Small French restaurant with excellent service and food. I had the braised short ribs that you could cut with a fork, and my husband had the half's liver that he said was also delicious. Prices are on the higher side, but it is fine dining. Suggest making reservations before you go.

We celebrated a milestone birthday here because Traditions offers such a special dining experience. From the delectable escargot to lamb chops cooked to perfection, the chef is a culinary master. We are looking forward to going back soon and we are still talking about our wonderful meal. Love this place!

What a pleasure to experience french fine dining in our Deerfield Beach neighborhood. Warm & intimate space w/a team of 4 on a Saturday night attending to all guests needs. Service was professional, cuisine equally exquisite. We enjoyed appetizers: vegetable veloute (soup of the day) w/a hint of cream for silkiness, salads (caesar & mixed greens) fresh & crisp. Mains: Filet w/pepper sauce & fork tender, 1/2 rack of lamb (cut into chops) robust & not gamey, dover sole meuniere, mild & sweet (de-boned tableside). All dishes were executed perfectly & presented w/vegetables & smooth pomme puree or hearty potatoes au gratin. We topped off the evening with Grandma's apple tart, both pretty & delicious. Chef Eric Heintz hails from an Alsatian cooking family dating back 7 generations and it shows through his deft understanding of the delicate & savory art of french cuisine.

I didn't go to Deerfield Beach expecting fine French cuisine, but, thanks to friends nearby, it found me. We had an authentic French experience with carefully designed cuisine beautifully presented in a warm and comfortable environment. Thank you for an enriching evening.

This place exceeded all of our expectations. It was authentic from the wait staff to the food. It was my daughter’s 5th birthday and we all enjoyed the night. I started with the Caesar which was good, my main course was the duck which was incredible, and I finished off the night with the profiteroles which were the best I’ve ever had. The chef and owner came out and played the piano at the end of the night. My mom almost cried it was so great. What an amazing night!!! I can’t wait to go back!

I have been here many times and the food is always good. This season, the prices have gone up. There are also some additional charges..there is a sharing charge for a salad even if two entrees are ordered. The night I was there recently was very busy , and the dining room was so noisy that it was uncomfortable.

Our dinner was truly lovely and this is a spot that you would not expect to be as good as it is! The service was lovely, it really felt like a spot where everyone knew each other and was welcomed. Do not be worried about the exterior shopping plaza it is not the most beautiful but it does not matter because dinner will be wonderful!

So good!!!! Everything is fresh and the food is always good! Try the goat cheese salad omg!!!! And the snapper or Dover sole! Everything is good!

Wow it started with the crusty bread then the perfect escargot a French onion soup that will stand up to anyone’s . Next the salmon that was perfectly cooked with vegetables. Ended with the delicious homemade apple pie warm with vanilla ice cream! Fourth time here each visit they nailed it. This is a place you can feel very comfortable recommending to your favorite foodie friends.

The food was out of this world. The dessert was fabulous. The service was excellent. Everything was 100%.

Braised short ribs were too salty. Escargot on fake porcelain shells, not much flavor, taste mostly pesto and olive oils. Bread basket was hot, but slices were extremely hard, not like a fresh baked and sliced baguette. Apple tart dessert was served cold!! For the price of this restaurant, it’s definitely not worth visiting.

We went for our 5 year wedding anniversary and everything was perfect. The best service we have ever had. The food was amazing. We got the escargot, potato and leek soup and French onion soup as starters and they were delicious. For the mains we got the short ribs which were falling of the bone melt in your mouth soft and had such a rich flavor. We also got the crispy duck with cherry sauce. Perfect medium and the meat was so tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Can not wait to return!

This is a new hidden gem...the owners are French...and he is a chef...everything is fresh. The food is superb...from start to finish...great desserts...wonderful wines...reasonable prices...a must try for anyone who appreciates good food.

This is an absolute gem in French cuisine. Everything we had was outstanding and the escargot were some of the best I've ever had. Staff is top notch and the chef stopped by our table to see if everything was OK. My only wish is that the menu was more extensive; I can see myself wanting more options after a few visits. We'll come back many times.

