If you want to enjoy delicious food in Eden this is it. The tropical acai bowl is amazing! And enjoy the chickens roaming around and they even sell eggs. I'll definitely be back!

Note: the rice bowls are good for two. Huge portion size. We stopped for a quick bit of tacos and ordered 2 taco dishes and 1 rice bowl. You get to choose the protein, style, and side. The mix and match adds to the variety. This is self serve place. Nice seating amidst plants and trees. Some odd games for kids. The cost posted price includes the taxes! Most people seem to order to go. Lots of seating. Ample parking.

This was by far the best food we during our week at the Keys! So fresh and flavorful!

Benn there for a clean food breakfast that did not desapoint. Bowl was trully fresk and delicious. Banana foster coffee was the best coffee we had in the keys. A bit pricey but worth it!

I don't even have the words to express just how amazing the food is. I had the BBQ short ribs with coconut rice and key lime bean salad. A perfect meal! The flavors are on point! My husband had the shaved prime rib, which our 10 year old picky eater couldn't keep his fingers out of. My son also had the ribs which he devoured. We had the pork belly app and chips and dip. I highly recommend both. The portions are very generous. The ambiance is extremely chill and laid back. I only wish I found this place at the beginning of vacation instead of the end. The breakfast and lunch menu look delicious! Don't think twice about eating here!

LOVE this spot, it's like a little oasis. Friendly chickens and roosters freely roaming, cute gift shop, very affordable food, and vegan options! Owner was super nice and gave us a rundown on the location (they planted all the vegetation and it's edible!!). Definitely a must see/do while I'm Marathon!

The place literally is a shack! Huge fans blowing hot air. The food is nothing to write home about. Got the So Flo salad...and people ..a salad isn't something you just throw stuff on and call it a salad....it was not good....my family on the other hand....enjoyed the jerk chicken....and the chicken tacos....everyone got coconut rice...which looked more like soggy rice....not going back ....even the veggies they were selling in their 'store front's was sad looking....but I guess this is ' island eating?'.... I am from the islands... everything about this ...was wrong....even the chairs we sat on were dirty.

Unique experience walking through the front door. Like a hidden garden with fresh fruits, vegetables, and food truck. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

I'm kicking myself for not discovering this place before today. While the Keys are so beautiful, the majority of restaurants are so disappointing and unmemorable. We live 15 minutes south of Cocoa Beach so we know what to expect when it comes to touristy joints, definitely no stranger to our local traps. For all the years I've visited the Keys, I've yet to find breakfast/lunch/dinner between Key Largo to Islamorada that was not only below average in terms of pricing, but flatout disappointing in quality. I don't think the majority of these places have ever experimented with seasonings outside of a dash of salt. This year's visit seems to be more apparent than any other time. I'm sure it's possible to find quality, flavorful meals in upscale spots (think ~$80+ entrees) but I don't know firsthand. Then I found Irie Island Eats.... If you're looking for somewhere that offers natural beauty, a selection of locally sourced groceries, international treats, options considerate to dietary restrictions, an escape from the exhausted and tacky fisherman kitsc (and most importantly) dishes made with pride, quality, and creativity... then you need to stop in. The gentleman who took our order this morning was a total delight and was patient with us as we read through the menu and asked questions. Definitely try the pancakes. They're unique in texture and flavor, almost cloud-like. The coconut syrup and abundance of fresh berries paired with the compote (choice of mango, passion fruit, or guava - I loved the tart of the passion fruit) created a symphony of tropic flavor. You won't leave hungry (or bankrupt for that matter!) Do yourself a solid and take home some locally sourced groceries and international treats, say hi to the resident rooster and hen, and don't leave without a latte. This isn't a dressed-up drip coffee; you're getting a robust espresso with a full flavor profile. As we don't have access to a kitchen, we'll be going back this evening for dinner and again in the morning before driving home. Tomorrow I'll be trying their french toast which is made with their homemade banana bread. While I prefer visiting the Keys when the ocean is at its warmest, I can't think of anything more dreamy than sitting on a couch with a good book, great food, proper espresso, on a 65 degree day, surrounded by their lush plants and gentle breeze. That's my plan for next time. 🌿

This is Farm to Table and everything was truly fresh and delicious!! The atmosphere did not disappoint either!! So cute and eclectic! Great vibes and friendly people. They have a market where you can buy fresh baked coconut bars and there are local, fresh veggies and fruits! This is a MUST see and enjoy! Try the banana sauce!

Absolutely beautiful place. Everything on the menu sounds soo good I want to try it all. And what’s better than eating in a garden. We came for breakfast and I can’t wait to come back to try their lunch or dinner menu

A thrilling and original tropical experience with flora and fauna all around us, giving us a chance to experience nature closely and have a wonderful and healthy vegetarian tropical meal. The cilantro noodles with veggies as a base and tropical fruits as a side make an amazing combo. They also sell exotic fruits and products. The sugarcane juice made there is super fresh and the hostesses and hosts are quite friendly and considerate.

