Driving through Hamburg NJ and saw a bakery on the way and had to pull over and went in for a breakfast sandwiche and a jelly donut couldn't resist and very good, but that's just the tip of the ice burg this place has been around since the 50's and very well known by the locals and beyond. Give them a try if you're in the area.

I just bought two onion rolls. They were good but they were $1.75 each, which is very expensive. You can find similar rolls almost anywhere for around $1.

Best purveyor of Dutch baked goods in the North East.

Croisnuts… (is that how you spell it?) these are good!!! My sister-in-law first introduced us to these wonderful delights a month ago, and these are addicting. The glazed croisnuts are awesome. Super soft and perfect amount of sweetness. Actually all of their desserts are good. The jelly filled, eclairs, almond tart. Could eat these all day!!! They have Gluten Free options as well.

I'm not of Dutch descent so maybe this place would rate higher if I was feeling nostalgia for bakery items from Holland? I'm not sure how this place has stayed in busines so long? Everything is just ok. Not bad, not great either. Just sort of uninspired but there. The employees are friendly and welcoming, but even the interior is just sort of.....ehhh... there and bland. There Dutch Apple pie, you'd think would be there stand out, but honestly it's just sort of, ok too. It's not dirty inside but it does look dated and very much it's age. They are located in sussex County, farm country, surrounded by fresh produce and apple orchards so you would expect some stand out items with so much bounty to choose from but, no. I told my wife I was going to review this place and give it 3 stars, so she asked to try a cookie and a piece of apple pie. She tried them both and looks at me and says their not bad?! So I say back, but is it great? Would you go back? Would you go out of your way to go there? Would you tell friends they should drop by? All I got was a blank stare and then she repeated, but there not bad. Sorry, but that's the best I got, there not bad.

I was at a BBQ this weekend and someone brought cupcakes from them. Omg the BEST! Soo moist delicious. Will be going to order some for an event

First time stoped by yesterday wife and I and wow will be lot more times to stop by. Store is full of sweet treats something for everyone and you are welcome with smile from those behind the sales counter. Strongly sugest everyone stop by and get some fresh baked treats as same are just to good to not try ! This is small snack I got there will be more to go 🥂😊

I have been a customer for 25 years and when the parents retired I saw a steady decline first a gevulde koek has almond paste in the center second don't sell stale food take pride you are dutch like me I went to the school for banketbakkers in amsterdam and I don't think selling cupcakes will make your parents proud

So I didn't actually come to the store. A contractor bought some croissants and brought them in for us. First time ever having them. OMG, they were so delicious. I would definitely drive up there for these. I had the chocolate covered croissant.

The cake and filling tasted awful. The frosting was way to sweet, and the inside cake and filling tasted terrible it was a disastrous combination. I would never order a cake from them again nor would I recommend it.

I ordered a chocolate + whipped cream birthday cake for my husband's 40th, and it was beautiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. We had a coffee cake the next morning, and it was divine. Thank you!

Apple turnover (fried) was really good. Whip cream horn was not very good. It just didn't have any sweetness to it. And the coffee cake was soso. Ladies were so sweet and welcoming..

Best bakery around. We have to stop by whenever we are in the area. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The people are also amazing!

Grew up with this bakery 30+ years ago. Mom got cupcakes for the class from here for every kid's birthday. Always delicious. Can't find another bakery to compare, honestly.

What can I say fresh, homemade breakfast sandwiches, Fresh homemade Bakery Goods, and the best pumpkin bread I've ever had Unfortunately they do it only seasonally.

Been going here for years, never disappointed with the baked goods or service; always greeted with a smile. During Lent they have a food truck serving fish, along with a Bible verse, every Friday until Easter. My wife and I look forward to it every year and it's always delicious and priced very reasonable. 🙏

Very good European cookies, their doughnuts and croissants are great. Never had any of their cakes, but like everything else I'm sure they're good.

Amazing Bakery. They have a lot of unique options and a really good variety of pastries and cookies. I really enjoy the almond paste cookies and the cinnamon sugar cronuts are perfect! Highly recommend a stop at this unique bakery. Everyone is so friendly and everything they make is absolutely delicious.

Been coming here for years and I will advise that you don’t leave this establishment without a dozen cronuts. Maple is my favorite, with glazed a close second—but you can’t go wrong with either. I’m Italian, so I’m partial to Italian pastries. The pastries here are ok, but the star attraction are the cronuts. You can’t eat just one, so do yourself a favor and get at least a dozen. You’ll thank me later!

This bakery is by far the biggest reason to go to this town. The pastries are some of the finest I have ever had. Their cronots are a dream - I wish I had more already. Their donuts are so good, and everything is appropriately portioned. Highly recommend this bakery and their helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly staff.

What happened to the prices? Sure all has gone up all over but $2.50 for a small buttered roll? How about $1.40 for a Bismarck donut the size of a half dollar coin

Their "cronut" is a glazed croissant, Delicious, but not a cronut. Coffee was watery for my taste but overall yummy baked goods 👌

Hands down the absolute best bakery around here ! We have a house in Milford and come here for baked goods . This place reminds me of the great bakery’s that I knew growing up in the city and there are very few of these bakeries left . This place seems like everything we try is great and this year we are getting my birthday cake here also ! Even when we are heading home back down to the city we have to stop here and get some stuff for home . Love the cookies eclairs and the cronuts are amazing especially maple and glazed , HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Neighborhood Gem! Old world Dutch bakery. Items made daily onsite. So many delicious items to choose from. They even have breakfast sandwiches made with their own baked bread. Oh yeah… and .25 cent coffee.
