Pizza was chewy the other owners made better pizza but just my opinion

My go to pizza place for authentic NY style pizza. Their pizza gives me nostalgia. Garlic knots are fire as well. Highly recommend.

AMAZING food, huge portions and the cost is really low. I've had pizzas, pastas, calzones, salads, dessert. All had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. I ordered through GrubHub one day and ILNYP responded so efficiently that the food was actually still a little too hot to eat when I received it on the other side of town. The folks who work here are really nice and will help you if you have any questions. They are not in-your-face in their care of their customers, which I really like. If I want help I'll ask. My family and I will be coming back a lot.

The people are nice. But the food seems to have gone down hill since the Business changed hands. The quality of the Dough, cheese, and Pizza sauce does it seem to be the same.

Actually decent NY style pizza. I always thought this place was a chain, so i never bothered trying it. But i had to wait for a prescription at publix and got a slice of cheese and fries. The pizza was absolutely NY style, no doubt. A thin layer of cheese w minimal browning, and heavy amount of bright acidic sauce to pair with it. The dough had a bit of cracker crunch to it, which isn't authentic, but i do like a crispy crust, so I'm happy. Very chewy too, which shows they are correctly kneading it. The fires are delicious. Likely double fried. Crispy, dry exterior and creamy almost pasty interior (in a good way). They have a butter chicken pizza i want to try. My desi bhai are hard at work in that kitchen. I can smell the masala underneath the pizza smells. 🤤 Not gainesville's best NY pizza. Italian gator takes the crown. But don't sleep on I ❤ NY Pizza. It deserves a spotlight in Gainesville's Pizza scene.

Great place to have a real NY style pizza

I went in for the first time and the service was exceptional, we were greeted upon entrance and updated on the status of our orders and greeted upon leaving the store! I order the steak and cheese sub which was delicious and more than enough for on person! I will be giving another visit!

First time going there tonight. And as born n bread new Yorkers who have lived in florida 8years this is the 1st and only place that has ny pizza spot on. Besides our pizza shop we had at oaks mall. Best ny pizza around. 🍕

I ordered the spaghetti, sausage and meatballs with sauce. I had never been to I Love NY Pizza and so I did not know what to expect. I was surprised at the relatively large menu that is offered from pasta plates to subs of all descriptions, and of course your pizza prepared the way you want it. The service at the front counter was exemplary, patient because it was my first time, efficient in answering questions, and quick to respond to a request after the meal was served. But the best part was the food! I was most surprised by the generous serving sizes of their sub sandwiches (which is what my friend got) and then the huge plate of spaghetti delivered to the table for me. Incidentally, the food was very hot, the way I like it) and also delicious even before adding additional condiments to my liking. I could not eat it all and took one half of it home for later. The restaurant is close to me, and I will definitely be visiting it often when the Italian bug bites! There is outside seating which is good (except now that it is summer weather) and several tables inside. But don't forget the takeout services they offer as well. It is good pizza but nothing special. Cleanliness is fair. The service is poor most of the time. Pricing is close to what i would consider high because relatively speaking pizza joints of this style should not be priced at or above a real pizza restaurant. That may sound like an unfair comparison however, buying pizza by the slice here is a mediocre experience at best and a poor one often enough to stay away. First of all it should not take 15 to 20 minutes to reheat two slices of pizza. Secondly, the flavor just isn’t there and it seems like there is minimal effort in managing this location. Keep in mind three stars is actually a good rating for pizza. That means it is average and you won’t walk away hungry. One and two stars would indicate serious problems with the pizza. Four or five stars would mean you had an extraordinary flavorful, life-changing experience. Nobody seems to adhere to a proper grading scale when reviewing restaurants like this. And forget the calzones they are not made with love.

Great pizza place serving HUGE thin-crust, NY style slices. Great selection of by-the-slice pies including "The Wall Street" which is pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers, and of course cheese. I used to love this place. It was my favorite pizza until tonight. The quality is not the same, taste is not the same and what I used to love the most it was as tomato sause. The tomatoes souse was too watery, no flavor , simple straight out of the can. Cheese was also different. Used to be my go to place and promoted it to all my friends, no more. Time to find a new place!!!

The pizza was rather mediocre for the size and price. I got the Butter Chicken pizza. It was mostly bread. Very little chicken. I ordered online and there is a minimum before one could checkout. Pizza itself was 13 bucks for a small. Tacked on a Pepsi can to reach the minimum to order. It all came out to about 20 bucks after taxes and a local support fee, etc. The Pepsi can smelled/tasted like cleaning product even after wiping down several times. Pouring it into a cup solved that just fine. So, all in all, 20 dollars for an OK pizza for one (small) and a Pepsi.

Ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza, and found a hair on one of them. No, it was not my hair! Yuck.

This shop is located in a strip mall. This was my first time here and I had a good experience. I called ahead and placed my order (I even was able to add to it when I realized I wanted more items). Upon arrival my order was ready and I choose some drinks from their fridge. I highly recommend the garlic knots I loved them. There is also inside and outside seating, where they will bring the food to you once you place your order.

Unfortunately, after the new owners have taken over it has gone way downhill. The food, while more expensive now, is not near as good as it was and we have been disappointed a few times. We will not be returning for a while in hopes that they tighten up.

Ordered delivery through ubereats, I think you might be able to call and avoid delivery fees not 100% though... I only say that because the uber driver forgot our sodas and desserts but when I called to ask about it, thinking they couldn't do anything, but they did send one of their delivery drivers with our forgot items & it was quick. The food was very good, pizza was huge came with the correct customizations, wings large and actually meaty , alfredo and spaghetti and was actually better than average. My wife was very excited to order here and we were not disappointed. The customer service was amazing We will definitely order again.. I always forget to call and ask about delivery before jumping on uber eats so check before using an app!

This use to be a big hit but the service and quality has gone down lately. Order was 40 mins later than the time we were given for pick up. They forgot part of our order after an extremely long wait.

We visited this place a few days ago and we ordered Butter Chicken Pizza and their Garlic cheesy bread. The pizza was fire. Trust me when I say it’s fire. We ended up eating two whole large pizzas of butter chicken and taking one pie home. Highly recommend

I LOVE ny Pizza! I have loved this place for 13 years, I worked there as a teenager and fell in LOVE with their Penne ala Vodka. It may be the best I’ve ever had. It is rich and creamy and so flavorful. Please try it. The chix, bacon ranch pizza is also really good. I hate to even post this, I’ve enjoyed many lunches at this restaurant, but recently learned ownership changed. How I learned is where the issue was created. We had a $25 gift certificate from the restaurant. We ordered dinner and when we went to pay, we were told that the certificate wouldn’t be honored due to ownership change. This place offers single slices which was a surprise to me since I ordered online. The place was clean and most importantly the food was great. You know it's good pizza when you can't find parking nearby and have to park in the back of the plaza but it's worth it. I had the wall street pizza XL and I would say the pizza was an 8.1/10. It's probably one of the best if not the best place in town to get some pizza. It's a little pricey but worth it. My only issue was that the center of the pizza was soggy and floppy. Having moved down to Florida I stopped eating pizza because nowhere had anything close to NY pizza and then I stubbled upon this place and I go there as many times as I can.
