Excellent service, and great breakfast, gotta try Irmas chorizo and eggs, beans and bacon w/flour tortillas!

DELICIOUS FOOD! It's a little hole-in-the-wall place, but was absolutely amazing. Homemade chips, salsa, tortillas, and tamales! We don't make our way South very often but when we are back in the Decatur area we will definitely stop back in. Friendly staff and you could tell it was a hit with the locals.

It is a little bit off the main highway but it is worth it! It is in an old filling station and the atmosphere is super homey. Irma was a warm welcoming smile that made you feel like she was welcoming you into her home kitchen. The chips and hot sauce were homemade and delicious. We had the Barbacoa plates with the homemade flour tortillas and it was amazing! I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

We are from AL, traveling to a family gathering in Texas. I was able to call in an order ahead of time for tamales. As I picked up the fresh tamales up, was also given green and red salsa to enhance the tamales flavor. We all enjoyed both the chicken and pork. Right amount of masa to meat ratio. Very good! Will definitely order from her again! Thanks Irma!

This is definitely one of those roadside places that you could easily miss if you’re not actively looking for it! The outside looks like a gas station with no pumps, a “Cafe” sign on the awning, and an “Open” sign lit up in the window. If you’re there during the lunch rush, you may see 4 or 5 cars/trucks outside parked under the awning. When you go in, there are only 4 or 5 tables and Irma is there to greet you. Go to the refrigerator and grab a bottle/can if you want a soda & ask what the specials for the day are. The past few times I’ve been there, the Chile Con Carne with freshly made flour tortillas has observably been the popular dish, especially on a cold day. The chips are thick and crunchy, made fresh every day. Some days Irma makes fresh beef or chicken empanadas, and if you’re lucky enough she’ll make you fresh ones while you wait. If you ever find your self out in northern Decatur off FM 51, definitely give this place a try!

Hidden gem in an old gas station building. My husband has driven by on multiple occasions but has never stopped because he was pushed for time and because there were few to no cars in front. Big mistake on our part. Restaurant is very clean. The ladies working are warm and friendly. I had the breakfast plate; tasty, fresh, and hot for a very reasonable price. Chips and salsa were both wonderfully homemade...so good. BTW, the coffee was even better than your average diner-grade coffee. Don't miss this place!

Chips and salsa are the best in the Fort Worth area. Best homemade Mexican cuisine. Tortas very fluffy bread that would be amazing by itself filled with nothing but authentic alpastor. Breakfast tacos have many options I got bacon, chorizo, and sausage. I would honestly drive halfway across the state for anyone of these but, The bacon one did seem to be the most appetizing. For more of a lunch taco the Barbacoa (shredded beef) is the taco of a lifetime. With handmade tortillas and nothing but top beef and seasoned to perfection. Will be coming back!!!

This place is absolute fire!!! Barbacoa was great, the tortas are really big and have delicious flavor! Also, they have homemade chips! I didn’t even pause to snap a picture! Must go and try it!

Driving past, you just might miss it. In an old gas station, at the very Southwest end, is Irma's. Nothing fancy, just an honest, basic place to eat. You will get a good meal. Irma prepared the ingredients, cooked them, takes your order, serves you, and cleans your table when you're through. Photogenic? Nope. Good? Yup. You're going to get a meal just like you would in Irmas' home. And I would rather eat at Irmas' than the nicest restaurant in Dallas; or anywhere else for that matter. This is where I'm comfortable.

Great authentic food. And a very nice lady doing all the work. Highly suggest trying the beef fajitas.