Chef Eric is an amazing chef. Never in million years would I have eaten escargot or foie gras until Chef Eric prepared it. This is the ONLY restaurant that I will never question what is put in front of me and just eat it. Ana'is is the most attentive maître d'; her and her assistant are both super sweet, personable, never an empty glass and they are always on point!! It's always a pleasure and fantastic experience when we go to Traditions. Hands down the best restaurant ever!! I promise nothing on the menu will disappoint. Just a word of advice, no matter how full you feel, DO NOT pass up dessert!! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!!

This place was awesome if you like high-end fancy French food and ambiance... I'm not really into that but I had the salmon and it was delicious 👍🏻 what I did absolutely LOVE was the dessert - I had the Strawberry Napoleon and it was FANTASTIC 🤤 my boyfriend had the chocolate mouse cake and the creme brule was delicious too according to my family... You'd NEVER know this place was in this tiny strip mall... But if you're in the area & you're into this type of food - I do recommend this place 👍🏻

I like dinner here three nights a week since they opened. I bring all my friends here to try Eric's menu and his wife. It's very family like and the staff is five stars. There's a wine menu, with Reisling comes from France. The roast beef is good, the escargot is delicious, the vegetable soup and homemade bread. The Alsatian Tart is not too sweet. I like the Souffle if Eric has time to make one it's always busy from open to close and make a reservation a year in advance please. You will not find fine dining like this. There's a Baldwin piano too for the Chef to play a song for his femme. French and English is spoken here too you can take your French class to learn the Alsatian history because the family is 7 generation of cooking. Taste the difference it has some German items too. If your looking for a German restaurant skip that and go to Tradition instead.

The best French restaurant in the area hands down! This is a rare gem in this neck of Florida woods. The moment I stepped into this fine restaurant, I was teleported to France. Everything, from the quality of the dishes that I tried to the service and interior was deeply satisfying. This is a heaven for foodies. I will be coming back for this experience. This is a perfect place for a romantic date with a touch of class.

What a wonderful restaurant! Chef Eric is so talented, everything was prepared perfectly. The food is classic French but with a modern take. The wine list is wonderful too. Sad that so many diners brought their own wine, when there were so many lovely and reasonably-priced options on the list. Service was impeccable.

A gem of a French restaurant. One dish was better than the next! We had a sampling of the veggie soup puree, mixed greens salad was delightful with grated celery root and carrots. A special was a goat cheese brûlée over mixed roasted peppers. For entrees try the signature yellowtail, crusted and crispy. We also tried the short ribs bourguinon- terrific. Don’t miss the dessert Napoleon, flaky with fab cream filling. Wine list could be more extensive, but it was passable.

Everything we had here was delicious. I ordered the filet and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. You have the option of red wine or pepper sauce and the waitress recommended the pepper sauce and it was amazing. Everything was great!

Just had a great experience with my girlfriend at this restaurant. The staff are all welcoming and kind. The chef comes out once he is finished cooking and plays piano for the remaining guests before they close. It was like sitting at a restaurant outside of Paris. I shouldn’t leave the food out. The food is amazing!! Eric is an amazing chef. If you’re in Deerfield or Boca you should definitely stop by this hidden gem.

Outstanding! Walked into this place on a fluke. Turned out to be amazing! Had the Dover Sole with Champagne sauce and the presentation was flawless with the deboning of the fish, perfectly done. The husband & wife team are on point with food & service. I will definitely be back..... the Crème Caramel is unbelievably good.... try the place, you won't be disappointed!

We had the BEST dinner here! The food was fresh and delicious. We had the dover sole meunière (perfect), escargot (amazing), smoked salmon salad, lamb chops, and spaetzle. Everything was a 10/10. The owners are incredibly kind and we were even treated to a piano concert at the end by the chef. A delicious dinner that we cannot recommend enough. Merci beaucoup! We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!

The food is always excellent. My wife and I place Tradition at the top of our list when visiting Deerfield and are planning our dinner options. The duck is superb, as it is a half duck with sliced breast pieces, but also the leg. My wife usually get the beef which is also excellent. We have never had a bad meal there. It's location is unassuming off Federal Highway, but the inside is romantic. There are outside tables also. My only hesitation in recommending it, as we might not be able to get a table on our next trip down once word gets out.

