I’m a regular customer at this location , I have noticed a great change! Faster service , friendly, clean. new management is amazing! Even the cook speaks to me when I come to order and pay for my food! Keep up the good work.

I have change my rating BECAUSE, THEY PUT A CODE LOCK on the bathroom. I had slight emergency to use it, I was informed it was for customer only. I go to this place all time for my fast food, but I use the drive Thur. when I went in in a hurry I noticed the code lock, I really needed to use the restroom, I got into an argument with one of the employees to use it she kept telling me it was for customers only. been going to the place for you 3 years. but now they put a lock on it. she was very rude. and I was going to buy something after I got out. this was an emergency for me. this is impossible put a lock in the bathroom. I'm handicapped! why would she arguing with me. she finally opened the door. but I was really upset, so I didn't buy anything. I will buy something later through the drive-thru. but I hope I never see that employee again. the link don't work!!!! I can't explain it to your website.

Stopped in for lunch. While hubby was waiting to order, I thought I would quickly run to the restroom. Huge sign on both locked doors that said “must have combination to get in -guests only”. So walked back to register and asked for the code. I was told she could not give me the code. She went on to explain, that she personally had to walk me to the restroom and put in the code. Needless to say, we left before ordering our food. This is so sad to me that a grown adult has to be escorted to a bathroom in restaurant. We will not return.

40 mins to get food. Wasn't even a long line.

Sat in the line for 40 minutes with only 4 cars in front of me. Once you are in line, there’s no way out. They said they were backed up because people kept coming in the lobby. So the lobby would get their food first. I understand being backed up, I entered the line with only 4 cars ahead of me. But if you can’t do both, shut the drive thru down. This resulted in me being late for work. I work only a couple minutes away. I thought with a half hour, I had plenty of time getting to work. Also watched the lady separate the cups and stick her hands in mine when doing so. Never again.

Have good food and drive thru was efficient.

In Tavares it is filthy with very poor service, after going inside, I will never, ever eat there again

I'm going to start with I love Hardees. The people were nice at this location, but that's the only thing they had going. I read some of the reviews and I mine as well hit copy and paste. As we came in and approached the counter the floor was extremely sticky. We order chicken strips and a big hot ham & cheese and two kids chicken strip meal. We went to get our drinks and were greeted by a roach which I killed and put in the trash. The tables were dirty like they haven't been wiped down in days. Once our food came out the big hot ham was cold and the strips seemed like they were reheated or refried, so we went back to make sure we got fresh food. All I can say is I hope they correct this situation because thier losing customers and tarnishing the Hardees image.

OK, so I usually dine in , So this is going to be my third time going through the drive-through it seems like every time I go through the drive-through they mess up my order so it was between breakfast and lunch so I asked for a coffee and two biscuits. The biscuits were a little bit hard on the outside and soft on the inside, good, I like that , but when I order my Superstar famous burger, I like it with Lettuce , onions, tomato and pickle they always give me a cheeseburger👎😫. By the time I looked at my order, my superstar famous burger was not it 😱 I hate to go back I had already gotten to my destination, 6 miles away, and I was disappointed again I guess I will sit there at the drive-through window and look at my order before I leave not satisfy😢 I love my superstar famous burger☹️ Location Tavares Florida but high, 27 in Leesburg good service

I love Hardee's but this location just has to work on productivity. Getting orders processed. Employees were friendly, just slow at getting the orders completed. I gad a mobile and STILL had to wait more than normal. Once again, the Employees were plessant.

Listen I grew up in Mount Dora and back in the day Hardee's was always busy especially on the weekends. I don't blame the staff but someone needs to step up. The service was ok food not so great and don't get me started on the sticky floors in the whole restaurant and please beware of the men's bathroom. Come on have some pride. Enter at your own risk

Dirty as HELL the countertops are so grungy Sticky floor Toilets look like they never get cleaned... I'd hate to work in the kitchen, seeing the rest of the store It takes FOREVER to get your food here They always claim they're overstaffed yet nothing gets clean? Never eating here again. Waited 20mins in drive through for 1 burger and 2 tender wraps. Wasted my whole lunch break and I was late getting back even though I was the only person in line.

Its Hardee's. You're going to have a wait at this location. But. The food is always good. Worth the long wait.

I've been going to Hardee for the last 45 years. This Hardees needs to updated and totally remodeled. This is the oldest and out dated one I've been to. It is the closest one to my location, but I now will drive the distance to a newer one or just go somewhere else. I like Hardees, but no longer this location. I am well aware it's a problem to get people to work, but other locations are handling it better. If our Goverment would stop paying people to stay home, we might not have a problem hiring good people who want to work and take pride in what they do. Doesn't matter what the job is, take pride in what your doing. Didn't mean to get on a soap box. Train your people, starting with management.

