Kababish is THE BEST. I’ve been to several different Indian restaurants around the triangle but no one beats Kababish. You won’t regret going. The atmosphere is so fun, the people are the NICEST. The owners really care about their customers. Any time I’m in Cary and my husband asks what I want to eat it’s always Kababish! Make sure to go!

Hello, the food seemed like it was clearly from the microwave. The prices were different from the menu and online menu. The meals were double the prices for the same foods you would find in other authentic restaurants. Everything was overpriced and smaller in quantity and quality, disappointing experience overall and would not recommend.

Absolutely loved the food, would be visiting again for sure. Samreen was an amazing host and made it a lovely experience for us.

I went to this restaurant with my best friend on a Saturday, and the service was great. There is a diversity in religious culture there, shown through decorations, staff, and food. The food was great, and the staff was kind and genuine 👍🏻✝️ ☪️ 🕉

We ordered mixed veg korma and paneer kadhai and both were so tomatoey. Both the items were very sour because of that. The mixed veg Korma was more like large chunks of vegetables cooked in red pasta sauce. Just over all lack of finesse or understanding of flavor. Chicken 65 was ok. The packaging of the food was done well, but nothing else besides that.

We went there last night it was a disappointing experience the food was bland we ordered chicken Bihari kebab it was tasteless very bland, lamb seekh kebab didn’t taste fresh at all again bland and tasteless , fried fish was ok it was palatable . I don’t recommend this place . We also ordered Daal fry again no taste it was cold sweet I am surprised how someone can mess up a simple dish like daal.The service was sub par, and no one even bothered to ask how was the food

This is a good Indian/Mediterranean restaurant. There is good outside seating with a covered area. The inside has plenty of table. Tried the Greek salad, hummus, naan, lentil soup, onion fritters, and falafel. Falafel, hummus, and naan were excellent. May be the best falafel I have had. The warm naan was perfect for the hummus. First time trying Onion Pakora (onion fritters). They were ok. I felt like too much breading/mixture and not enough onion. Lentil soup (Daal Fry) and rice was ok. Salad was adequate as well. Portion sizes were great. Especially the appetizers. I thought each was above average portions. I’d probably try again. Wait staff was young and friendly!

Excellent food and service. Locally owned by a very nice couple. The food is very fresh and a good quality. Even our kids enjoyed it.

The highest compliment is watching a 7 year old dancing after dinner because the food was that good. Authentic regional food is impossible to describe well enough to do it justice. We ordered the Kababish Seafood Platter and my wife was taking pictures to send to her family in Thailand. We are foodies and give the Yousuf family and their restaurant 5 stars only because they will not let us give them 6.

This is the best Indian/South Asian food in the triangle. Everything is delicious. The Bullet naan and samosas are my favorite but the Biryani is out of this world. Come here for dinner!

Food is amazing, friendly staff

We had chicken haleeem and naan from here and it tasted soo bad 😞 very disappointed had this weird taste and naan was chewy and stretchy in the hard way the prices are very very high while the quality is very low and gross not recommend. I even had the platter some time ago and it was raw in the middle the rice were uncooked very bad experience needs tons of improvement since there are not many restaurants around that are halal.

My favorite place to eat with my family the food is very delicious and the stuff is genuinely very nice. Great place overall!

Had dinner here today. Got chef special kunna, veg briyani, malai chicken from the kids menu and some garlic naans...the food was in general good and tasty. The chef special kunna is the highlight. It tasted something between a stew and a paya..amazing taste.would come back for the kunna 😋

The best desi food I’ve had since I moved here from Ohio. The owners are a delightful couple who welcomed us even thought we walked in toward the tail end of the day. She recommended haleem and lamb kabab, and we got chicken tandoori with biryani. And to top it off, they had string lights and outdoor seating and are located right in downtown Cary.

The food was very disappointing. It doesn’t taste good and the menu is misleading. I ordered a dish that has lamp with nan and rice as it is in the menu and they bring only the lamp and nan! No rice as they said the rice doesn’t come with it anymore!! The service was not good. You have to wait too long to get your food served and longer to get the check even when the restaurant is not packed. Many boxes are all over the place not in the storage. Also, the tables were not very clean. Definitely not coming back. I hope the owner doesn’t take my comments personally

Very kind and welcoming environment. The gulab jaman remind me of my moms! We had nehari, tandoori chicken platter, the garden platter, and a salad.

I generally avoid Cary like the plague. There are so many excellent Indian and indian-fusion restaurants in Durham and Orange counties that I don't need to. But, dagum, now I'm gonna be a Cary regular! Boomer Warning: the menu is a QR code - get used to it. We had the Garden Platter to start, and Bagar-a-Baigan and Malai Kofta entrees. "Medium" spice. Every bit of it was wonderful. I could have used a tiny bit more heat, and they provided some minced peppers just in case, but overall the heat and the layers of flavor were exquisite. Just taking a bite and waiting a few seconds was epic, with waves of new flavors coming in and the gentle heat driving it home. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Sorry for no pics...we were distracted by the aromas and dove right in. But, the pics on the menu are perfect representations.

