Tacos Mexico in Three Lakes - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

Last weekend we were hoping to eat lunch at Tacos Mexico. Based on the Google reviews we thought it was worth checking out. We get there, first of all it was hard to find. This is basically a small counter with two stools and a grill behind in the back of a Kwik Stop Food Store. We wasted our trip and were disappointed, there was no mention on Google of the restaurant being closed for remodeling. 😡The man behind the counter couldn’t tell us when they will be re-opening. 😔 For these reasons, I will rate them 3 stars. First glance it doesn’t look like much, but on the other hand these “little hole in the wall” dining places have surprised us in the past. It does not take away from serving good food and their authenticity. We may try them out next time we are in the area and will update. 082124

Amazing Place the absolute Best I have ever been If you are a healthy food enthusiast you are absolutely going to fall in love with so many options all the food is fresh and they have all natural Juice Bar you can say that is amazing Price wise is The Best You get Big portions 1 plate is about 2 adult meals This is definitely a place that can Replace My kitchen 😂

Looking for authentic Mexican food, or even better, a hidden gem? Tacos Mexico is the spot! I ordered the combo of 3 tacos with rice and beans for just $13 - what a deal! The tacos are double-wrapped in white corn tortillas, and you can choose any protein. Their protein choices range from the classic carne asada to pastor and more! The owner himself prepared my meal, and he was incredibly kind and humorous. You can tell he makes each order with love. I also had a horchata, and it hit the spot. The owner accepts both cash and credit cards for convenience. This sweet hidden gem is inside a Kwik Spot Food Store, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu options.

Everything is on point, real authentic mexican food

My family and I have been coming here for the last 2 months. Atleast twice a week. Everything we have tried on the menu is delicious, freshly made and authentic! Their salsas are top notch, and the cook and hostess taking orders are super nice and hospitable. Taco Tuesday deal is our go to, and on weekends they have Pozole and Menudo, which is just perfect. Thankful I was able to find an authentic Mexican spot in my area, nothing beats this flavor around here!

Came an hour before closing and they were closed. We drove over 20 mins to get here because of their stellar rating. False advertising, not interesting in coming back. Ridiculous

Came once on Monday then back twice since takes pride in his business food is great We’ll update now I come at least once a week gone through the entire menu it’s aways been Great

don't go to this place. Taco Tuesday special, but don't tell them certain meats aren't included until after you pay. $18 for 6 tacos? ??? Someone went before me and got the same 6 tacos and a horchata for $15. Also the place smells of mold. Bad business

An absolute hidden gem! I found about this place when I ran into the Kwik Stop for something. Mexican food is my absolute favorite cuisine and I'm known to be a bit judgemental about it, upon first glance it doesn't look like much but a little counter with two stools and a grill behind it. I decided to come back to try the chilaquiles and an horchata. I looked at the menu for sopes which were not there and I asked the man behind the counter if he has them and he told me to give him extra 5 minutes and he would whip them up for me. Beyond kind and accommodating! The food is fresh and prepared right in front of you. He offered me two hot sauces to go with my meal and packaged everything to go. I took it home and enjoyed every single bite! Will be my regular spot from now on for a quick Mexican bite 🤗

I love this place! Great authentic Mexican food and very affordable pricing. Family owned business with a very nice gentleman that cooks in back. My go to Mexican spot! I got the Mulitas, Tacos, and Horchata 🔥 4 Mulitas alpastor, 2 Carnita Tacos, and Horchata came out to $25! Great pricing!

These are the best tacos there are around. If you're looking for the odd meats like tongue, they have those types of hair. Day have specials every day At a discount you can call and ask them what they have for that day. I know that tacos on Tuesdays are $2.

This is definitely a hidden gem located in the back of a Kwik Mart. We were told of this place from our neighborhood chat and decided to give it a try. The food was fresh and prepared in front of us. Very affordable, quick to serve and a very friendly one person that was working. The place is simple but clean, the atmosphere was more of a food market in the front with the restaurant/food truck style in the back. There was very little seating and easy parking outside. We ordered burritos and they provided us with different selections of hot sauce on the side. They offer many specials during the week with amazing prices. We will definitely return.

I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem on a taco Tuesday and was not disappointed. $2 street tacos were good! It’s become my new obsession. Try the nachos on Thursday’s for $5 they are delicious.

Was looking for authentic Mexican food and found this place through a Google search. We lived in LA and was craving some authentic Mexican. The gentleman was very nice and very helpful. The food is absolutely delicious and comes with all the spices and authentic taste of Mexico. The homemade chips where a staple and had me craving more! My only complaint is the cost for the size of the burrito taco combos. We ordered combos for each meal. $46 for a quesadilla combo-came with homemade chips, three taco combo- came with rice and beans and two burrito and Taco combo with 1 extra taco- did not come with chips or rice and beans. The burrito is fairly small size. If the burrito taco meals would have came with chips it would have been perfect. I am comparing this to a similar gas station restaurant in Los Angeles which we frequent. My biggest takeaway was the homemade chips they are absolutely delicious! Parking is free and widely available when you go in it's a convenience store and you go straight to the back to order the food. In order to get a receipt you provide them your phone number and they send you a text message.

The best tacos and burritos in Kendall. They did catered our Baby Shower in the Train museum by the zoo. Everyone loves the tacos. If you love tacos come here. Highly recommended. Best service too.

Super good food. Fast service. They have specials every week day from $2 tacos to $5 burritos and quesadillas depending on the day. Been here twice already and the food is still awesome. Going to keep coming back for taco tuesdays and probably try $2 mulitas on fridays 🤤. This place rocks