Slippery floors and filthiest, nastiest fast food joint I’ve ever been to. When ordering food while our feet were sliding around from the greasy floors (don’t mop your floors with greasy kitchen water) dust particles blew down on me from the ac vent above the cash register. Big black nasty dust balls. Was completely grossed out. Was at a vb tourney all day and just needed some food.. Bathroom was blown out. Soft drinks and utensil area on the left had not been cleaned and neglected for weeks it looked like. Call corporate. Slip and fall waiting to happen. Nastiest, filthiest hardees I’ve ever been to.and can’t believe this place has passed a food inspection.

Just ordered a double mushroom Swiss hamburger and got a single but paid for a double. Food taste terrible and the fries were cold. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT HERE. Workers uniforms were filthy.

This place needed a thorough cleaning. The drink station was a mess with spilled drink everywhere. And on the wall behind it with nasty stuff all over it. A tea dispenser was just sitting on the counter by the cash register, and the outside of it was very dirty. The floors had food all over it by the fry station. An employee was standing up at one of the talker tables eating and then going back and forth behind the counter with food in hand. I haven't been to the Tavares restaurant in a long time and won't be back any time soon. The health inspector needs to do a surprise visi. I can only imagine what it looks like where the customers don't see. It's very disappointing to see it such a dirty mess.

Stopped by after leaving the hospital for the Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich Combo. I asked that the young woman please be sure that the fries were hot. She assured me that she would. I had to pull ahead as the chicken was cooking, and it would be a minute. When she brought out my order, I thanked her and drove away. Guess what?? The darned fries WERE NOT HOT!!! It's my own fault for not checking them, but I assumed that since the chicken was cooking, the fries would be cooking, as well, and would be hot, per my specific request. I know, never assume. I usually check them straight up and hand them right back if they are not hot. Ya got me, Hardee's, but never again! The sandwich was good, though.

I'm not giving a 5 yet because in the past location has provided me with bad service and okay food. This time, It was fresh, hot, and service was great. So they're earning their way to 5 stars with me.

We have not been in for over a year because it was really going down hill after our favorite manager left for another restaurant. But decided to give it another chance. Jennifer G. Was still there and very nice, food was prefect and served very quickly and dining area was much cleaner!

The biscuits and gravy were good but the young lady that filled our order was the sweetest young lady friendly and courteous

The bathrooms at this Hardee’s need ATTENTION and I saw a baby on a high chair eating French fries and his cup was on the floor it think it was one of the coworkers baby because there was nobody else in the restaurant.This place needs to be shut down or fully remodeled Will NOT come back

I might not eat here but twice a year. Biscuits and gravy or just a sausage Biscuit! Best fast food breakfast! Manager was super nice!

I tried to go for lunch today but after almost 10 minutes at the counter I gave up and left, 3 guys seemed like they were placing an order talking with the attendant after a few minutes left the counter and didn't come back while I was there. On my work lunch break I can't wait, I haven't seen the lady there in a long time that was the manager. It was great when she was there, I think it's time for it to close and open something new here, it looks closed and empty anyway.

Husband couldn't use the bathroom as it was so dirty. Toilets were full and needed attention.

I ordered a platter the biggest complaint is the egg paper thin egg and not much of it No substance at all. Pitiful mind you I've been going to Hardee's for 40 years the last few years they have been going down hill. It's started when they got rid of the cinnamon raisin biscuits

Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was delicious. Smiling friendly attentive drive-thru staff. Everything was hot and fresh, exactly as ordered. Great job 👏

Prepare to spend 45 minutes in the drive thru. Sloooooow and then will have a conversation with your food in hand at the window with each other before handing you your food.

This was the worse service I have ever had. Your cashier had her kid in speaker phone.i wanted almost 5 mins for her to even acknowledge me and take my order.. the whole time her kid is still on speaker phone talking to her and yelling.. my fries were cold and soggy and my ham and cheese looked like someone smashed it.. the floor throughout the restaurant and bathroom were sticky. Will not be back to this Hardee's

I had stopped coming for breakfast because of customer service was aweful and biscuits were hard. Now this is a new team, they rock!

Couldn't even finish the burgers, burnt and just covered in sauce to try and hide it. No was I'd even there to help you since they are all outside smoking. Not coming back.

Place is a disaster. Not much else to say. You ever walk in a place and get that ugh yuck vibe. Didn't help that the place was empty and I mean looked closed when I walked up to counter and said hello a worker came around. Menus screens were all off. A hand written note on counter ten itmes in it with message . Menu screen not working this is what we have. Took 20min to get a 10pc tender, burger and fry. They seriously need to shut down and remodel, rehire, and maybe it'd be worth stopping by.