Our experience with this place was a disappointment. There were no beef tacos. We ordered chicken tacos and the dark chicken was simply horrible. We also ordered sweet and spicy tuna poke as an appetizer and it was extremely sweet. Everything had plenty of lettuce. And on top of that the flies were attacking us and we had no choice but to get everything and try to eat in the car. After opening the tuna poke bowl in the car a fly came out. We did not enjoy anything and went to another place afterwards to have lunch.

Some of the best chicken I’ve had. The chimichurri and jerk is amazing. The vibe is cool, outside covered seating in a market set in a jungle and plant oasis. The woman working the market was super helpful and really took care of us.

Our little family of 3 found this spot by chance when we were leaving home Depot across the way so I looked it up and so glad I did. It was absolutely delicious. Kiddo got the BBQ ribs with plantains and hubby and I shared the surf/turf the shrimp skewers were amazing!!!! We got the coconut rice and coleslaw for the sides that were also amazing. Beautiful place!!! You should go! Will be back on our next visit hopefully very soon! Also the coffee shop was delicious and the barista was super friendly and kind enough to not kick us out ... It was after 8 and I didn't realize it and was just busy looking at all of the market things a d buying a coffee after dinner 💓

Do not miss this great little place! We came twice while here. One morning we had a delicious breakfast, the banana bread French toast with strawberries, bananas, and a coconut cream sauce. Everything was fresh and homemade. It sounds like it would be overly sweet, but it wasn’t. The next day, we stopped for some drinks. We had a Dirty Chai and an iced chai that was concocted to my liking. Both were so tasty. As wonderful as the food is, the ambience is incredible! Absolutely spot on if you are looking for an island vibe. As far as service goes, please realize this is all made-to-order and it is on “island time”. Just relax and enjoy the beauty and music while you wait. The lady who served us the second day was absolutely delightful and welcoming with a big smile and greeting! So nice! She definitely fit the vibe of the place and offered suggestions of how my drink could be made. Unfortunately, the previous day, the man who served us must have been having a bad day as he was not friendly and was impatient. We are glad we overlooked his attitude and came back again. Definitely highly recommend!

Wow, such great food. We ate from both food trucks. We’re vacationing and hope to visit one more time before we leave. Support locally owned businesses while travelling.

Had them cater the food for our wedding on May 24th. My friends picked it all up and brought I back to the house to keep hot until after the ceremony. Everyone raved about how great it was! We ordered the larger pans of pork and chicken and had way a lot of leftovers for our group of 30. So we divided it up and bagged everything to bring home. Will definitely stop to have a bite to eat on our next visit to Marathon. Chris and his whole staff are so nice and super helpful! Such a hidden gem!

Food, service, and vibe are incredible. We tried both an Acai bowl and a tuna poke bowl. Both items were so fresh and flavorful. The tuna bowl is huge and delicious. Definitely enough to share between 2 adults. Highly recommend this spot!!

This was recommended to us by a local and we’re glad, because we never would have found this hidden gem otherwise. It is tucked back behind a small open-air shop, just walk through the shop and you’ll find it. The menu is simple, fresh, and tasty. It’s also one of the more affordable eateries we ate at during our time in the Keys. There is a little seating area with lots of tropical ambiance where you can enjoy your food. Perfect lunch spot.

Love everything about this place!! I had the delicious avocado toast, espresso and strawberry guava juice. My husband had the egg plater with an iced latte. The service was great! Very friendly and accommodating. The food great! The Jamaican bread was yum!! We would go every day if we could. We loved the tropical vibe.

Iris Island Eats is even better in person and the pictures online are already enough to make you want to go!! You have to experience it for yourself. The food was delicious… the kids had fun… it was relaxing… was not hot despite the temperature being almost 90 degrees… 10/10 restaurant and market!

What a gem! And my favorite part is my vegan self and non vegan family can ALL eat! The portions are HUGE and the taste for all the different bowls we had were all amazing and delish.

We fell in love with this place. The best atmosphere to enjoy a bite or shop the market. Even in the spring they manage to have the ripest wonderful tomatoes and a variety of great produce and jams. Their ice lattes are out of this would- I got the pistachio one. No matter what time of day you MUST get one of the Jamaica meat pies. The Jerk chicken one was so good I gobbled it up before my avo toast on coco beard (incredible) was ready! Amazing tropical vibes with gorgeous fruit trees and adorable chickens in every corner.

This place is SO flipping good! Great tropical atmosphere with amazing food. My husband had the Mahi tacos, and I had a rlce bowl with coconut rice, Havana style, and Mahi. Perfect all around. 4/28/24 update. It's still amazing! The adjacent market also has a food truck with breakfast items. There is still a smaller market with meat, vegan ice cream, dairy items and other groceries.

After going to Jamaica on a cruise, we wanted to try out this place simply for the name. It did not disappoint. In fact, it has been the best food on our whole Great Loop trip. I sampled my husbands jerk chicken and kids ribs, and it was just as savory as my Cuban chicken. The kimchi was as delicious as I remember from my time in Washington St., and the plantain as sweet as I remember from Puerto Rico. So even if you're not in an Ieie mood, they have food from about every island out there to satisfy your cravings. The ambiance and oversized games were the cherries on top.