Very great experience last night, very good food and service! Nice location with plenty of free parking. Scallops with risotto, escargots, filet mignon perfectly cooked and presented. We have tried a few French in South Florida and Tradition is now definitely on top of our list. Keep on the great work. Owned by a young French couple from North East of France (Alsace). We will definitely go back and can’t wait to share our experience with friends and family.

Oh my God! The owner and chef puts a lot of love into his culinary skills and we benefit. The duck is my favorite. The fresh vegetables are prepared just right. Love the food and service. Small intimate restaurant. Come often and they'll learn your name and likes. It's like having a personal chef in your backyard. Please visit you won't be disappointed

Had my birthday dinner here and it was delicious, the lamb chops were awesome and the escargot was melt in your mouth. Wine was good and atmosphere was relaxed would definitely recommend and come again :)

Excellent- consistency is critical to being a quality restaurant - I’m a Manhattan guy so I’m a bit of a foodie - love this French bistro - artisans at work. Wish there where more restaurants at this level. Too many restaurants are lots of food but mediocre quality and inconsistent.

Eric and Anais run this place so well. Its such a breath of fresh air compared to so many other cookie cutter restaurants in South Florida. Amazing how a two person team can deliver a five star multi-course meal using freshly purchased ingredients and a menu created the same day and still do it far better than establishments with dozens of workers!

Honestly, hands down the best meal you can have in Florida. My mom recommended this place a while ago, and I am so thankful she did. I had foie gras for appetizer, roasted chicken breast for main, and crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was better than expected. There’s nothing you can order here that will disappoint you. We had a large group to celebrate an Anniversary. 16 people had a fabulous evening. They arranged the table so we could all see each other. The service was impeccable as was the food. The dessert was amazing. They made a special Napoleon cake which was hard to pass up. The owner/chef and his wife do everything to make your dining experience very memorable.

The best French food in Florida so fare. The meat was perfectly cooked the fries and gravy wonderful the desserts wort a trip. This is our 17 th vacation in Florida but first time at Tradtition Restaurant and we will return. Highly recommended.

Everything was amazing. We were in a party of six. Went on a Mon as weekends are busier. There were about 30 other dinners. We could actually talk an hear each other. French Onion Soup was amazing, real bone broth. Liver Pate with plums, mussels, bread, The 3 guys all had coq au vin and ate every bite of it. 2 of us had fish entrees and ate every bite. One in the group is vegetarian the chef made her vegetarian risotto and salad minus the cheese. She ate every bite although normally a fussy eater. Today I'm 2000 miles away and dreaming about that French onion soup. Hoping that the couple who own the restaurant live a happy life and serve many happy patrons.

Very fine traditional French food. Onion soup delicious. Coq au Vin perfect. Wines are reasonably priced but not very good. Better wines are easily found at similar price points. They could do a little better. All in all a very fine meal at a very reasonable price.

Stumbled upon Tradition by accident with my girlfriend and we were very happy with the accident! The staff was inviting and helpful and the food was superb. The wine selection is expansive and we had the daily specials which were both fantastic.

Had dinner Christmas Eve with friends. The restaurant was sparsely filled when we arrived at 6:30. We were no sooner given our menus when the waitress asked for our meal choices. We asked to order drinks first. Once we received them, the pressure was on again to order. Five of our meals were placed two at a time. The sixth meal was placed 3-4 minutes later. The food was average, the service short staffed, and the bill was added in error between two of the couples. Very disappointed based on previous reviews. I received a most sincere apology from the owner and his wife today. He apologized more than once and was most sincere in his concern with regard to my review. This, in and of itself, was over and above customer service excellence at its best I truly appreciate his concern re: this matter... a true gentlemen.

This place is amazing. My parents are visiting and are vegetarians. The staff and chef were really accommodating and made them special pasta and rissotto. Everything we ordered was amazing!

Experience - better than anticipated. Every detail of the meal experience was nearly perfect, the wine list offered pairings not found at similar establishments. Service and desert we're exceptional. And the piano at the end of the meal added a unique touch. I will be a regular customer with this small scale French restaurant, where only the freshest and best are served.
