I live gar from this place , came here because it was pet friendly… omg ! Its amazing, my favorite brisket so far . Its a charming hole in the wall , where everyone seems to know everyone . Super great people and great food . Left with 4lbs of brisket to go - plan was vacuum pack it - didnt make it 24hrs in my house . Loved it …

A hole in the wall like no other in Kendall. Great ribs and pork sandwiches. Breakfast is very good as well..Service is prompt and efficient..go there as much as i can.

Imagine man cave meets hole in the wall with bbq. Great atmosphere and the bearded chef was super cool to talk with. Smoked salmon had a great flavor and wasn’t too smoky which can overpower salmon. Wings had great flavor and great sauce but will add they were a little overdone on the charred side. Overall a great recommendation

Good food in general,I ordered a chicken wrap was tasteless, the burger is good, the wings , corn nuggets, the variety of beers is definitely a place to visit at least once.

I have been dying to come to this place. The taste of the ribs is just wonderful. The service was super nice and attentive. I didn't like that there are no prices on the menu so I was scared to find out what the bill was. I am not a fan personally of cole slaw and potato salad and the fries looked basic. The corn nuggets were great. It would be cool if they upped their game on the sides. Maybe add some sweet potato tots, seasoned waffle fries, or mac and cheese (like Popeyes or Chik fil a). Just a tip...Glad I finally was able to make it. I can't seem to get there before 3pm.

Great little mom and pop restaurant with excellent service and food. We were waiting for a table and they got us some drinks while we waited. They even brought out an appetizer for those of waiting to share. Place is small but worth the wait. Burger was delicious and I can't wait to go back and try out a few more things on the menu and their variety of craft beers.

Stopped in for lunch. We were greeted immediately upon walking in. The place is really cute. The food was absolutely delicious. We no sooner sat down and had our food. Fresh lemonade was awesome. We were so happy to have found them. Wish we lived closer, we'd be taking family and friends there. (We are from New York)

Phenomenal on all counts! Best BBQ in Southern Florida, vibe, decor, wait staff, culture, cooks, food, beers selection. Order anything, I was with a party of 8 so got to try a lot. Top notch. Other spots near by, not even close.

It would be 5 if the brisket had not been tough and only tasting of sauce and onions. Everything else was amazing! Incredible smoked fish dip, pork ribs, and chicharron (pork belly). Maybe I went on an off day for brisket. But other than that, this place is amazing! Will go back!

5/31/24 Edit: Haven't been to HM in a while. Food as always amazing 👌 I would give this place a 10. The owner is such a chill guy... U no longer have to wait for Thursday in u want to eat the Tomahawk, I learned you can reserve it by calling ahead a day prior.. first time coming here. didn't even know this place existed, it's literally a whole in the wall but O-M-G!! food is good, atmosphere is great,staff is super nice. definitely coming back

I don't get it. How can this place have so many positive reviews? I just ate there on 5/18 and I had the worst brisket I've ever had in my life. Half the plate was unrendered fat, the other half was a mushy, pot roasty mess. Whoever made it does not know what they're doing. You have to trim a brisket before you smoke it, you DO NOT leave a 2-3 inch fat cap on it and expect it to render. You also cut it across the grain, not with the grain but I think they had to cut it with the grain because it was wrapped for so long that it turned mushy and there would be no way to slice it correctly without it falling apart. Look at the picture, look at the fat, the strands of meat. Does that look tasty to you? I would be ashamed to place a plate of that in front of someone. That's how my plate went back. I also got the cheese chicken sandwich and that was not good. The chicken was flavorless and cubed with a weird texture. Where does one get cubed chicken? Maybe at Subway and this place. And why are there no prices on the menu? Maybe so they can charge whatever they want? I'll never go back.

Unexpected location in a storage shed makes the atmosphere even better. Met the owner, great guy. Food was excellent. Definitely worth the stop when headed from the Miami airport to the Keys.

Wonderful, inclusive space. The staff were very friendly and made me feel safe and welcome. I really love the inclusion of the gender neutral bathroom. Best bbq place in Miami.

Great and awesome brisket, but portions are not as they used to be, and the price has increased. But that's everywhere. It's literally a "hole in the wall" type of place that tried to move to that Sabal Chase restaurant space. Back when. (Remember Tacos & Tattoos' old space?) But another restaurant got it instead, bummer, I live there. It would have been heaven, only if. I think they would be great in a larger space. They are so cramped and busy now around lunchtime, forget about it. I do only take out and that's crowded too. The atmosphere is very chill if you can get a table. (Makes it hard to plan to meet others there when it's too crowded to be seated.) But that brisket still has my attention. Their biggest problem is, It's sooo good.

On the way from Miami airport to the keys, found this gem. Literally in a storage unit, look for the smoker in the parking lot. Really friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and delicious food. We got the brisket and burger- both really moist and well seasoned.

The fish dip is off the chain. chicken wrap made with love😉 my son says... and waffles with candied pork belly and a fried egg heaven. Atmosphere and service always very warming. Thank u all

Went here for the first time and was served one of the best cheeseburgers ever! That burger could have been served in any restaurant in the world and the owner could have charged ten times as much for it. I hope he ignores this review and leaves the price the same. Will be coming back in the future to try other things on the menu.

This place is a hole in the wall. Suffice to say the restaurant is a legit warehouse storage room. The first thing you see is the legitimate smoker outside and then you turn around and see the door to the establishment.filled with stickers. You go through and everyone greets you and it is filled with memorabilia. From police uniforms calendars and flags. The country music was vibing between Johnny cash, Darius Rucker, and Kenny rogers. But the food! Every single thing I ate was fresh and full of flavor. We had smoked fish dip with house made chips, breakfast omelette, and a brisket platter. With cafe con leche! It was without a doubt one of the best places I have eaten. The food is great and the vibes are perfect. This place deserves all the praises and more. As soon as I left I raved about it to everyone I could. Please stop by and enjoy their amazing food and place.