Wow, what a super fun atmosphere and the food is great also! I am not a huge ribs guy but the Mango BBQ Ribs were amazing. The layout is a bit confusing but don't let that stop you. Highly recommended!

This place has great energy and AMAZING food.

Found Irie during my first trip to the Keys a few years back and I can confidently say it is the BEST food - hands down - in Marathon. I've eaten out at a lot of places in town and nothing compares to it. It's super fresh and the portions are enough for leftovers the next day. In fact I just got back from 7 days in Marathon and bought 5 meals for myself while I was there. One on Friday night - the steak chimichurri was some of the best steak I've ever had. Went back again for a tuna poke bowl x 2 (another for the next day) then again for a mahi mahi bowl x 2 (one for the plane ride home). My friend and I literally said to each other, "I'd fly back down here just to eat at Irie again." Seriously, it's that good. Besides the beach, it was the thing I was most looking forward to about my trip. Honestly. Just go there...it's impossible to regret it!

We found this amazing place by chance on the way back from Key West. If you are a vegetarian lover (esp Asian origin), you will love this place. Healthy and tasty food options with a nice tropical touch!

A great little hidden place that dares to serve nice food that isn’t just another deep frier. Two weeks in the area and we easily deemed it our favourite.

Absolute hidden gem of a place. Very unassuming from the road, but if you stop and pass through the saloon style swinging doors, you find yourself in a full on tropical oasis, complete with roaming chickens, island music and seating options in the shade. Approach the food truck in the back and choose ANYTHING on the menu and you will be happy with your selection. Vegetarian options, fish, chicken, steak, you name it... all done with authentic Caribbean style and fresh, clean ingredients. Portions are VERY generous - you will not go away hungry. This is a must stop on your trip through the Keys.

Such a great spot for a meal on the road! We stopped here on the way back to the airport and we liked the atmosphere so much we decided to stay a bit longer instead of checking out one last beach. Our 3 year old loves the beans and their lemonade, I liked their cilantro noodles but found the meat too salty. Service can be slow but honestly the atmosphere makes it all worth it! There are chickens roaming free so if that's not your thing beware.

Went for breakfast, can’t wait to go back for lunch. Will be driving down from Islamorada way more often just to go here.

We found this restaurant on our way from Miami to Key West. Truly a farm to table kinda experience, food was fresh, flavorsome and tasted "oh so good"!! I tried Border wrap (veggie option) with coconut rice and plantain chips and the flavors were bang on!! Special mention fot coconut rice, which definitely stood out and tasted really good!! Probably one of the best food experience of my entire Miami trip.

I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. Best eats on marathon no doubt, every time we visit we’re here multiple times during the week. Food service atmosphere is all amazeballs. Guy Fieri would give these guys a bear hug.

Hard to call this a hidden gem with all these positive reviews, but no one we talked to ever mentioned this place. WHY? The food is amazing! The service is top-notch! The vibe is spot-on! We both got island tacos, I went with veggie and my wife picked chicken. Absolutely delicious. The key lime bean salad for side was a pleasant surprise. Getting to watch the tiny lizards jump around while eating some amazing food in a lush oasis is pretty damned special.

I was reluctant to write a review as this place is becoming so popular that parking can sometimes be a challenge. The food is FANTASTIC and reasonably priced. We had the tuna poke bowl and the So Flo salad. Amazing. WARNING: If you don't like cilantro, then this is not the place for you. 3/12/24 Update: They have expanded into the old produce market and now have 2 food trucks. The one in the market does breakfast and the one in the back is the original one. There is a LOT more seating now. I miss the old produce market but love the expansion in seating. No increase in parking spaces, though. The food is still as wonderful as always. Best deal in town!

LOVE this place. I got the Mahi tacos - Island style with Kimchi side. Wife got Hawaiian beef tacos - island style with bean salad side. Mahi tacos very good, but I’ve had better for sure. Kimchi OK. Bean salad very bland - pass on it. Food was good but not great. I should have gone with the sweet and spicy tuna taco. BUT the açaí bowls are AMAZING!!

So this place has real potential, but get some actual plates. Also, some salt and pepper for the tables would be great. Access to napkins, and the sheer physics of trying to eat out of a box it’s just not comfortable… but we both really enjoyed our food. It seemed fresh, different, and delicious. And also some direction on where to order and where to sit, I guess just really any guidance seeing that we were kind of wandering around when we first got there.

My husband and I stumbled upon this gem when we lived in Islamorada and we absolutely loved everything on the menu. It changes often so try as much as you can. Amazing flavors and spices, always spot on. Keep up the amazing work ! We miss you guys and think/talk about your food often 🥺

Kalua pork tacos were out of this world. My son got a pork belly bowl that melted in your mouth. The atmosphere is great but the layout is very busy. The truck is at the very back.

If you eat anywhere in the area make it Irie Island Eats! We ordered four different meals and loved everything. The atmosphere is fantastic and unique. There’s a small market and shop inside to go with all kinds of seating. We felt the pricing was appropriate and the portions were larger than we could finish and came out fast.

Don't miss this. The food is downright foodie worthy. It was a little confusing to find, but let me tell you........ this was a definite top 3 meals while in the keys.
