-thru with me being the third car. Ice cream was already melted by the time it was handed to me. This is my second [and last] attempt trying out this ice cream parlor; I don't see what all the rave reviews are about unfortunately. Don't waste your time, money, and traffic annoyance.

Their pumpkin pecan ice cream is marvelous hand pack for home.

I just go through the drive-thru and I usually order a pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream. That is my favorite kind.

I would give a five but some of the workers are stingy with the scoops. I've had back to back occasions where it was one scoop instead of 3 like on the picture they have! Ice cream is delicious but ladies, please give the proper scoops

A local favorite for many years, this is the most awesome ice cream shop! New flavors regularly, I had the Lemon Bar recently and was not disappointed! If you can only have one ice cream treat this summer, make sure it's Handels!!!!

Long time ice cream and treat shop on the corner of two of the busiest roads in the Toledo/Sylvania area. Plenty of traditional and exotic flavors of ice cream are available, as well as other fan favorites such as floats, shakes, and more. Prices are competitive and the staff is eager to serve! Free parking surrounds the building, and there are several outdoor benches, chairs, and tables to sit if you want to enjoy your treats by yourself or with others.

Handel's is a great place for a special treat. It's a bit pricey, however it's worth it. We will return and so should those reading this. The staff is great and quick