I’ve eaten at Kababish many times. I enjoy the great variety of menu options, and I’ve never been disappointed in any meal I’ve had.

We did a takeaway order of haleem, kebabs, and saag chicken. The best part is if you love spicy you can opt for Indian spicy and trust me you will not be disappointed. Their haleem was one of the best haleems I've had in NC, and we enjoyed the saag paneer with rotis

Kababish serves great food. Great presentation and the service is fabulous. We eaten there 6 times and they are very consistent with great quality.

I had a fantastic meal at Kababish Cafe in Cary recently. The food was absolutely amazing! I tried the chicken Tikka Masala, mango lassi, and Biryani, Tandoor Red Snapper and all of them were bursting with flavor. The chicken Tikka Masala was cooked perfectly - tender chicken in a rich and creamy sauce. The mango lassi was a refreshing and perfect accompaniment, and the Briyani was fragrant and flavorful. I couldn't decide which dish was my favorite, they were all so good! If you're looking for delicious Indian food in Cary, I highly recommend Kababish Cafe. You won't be disappointed!

The rating was reduced for long service, not tasty rice and not spicy food (although we asked for medium spicy)

Ordered the Tandoori platter and a curry goat with rice. I was really let down for the price I paid. $71 for some dry and bland chicken and rice good. They gave alot of food hence the 2 stars, but you’re better off saving your money folks.

The food was a disappointment as it tasted like it was bought from a grocery store and then microwave.(actually I even know the brand )It has been many years since I ate here and thought I would give them another chance to improve their cooking skills but that did not happen. Even my children who are 12 and 10 thought the food was horrible and they love eating desi food . And we ended up eating somewhere else ..and besides the owner keeps on bragging that he is a chef from another planet …will pass and take my business somewhere else!!!!!

This place was great. The naan was nice and fluffy and the food was great. The bathrooms are clean and the staff was friendly.

The food at Kababish is always amazing. The family that runs the place is generous with their time and welcome every guest. The Butter Chicken is the best I have ever had.

I came here a few times and I was impressed but this time I can't say the same. I spent $21 plus tax on Lamb Biryani and it was not good at all. I didn't taste any spices it was wet and watery. I am not sure what happened but this was not a good experience. I am not sure if they have the same cooks but I was highly disappointed. I honestly have to say it was my first experience here of it not tasting good. I hope if I should return I don't have this experience again. I am writing this review not to condemn them but to inform them. Sometimes the owners need to know that there cooks are not doing a good job.

Up charged everything, did not pay according to menus prices. Service was bad ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEY CHARGED US $600 for something that was 200 The food tasted as if it was frozen and then heated up

I visited this Pakistani restaurant with some friends and had a mixed experience. The ambiance was okay, but the food was quite bland and lacked salt and spices. The kabab sampler was a disappointment, as the chicken seekh was dry and flavorless, and the turmeric overpowered the other flavors. The garden sampler was also a letdown, with onion pakora that was mostly besan and lacked spice. However, the samosa, hummus, and chaat were decent. In the main course the mix veg khadai had too much tomato and big chunks of carrot, and the sag paneer and yellow daal were both underseasoned. The bread items were a highlight, with garlic naan, roti, kheema naan, and plain naan all being enjoyable. The tea was also good. The service and staff were friendly and attentive, but overall, I was disappointed with the food. Maybe we should have asked for more spice, but I've had better Indian food in the area at other restaurants.

I had a most delicious late dinner at Kababish on Thursday night. I had the garden platter with a strawberry salad, then Falooda for dessert. 🥰 The staff are so friendly and the food is so magnificent, I splurged and got dessert! So glad we have this very special culinary delight in Cary!

I have never had something from here that I did not love. Butter chicken is one of my all time favorites and this dish is always on point! I appreciate great, family owned business and this place is #1. A must try for authentic Indian cuisine.

Ordered Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) with rice and Naan. While flavorful, the chicken was surprisingly dry internally while inside a bowl full of sauce. 😆🤷‍♂️ I guess I just prefer the use of chicken thighs here instead of breasts, but otherwise totally delicious! Definitely looking forward to trying other things here!

I had bad experience last night I went last night to this place I didn't like it 😞 at all the place was too small it had live music was too noisy the meat seems like old I don't want to go there again I want to spend my money on fresh food my friend and I wanted to talk but we couldn't hear each other because the music was so loud.

This place has one of the best South Asian food in the triangle area. Look out for their BBQ. Their kebabs are delicious and so tender! Other highly recommended items on the menu are Haleem and Nihari. For dessert, definitely try the Falooda.

Quality food. Everything was delicious and fresh. The restaurant was clean. The staff were very nice. I had made a reservation and had to push back the time and didn’t arrive on time and they were very understanding. Kid friendly place. Highly recommend.

Walked in, wasn’t greeted. I believe it was the owners’s kid. Anyways, sat down and ordered a chicken curry. The worst curry I have ever eaten. The chef couldn’t have been in a hurry because the restaurant was empty. Tomatoes were raw. The food is VERY Americanized. If you are looking for authentic Pakistani Indian cuisine, look elsewhere. But if you are in the market for some white washed tasteless curries, this is your place.

