Ok to start this is a food truck, but keep reading & don't let that throw you! I love mid-eastern food & eat it as often as I can find. However most places are Americanized & don't have this kind of true flavor. THIS place is legit! The truck is run by the Owner, Mack & he will tell you how important this biz is to him, so he makes sure everyone is satisfied & quality of his food stays high. He's been cooking for 35 yrs & he is an absolute joy to talk with! Immediately upon walking up he gave me samples of the Falafels, Hummus & Tzatziki sauce - everything is F.R.E.S.H. made in house & the flavor is so full. He made me a HUGE sandwich (& even teased if it wasn't enuf he'd make me a 2nd) the portion was plenty but welp, sorry Mack I was hungry & it was SOoooo good I ate every bite! 🙈 lol The tomato salad he adds to the sandwich was so fresh & parsley a perfect paring. Flaffals were crispy & tahini sauce like no other! For those GF guests he assured me both the Gyro bread & meat are both gluten free. Never seen that anywhere else. I will be back for sure & you won't be disappointed stopping here. Only "negative" would be only 1 table outside to sit. But Concord Park isn't far away & I took it for a picnic.

The BEST Mediterranean/Lebanese food in Knoxville. Owner was very nice and friendly and the food was beyond amazing. We had the Falefels, Gyro, and Chicken Shwarma salad and it was so flavorful. We will be back for sure.

We were driving from one state to other, during our travel we decided to eat some Arabic food, look on Google and found this place, we thought it was a restaurant, but once we arrived it was a trailer, we were ok with that, we have eat on food trucks before with no regrets, but surprise neon light says it was open, but no body there, they just leave the food truck there unattended and an really small note that said if you need service call this number, we called, due maybe the person was at restroom at the gas station next to the trailer, someone answer the phone and said m, I will be there in 5 minutes, we wait and we’re not 5 minutes, we got tired to wait and leave the place

Amazing food. The spicy shish tawook is really good!

The food is sooo good Mashallah. It’s hard to find Kibbe in town and it was delicious. The hummus was smoothie and creamy. The rice is fragrant. The vegetables were fresh. The garlic sauce, toom, was fluffy and perfect. My sister got the shish tawook and I will be getting that next time because the chicken was so tender and juicy. Don’t miss this spot in Knoxville!

Don't let the fact that this is a humble food truck dissuade you from stopping by. The owner displays his 100 rating food inspection certificate at the register so you can be sure that he cares as much about cleanliness as he does about his food. I've ordered the gyro sandwich and gyro platter a few times and they are just delicious. The meat is flavorful and tender and accompanied by a tangy tzatziki sauce and the fattoush salad. The prices might look a bit high for a food truck but they use high quality halal meat and the price is worth it for what might be one of the best gyros you've ever had.

Super Delicious Mediterranean food truck, house of shawarma.

Delicious Mediterranean Food. We had the Gyro Salad, Chicken Salad, Chicken Shawarma, fries, and Baklava. This was the most savory and best seasoned meats we have had here in Knoxville. Prices were reasonable, this is our new favorite go-to place for Mediterranean food.

I had to stop by and try the chicken shawarma. The shawarma was awesome but meeting Mack was what will have me coming back. He is a great guy and I enjoyed meeting him. I highly recommend this place and will be trying the humus plate next!

The ‘House of Shwarma’ Isn’t really a house, not even a building. But never the less, great food, great service. The gas station offers a lovely selection of beverages to go with your order. Do not plan to dine in.😂 Never the less, the food is good, and the chef is authentic. We came from Dearborn, Michigan; and we dined there most-of-everyday.

Owner is extremely nice and an amazing chef. The tzatziki is the best I've ever had. Portions are very good and everything is made fresh so be patient or call ahead. I will be back...alot!

Went there to pick up my order and this was at probably about 5:30 p.m. on Friday the 13th 2023. The gentleman that was doing the cooking and everything was not friendly at all didn't even say thank you after I even said Thank you to him just not very friendly.

Me and my girlfriend went here today just to try it out, it was absolutely some of the best food i’ve ever eaten in my life. The owner was so kind and offered me several free tastings and just talked to us for a while while he was cooking. He is honestly one of the most sincere people i’ve ever met and he deserved all of the attention his food truck can get. I absolutely recommend eating here and I know we will be back for more.

Randomly stopped to try this today and it was absolutely delicious. It was so good that we decided to go back and try some other stuff after we finished what we first got. The owner was very kind. We will definitely be visiting again!

I ate at their food truck (at the gas station across from Lotts elementary school on Westland Drive) and the falafel sandwich was delicious and filling. They even made me fresh falafel, which was so worth the wait.

Food is absolutely delicious. Since I moved to Tennessee, I have not found any Arabic food that was as good as the place near where I'm from. This food tho.. It's AMAZING. The tahini sauce is obviously homemade.. And done right! I could drink it! 🤤 Definitely the best tahini sauce in Knoxville! Best Arabic food in Knoxville! I could eat their Chicken Shawarma plate everyday easily! Baklava is also amazing. 1 is missing out of the photo cause I couldn't open the box and not eat one. 🤤😅 Overall, 10/10 recommend. ❤ I can't help but order from this place at least once every weekend on my cheat eat out days. You won't regret trying! 😁

I’ve had a lot of gyro salads in my life, but House of Shawarma just made me the best one I’ve ever had. Definitely give it a try. This restaurant will be in heavy rotation for dinner! Yum.

Food was great the Gyro was amazing as was the Chicken Shawarma sandwich.

The most delicious meal! Had to come back for seconds the next night. Our personal favorite was the Shish Tawook, which will promise you deliciously marinated moist chicken that will leave your mouth watering at first smell. Enjoyed a variety of sides with the falafel and tahini, stuffed grape leaves, and fries! 5 stars! Will be back if ever in this city again.

Divine meal! Chicken is very good, and gyro sandwich was worth trying again!

Our stop was totally on impulse. And boy am I glad we did. While it may be a small place, the flavor is large. Falafel was crispy on the outside and delightfully delicious on the inside, without that doughy texture that some falafel have. Shish tawook was tender and absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. We will be back.
