I buy pizza 1 a week for the last 2 times I bought every thing crust 2 Lg pizzas they been so nasty the taste and the crust too when I bought in the pass it was good I don’t know what’s going on so maybe they need to change cook there pizza starting to suck

I don't like talking to a third party the store always does good when I get to talk to them. I ordered xtra sauce for my baked spaghetti and didn't get any sauce.

If I could give negative I would! I ordered 2 pizzas for a group of little ladies for a slumber party. Only a small pizza showed up. When I called THE MANAGER says I didn’t have one of the ingredients for that one so I just cancelled it. Without telling me so now I have a small pizza for a large group of girls and have to order from someone else and wait to feed them again!

If I could give 0 stars I would very disrespectful staff rude as can be and whoever talked to me today looked as if they were intoxicated after seeing him and the way I was spoken to after giving my name I will never order from this location again

big ole lady in the back (septum piercing, brown hair, looks like gauges in her ears colored blue) RUDE AND LOUD AS HELL. ordered a large pizza online and then waited 15 minutes before even coming inside and she starts yelling about how it just went in the oven and staring at me. it was so rude. then you can hear her talking about how “eat it with caution” why is she even still here. the most unprofessional and nasty person i’ve ever met.

Steak and Cheese subs are delish. Pizza is above average. Prices are best around specials. Don't forget the 3 cheese Howie bread and the Cinnamon bread.

Placed an online order for the first time…app said order will be delivered in 80 mins. After waiting 80 mins called the store and was told it maybe an extra 30 minutes before food delivered ! Not good ::/:/

Order 3 weeks in advanced for anything more than a small cheese pizza, they’ll start preparing and baking it when you get there to pick it up.

Had a large pie with half sausage. Amazing price at only $9.62. Tried the Oven Baked Italian Sandwich which was one of the best I've ever had. The flavor and bread was amazing. I will definitely return soon.

I literally just moved to lakeland yesterday and decided I didn't wanna cook I was gonna order food. The entire time the man was rude sounded annoyed and seemed to have a problem taking my order. I wouldn't mind trying again just hope not to get him on the phone

If I could give negative 100 stars I would. They messed not one but two pizzas. Didn't put any meat on them that we paid extra for. We called them and they looked up our ticket. They said bring them back. So we did assuming they are already making the correct pizzas. NOT! She didn't make them until we showed her. So not only did I have to use more gas to come back I have to wait! I asked for a 2 liter of soda for my time and gas! The horrible horrible sweaty lady said no! Called and was put on hold for 16 min and had my wife call separately while i was still on hold all just so she could order in 5 min (was never responded to on hold). Told it would be an hour and in fact was delivered cold pizza an hour and 45 min later.

Tonights team was not on their game. Do better, hungry howies!

Pizzas weren’t the correct size, ordered two larges and I received two mediums. Then one was supposed to be a Howie’s Special, but it came as plain cheese. Super disappointed considering I never have an issues with the Brandon store. I left feedback, never got a response regarding my incorrect order.

Ordered 3 pepperoni pizza’s per the on line coupon. Set time for 12pm. Got three cheese pizzas at 12:30pm . Called in and I asked to speak with a manager, spoke with whom I assume was the manager, no help there either! terrible service will not order from there again.

This is our first time eating from this location. The oven baked subs had hardly any toppings on the inside and dry. Other locations add butter cheese and fill accordingly.

Rude and very unhelpful customer service. I placed an order at the wrong location, and called the store to cancel. Norma answered the phone and told me that the pizza was made already and she's sorry. I informed her that I will need the order canceled and she went radio silent. A few minutes later she came back to the phone and told me, ok your order is canceled have a good night. After being hung up on, I called the store back to speak with a manager for some sort of receipt or verification that the order has been canceled and some sort of proof I can use if the money is not put back into my account. After 20 mins on hold, the manager came to the phone and clearly had more pizzas to make because she could care less about my concerns. I was told "I have worked here for 20+ years and I have never had anyone call back and say they didn't receive their money". I asked for the name of the GM, and informed her I would be calling the GM Trish in the morning and following up on both my cancelation and the below par (even for Polk county) customer service. I recommend going to any Hungry Howies other than this one. Do better S. Florida Hungry Howies.

Although there are many negative reviews, i usually order from here almost every friday for "tradition." And they usually always get my order right. Thank you to the hard workers that prepare the meals! Your work does not go unnoticed.

I went to this restaurant with my friend and service dog. At first I left my service dog in the car running with AC and went to see if we could eat inside. They were nice but had some issues with their machines, which messed up our order and made a half and Half cheese and meat pizza all meat, when I'm vegetarian. They also discriminated against my service dog saying that she was too dirty to have in a restaurant. And when I said she was a service dog the lady said well it's still a service dog. I left there super unhappy and I hope to never even eat their food again. So if you are someone who is protected by the ADA I would recommend going anywhere but here.

Additional update: you can get a good pizza if you pay $45+ in one specialty pizza and be very specific in your order. Update: it isn't a fluke, 3 orders in at this location and it is horrible! Literally 1 piece of sausage on an entire large pizza, with very sparse toppings, under cooked dough, and the most expired pizza sauce cup ever... Not too mention an additional 30 minutes wait on top of the estimated time given. This location unfortunately can't hold a pizza topping to the one on 92 & combee. The pizza was still good, but I think a newb made it. Their toppings were sparingly placed about the large Howie's special pizza with only one slice having bell pepper and onion. Will update next time I order from this location.

$115 prepaid order made 6 hours prior to pick up. Arrived on scheduled time, waited 45 minutes, and not one apology. Shepherd Rd store, here I come.

Great pizza fast and Hot when it arrived.

Ordered at 4 for a 5:30 pick up arrived at 5:45 no pizza and was told "10" minutes paid, waited came back "5" more minutes, waited was told " its in the oven 6 minutes " with all the waiting and other customers at pick up window it took me until 6:30 to give up and leave. No pizza and not in the mood to get a refund then. The front door was locked so we all were standing outside in the 90 degree heat. I will be back to get my refund when I calm down. At least the crew was polite even though incompetent.

Waited 70 minutes for a salad to get it and was nasty. I never complain but with delivery it was 20$ and ill be dam to throw that money down the drain. I called manager and he said they will pick it up and refund me. But agrued with me. Poor management poor service and quality of food poor

They won’t tell you until you get through the painfully slow ordering process…but “delivery is at least 1 hour or more minimum at all times of day and all days of the week” per rude lady who took the order. Pizza was actually good for discount pizza.

The staff that was working yesterday 12/21/22, were amazing!! I ordered online and entered the incorrect time of 8:15 and it was my error. I was able to call and I spoke to a girl named Lindsay and explain the situation and she was able to get my large order ready for me to pick up within 20 minutes. Horrible! The pizza had a hair in it, the dough was weird, barely any toppings, the pizza was falling apart and stuck to the box. My grilled chicken salad was gross and my family complained that the cheesy bread tasted old and odd. Even my 2 year old spit it out and said "yuck". When I went for a refund they said I could only get one for the pizza because none of it had been eaten on. The pizza was easy to identify as gross due to how it looked, but we had to throw out the other food based on taste.
