I've spent more money here than I have anywhere else in my life, and that's saying something because their prices are LOW. 50 bucks and you have yourself a date night for two that'll cover an an appetizer, the best dinner you'll ever have, a decent tip, AND leave you with leftovers. They can take a while to bring the food as everything is made to order and they're often busy, but that's just more time to talk with your party and enjoy some free hot tea. Tons of vegetarian and vegan options, too! Do yourself a huge favor and try this place out. If you like Indian or Nepalese style food, this place has you covered.

The service and staff is good. I expected much more from the food from the reviews everywhere. Medium spicy food tasted kind of sweet. Momos were okay. Not a lot of garlic taste on garlic naan.

Service was excellent and the food was amazing.

Loved the vegetarian options. The soup, tea, Momos, Manchurian, tandoori garlic roti and paneer curry. All items were very tasty and felt super fresh. service was very good.. would love to try other Veg options soon .

***FOOD: everything was amazingly yummy. MOMOS - delicious and a must have NAAN - light fluffy and flavourful MANGO LASSI - tasty full of mango flavor very good TIKKA MASAL - so so good ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$ very reasonable ***DÉCOR: small place inside, basic. I guess the food is the main here. ***SERVICE: ok. The server didn't really understand or speak English very well. Have to wait for food so be prepared. Lots of parking in this strip mall location ***RECOMMEND: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Would definitely go back.

New halal Nepali place! The chili chicken momos are amazing and the seasoning is on point. Great food and great atmosphere. The staff is very nice and accommodating!

I came in on a Monday afternoon around 5:30pm and the chicken momos, garlic naan and Nepali chicken curry were absolutely delicious! Portion sizes were great and I loved the complimentary ginger tea and pappad, and the spice level of everything was perfect (I was asked which level I’d like it at, and I said mild); service was outstanding too, my water was never empty. Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

This place is amazing! From the service to the complementary hot tea, I have only great things to say about this restaurant. My favorite appetizers are the govi , steamed chicken momos, and the chicken chow chow soup. For entrees the chicken saag, chicken korma, and chicken chow mein are all hall of fame.

Went for the Fourth of July buffet. I had so much fun trying all the different foods. The varied greatly in the level of spicy, so there were options for everyone. Can’t wait to go back

Amazing place! Staff is always attentive and courteous, relaxing music is playing, and food is some of the best I have had.

The chow mein and Momo's were spot on! You get a complementary drink which is a lime ginger tea along with pappad. All of their items are made fresh and that shows! The Himalayan chai was very good too! I will keep going to this place! The price of the items were at an affordable rate. You have lots of vegetarian options.

Came from Austin Texas. Went to have dinner at North Carolina but didn’t meet the expectations. The food was totally not delicious.

This place is rediculiously good! No joke, I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. We had the Chicken Tiki Marsala and the Lamb Curry. If you don't like cilantro be sure to remember to ask for it not to be added, even with that it was so good I didn't care. The tea that comes with the meal is delicious. I can't speak highly enough if this place. We will be back.

Next time I'll eat in. Just happened to be in the neighborhood and walked in to check it out. When I smelled the cooking wafting out of the kitchen I knew I was going to order. Got 'to go' this time but dining area was busy and looked cozy. Very friendly service. Just be careful on heat scale. I ordered 4/7 and it was spicy hot!

Hidden gem in Cary. Butter chicken and chicken korma we're excellent. They provide a spice scale of 1-7 and we did the 4 which is just the right amount of spice/heat for us. Great service also and reasonably priced. We'll be back.

Best momo in the triangle, especially the chili fried veg

I was very impressed with this location for take out. From the phone to pick up, staff were friendly and efficient. What I got with my takeout was also a much better value compared to similar restaurants in the area (including a small thing of chutney and the crackers with my meal). They confirmed my order was what I wanted before check out and that everything was in the bag ready for me. I got the chicken korma mild which was creamy and a little sweet (a coconut flavor with nice mild curry flavor) and the garlic naan which is very nicely garlicky with chunky garlic. I loved the food and it was an excellent value. I would definitely recommend the take out and plan on going back to try some of their other curry options.

One of my favorite Nepalese restaurants in the triangle area, I have been visiting them for years and food continues to be of the best quality.

Amazingly flavorful, service was peak and the tea! I loved. Highly recommend the saag. Also they are accommodating to special needs and clearly place allergens on the menu

I came here to visit my sister and came upon this restaurant after recommendations. The food is amazing.

The momos reminded us of home... delicious! The chicken chowmein and Chilli chicken was quite good too. The welcome drink of hot lemon-ginger tea felt like the mountains.

