Worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been all over the world, not much I can say!?!?!? Grab beer from a gas station and go to your hotel room. Just no!!!! I’ve been trying to explain… juste NO!!! Get her from a gas station. If you’re local, sure! But if you’re not from here when go. No for outsiders.

Good drinks and great prices ALWAYS Great service from Katie but every time I go there when Shannon is working there’s an issue with her. Never had an instance with her particularly or directly, never been rude to her and I don’t know her outside of the club so I’m not sure what her issue is directly. Very distasteful and unprofessional. I personally try to avoid every shift she works to avoid problems, poor service, and rude comments. Very unnecessary. I have given it a few times hoping this issue would resolve itself.

Went there to see Sherri and the Shakedowns show. Very different vibe then I usually see with local bands. They were great. Bathrooms always clean,food is good but takes a long time to get food delivered to table.

Always a great time there. It really is a big family .

I would highly recommend this social club to anyone who loves to be around great people because that's all it's filled with the help the people that work there are just fantastic I've never felt so welcomed.

Great little private club. Similar to an American Legion or VFW. Everyone was kind and inviting.

Did not eat, had drinks. but loved everyone there. The owners are top notch people

I went as a guest, it is open to the public if you buy a membership or go with a member. I believe the membership was $25 for the year and I'll definitely be getting one. The service was amazing and the food was good (it is bar food lol) The drink/beer prices are terrific, which makes the membership more than worth it!! The bottled beer was almost $2 less than any other bar I've been in for a couple of years. And they had a live band that I really enjoyed. Actually it seems they have live entertainment from Thursday to Sunday every week. Go check it out, it's a good time! AND TIP YOUR BARTENDER!!

A place to go and always feel welcomed

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because Dragon was the dj tonight. The old lady bartender is very RUDE! This was the second time she was rude to my husband and me for no reason. Her attitude is unnecessary and ruins the vibe of the atmosphere. My husband and I will not be returning. We enjoy following Dragon to different bars but we will never be back to this one!! Learn some manners lady!

It's not a bad place to grab a few drinks and shoot some pool. There's always the people who lay money down in the table and claim playing the winner, which gets annoying when you show up with 6 people that are trying to hang in their circle and enjoy themselves, but that happens anywhere.

First time I went they had live music. I ended up singing a couple with em. Great prices on drinks! Awesome food!

The rib dinner was great. Drinks were good and a great price.

Unfortunately the owner here is racist. He told customers not to play “N!GG3R Music” on his jukebox. Place has roaches but makes you pay a membership fee to help “upkeep” the place. Some people like TJ still live in in the early 1900’s and thinks it’s okay to yell out racial slurs and call music “N!GG3R Music” just because the artist is of color. The only excuse they have is they don’t allow any music with hate or violence but find it ok to label it that. Not to mention lots of the rock/metal music they do play contains hate and violence.

So glad we found IRRU! We feel right at home each visit. Keep the great bands coming!

This is a social club. To enter, you either have to be a member or a guest of a member. There is an annual fee. Everyone is extremely friendly. Live music every weekend. When there is a cook, bar food is sold. Food and drinks are affordable. Overall, it is a friendly neighborhood club.

What a great club, except for the cigarette smoking. If not for the smoke it would be 5 stars. Cheap beer, great bands, and great people. It's a private club, like the eagles, but it's open to the public on Sundays. Other days ring the door bell (since you don't have a card), when they buzz you in ask if someone can sign you in as a guest. It would be great if they had consistent food available!

Saw the review about music selection, any establishment that censors others is not a patriotic establishment. Stereotyping all Rap music as bad because of another song is the equivalent of racism! Almost went here , thanks google for the review section, the Citrus County Community ain’t ready for GEN X to take over but they btr get ready we ain’t spending no $$ where we can’t be ourselves

Inside and outside , live music and lots of friendly people and staff. Loved the set up and the staff. Met alot of nice people as I look at this area to move.

Best blue collar, working class, affordable, social club in Citrus County, FL. $25 for a whole year membership with some of the best people I've met since moving up from Collier County, FL 14 months ago. Stop by and hit the little red button outside the door to get in. It took me 3 months to figure this out and I'm glad I did.

You have to be a member, but 3 visits are allowed first. Full liquor with bands on Friday nights and Sundays. Bartenders are great!

Not bad, the problem I see it lacks management. Looks like the waiters and waitresses are actually running the place they gather in corners and have their little meetings and then when they're done no get back to your table. I'm not saying the service servers are not friendly they are. But I believe they need a manager on the floor Define tune the place waiting an hour and 15 minutes to get a salad at lunch time. Why you watch the waiters and waitresses Gather in the corners talking about what they did last night. This problem could be resolved with Management on the floor if there is any

Just renewed my Membership with IRU it's still relaxing and atmosphere is Great. Been awhile since I have been there. Home Personal reasons. Today needed that feeling of being there. I only had a Pepsi and still enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the IRU. It's a membership thing Just ask about it and the requirements to become a Member.

Great bar! They made me feel right at home! I will definitely be back.

Clean and close, Inverness based, reasonable dues, four pool tables, Monday pool tournament fun and cost effective drinks , inside and outside bar areas, live bands too, good people! Go check it out if you like the things I mentioned above!

Finally, found a place that I feel comfortable going too, much like N.Y. atmosphere.

Great place to eat and drink. Everything is better than reasonable. And the the staff is fantastic. I would recommend this place to everyone

This is the best place in Inverness to go have a good time!!! Live music on Friday night & Sunday day!!! Their new outside bar is amazing!!! Everyone is friendly and the service is top shelf!!! You can go up to three times as a guest and then you'll need to pay the $25 a year membership, but don't think that membership is just going out the window, this Club does a lot for the Community, donates to food banks, holds toy drives, donates to local charities, you name it...this fine Club is on top of helping the town!!!! 5 🌟

Great social club! Reasonable dues, great bartenders and inexpensive pricing with lots of bands and fundraising events! Due to covid fallout, food is limited, but pizzas are tasty and affirdable!!!

The IR-RU Social was a great location for good music and inexpensive drinks! My family and I attended a benefit for Autism Awareness supporting the Citrus County Crest school, and I'm glad we did. We enjoyed listening to Kilroy while sipping on a $4 Crown and Sprite. We were truly impressed by their outdoor setup. There was a stage, tiki bar, fold-up dance floor and comfy seating. If that wasn't enough there was plenty of room indoors. My only complaint would be the fact that you couldn't escape the cigarette smoke because you were allowed to take it inside... I guess that's a benefit for smokers. Non-smokers be warned. All in all we had a great experience. Thank you, IRRU Family Social, for being such a supportive group!

Fun Times at the IR-RU Social Club! My date and I were brought here for an Autism Awareness benefit and stayed longer than planned for. Between the great prices and fun atmosphere, we enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward the next event!