We went through the drive through on our way home from an event and needed something to eat. It was about 10 - 10:30 pm so yes it was lat but not near closing tume. we were in two vehicles. We ordered our food and proceeded to sit in the drive through for 30 minutes. I ordered a bacon double cheese burger as did my brother. I got a regular burger for my son. My brothers wife ordered a hot ham and cheese. After waiting 30 min for our food i didnt get the bouble or the bacon i ordered. My sons food was fine but the hot hame and cheese that was ordered was only two little slices of ham it was more bread than a sandwich. The food was not good at all no flavor at all. Again i understand that its fast food and you get what you get with fast food. Wont be going to another hardees

Avoid this place. Just.left. Food was cold, fries awful..change your oil. Took a few bites and threw it away. Cost way too much for the awful food.

This place is a mess. Needs to be seriously cleaned up or a remodel. Food is good. Service is ok. Supposed to be open at 6. At 645 doors still locked. Drive thru menu showing only lunch and dinner meals. It looks like no one cares here. Sad.

So this morning my husband went inside to order his food before he went into work. A lady that works inside front desk didn't say a word to him or my husband was looking at the meun to see what he wanted to eat and his coffee. Her name is Johnna Barlow and the person that is in charge name Debra H. Refused my husband order to take it. He didn't do anything wrong or say anything towards Johhnna Barlow. She's a Karen. A big one the queen of Karen's. We have proof what she did wrong to him. She ran back to the kitchen and like she seen a ghost to take his order said he threatened her. No he did not. Not even spoken a word. Corporate will be called and re have the Receipt and you will lose customer that go there all the time starting now.

This place was terrible the day I went in there. I would like to think it was just a bad day for the store but I have a feeling it's poor ownership and / or bad management.... I went in to pick up some quick lunch. When I walked in, there was trash and dirt all over the floor and old food and trash on a few of the tables in the front area by the cash registers. The staff there obviously didn't want to be there working. One pregnant employee didn't feel good and it was pretty obvious. She walked out from behind the counter with customers standing there waiting to order and headed off around the dining room like she was going to do something but never did and didn't bother taking anyone's order either the entire time I was there even though there were 3 or 4 of us in the store trying to order. The lady that was waiting on her food had to come back 3 times to get her food made right while 3 or 4 other employees either were sitting in the dining room and watched or were wandering around the store while the one and only cook they had working complained and got an attitude with the other employee working the drive through as well as the one that had "messed up" the customers order. I'm still not sure who's fault it was the way they were yelling at each other. She was threatening to quit and it was loud enough we could hear her complaining in the order area of the store. I did go ahead and order the chicken tenders and watched her cook and handle them all the way to my bag and there was nothing wrong with my food but there was definitely a problem in the store between employees and the manager and the customers in general. I felt like not one of them except the "manager lady" wanted to be there or even cared what kind of presentation or how well the food came out. Pretty sad because I don't normally eat fast food but I do like Hardee's chicken tenders the best of any fast food. I won't be going back. Overall the experience was one of the worst I have seen around here.

This must be the filthiest fast food store I have ever been in 330pm and the tables still had not been cleaned from breakfast and from what I saw the kitchen areas were filthy also the restaurant smelled not in a good way

Went through drive through at 1:30 PM on a Sunday. Not one car in drive through. Ordered 3 PLAIN cheeseburgers. Received 3 ice cold cheeseburgers fully loaded. How hard is ut to get 3 plain hamburgers correct

We stopped in for a burger. I ordered cheeseburger and my husband ordered a double cheeseburger. They both came to us cold. We asked to have a warm burger and the person in the kitchen was not happy. She was very vocal about it . The staff was saying that they needed to be hit. The kitchen worker was just upset we wanted a hot or warm burger. We ended up getting a refund and going somewhere else because of her attitude.

This location is absolutely horrible. This is the second time we're are missing food from our delivery. Called to speak to the manager she was rude. Trying to speak to the district manager and they gave me the number for another location not in their district. I recommend never going to this location. Don't waste your time or money

So being from NC where there are quite a few Hardee’s in each city I was happy to run across one. However the customer service I received was so awkward and horrible. There was about 2 cars ahead of me and I waited in line 15 mins after waiting at the speaker for 5 mins….. then I got to the window and payed. Waited 12 mins at the window for the girl to tell me that they did not have any tenders and she realized 5 minutes ago so she was going to drop Some now….. I remained professional and just told her don’t worry about the tenders, refund me for that portion and give me the rest of my order, so she waits a few mins and then comes back to the window and asks if I need anything else. At this point I go tell her I’m coming inside because I’m honestly not understanding if it’s a communication error or what. So I talk to somebody different inside who didn’t seem to care at all and finally get a sandwich 10 mins later. I was so irritated because Hardee’s was my first Job before I started my career and I literally felt as if I could have went back there and rang it up, cooked it, and served everybody in the drive through in a few minutes. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I JABE EVER EXPERIENCED

Stopped really quick and It looked disgusting inside. Mold on the ac vent, fly’s everywhere. The employee Sara not using gloves or washed her hands to handle the food after touching the screen. After we got our food they told us that the warmers weren’t working so our food was cold. When asked for a refund she got mad and was rude. They didn’t have half of the items in the menu either. Whatever you do don’t step a foot in here. Or you might die.