Great food at a reasonable price and good service. The hot tea that is served with every meal is also delicious.

The food was delicious. I ordered the Goat Curry and I know what you’re thinking, but it was tender and so good. What I wasn’t expecting was the amount of bones on the dish. To be fair, the menu did warn me, so that’s on me. I went for the level 5 of 7 heat and it was very manageable. We also ordered the mixed pickles. Dang those were freakin’ lit. Much, much spicer than the level 5 spice I had orderer. Buyer beware! Overall, we’ll be back. The atmosphere was super casual and you can expect a good 30-40 wait after ordering. I strongly advise make reservations before you go.

The chicken momos were so good and the garlic naan was very crispy. What was even better than the food? Their house made drinks. The complimentary ginger tea and mango lassi were simply the best. FYI, it was super busy during weekends so be prepared to wait.

Met up with some friends on a quiet Wednesday night. Heard good things about this place and wasn't disappointed. Veggie and Chicken Momos to start, Goat Curry and Aloo Govi to finish. All of them were excellent and the waiter was spot-on with the spiciness recommendations. (3 out of 7, for some heat but not overwhelming) Would definitely go back and try other dishes. Ambience is nothing fancy, but you go for the food!

This was the first time for me and the second for my sister. The food did not disappoint. The Momos were delicious and my Chicken with Spinach Saag was outstanding. Just the right amount of spices. I live in Virginia, but will try to get by each time I am in town. My new favorite place!

My wife and I love eating here or getting takeout. We haven't been disappointed with anything off the menu yet. There is a warm, small restaurant atmosphere that feels relaxed. Great place to eat when you aren't in a hurry.

Our food was very good. I had the chicken Tikka Masala. Our service was also very good. But the time to get our food was very long. If you eat here plan for 1.5-2 hrs.

Excellent food, great service as well. Its a relatively small space, so had to wait a bit to be seated. They served their nepalese tea on the house, which was awesome. Food took a while to arrive, but it was hot & fresh. Every dish was flavorful. We got the nepali style fried potato appetizers & momos both of which were amazing,. Tandoori mixed grill was perfectly cooked & seasoned. Service was pleasant. Overall excellent food & service. Highly recommended!

We ordered the Chicken Biryani, Chili fried chicken momos Chow chow chicken soup Tandoori chicken And baigan bharta I like that they ask you how spicy you want it for all dishes. Feels super homemade. A 3/7 feels like a mild to medium and 5/7 felt decently spicy. Will def try to order 5 and 6 spicy next time. Great place with great prices!

I and my friend were craving for Indian style momos and we found it here in the Himalayan Nepali Cuisine restaurant. The place is extremely busy with a wait time of about 45 min in the evening. I will not say the food was worth the wait, but it did satisfy our momo cravings. They offered complimentary kava while customers were waiting which was soothing and refreshing. The vegetable momos need a little bit more spice and less turmeric. The vegetarian noodles were on the other hand a tad but mire spicy for a medium level spicy. The Himalayan tea was milk-based tea which I liked. Not so strong, neither very dull. Just right! A lot of white crowd was also there along with the Indians. The staff was very nice and the ambience gives a full Himalayan Nepali vibe. Do try!

The food and staff were amazing! We stopped in for dinner and were so pleased with the experience, can’t wait to go back and try more things! Picture is of the Lamb biryani and plain naan which were both excellent. Their free ginger tea served when you sit was delicious, a great touch to keep people coming back

Best part is that everything is prepared fresh on order. Always great food quality. Sip Ginger tea all through the meal :) Great place and highly recommended.

Came in for takeout, stayed to dine in. I had the lamb curry and it was really good, so was the mango lassi. The tea is THE BEST you get some when you die in, and very good service . I will come back

The atmosphere is good. But food here is so low quality. We ordered chicken thali, chicken biryani, and veg thali. The chicken was like fresh out of frozen and just thawed and cooked! I am sorry but no sorry, very nasty flavor of chicken. One of the worst chicken curry and chicken biryani I tasted around the town.Naan was thin and served less than quantity. Portion size was medium. Only thing i loved is the ginger tea and paapad. Donot recommend this Nepali restaurant.The owner really need to work on food quality and flavours.

Some of the best food we’ve ever had!

I’ve been to this place maybe 10 times. The service is always phenomenal and they are really great with newcomers who are unfamiliar with some menu items. In fact they will always let you adjust spice levels to your liking (using a 0 to 10 scale, I usually say 3 or 4). They always give you complimentary tea that is delicious and helps with digestion. My go to favorites are the chili momos, tandoori chicken, garlic naan, and Saag paneer. Depending on the time of day there might be a long wait, but if you are in the area you can also order take out. Love this place!!!

