Too much sauce on the rolls I ordered.

The food is very good, but it's a counter service restaurant trying to disguise itself as a sit-down restaurant. It took 15 minutes to even get drinks and an hour after ordering to get our food, all the while takeout orders are flying out of the kitchen. Half of our meals were served in takeout containers, water was served in plastic bottles, and the server came over only to take the order and deliver the food. Stick to takeout or go somewhere else.

Killer sushi and great vegan options! Some of the best sushi (and best food in general) in the area. If they had tofu skin rolls and mushroom rolls I'd never go back to Sushi Palace!

Best sushi in NJ! I go there almost every week and I am obsessed. I have been going there for a year and I always try new sushi and rolls. Never disappointed, everything is delicious, fresh and very tasty! The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

Without a doubt, some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Even my husband who is typically so-so about sushi thoroughly enjoyed it. The other local sushi restaurants don’t even compare to this one. I just had dinner there and can’t wait to get takeout this week!

Cute, good vibes inside the restaurant. We got take out, and got quick service. Best part is the Sushi was so good! So happy to have a good quality sushi place in the neighborhood, will be coming back!

What a great place with fresh sushi (the kind you want to have!) Their special rolls are awesome! I tend to over eat when I am here since it is so good. They have lunch specials which makes dining a little less expensive.

We have only ever ordered on DoorDash, but when DoorDash messed up our order and it was never delivered they were so helpful so we vowed to only come in person- we’ve been missing out! Food is EVEN better dine in, service is quick and friendly! My husband loves the sushi and I like the hibachi meals. So glad we found them💕

I was a little hesitant to order food because of some of the negative reviews a year ago. I took a chance and had it delivered by Uber Eats.The sushi was outstanding. I ordered the salmon skin roll, salmon spicy roll, and and a veggie roll. Will order again!

All the sushi rolls I ordered were delicious! The miso soup as well. Husband ordered the gyoza app which was very good and chicken hibachi. It was good not great. Chicken was a bit dry. I will definitely be ordering the sushi rolls again!

Absolutely delicious food. It was clean, bright and well kept. Much nicer than other local sushi places. The quality was top notch and the waiter was attentive but not overbearing. Went with a party of 6 and everyone was raving about their dishes. The eggplant appetizer was next level. Two vegans, one vegetarian and one gluten free person in the group had no problems ordering and enjoying their food.

Kind and friendly staff with great food. Very child friendly and considerate. No complaints!

This place was just okay to me. The food was okay, the service could have been better. I felt our server could have been more attentive. There were only two other tables with diners when we arrived and only us by the time we were done and we had to flag down our server after waiting for the check. Not a deal breaker, but I wish he was more attentive.

Loved it so much wr ordered sushi as an apple for a dinner party. All of the quests were sushi fans and they raved about it!

This place is a wonderful gem of delicious Sushi. The place was immaculate, the service absolutely could not have been better.

Staff is nice, place is very clean, and the quality of food is good as long as you don't expect an authentic Japanese meals. Chirashi was not what Chirashi should have been. Teriyaki chicken was a typical American Japanese meal. And, being served dinner in to-go plastic trays was not my idea of quality dinner for any type of restaurant.

This place was great. The food was fresh, flavorful, and was exactly what I was looking for. Sushi and sashimi are basically made to order. Everything was done right. It was priced really well for the amount you get. The service was quick and informative. The atmosphere is very laid back. If you're looking to bring a date, or a long time partner you can't go wrong. I meant to take pictures but I literally ate all the food before having dessert (which you always should.)

I 10/10 RECOMMEND!!! Went here with my girls after a long hard day of classes and the environment was so welcoming. The outside does not do it justice because this place was awesome. The waiters were so kind and patient. We ordered hot green tea, miso soup, dragon rolls, salmon roll, rainbow roll, spicy crab roll, and the salmon hand roll. Only thing I will say is to order the regular ice cream instead of the mochi. I will definitely be back!

Great lunch specials, amazing kani salad! Very light and calm feel to the establishment. They accommodated my toddler by cutting his roll into extra pieces, making the pieces smaller. Highly recommend!

Finally a really good sushi place in Hillsborough that is wallet friendly too. The menu is extensive, the place is located in the most unlikely of places, so to speak, away from usual shops and such. The inside of the place is very simplistic but clean and inviting. Service is great and courteous. The place is primarily made for takeout and the reason for taking a star off is that for dine-in, I had to buy a bottle of water instead of a glass of water you would expect if you are dining in. What is this? Europe? The quality of the fish in the sushi was really good, non smelly, melt in your mouth. The cooked food was a bit more salty than I like and the server had warned us, to his credit. I will stay with the Sushi.

Wow. Just wow. I discovered this wonderful Japanese restaurant on my way back from a long trip. Came here with a party of 13 and ordered a lot of food. However, the chef still managed to keep their fast pace and the food came out really quick. The half-cooked salmon and tuna were amazing. The salmon was fresh, and the bit of sauce the chef added just had a good kick in taste. The raw salmon. No comment needed. Good thickness on each cut,. The restaurant ain’t cheap with their cuts. Since the ingredients are fresh, there’s nothing much you really need. But I do appreciate the size of each cut. White fish and sweet shrimps. Fresh. The basic eel sushi is bomb. The good amount of rice matches the right amount of eel for that good taste. The pan seared scallions, wow. Good little crunch on the outside. Warm and soft on the inside. Shrimp mango salad. Sometimes I wonder how the hell a chef can pick up a sweet and fresh mango. Lastly, the chef was so kind and asked if we wanted anything else. My picky girlfriend deadass asked the chef to surprise us.. and of course it didn’t disappoint! The last dish with the pink wrap and the avocado eel roll was amazing. The chef was so thoughtful. The plate itself was iced , so when the sushi was placed on the plate and brought to us, it just tasted somewhat extra fresh. Over all, it is such a pleasure to dine in this restaurant. Will def come back to visit when I’m in the area or pass by this area. And I do highly recommend this restaurant to the locals around the area ! Alright. Peace !

We have ordered to-go from here several times. The quality of the food & the service, has not disappointed. The staff is very kind, the food is definitely great quality & fresh. They have great combo selections on their menu & lots of sushi rolls to choose from. We have been getting meals from here several times & will continue to support this new sushi spot in town! 👍🏼

Brand new place located on the border of Hillsborough and Manville. Bright and clean, extremely friendly staff. We loved it so much we went twice in 1 week! Fresh and delicious sushi and the lunch box option is a great deal and super filling. We will be back many times!
