Hungry Howie's has ruined other pizza places for me. Reason being, their pizza is delicious! Doesn't taste cheap whatsoever, you get the quality you pay for and it is absolutely worth it. Sometimes it can take them a long time to get you your order, but it's mostly because they have a high volume of customers. Worth the wait.

This is a takeout window at a Sunoco gas station. I ordered my pizza online and “pre-paid”with a credit card. My payment INCLUDED the cost of the pizza, plus a TIP.. When I arrived at the store, the gentleman at the window handed me a clipboard with papers, receipts, and a pen. It seemed kind of odd to me because I had already paid online. Which I think is the point of online payment, right? When I looked at the receipt on the clipboard, it showed my pre-paid payment for the pizza as well as the tip that I had previously paid for online. The only items left, were an ADDITIONAL line for ANOTHER TIP, and a total. I should have just handed him back the clipboard and said “I’ve already paid.” But instead, I foolishly placed a zero on the ADDITIONAL TIP line and wrote in the same total I had previously prepaid by credit card. And then signed. I now officially felt “guilty” for not providing a second tip..!! Obviously, the only reason for this, was for me to pay a tip on top of my previous tip. I then asked if they had any packaged red pepper, and he angrily said they were out, and had no pepper or parmesan cheese. He then said something about waiting on their truck for delivery. I guess maybe if you pay the additional tip, you have a reasonable chance of getting a package of red pepper with your pizza. So, I guess we’ve reached a point where they want a tip before they give you service, and AFTER they give you service. *** I see the owner has responded to my review but conveniently avoided an explanation of WHY they are asking for a SECOND TIP when you arrive to pickup your pizza. Until then, I would recommend to those who are reading this to avoid tipping online and then consider if a tip is appropriate at the window.

Consistently hot, fresh, and on time with a smile. Never had a good experience with Hungry Howie's until I moved to Mims. Doing something right for sure-

Get you damn menu current. I ordered pie special and howdy bread and 2 liter soda. 15.00 on line, 17 and change when I arrived to pick up. Old lady at window like talking to a stone about it, she let me walk away, that's ok.

Drive up after ordering looked in was very dirty...didn't eat the food after seeing it. Not recommended

I ordered an extra large pizza with extra pizza sauce and extra cheese. It was hard to tell if there was any sauce on it let alone extra. Also, didn’t seem like any extra cheese either. Won’t be going there again after paying over $35 for a dry pizza.

I've always loved Hungry Howie's however most recent experience in Mims was horrible. The quality of the pizza was not good at all. The amount of cheese made the pizza difficult to eat plus it was a floppy mess. Very dissatisfied, the prices have gone up and quality has gone down.

The orders are always ready in the time they design, they are very punctual

Surprised! We were driving from Orlando airport to Daytona and found this place. Great food!! Will be back.

The selections here are great, we come here every winter, and the food is amazing!! Have never been disappointed with Hungry Howies!! Had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub. It was the BOMB!!! Just wish there was one in Iowa!!!

It was an interesting experience. Good experience. First time I have ordered pizza from a window. Excellent service and great quality. They use fresh tomatoes and veggies from a farmers market down the street. *** UPDATE*** I have been back quite a few times since my first visit. I am loving it! They have made every order perfectly and we are always greeted with a smile. Great service.

I usually get the best pizzas here. A few if the staff has been there for years which makes it nice to see a familiar face .

Only good if your starving. Food quality is poor and soaked in grease.

This is the second time we have ordered from hungry Howie's. I wasn't sure if the first time was just cause we were starving... but we thought highly of the quality of food last time we ordered. And already disowned dominos for the prices after finding out how reasonable the prices are at hungry Howie's. But this time, we were even more impressed. The Mac n cheese and bread was the best Mac n cheese we've ever had.... this time we tried the thin crust, and it was incredible with the ranch seasoning. Just saying, if you haven't tried these guys out yet, they will not disappoint.

Best Hungry Howies ever. Pepperoni Pizza 16" ~$20 I don't think there's vegans in Mims, aside from cows, but cows don't eat pizza. If you are vegan you should move. GEarth tries to make you drive through The Hood to get there, but they are doing this more and more often with places- I guess GEarth supports F3nt and M3th.

Take out and delivery only.. pizza and su s are the best.. the flavored crust is unique and makes this some of the best pizza around. Prices are good too.

We eat this monthly due to trying cut back on calories. HH is one of our favorite places to eat.

The delivery was fast, driver was very friendly and made sure we were careful as the food was very hot! It was perfect! Food is incredible!! Very easy to order on the app as well!

Flavor was good, service (delivery) was great. We ordered 3 subs and all of them were undercooked. My husband actually prefers underdone, but it was too much for him. Also, the subsets were in a condiment cup. At other locations, you get more. I reheated my sub the next day in the oven and it was great.

My food was sooo saturated with butter, the paper lining and box was saturated. I call and manager says I'm sorry next time you ask for no or light butter. Not only was my sub like this the Howie bread, cinnamon bread as well. I can't believe I got no compisation of nothing. Not even I'll remake your food. These pictures do no justice. $45.00 just wasted.