Attractive interior in a small strip mall and a friendly welcome. We had walked here and the owner/maitre’d even offered to give us a ride back home (we declined!) We ordered and shared the veggie samosas, and my spouse enjoyed his Nepali chili potatoes and his chili chicken while I sampled the tandoori chicken. You are asked your level of spice and even my tandoori chicken had a significant kick to it. We didn’t try the Nepali dumplings, momo, so will have to return. A most enjoyable meal!!

So gonna start this off by saying there's another Nepali restaurant in Cary with somewhat similar name and i meant to order from the other one instead of this one. With that being said i thought why not just try this place out? absolutely glad i did. I was immediately greeted at the door, offered Ginger tea, and the host was extremely polite. Food was as equally good as well, i got butter chicken, naan, and gobi manchurian. The gobi manchurian was fine, not the top of my list but still good, the chicken and naan however were incredible. Will be ordering from here again!

Great and authentic food with kind and prompt service. Some food took longer than others but that is only because it is made fresh to order, the cheap drinks and incredible flavors make it all well worth the wait! We cannot wait to return!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I had to give 3 stars because we waited in the parking lot 30 minutes for them to open. So, we were the first ones there. 3 stars.... IS BECAUSE IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO GET OUR FOOD. The food and staff were great. So, if you're not in a hurry, this is a good place for a delicious meal.

Great food and service. We need to find another location for this business and all others in this complex when Cary allows it to be flattened for more ugly apartments.

If you live anywhere in what is broadly considered “the triangle,” and you haven’t eaten here, what are you doing with your life? Make the best decision you’ll have made in years and get some food from Himalayan Nepali Cuisine. Nothing is bad, everything is amazing. Take out is just as good as in-person. Staff are warm, kind, attentive, and just all around nice folks. Get the complimentary ginger lemon honey tea while you wait — but be aware that it’s near boiling.

Been here twice and loved it both times. The food is super good and they have a solid selection of vegan options. Wait times can be pretty high sometimes so it might not be a bad idea to send out a scouting party in advance and put your name on the waiting list.

This place never fails to be one of the very best restaurant experiences I have had. I’ve been here many times and have made great memories with my family here. The food is some of the best in the triangle and the service is equally outstanding. 10/10!!

Unexpected 75 minute wait after ordering. The chicken saag was alright, Naan was pretty good. But looking over the other reviews it seems "made to order" means settle in and get comfortable. Be prepared.

The absolute best food ever, you have to come here! The dumplings, tandoori chicken, steamed momo, samosas, chicken biryani, everything is amazing! We make the hour drive here at least once a month because the food is so good. Service is very nice as well.

So many good choices in Cary / Morrisville for eastern cuisine but this place’s food is exceptional. Might be the best lamb vindaloo I’ve ever had and my wife said the same about her tikka masala. Great food, very reasonable prices and very friendly staff. All round winner, we’ll be back regularly!

The cold weather calls for some food from this restaurant. A big selling point is their complimentary hot welcome tea made of ginger, lemon and honey I believe. And crispy papad with pickled onions. They have a good offering of momos with some amazing chutneys. The selection of spice level offering is a cherry on the top. Do try their momos and chow mein at the restaurant. The zen like atmosphere adds to your dining experience. The only down side is the amount of oil in some of their dishes which I think is excessive and more than normal.

The food is good, but they are understaffed. We visited on a Tuesday for dinner. After waiting 15 minutes for a table, we waited about an hour for our food. We previously visited for lunch and the wait was not very long.

One of the best tasting Indian and Nepali cuisine. Momo’s (Veg, Chicken), Fried Rice (Veg, Chicken) and all Chicken curry dishes are amazing. To top it off the Peshawari Naan is the best for dessert. Always prompt ontime and friendly service for takeout.

The food was delicious and made fantastically. I had the cauliflower, chicken kadai, spice level of 3, with rice pudding. While there was a wait, its only because the food was divine.

Exceptional cuisine at a modest price, situated in a convenient locale. Should you seek vegetarian alternatives, a plethora awaits. Our choice was the highly recommended vegetarian chow chow soup—ideal for chilly evenings when the weather calls for such fare. Additionally, we indulged in butter naan, paneer tikka masala (reminiscent of paneer butter masala found in nearby establishments), and impeccably prepared and delectable chili paneer.

Food was good. Service could be a little better. Manager/owner seems to have a problem with us. His demeanor was passive aggressive. However he didn’t have same attitude towards fair skinned people.