There are several good bbq spots near me, and I have been hearing about IHM. I went for a work lunch, and the food was delicious and the service was good. The space is a bit small, and the parking is a little treacherous, but I would come again.

This place is kind of a hole in the wall, but let his not trick you. They serve an absolutely GREAT barbecue and this place is packed on weekdays, let alone weekends. Highly recommended for a good juicy, smoky brisket.

My first time here and I was left happy and satisfied . This restaurant executes top tier bbq with choices to match. Out of all the other BBQ restaurants in Miami, this is the best by far. My ribs was absolutely delicious, super tender, juicy and with the perfect smoky touch. All I can say is, the taste is on point! To top it off, their service is flawless - my waitress was attentive and friendly. Overall, the food is delicious and they've gained a new customer.

We tried this place for the first time via Uber last week and we loved the food so much that we decided to check it out in-person. The food was still a 10/10. We ordered their half rack meal that normally comes with either coleslaw, potato salad or chips. Apparently they were out of coleslaw and potato salad so the server offered potato chips (which is just a simple bag of Lays plain potato chips). We weren't interested in those so we requested if we could substitute it for something else. She offered that we could have fries instead however, she failed to mention that it would be a sur charge, so naturally when we got the bill we were surprised and disappointed but at this point we couldn't argue since we indeed ate the fries but it would've been nice if she had mentioned it and given us a heads up about it. And really, we felt that the fries should've been included with the meal considering that they were all out of their usual sides. Again, the the food was amazing but the service just wasn't there. Coming from someone that has worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, its not okay to surprise your guests with unexpected surcharges on the bill and also they should've considered being more accommodating to their guests when they are out items in the menu (they fries should've just been included with the meal). Also, we noticed a 3% "cc" (which we think stands for "credit card" however, we paid cash - what was that about? I hope they learn to explain these things to their guests going forward. -Not Happy

As soon as you park and get out of your car the smoker greets you with that pleasant Smokey smell that lets you know “It’s about to go down”. As soon as you step inside you automatically teleport into a cozy American Badass Dive bar with 80+ select beers to choose from. As soon as you sit down the service is quick, if you need help the family staff members will be great at helping you pick the best tasting options tailored to your liking. The brisket sandwich is AMAZING 🤩, the chicken Philly is AMAZING, the Pulled pork is very tender and flavorful especially with their homemade Carolina BBQ sauce only available there. The fries are ALWAYS crisp and done just right. Honestly a Favorite spot to grab a quick bite.

You may have a hard time finding it, but it literally is the Gold at the end of the rainbow. Everything is fantastic.

Great little gourmet barbecue and award winning burger place. Owned by a fireman's son. Guy the with the awesome red beard. Burgers are spectacular. During my second visit I looked forward to trying their brisket. It was lunch time. I thought the menu said brisket only on Thursdays but the waitress to my surprise said it was available. Sad to say it was not good. Overly Chopped up and DRY AND TOUGH. Tiny serving. Plate seemed to overwhelm it with so much space. Looked odd. I gotta believe this was brisket they use for the burgers etc and not the best they serve fresh on Thursdays. Good beer selection. Huge BBQ and smoker outside working. I would suggest they improve seating as it's uncomfortable. Place cozy and can go to next level in this warehouse district. A unique experience. Will try again and improve rating if better experience. I think last visit was an anomaly and they will correct and improve.

Wednesday's Oxtail is outrageous, slow cooked in a tomato base and served on a bed of rice and gabonso beans. The heat was perfect. Just enough to lightly touch you. The selection of bottle beers only is enormous,

Just ate here for the first time. The food was so good that we regret not finding it earlier. Hubby and I had a combination of tacos- pulled pork, brisket, and smoked salmon. All were absolutely delicious. But even more, we were treated like family. Karl and his crew couldn't have made us feel more welcome. We've found our new favorite place.

Thanks to YouTube we discovered this amazing place, when looking for some great food places for our trip to Miami. The staff is super friendly and the food is just to die for. Sadly we don't live in the area at all (we're from germany), but if we did, we would be there all the time 😉

We watched some review shows about the BBQ here and were not disappointed. In Miami on vacation from England and had to visit! Such friendly staff who were so welcoming. Food was delicious. We chose the salmon dip and chips (very light and fresh), loaded fries with brisket which had so many flavours, the full rack of ribs which were smoky and huge. We also had wings and coleslaw/ potato salad. Well cooked and prepped food that we almost managed to finish off!! Thanks guys for looking after us so well! ♥️

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! This was such a pleasant surprise. The quality of the food is incredible and delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful and eye catching. The facilities are clean and the service is excellent. I tried the house recommended burger the Mondays Remedy I think it was called. It was the juiciest Burger with a bun with crispy edges and two delicious slices of thick I think maple bacon. It was Incredible!!!! A coworker got ribs that practically fell of the bone 🤤🤤🤤. We had the brisket fries to share and wow...every dish had such flavor. The size of the Chicken Wrap was even larger than the burger and I didn't even think it was possible. I will 100% be back.

Giving it 4 stars as this is real bbq in Miami. Their corn nuggets and brisket fries are amazing (would wish the cheese was melted cheddar and then shredded on top. Ribs were great. Sadly ,and reason why 4 stars, The bbq burger was very underwhelming for being an award winner. Putting slaw in it made it better.

Very cool spot tucked away in the middle of a bunch of warehouses. Very unexpected to walk in and see the place. Great atmosphere with laid back vibes. The service was phenomenal, the food was even better. We cannot wait to come back and try breakfast and the tomahawks.
