I enter johnny cakes,I do not get greeted,I get told just have a seat. When we get seated I have t ask fo my table to be wiped. We order our food, state exactly whatand how we want it cooked. When our food arrives the biscuits are dry with flour still on the top of the biscuit, my scrambled egg still raw, my husband fried egg white still raw not even turned white yet. When our server returns she starts to get very rude takes all of our plates does not care to hear what is wrong with our order,she yells.I own and operate salons, johnny cakes staff is completely unprofessional and rude,the food is disgusting, and they do not care that the food is not fit to eat.and the cleanliness of the establishment on the inside is unfit. Maybe the health department should be notified.just all around bad business and bad food.

Good cakes and Texas french toast, but not enough batter on the french toast. Good breakfast prices. We got the #2 and split that with a big glass of orange juice. $13 for everything. Eggs and bacon good

Renee was our waitress and was very helpful when we ordered breakfast. We settled on the Country Breakfast with a side of hash browns. I must say that the coffee was very good. We will certainly return for a lunch or dinner before we head back north.

Road construction has hurt business recently. But the extra effort to park in the back of the restaurant is well worth it. Our meals were so good. We both had breakfast. Best gravy I've had at a restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

The oatmeal was soo good, only problem was no Granola, the egg, bacon cheese on English muffin was great!! The place was very clean, even the bathroom, the waitress was very attentive. They only serve the crepes on the weekend, blueberry is my favorite one day I'm going to try the strawberry. They need a busser when so busy, or an on call person. They never know when they will have a crowd, or nobody, tough situation. Food is always really good still.

Service was great, waitress made my half unsweetened tea and half lemonade drink perfectly. The food was decent for diner food, I had a taco salad and my mom had the cold plate. Servings were generous. Lunch for 2 came to $28.29.

We had some really good breakfast I had french toast with fruit was delicious pancakes nice sausage not small and the country fried steak was delicious plan on going back to try the lunch meal

Our first visit was good and we plan to eat here again. Food was good and the waitress friendly. Not crowded at all...the atmosphere made me feel right at home.

My husband & I had brunch there, this morning. I had eggs Benedict (1 of today's specials), with hash browns. My husband had biscuits & gravy, with 2 eggs over medium, & hash browns. We both had their wonderful coffee. The meals were prepared to perfection & were absolutely delicious! My husband couldn't even finish his large order & gladly brought the leftovers home. The servers were friendly & very attentive. The prices were very reasonable. We're looking forward to becoming regulars there & trying their fantastic lunch & dinner menu, too. We highly recommend Johnny Cakes & Steaks to everyone who enjoys a perfectly cooked, scrumptious, home-style meal!
