Amazing french bread!!!!!! Love this family

It's one of the greatest bakeries in Terry town. I go for the fresh baked bread. They have king cakes for the season and do other seasonal pastries. Very nice employees. However, sometimes you need to be patient it's not the employees but a customer trying something new or just a new customer. I spindle under 10 dollars every visit because I usually go twice a week.

Hi Do Bakery’s staff if the by far the best in the West Bank. They will always greet you with a friendly smile. It’s best to arrive early or croissants, cookies, scones, french bread, etc will be hard to find. I highly recommend Hi Do as the place to go in New Orleans West Bank for a delicious treat.

This is the spot I look forward to every time we come to New Orleans! The croissants are absolute perfection- crispy flaky outside with a soft pillowy inside. I would be drooling thinking about it if I hadn't just eaten my fill! I always love going to a business where the owners are hands on and involved, and Kim or one of her family members is always there to greet you and take your order! My favorites are the breakfast ham and cheese, bavarian cream with chocolate frosting, and the almond croissant! I have not found a better version of these items anywhere, and I have tried many times! To me this is the epitome of a mom and pop shop! Just be aware they are CASH ONLY, so be prepared! I promise you will be hooked!

Loved the king cake. It was soft, fresh, and not too sweet. The service was great. He was patient and answered my questions. It was my first visit, and I look forward to going again.

Owners are very nice and friendly and make you the freshest King Cake by placing the toppings on it while you wait.

I always find something extra tasty at Hi-Do. Bread, croissants, many different pastries. And of course fabulous King Cake in carnival season. The way they package them shows how thoughtful they are about even the smallest detail. They put the king cake in a box, then in a bag to keep it fresh. Don't need to drag the cake in & out of if a plastic bag getting dust sugar & mess everywhere. One of many reasons they're at the top of my list!

King Cakes season is around the corner. If you want these bad boys, make reservations because first come, first serve! In my opinion, I prefer these king cakes since these are moist, not too sweet, and the icing has that crunch that I love. I might secretly come back here for a second round.. Count your change before you leave. I paid with a $100, walked out with change for a $20. They informed me it is my responsibility and doesn’t matter if they check cameras or count the register. I wont go back. And it’s a shame bc the food is good.

Sometimes when food is consistently good at a establishment you forget your eating something special. Ive been coming here consistently for about 5 years and never thought to write a review until now. Only 1 time did I get a croissant that seemed like it should have been in the discount refrigerator. I love the croissants honey buns and oatmeal cookies. 😋 the 2 minor problems I have is its a cash only business and they close early at 2pm

It's such an amazing family owned bakery. The staff are the sweetest, and they also have THE best croissants on the Westbank hands down, no questions asked and the other pastries are just as good definitely recommend!

This bakery is very warm and elegant. The bakery items look very well put together it can be easily mistaken for display. The person behind the counter was very pleasant and gave me a history of the business, which was insightful. Overall, the items that I purchased were very fresh and delicious 😋 my daughter enjoyed the pastries and so did I. This business won yourself a new customer 🤗

The Ham/turkey croissants are really good. The turnovers, cookies and raisin bread are delicious too! They also make the best french bread. I have never been disappointed at Hi Do. Everyone there is really nice!

My reason for the three stars is because they don't accept debit or credit cards and many times I'm passing by and wanting to get a delicious croissant and I can't because I don't have cash. I just love their croissants I feel like they're the best I've ever had there so crispy and light and delicious and fresh and they have all kinds of flavors even ham and cheese plain as my favorite and they have other goodies that I've had one or two here in there but I mainly go for the croissants

Great bakery. Always fresh baked goods no matter what time of day. The King Cakes are a staple (especially if you don't want icing, just sugar). Always remember to bring cash!

King Cake season... They were busy at 9:00 AM. Line of six and ten when I left. Cash or check only! Got two chocolate-covered Bavarian cream filled and a small Bavarian cream king cake. They do offer Cool shapes of king cake.

Pastries really good had blueberries turn over fantastic. Just remember cash or local check

Delicious Crescent rolls. Our favorite was the apple cinnamon and the blueberry cream cheese. Very affordable and the staff was kind. No tables inside or out.
