What a wonderful experience at The Garden Bistro’s last Drag Brunch. As soon as we walked in, we felt so welcomed. It’s shame that there aren’t other businesses like this, who support the LGBTQ+ community and their supporters. The establishment is now closed, but the owner, Devon Tillman and the Queens, will be reappearing in Kissimmee. Keep an eye out for them!

I really enjoyed the food here, the service was friendly and attentive.

Honestly, there isn’t much to say besides everyone needs to come here! This place is a literal gem in Thornton park. The outdoor patio in the back with the fire pits is just want you need after a long day at work or a long week to just sit with your friends or significant other. A group of us met up after work on a Friday and literally sat in their pack porch for 3 hours. Our server was amazing, he was running around the bar in the front and the back and never missed anything. He gave great drink recommendations and we had a wonderful experience. Truly will be coming back here more often. Pictures were taken but don’t do it justice, just come for yourself you won’t regret it. Oh and Sunday’s are drag brunch and I can’t wait to go back for that.

We had biscuits and gravy and the French toast….ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! The service and atmosphere was wonderful. Wished we would have known about the Drag Brunch! 😁 DEFINITELY a place not to be missed

What a gem! We were looking for something we hadn't had before a performance at Dr. Phillips. What a great find! We will definitely be back! We had drinks, entrees and dessert, and everything was high quality, delicious, flavorful! I personally had the snapper and grits, and I was a little concerned there would be too much sauce. But, it was perfect! It had so much flavor, great texture, and the grits weren't drowning!

Great place with a great local feel! The drinks were great, and Peter made sure our group had everything we need. Can't wait to come back again. Our group enjoyed the food, and everything smelled great. The outside area is the best part!

Brunch food good and reasonably priced. Server a bit inexperienced but made up for it in friendliness. We came, as much as anything else, for the drag brunch but were told it was on hiatus for 2 weeks which was a bit disappointing. What was extremely disappointing was the bottle of sparkling wine we ordered which had virtually no fizz or sparkle whatsoever. When we pointed this out ( and clearly showed our glasses with no fizz... ) to our server, he said he'd check with the manager. Upon checking with the manager he returned to our table and said " the manager said to remind you that this is sparkling wine and not champagne." ( !?!?!? ) Not really an adequate answer or response IMHO. In any event, might go back for brunch or coffee but will stay away from the "not champagne but sparkling" wine. 🤣🤷‍♂️

Love this place. Always have a great time with friends and the Owner Devin is a sweetheart. Me and my friends always have a fabulous time and a great place for LGBTQ+ friendly environment.

I visited this establishment on New Years and they are crooks!!! I purchased a drink and asked to use their bathroom and they told me it would be $10 to use the bathroom. The only way I could use the bathroom is if I bought unlimited drinks because I guess the one drink that I bought was not good enough. When it was time to pay the guy put the tip percentage on 25%. They also charge you a fee if you pay with card and not cash and that is fine but they just do not make it aware before charging you. I do not recommend visiting this establishment. Take your business elsewhere.

We wandered in and had a wonderful meal and great conversation. Patrick the bartender and Devon, the owner chef provided excellent food and service and even a bit of entertainment. We shared the Sancocho which was delicious. Also Happy Hour from 4-6:30 on Wed thru Friday. Highly recommend!

Our server Patrick from the BRONX was awesome, the food was DELICIOUS, and the patio was gorgeous. We got fried plantains, jerk wings, and the most fire porkchop dish I've ever had, with buttermilk onion gravy, mashed potato-coconut-plantain, and collard greens. Will come back!

Came here for brunch on Saturday and absolutely loved everything about Island Time. Patrick and Matteo were so wonderful with us. Food was delicious and drinks were solid. We loved it so much we came back the next day and they even remembered my drink. Sundays they have drag brunch and it's fabulous.

My friends and I came here for drinks after Pride and not only is the menu amazing and appetizing, the frozen drinks are so good. I recommend the coquito and jerk plantain fries. The only thing to beware is that the is that the portions are way too small for the price!

This place a secret gem! Keep it a secret and ask for patrick to serve!

Since the first day I walked in through that squeaky front door, I knew I found a new place to call home, make new friends. I was greeted by a fantastic smile and a 'How's it going?' lt made me feel welcomed and at home. I ordered a frozen drink because, I was a little overwhelmed by their selections of beer and wine. They do not carry any of the mainstream beers like Bud Light, Pabst, Natty Daddy...etc. I sipped on that Piña Colada and gandered around the atmosphere, I was mentally lifted from the hustle and bustle of the city life, and placed on Island Time. It was the calmness I needed in my life. Thank you so very much for the experience!!

Was scratching my head as I arrived, and everything was set up in the back for sunday brunch. Wasn't sure about how everything was set up, but it was super legit and fun for my family and I. The drag show was a funny entertaining show. The ladies were terrific performers. The service was excellent from the staff. The food was very good too. Highly recommend for a brunch outting. The bread pudding French toast was super good.

Who doesn't love Island Time?! Whether on an actual island or in the heart of Orlando, you'll be pleased either way. This quant establishment has a full menu is delicious foods, beer, and wine. If you're in the area it's a 'must see' local hangout.