These clowns belong in a circus. Worst customer service, worst prep, worst everything. I was the only car in line, only order to put together, they STILL messed up nearly every aspect of my food. Sandwich was fine but handed me a bag with no fries when it was a combo. Gave an attitude about correcting. Ordered a drink without ice, checked receipt the receipt said no ice, yet they can't read here. After repeating the order back to the drive thru lady 3 times because she wasn't focused. And then checking AGAIN at the window. Pitiful. Should truly fire every single person in the building all the way to management because this one clearly has terrible judgement when hiring and no ability to train.

I ordered a chili dog, no customers at the restaurant at all I drove thru, 10 minutes later I finally get my dog , looked at it and there were no onions on it so I asked the lady at the window to fix it she came back and said all they have are red onions, I said that will work, she took the dog and a couple minutes later she brings it back out to me I looked at it there were 6 tiny pieces of onions on it, so being I love mustard and onions on by chili dog which is what is supposed to come on it, so I gave it back and I'm starting to get a bit frustrated about this, so she brings it back to me with way to many onions it and got my money back and went to checkers for a chili dog for half as much.

Their sausage gravy is my absolute favorite however they forgot to put sausage in my gravy. The food came out at random times so most everything was cold. The staff was very unorganized and less than courteous. That is not the norm for this place. They need some training!

Ordered through Uber eats. Drivers kept leaving due to this place not having food ready. Clearly from other reviews they don’t have their act together. Ultimately cancelled the order and got a refund. Two biscuits and coffee. Wasn’t complicated.

Oh my god. No, no and no. Shut this place down. I should’ve known when I pulled in and there were no cars in the parking lot and no customers inside. Went to the drive thru. Ordered 2 burger combos, an unsweetened iced tea and a chocolate shake. $23. She handed me the shake and it was the consistency of water with a chunk of whipped cream floating on top. The tea was warm. I handed them both back. She then informed me they are out of ice… which would’ve been handy information when I ordered. I said no thanks and left. Luckily she hadn’t asked me to pay yet. Reading all the bad reviews, I don’t wonder why.

Picked up Kid's meals tonight on the way home as we needed to give the kids something. My wife went to test the temperature of one of the chicken tenders and they were so old and so stale that she could barely bite into them. They were terrible! We couldn't give them to our 2.5 year olds. Would have turned around and taken them back but needed to get the kids home.

Never provided me a receipt, the ice machines for beverages weren’t working, over worked employee gave me attitude for wanting ice and unsweat tea and then ignored me until I left without any thing at all. Couldn’t get money back because I wasn’t provided a receipt… Hardee’s literally stole from me.

Bad services. We dine in the restaurant and my husband was there for some minutes and no one was there to take his order. No one was in the restaurant but us.

The CEO needs to get off his behind and spend a month working there. A few employees using there phones and touching thier mouths then handling your food. Only one older lady was actually working. The food was terrible I ordered the cheese steak burger and it had been sitting so long the bun was soggy on the bottom and the cheese melted out all over the wrapper. It was gross. I feel bad giving this review because I feel sorry for the older lady she was very nice. These CEOs need to put more effort into the care of their employees and maybe they would like their jobs more and put more effort into providing a great customer experience. After all these workers are the backbone of the company and should be treated that way. They should be ashamed to own such a untrained unclean undesirable establishment.

This store really lacks staff. I will say that with the few workers they have, they work hard and try their best. Just be patient in the drive-thru. Do not expect to be out quickly.

1/25/23 got stuck in drive thru for 15 minutes and my order was wrong when I got to work. With two car already in the drive thru waiting when I drove around and truck got in before me. He sat waiting to have his order taken for at least 8 min. and the two cars were still waiting for their orders. Of course I also had to wait for them to ask for my order. By the time I left it was 15 minutes minimum to when I started looking at my clock. I got to work late and my order had the wrong breakfast sandwich. I prefer Hardee’s breakfast sandwiches over others but can’t bare the waiting time.

Never got to order set in line for 12 minutes and only moved one car space up so we left

Mismanagement. The food is decent. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. My only issue is with management. Me coming from 30 years plus of customer service and management. I must say management here is lacking to say the least. Just speaking to a few of the employees here. Favoritism is in abundance. It's no wonder they have such a high turnover rate. And the manager speaking badly about customers to employees. Bad mouthing customers based on their appearance. Extremely unprofessional. It's bad when the employees have this restaurant have to continually apologize to customers for their managers poor behavior. It's only a matter of time before the manager in question bad mouths the wrong person and it causes a serious issue.
