It was closed when I went on Monday.

Haven't been here since last year, but I will be back to support my King🤴🏿 I had the wingzs, macaroni and the greens which were better than ya mommas or grandma.........! Only problem was they were gritty but I ate them and the grit from which I came from😋 I will be back my 🤴🏿well worth the wait✌🏽❤️

Stop it. 100% vegan place. 420 happy hemp meal !! Talk about a southern home cooked meal! This was yummy! A for real serious happy meal that comes with a quinoa blend salad with sweet creamy dressing, bbq chicken and some serious Mac and cheese with sautéed mushrooms and onions on top my gosh. Super tasty meal comes with a drink. The Mac and cheese is no joke! Red velvet cake Huge slices. with 4 delicious layers. Literally fills up the whole container. It was so tasty! House made juice sweetened with agave, not processed sugar. You can really taste the ingredients! So delicious! Hemplade is 100% vegan and has been in Tallahassee since 2019. This is definitely real chicken. I'm vegan.

Hemplade = Chef Made. What I love most about this spot is the glaring obviousness of the kitchen staff loving what they do. The creative direction translate to diversity in the dish as different items become available through the year. I ordered the fig and ginger chickn sandwich. Which in this case consists of a full oyster mushrooms cluster breaded in a home made batter and fried to near perfection. The cluster does a great job at giving the meaty chew and mouth feel of a girthy sandwich. The batter tastes authentic to that which you'd find on a Texas style blooming onion. The fries were flavorful and well seasoned, Albeit cold by the time I ate them. But that's the downside to takeout with fried foods. The only negative comes from personal preferences, while the fig ginger glaze was tasty, it was too sweet for me and seemed to make the sandwich a bit bland in contrast. I bet something a bit more savory like a thick gravy, or hot sauce would have complimented it very well. Take out only

BEWARE! I usually mind my business but I’m so upset and just had to say something! Hemplade Vegan Cafe did us so wrong! We ordered two dinner meals that comes with a side salad and a side of fries. We paid a nice chunk of change (Over $50) for our meals and are met with the smallest portions, a side salad that is more of a garnish, and an unauthorized substitution from jack fruit to mushrooms. I used to love Hemplade and was willing to pay more for vegan food… but I can’t justify this! They could have called and said we are out of jackfruit, are you ok if we substitute… no instead they just did it... I believe they were about to close and took our money, gave us scraps. Such a poor experience trying to get my concerns heard by bite squad and the restaurant closed before I could call for myself.

Omgoodness the food is divine. I tried the vegan burger and fries. Soooo yummy!! We came back the next day and ordered the vegan wings and Mac and cheese. The wings (oyster mushrooms) were so delicious, we came back yet again to get some more. We were in town getting my daughter settled at FAMU, man I would go broke eating here. The fresh Mango juice was also soooo good. I can’t wait to visit my daughter just so I can eat here again..

I love there smoothies , homemade teas basically everything. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and peaceful. The service you will receive is like no other typical restaurant they greet you with the most up respect and introduce you to food that is good for your body.

Stopped by on a Monday passing through town. It’s Thursday and we’re still talking about how good it was. Mushroom wings, burger, a bowl, and burine Mac. Will be back.

I had the k Kushroom Burger which I was amazing! Delicious and full of mushroom goodness and served on a delicious artisan bun. I can't wait to go back. I finally came through Tallahassee again today and ordered the same thing. So delicious!

I had the best pizza of my entire life

1st time trying Vegan and this was definitely the correct spot to try it! The owner is very nice, informative, professional and take their time cooking you fresh, delicious, healthy food. I was recommend to anyone, vegan or not.

Absolutely delicious, its literally me and my husband's favorite now. Wonderful service the energy and vibe is so friendly, warm and comforting I enjoy eating here with my family at least once every 2weeks since it is a lil pricey but its definitely worth the money 💚🌿

As Black History Month rolls in, I thought it be appropriate to visit my local black own business. I’m happy that I did because it was a well needed change. I had the smoothie with sea moss and it was delicious. My palette started dances with the first sip. I also ordered the kush fries, which came out super crispy and well seasoned. Before I left I did purchase the sea moss gel, which normally I’d order off line but I’m blessed to have it right in the neighborhood with great quality. Needless to say I shall return, must try he famous oyster wings 😋 Thanks HempLade for a delicious new start to my year. Blessings

Went to this place right before they closed I ordered the oyster mushroom burger with vegan Mac and cheese with a side of vegan hemp fries. The burger was ok not really any special taste you could put your finger on probably would have been better without Mac and cheese on it so that was on me, but my biggest disappointment was the very unique hemp fries very tasty very different. Like I said I came before they closed so some how I’m assuming that the grease was turned off for the night as I walked in because I had to wait a while for them. Very tasty but super soggy soaked with grease and if you know anything about fries this is a big no no very disappointed because I did wait ⏰ for it, and if you eat vegan you know quantity food is hard to come by and I feel like your last customer should be treated like the first customer of the day.The couple was super nice but by the time I tasted fry’s and walk back the door was 🔒 locked. Very unfortunate😞

Service is always on point. I always get teas, and I have lots of questions to make sure I get the right one. The staff always leads me down the right path.