We went to a Sunday Drag Brunch and had the best time! We were only a party of two so we sat at the bar and dined before the show but then moved to the reserved seats outside . We shared the shrimp and grits and the bread pudding French toast. Both were so delicious and a nice balance. I’ve been to a few drag shows and absolutely loved thr entertainment. They had excellent performances and shared their time across the crowds. Please bring lots of bills to tip then! It’s lasts a few hours. And we got up during intermission to do the electric slide and wobble! I plan to attend again with more friends.

A great street side cafe vibe, with fantastic drag entertainment. Staff and service is fantastic! Note that it's not a full bar, but great selection of beers, canned cocktails, and island style drinks.

I want to rate higher but the food was poorly cooked. Vegetables were visibly charred (black charcoal) from broiler and replacements were barely cooked. Thin crew during holidays and the only chef left during the meal.

Come here to play corn hole every week and I always enjoy the frozen drinks. The vibes are pretty chill and the tables outside are great for a quick snack & chat with friends.

One of the many hidden gems of Orlando, as well as one of the best. Very chill, relaxed atmosphere. The Mac n Cheese with pimento cheese, chicken and bacon was out of this world! The spicy chicken sandwich came with the best potato salad ever! (Sorry Mom) and the cucumber mangi salad was amazing as well. Watermelon and basil margarita was surprisingly delicious. I've driven by here dozens of times and never noticed it. Glad my wife wanted to go here. Now to find a place to park my tow truck next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Hidden gem in Thornton Park. Good local beer selection, amazing Southern and Island style cooking. Super friendly staff. Not too busy on a Saturday afternoon.

We really liked this place and the food is for sure fresh! Really like the server, Matt, he's a cool dude. The music was chill and the outdoor seating is simple. We had the jerk pork sliders (really good), empanadas (good), collard greens (🔥), smoked wings (good), bread pudding (really good), pink lemonade (really good), and the tropical drink is good too

Amazing atmosphere and service on Sunday Drag show brunch. Unfortunately, the food options are not many and they were out of some items. My food was very spicy and it was not explained as a spicy dish. Especially the grits were over peppered becoming inedible. I will be returning for the show, service and drinks only.

We had a great time at drag brunch with headliner Trinity the Tuck! Overall great experience and would definitely recommend! Call or email ahead as reservations go fast. I follow on social media to stay up to date on who is performing at shows.

Grabbed a couple drinks while waiting for an Uber. Looked like a lot of fun to be had in this block.

I recommend! It was an amazing time I had with my friend the other guest at the restaurant. The staff were nice and the drag so was very well put together. It is a small venue and the drag so is outside, so definitely hope that there is no rain or strong winds when you visit. The food was good I had the shrimp and grits and the cuban sandwich. Helpful tip! If you want to see the drag show email them weeks in advance after you see the flyer.

Drag queens getting in peoples faces and kissing them during literally the worst phase of the pandemic. Kind of negates having the show outside if your performers are going to be doing this.

One of my favorite places to Go for food and drinks in Thorton park. The drag brunch is my favorite and I would even argue that it’s the best drag brunch I’ve ever been to in the orlando area. Not only do the customers get involved but people driving on the street and people passing by. The frozen swirl drink is always delicious as well.

Set at the bar and had a couple of adult beverages. Ordered the empanadas and plantains. Both were excellent. The 2 guys serving were very friendly and fun to talk to. This is a great place to hang out and relax.

Absolutely amazing surprises to your buds from the popmosas to the pork belly and everything I tasted so far. I would definitely work my way through this menu. Great neighborhood place to visit steps away from the center of downtown.

I went on a Sunday with my friend from Detroit. We absolutely enjoyed our meals. We sat outside in a much shaded area facing Washington St. We did not wait long on our drinks or meal. The shrimp and grits had the right amount of spiciness. Ms Detroit gave them a rating of seven, however I noticed she CLEANED her plate. I give my meal a ten. The potatoes where very well seasoned. The gravy for the biscuits was so tasty, you can eat by itself in a bowl. To top off my review, I must add the friendly staff. Tyson and Stephanie are great. I will be returning to this spot.

My friends and I had a great experience here. The server, the food, the owner are all fantastic. I had the chicharron appetizer and it was just so authentic and real fried pork belly. To die for!

First visit. We enjoyed it. Tried a winebased bloody mary (sounds gross but actually worked!) Had the shrimp and grits and the fried pork belly in chimichurri sauce. Everything was delicious! Server was very nice and helpful with his suggestions. We'll be back. 😊

I adore this place. I’ve gone many times for drinks with friends. Never too crowded, and prices are good on drinks. I was super happy to hear they were starting a Drag Brunch! Loved the entertainment, atmosphere, service and such. The only qualm I had was the food during drag brunch. Portions were extremely small, comparable to the portions they give at Epcot food and wine at the food booths. Don’t get me wrong, what I did get was delicious. But I wanted more than three bites, for $15. Will definitely return and support local!

The good. The food was great especially the shrimp pasta. The plantain fries were good. The jerk wings were very tasty. The crab cake had a lot of filler. The bad. The only problem i had was why would the host bring out warm water with no ice, we are in Florida and the temperature that night was around 90 degrees. Then the appetizer came out after the food. But other than that service was great and the did have a variety of table games to make your date go smooth.
