This place is still there and the prices are still very reasonable. It looks like they've only gone up 50 cents since the last pictures. My Cobb salad was $9.25. It is fresh food prepared carefully. We're lucky to have such a place.

If you’re ever in the area, this is the place to grab some really good food at a fair price. The owner is very nice and accommodating.

From the outside, appearances are deceptive. An extremely lovable man awaits you behind the entrance, who conjures up delicious dishes with a lot of charm. It may take a while if you arrive at midday. But for me this is also a quality feature and the time flew by because you could watch him work. The food was also very good and the ingredients were all fresh. I can only agree with the good reviews. You get very full for the money. Many greetings from the first German guests :)

Fabulous sub! Don't be afraid to go inside. (It's a to-go place.) But oh - the Italian sub I had was so delicious. The owner, Dave, makes sure it's made to your liking. He's a sweetheart! I'm from out of town, but I will be back. 😁🥪👍

Stopped in while visiting some family in Boca and seriously have not had a better sandwich. The owner is the “salt of the earth” type. He was incredibly hospitable and polite to us and everyone who walked in the door. Fresh food, great service, and fair prices. Will definitely return next time we’re in town.

Really cool little spot! The owner was really nice. I try chicken salad anytime I see it on the menu and this one was delicious. In my opinion it’s more of a grab and go spot, which was perfect for what I needed. Definitely recommend! Loved it :) I’ll be back when I’m in the area

Delicious sub! Any 9" sub, chips, and a soda all for $7.50 I ordered a spicy buffalo sub and it tasted delicious. Ever visit Boca Raton? Have a try. I'll be back if I ever come back to this city. Regulars & locals here love it as I've been told by one of them.

Small place that’s been there a long time. The owner/sandwich maker is a very cool guy. I can tell he loves his job. Was happy to tell me all about what he has to offer once I asked. There were regulars he knew by name lined up. $7 for a chicken salad sub. He cut the fresh chicken up and made it from a scratch right there. WOW

Pulling up to Harbor City Lunch, my dining companion and I had a second of hesitation. After all, the building is not new, and sits off of a side street of Dixie Highway. If ever there had been an opportunity to learn the lesson about judging a book by its cover, this was it. Inside, seated at the small counter, my companion and I ordered two delicious lunch subs: his a pastrami club and mine a tuna on white. The french fries were also crisp and delicious. The best part of the whole adventure, aside from finding a new lunch joint, was meeting the owner. His repartee was nearly as good as his food. Listen, in life we must make our own adventure. Branch out. Find that new little hole in the wall. Shop local. If we had decided that the outward appearance of harbor City lunch reflected what was contained within, we never would have stopped. Thank goodness we did.

What a hidden gem! Don't be fooled by the outside! We used to live right around the corner and always enjoyed grabbing a sandwich when we were next door at the laundromat. I moved 20 minutes away and still have to go back to get lunch there! The lunch special is unbeatable, and the sandwiches are always out of this world! Oh, and the fries!!! The fries are perfectly hot and crispy every time!! When my family comes to town, they always ask when we are going to Harbor City! Stop reading and just get there!!

I wanted a sub sandwich for lunch today but wanted to go somewhere new. I looked up places near me and this local gem popped up. It was absolutely amazing !!! I wanted a ham and turkey sub with Swiss cheese and although it wasn’t on the menu, the owner made it for me no problem. This is a one man operation so you need to be patient in terms of ordering but boy is it worth the wait. Please check out this great little place for a great sub sandwich. You won’t be disappointed.

Don’t be scared when you pull up. There’s a nice guy inside with great subs. Super fresh soft bread.

Harbor city's been around for a bunch of years and I've been eating there for years used to get that as my main luncheon when I was working they would deliver.

I noticed the strong reviews so when I was in the area I had to try it out. They have a unbelievable lunch special and the quality of the food is really good!

Just ordered their daily special half sandwich with a chip or soda for $5. Got a spicy chicken sandwich with cheese, banana peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, onions. So good and affordable next time I’m adding bacon 😋

I came in today after finding this place on Google maps off of The positive reviews the gentleman was extremely kind and the subs were delicious everything is fresh and you can tell everything is made with love prices are definitely reasonable. I definitely recommend this place if you’re local. You won’t be disappointed

I ate at Harbour City for the first time today. It's a small place. The kind of place where you go in and place your order and get it to go. First let me start off by saying that the owner couldn't be a nicer person and ready to get your order going! He said he loves what he does and I think it shows. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and it was everything I wanted a Reuben to be. Thick layer of shaved meat, sauerkraut and swiss cheese all melted together on toasted rye bread with thousand Island dressing. It was deelish! I Also got the Harbor City Cobb Salad. It was beautiful and again, everything I wanted in a Cobb salad. It's large, full of ingredients, and it was delicious! It's every bit as good as ones I have gotten in a sit-down restaurant, but not even close to a sit-down restaurant price. Not a meat eater, not a problem. You could get this salad minus the bacon and the chicken and you wouldn't even miss it with all of the other ingredients that are in it. If you take a look at the menu on Harbor City Lunch's website, you'll see a large selection of salads and sandwiches and at very reasonable prices. My new fave place 🤗

I love it when reviews don't lie! I was unexpectedly in the area, hungry for a sandwich for dinner, did a quick search for food near me and ended up at Harbor City. I'm so glad I did. I never judge a book by its cover & don't if you choose to eat here. Two people were in front of me. Like I read in other reviews, the owner knew them both by name and was working furiously to get their meal done while making sure everything was prepared to perfection. I waited less than 5 minutes. Once it was my turn, the owner gave my meal prep the same attention & the food was great. On top of it all, it was affordable (when similar shops are constantly raising prices even during "these times"). I easily give this place five stars AND five sandwiches 🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪. 😊 I hope to eat here again soon.

I have never had a bad experience here. The owner is the hardest working man I've seen and his sandwiches are fresh and amazing! The bread is absolutely perfect too! My go to is the Turkey, Swiss, mayo, lettuce and tomato with salt and Pepper and he always remembers me now and what I get. True gem. I highly recommend this place.

Great diner! We’ve driven 30 minutes for years to eat here. The portions are huge and we love everything we’ve ever eaten. Our favorite is the Mediterranean Salad which has gyro meat, hummus, pita bread, chickpeas, lettuce, tomatoes, lettuces, onions, green peppers, feta and Kalamata olives. Delish!!! Michelle gave us excellent service today!!

Harbor city was something i found because they delivered during lunch. They completely surprised me with their pricing and food quality. Please dont hear what im not saying. It's not fine dining or candle light food, but is really done nicely for the pricing. No expensive over inflated food price and no delivery charge. For a place that is pretty hidden they are amazing. Thanks so much.