This was my first time @ this ALL Plant Based Gem 💎 and I absolutely loved it!! The food was sooo amazing!! Colorful, Flavorful, it spoke to my soul..☺🙌🏽😋 They do have gluten free and soy free options.. They offer sweets.. I had the red velvet and it was the best plant based version of red velvet.. Not too sweet (both the cake and frosting), subtle and crushed up nuts on top, and also moist!! They also make their very own juices/smoothies/teas made with agave.. I have to admit, it is pricy but we'll worth every dollar.. They get tons of support and may run out of product toward the end of the day so make sure you go early!! And the neighborhood can be considered a bit rough.. I saw nothing but beautiful people hustling to make a way with what they have to offer.. Either way, I loved it because it brings life back to that community.. The owners were amazing, although I only spoke to the Empress womb-an.. The Emperor was cooking..😝 I didn't catch her name but we had several very deep conversations.. The ambiance was perfect for it.. They also offer/promote artist and healing activities for ALL!!

The staff is very knowledgable and eager to please. I bought tea, gummies and a smoothie after my dad had success trying their products. I literally have been in chronic pain for weeks. Within 10 minutes of leaving while sipping the seamoss smoothie slowly, my pain began to disappear. The tea is delicious and also has helped me feel great. I went back today for more tea, gummies and goodies to support my health!

Hemplade is great. Tried the Burnie Mac kushroom burger. MUSHROOMY succulent vegan mushroom "burger" topped with vegan Mac and cheese, greens, on a pretzel bun, served with blue corn chips sprinkled with hemp seeds. I'm gonna try every menu offering. The drinks are innovative. And pricey, but the quality is five-star. Vegan red velvet cake looks wonderful. I will be back many times

Very nice place! I’ve been meaning to go for a year and I’m glad I did. I got the oyster wingz and fries. Delish! It’s seasoned so nicely and I love that it’s vegan and full of healthful ingredients. I also got some sea moss gel, which is what spurred me to finally make it in. I’ll be back for sure :)

Ive been wanting to try HempLade for a while now and TODAY was that day! I have to admit I have been missing a little peace of Heaven right here on Earth. I got the Soul Vegan Bowl but switched out for Jakefruit and mac amd cheese. Listen my mouth is watering while typing this. I cant wait to try the other items on the menu. Be prepared when you walk in the atmosphere is amazing and the smells match the inviting vibe. I highly recommend this establishment for your eating needs.

Love, love, love the red velvet cake they gave me. I came here last minute wanting to get a vegan cake for my friend. Obviously they could not accommodate my request of a whole cake last minute but I got a few slices to go and they were AMAZING. And the size of the red velvet was plentiful. The space inside is not too big, there's enough seating for maybe 2 parties, expect to take your food to go. It was also a little pricey for my taste, but I am willing to support good food. And so far between the cake and the supplement drinks I bought I received good quality items. Definitely will be back.

There is no place in earth like Hemplade. Black-owned, vegan, and insanely delicious.

I didn’t get pics because I destroyed EVERYTHING lol I got the Bernie Mac and Mushroom plate 🔥🔥🤌🏼 and the Philly Cheese steak. I am also thankful of all the comments because when I travel I use Google maps to find black owned businesses to support! Everything smacked. 100/10 would recommend. Will be back! Beautiful food and people. What’s not to love??? They even have some choice health items so you can buy some healing tinctures, body care and supplements locally too.

I was visiting from Queens, NYC for my daughter’s high school graduation for the first time. I’ve tried a lot of vegan spots in NYC, and Hemplade has the best shroom burger I’ve ever tasted. Dope presentation. Nicely seasoned fries and superb customer service. The Hemplade passionfruit tea was great as well. I’ll try the mangoe one next time. Thanks for everything. While visiting Tallahassee I went to HempLade Vegan Cafe and tried their Burnie Mac and mushrooms which was the best vegan mac and cheese I have had. It had sautéed mushrooms and onions on it that enhanced the flavors and a nice side salad with a home make salad dressing that was very good as well. I highly recommend HempLade as the quality of the food was superior.

Burnie Mac Fried Chick’n Burger, maybe I should've gotten something else... service was great, but this food. The only thing I liked was the chips on the side. Chicken texture is like a stale bread with minimal seasoning, mac n cheese was aight. $28 for a drink a sandwich...totally not worth it.

Lovely lunch had the Quinoa with a Mushroom patty and fresh spouted greens. Wide menu selection of made to order vegan fare as well as hand crafted teas. Delightful, friendly, and highly recommended.