Family owned serving authentic Pakistani and Indian food. Always delicious. We’ve been coming here for over six years. Quality then, quality now. We keep coming back for a reason.

Good appetizers and bread. I got the apricot chicken wrap. I couldn’t finish it, it was drowned in Mayo which wasn’t listed on the menu, and very little chicken. If probably try again but I wouldn’t get the wraps.

We are an avid Pakistani cuisine lover and this place was a perfect addition to our food venture. We ordered haleem and paya, they were delicious and perfectly cooked. Naan were soft and well made. Food is expensive though and could’ve come in a better bowl size when you spent ~$20 per such item.

I am beyond late leaving a review but it’s best to be late than never!!! I visit this spot roughly around a little over a month ago with my parents. I must say I was very impressed with the food!!! The owners are awesome and soooooooo sweet and the staff spirits are just so welcoming. Please if you haven’t please try this spot and I promise you will not be disappointed. I cannot remember the name of dish I tried but it was a variety of things. I know that Lamb was Delicioussssss . Everything was professional.

This place is a hidden treasure in Cary downtown. I was crossing Cary at dinner time and decided to visit this place. I am so glad i stopped here. Ample sitting outside and inside. The vibe of this place is amazing, very artistically decorated. The feel of this place is very romantic, calm and serene. Lots of options to choose from, Menu is not just limited to kabobs and biryani's but lots of interesting wrap options too. Food is so so flavorful and DELICIOUS! Can't wait to go back.

I googled the halal place and found the only opened restaurant at 8:15pm. So, I called the restaurant and the lady picked my call. I placed the order for pickup. As this is my first time in NC, I was unable to find the location and I called again. The lady is so welcoming, she guided me the location. Cherry on the top, the food was awesome.

I ordered the regular biryani, bihari wrap, papdi chaat, chicken 95 and nihari. We ended up not even eating because the food was not to taste. The biryani tasted like pulao(brown rice).Also, the malai boti was no good.Paid more than a $100 that I completely understand with the current inflation but this was way below quality food served to us. Only the samosas were good. The nihari was so uncooked that it was difficult to even break it. I had to pack the food in the to go boxes because we did not ate much after tasting the food and decided not to throw it away. Do not order the wrap it is not tasteful but bland. I may recommend the samosas and chicken 95 other than that nothing was good.

Best chicken tikka masala I’ve had in awhile! Great atmosphere, quick service. I love that it’s not overly crowded and you can sit and visit with friends without excess background noise. Overall a pleasant restaurant. Will continue to come back.

It took me a while to find it. The decoration was great, music was great. But the server was kind of straight-faced. I asked for his recommendation and ordered something, but i don’t think i will go back for the food.

STAY AWAY FROM THE FISH ITEMS. I’ve ordered their seafood platter. It is the worst meal ever. every bite was nausea inducing . I think it’s under cooked or the fish has gone bad. Thankfully their naans are decent and the chaat, chicken karahi are passable. Honestly, I wish I had more choices for Indian food in this area. They couldn’t even get the rice and mint chutney done correctly .Their service and food are absolutely underwhelming. I’m going to avoid this place.

Lamp biriyani is a must try. Meat is tender and juicy. Good level of spices and flavor. My go to place for lamp and chicken biriyani

I frequently come to Kababish for their amazing Biryani and Lamb Korma. I wanted to try something new off the menu and ordered Chicken Tikka Masala takeout. I was really disappointed with the dull flavours of the sauce and the rubbery, overcooked chicken. They always hit the spot but this dish was definitely a miss and not worth the $20.

Delectable food at an affordable price!

Food was excellent and above average for Indian food (and/or similar) that I’ve had locally or elsewhere. For appetizer, I had the Chaat Papdi with Samosa appetizer. Wish it was served warm but was still excellent slightly chilled. For entree, i had the Karahi with Chicken. Would definitely get both again, though am excited to try other dishes next time. Service was a mixed bag. Overall the staff were nice and attentive, though our waiter needed some reminding and messed up a few items (but corrected them no problem when brought to his attention). Still, i was surprised since they weren’t very busy at all. Loved the visual aesthetics inside as well. Another plus is they let you bring your own alcohol if you want. I would definitely recommend this place and go again. Quality of food is worth the cost and you can tell they take pride in it. Just hope for more experienced wait staff next time. Enjoy!

Drove 65 miles to pickup the food I ordered and then 65 miles back to home but it wasn’t worth it… Food was very very bland almost no taste at all, biryani was totally made from pre mix spices that are usually available in local desi markets and used by people who don’t know how to cook also, the sauces that came with the food was gone bad more like expired so we had to throw them away… Chicken tikka was served with white rice which doesn’t make sense… I paid $120 for 5 plates with little amount of food which was expensive. If you are looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine then Kababish cafe is not the place.

Phenomenal authentic Pakistani food. Place is super cute too and clean. Excellent service as well. The Bihari, Kurma and Karahi are excellent.