Today 3/11/23 I had a pizza and a salad delivered to my house. My name is Jodi nixon I ordered a buffalo chicken thin crust pizza and a ceaser salad. My pizza was EXTREMELY cold as if it was made an hour before it got here and it ONLY had onion chicken and cheese no buffalo sauce at all. Then the ceaser salad was lettece mozzarella cheese and chicken, which is not a ceacer a ceaser has parm cheese not mozzarella. I have always loved your food but this will probably impact me never to eat your food again, I'm disgusted,

This was my 1st time ordering here. Super fast delivery! I ordered at 4:55 and it was delivered by 5:07! Pizza was fresh, hot & delicious!! (I got the bbq chicken pizza)

Howie classics served up fast, hot, and delicious as usual. This location does not have dine in and you order and pick up at a window, just FYI.

Ordered 2 pizzas and hungry howies bread...$39 for dried out food. The bottom of pizzas in the box were sitting in a puddle of butter??Hardly any sauce on pizza, onions and peppers were the size of a nickel hard and not cooked. Bread was thin and hard, couldn't chew it. Definitely won't be back.

Charge me $33 for burnt nasty food I ordered two pizzas both were burnt I have tried several times for asking for a refund with no response no return phone calls I even called their corporate office do not go to this hungry Howie's it's awful

They make the best subs and cinnamon bread EVER!!!! they know us by name and r always happy to see us, which is nice.

I didnt go in, as they have a walk-up window to order and pickup, so Im not sure about atmosphere but the food is excellent for the price.

No bad experiences. Good food, usually on time, and accurate. Never get a pic of the food because it's usually mostly gone before I try to.

I ordered three pizza a meat lovers, two pepperoni, three oven baked pizzas two steak and cheese one Italian, chicken, cheesy bread and a 2 liter of Sprite. The food was good!

Great tasting pizza! Salad had to be picked through for alot of brown lettuce and salami was turning color and didn't smell good. Location was in with a gas station, it was surprising. Great customer service and very friendly!

Hungry Howie's is a carryout place. The one we went to is in Mims, Florida. The person who took our order was very cheerful & helpful. We got the butter garlic crust & it was really good. Lots of toppings & cheese without ordering extra cheese. My only complaint is that the center of the crust was a little soggy otherwise it was fantastic. Will definitely order again.

The Mims Hungry Howie's is the best! Excellent food delivered steaming hot everytime! ...sometimes even the salads. Good thing it's a short trip! Anyhoo... I recently tried the Buffalo wings, sauceytriple bake... PERFECTION! Crisp outside and juicy inside! Nice selection of sauces and served with bread of your choice. I do miss the Celery stick/wing combo here but my son loves the bread. I enjoy the "flats" and my son the "drummys" and they're are typically 4 of each. Thanks for the even "Wing-work" guys! Sale item: 51% off any pizza Large, Thin crust pizza w/3-cheese blend, pep,ham,lt onion,2x bacon (Bc. Why not? Dont judge. 😉), black olives, tomato with garlic herb crust. The pizza is cooked to a delacate cracker-crisp crust and the toppings melt and married together to make an absolute ambrosial delight. Love the thin crust! + Less carbs. 😉😁

The best best best hungry howie's I have ever in my life has hands down. The lady working I forget her name but she made the best freaking hot sub everrrrr and was soooo awesome ♥️♥️ will never mind making a 45min drive to repeat it.

Excellent pizza, much better than Dominoes or Little Caesers. The crust is better, I like the butter cheese, and the bubbly crunchy pizza crust is like what Pizza Hut pan pizza crust used to be like. The $12 Supreme is definitely worth the price.

The flavored crusts help distract you from the not-that-great quality of the pizza. Set your expectations low like the prices and you won't be too disappointed. Tried the pepperoni Howie Roll (a calzone-type thing) and most of the dough was totally raw. The nice man working there put it back through the oven for me after I unrolled it to expose the uncooked dough. It was better but still pretty doughy and gross.

The staff was friendly, the prices are great. I ordered a veggie pizza, though, and went based on the menu on the Hungry Howie's website, which didn't say that there would be banana peppers on the pizza. I ended up giving it to my boyfriend because there were so many that I couldn't even peel them off to eat it. When I called and asked about this, they said something about their store not being connected to the website's menu. I would probably order here again but I'm disappointed because if I do I will have to double check against what the menu online says compared to what the actual location has. An accurate online menu would be very helpful!

They have the best pizza of anywhere around, very friendly and reasonably priced! They also have fast service and quick delivery unless it's a Friday or Saturday night when they might be swamped, because the food is so good!

Excellent place for a fast stop and quick snack when going south on I 95. Subs are huge, even the "small". Very tasty, hot, and well priced, especially compared to California prices, where we live. Of course, the "naysayers" will say the food is too greasy and salty. Don't go there if that is you. I just got some extra napkins and a bottle of water. I really enjoyed my meal... can't beat the taste and price.