I really really wanted to like this... im traveling thru found then on maps...I ordered shrimp over Mac n cheese.. there was about a 20min wait.. I get to the door and there's someone in there talking so I was basically asked to wait outside...keep on mind sun is beaming hot,..ok SOON AS I TASTED THE SHRIMP THEY WERE FRIED VERY HARD.. AND THE MAC AND CHEESE IS THE BOX DAIYA MAC N CHEESE I KNO THE TASTE AND TEXTURE...HATE IT... I ONLY ATE A COUPLE BITES BECAUSE IM HUNGRY AND TRAVELING.. $20 WASTED.. the sauce on top was good

Über awesome place with good vibes all around! I had their vegan cheese steak sandwich and fries (when we ordered, they were doing to-go only). I cannot stress how much this grub slayed (🔥🔥👨🏾‍🚒) and how solid it tasted even after bringing it home about 15 minutes away. This is easily one of the better veggiefolk places I've been to since Orlando. Next time, imma make sure to try the burnie Mac sandwich and get even more fries! Solid 5 malcolms out of 5

My wife and I just had the opportunity to experience some of their tasty dishes! They were delicious! The great thing for us is that they are within walking distance which allows us to get some exercise just in case we eat too much! We highly recommend you try their food! You will not be disappointed! Love to see a family making it happen together!

This place is a MUST try for Vegans. I got the Kushroom Burger (SO GOOD, I ate it gone before I thought to take a picture of it) and the Red Velvet Cake for dessert. My Wife got the Kushroom Pizza (easily the best vegan pizza I've ever had) and the pound Cake for dessert. The desserts were on point (can't stop eating til it's gone... Kind of on point), the Burger, Fries and Pizza was delicious. We tried all the vegan restaurants while visiting Tallahassee. This is by far the best. Highly Recommend!

Umm… the best vegan place to me in Tallahassee. Sweet Pea stands 2nd place. I am so sad they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays now but honestly I highly recommend this place for healthy, tasty and infused-foods if that’s your thing.

Food combinations have been around for generations. Burgers and fries, bread and butter, Mac and cheese. But what’s the best food combination known to man? Burgers and a joint. Hemplade Cafe is a hole-in-the-wall diner off of Old Bainbridge and Brevard. You’ll first notice it by its lovely outdoor patio and designated smoking area. Filled with plants and shade, it’s the perfect smoke spot with countless munchie satisfying meals. The meal that I ate was the Kushroom Burger and A Jay. You need to order on the phone before hand however, they also do deliveries. Me and my girlfriend chose to order on the phone and sit outside on the patio. After a short wait, we were ready to go inside and pick up our food. The staff was incredibly friendly and respectful, talking and making jokes. They even offered to cut our food in half for us to share without asking. We appreciated the love. Most people shy away from mushrooms, but the mushroom patty on this burger was incredible. It completely changed my girlfriends outlook on meatless meals. Overall everything was a 10, I could not have asked for a better meal and experience. Thank you Hemplade Cafe.

I’m from Miami and I was visiting this Tallahassee for a week. This place came up when I look for a good vegan local restaurant and wow it exceeded my expectations. Swear if I could give it 10 stars I would! the gorilla glue shake and the mushroom burger were off the chain!!!!! I will definitely be coming back when I visit again

Both my boyfriend and I had massive diarrhea as soon as we got home from eating here. We both got 2 different items, I had the mac and fried chicken sandwich, and he had the cheese steak with fries. We both had infused CBG, so idk if that is what was bad, but we don't think we'll come here again. It's a nice concept for a restaurant and we were hoping it would be amazing. Too bad.

I love this restaurant. Not only is the food great but the staff is really friendly as well. I quickly became a regular after going for the first time. Even if you're not vegan, I suggest giving them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I had the Bernie Mac burger with fries and it was sooooo good like it melted in my mouth with every bite🤤 so juicy and buttery but completely vegan. 12/10 would definitely recommend to all vegans in Tallahassee and anyone looking for a healthy plant based meal. I hope they open other locations soon!

Food is absolutely spectacular! I have had the Kushroom Burger previously and today I had the Florida Philly. Seriously... mind blowingly good! Spent some time chatting with the owner as well. He is a gracious and genuine soul. The food takes a little longer (because every dish is being made fresh). As I sat waiting, I wondered if it was worth it (as is the MO of my impatient personality). The answer... a resounding YES!!! So don't let the wait deter you. You will not regret it!

In my 5 years of plant based eating, this was by far the best vegan meal I've ever had. The Soul Food Power Bowl was incredible. 100 percent recommend!

OMG! The food is so delicious! I wish we would have taken a picture but my husband and I were too greedy to wait. The Florida Cheez Stayk Sub was honestly better than the original meaty one. The veggies-perfectly seasoned; the cheez-perfectly melted, and the bun was crispy and soft. The owner Yudah was so friendly and even took a minute to chat with us. Definitely will be back to try EVERYTHING on the menu! Vegan or not you must try the food!
