The food was amazing. Price is as expected for this type of restaurant. Only down side is they do not have a grill for you to sit at to watch them cook your food.

Stopped here while passing through Fargo, and was definitely impressed!!! Great selection of sushi both raw and cooked! Everyone ordered off the chef's special rolls, and everyone enjoyed their rolls! Definitely would stop here again!!!

While the food is good...I cannot get passed what I saw a sushi preparer behind the counter (wearing a black NY hat) doing and then using the same (unwashed hands) to prepare sushi. To me, I don't care how good the food is...I won't go back if the personal cleanliness isn't there too.

Best sushi in town! They have all you can eat which is cheaper during lunch than it is during supper. Decently priced for all you can eat and such a variety to chose from. They also have a menu you can order off of. If you haven't had it yet I highly suggest trying them!

Ordered Hibachi Steak Fried Rice. It was not good! First off the vegetables were ok, but not fully cooked. The bit into like they were still have raw. Secondly the ratio to all vegetables was 50% onions to 50% everything else. My had good flavor but was actually cold.. not Luke warm not hot off the hibachi but like sitting around waiting for the rest of the tables food to get done cold!!! The only good thing about this place was our waitress, she did a good job. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY. AND I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE BACK! D-

Food & service here is top notch, friendly & helpful waitress who checked on us regularly. Fast service & delicious food. Definitely room for big groups of people to. Recommend the Rangoon's & calamari! There sushi is awesome to ! Also get a couple fry'd oreos ! You won't regret that.

Food was great. Service was not. 2 people ordered all you can eat sushi and the server never came back after the first order. Then he never brought the ice cream which we ordered and was supposed to come with the meal. Very disappointed. We were completely ignored

Excellent place to be with family and friends

Yesterday was the second visit here. The first was about 4 months ago. I had never had sushi before this. I have to order off the gluten free menu as I have celiac. While there are less options and you can't do the all you can eat, there's still a pretty big list of things and variety to try different types of sushi/sashimi and rolls. I was super impressed with the food. The service was fairly fast and the food is very good. I have had no issues with any cross contamination as they take precautions for my order. Thank you for such a great experience with my first couple times having sushi!

Everything tasted amazing! I would recommend ordering in small amounts for we really did not know the portions we were going to get in the all you can eat menu. But after that we delighted throughout the night!

Been here over 20 times for weekday lunch over the years. Always a good experience. Lunch menu and price are a nice value offering many choices than just sushi. Got 2 coworkers to try it and they also keep returning.

Our friend paid the meal and said she will pay in advance because shes leaving. After we received our receipt, We were not allowed to order anymore. After the waiter spoke to the manager they told us this is the last order that we will have for the "all you can eat" promo. The waiter was upset and ignored our gratitude. We will not eat again in this restaurant!!

Being served here is a joyful occasion. The food itself was sugary or tasted of old cooking oil.

Amazing staff! Food, overall was a very good experience, I had a great lunch with my mom. And we live 2 hours away. We try and come every time we're in town. And this time as a gift for coming from all this way, they gave us these AMAZING, Cute coffe mugs! This place deserves a 100/10

I've been here many times for all you can eat sushi. Lunch and dinner prices are available. They have take out and off the menu ordering available. This visit was soup and sushi rolls to go.

First time going here as a birthday lunch and had a great experience! Everything was delicious, and cheese ragoons were the best I've had! Our server David, was very attentive and friendly and had great recommendations! I can't wait to go back! I definitely recommend.

These events happened at 12/26/23 at 9pm. First off this was my worst experience at this place, my boyfriend and I went there at 9 (they close at 10) we ordered as fast as we could, while our order was in process our “server“ came up to us and checked off more things for us to order. We tried to be nice but there were some things that we wouldn’t eat that he checked off. We new there was a charge for not eating all of it so we scarfed moat of it down and asked how much it would charge extra. The guy said it was fine. I thought was nice until I noticed that instead of around 40$ it was 70$ for just me and my boyfriend. We were okay to forget it at first and say whatever but then after we paid. This women worker with a black coat came up to us(not sure who she thinks she is) she then started asking why we didn’t leave a tip. My boyfriend and I aren’t rich at all and thought it would be way less so that’s why we didn’t tip. My boyfriend said it was more then he thought it would be and he didn’t have enough for a tip. She then GUILT TRIPPED my boyfriend by saying “well how was the service?“ “you aren’t going to tip your serve?” “the service was good so why don’t you want to tip your serve?” she DID NOT GO AWAY until my boyfriend said he could give a $2 tip and even that was pushing it, she then looked at him with a disgusted disapproving look, and walked away and started speaking in a different language as we got out and left. We we’re out of the store by 9:56 and they locked the doors right away after we left, my boyfriend and I will never come back and are hoping that the rude lady sees this. This was truly baffling and my boyfriend and i are so upset because this was one of our favorite spots. Also I would like to point out that all of them were on their phones and wearing their jackets to leave the whole time we were there which was very unprofessional. So disappointing.

I’ve loved loved! This place since I moved back but today me and my boyfriend came in for some all you can eat! And unfortunately since we sat down we didn’t get our drink at all and when we asked for them they brought us the wrong drinks 2 we only got half of our food and he didn’t check on us to see if our few bites were good or doing okay which is okay I guess but we really wanted to just leave! Hopefully the next time we come in it’ll be better

My husband, son and I went to have a sushi meal. This experience was excellent! We tried over 8 different rolls as well as three different appetizers, three different meals and three different desserts. All was excellent. We will be back. The service was great.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant! I was a regular customer when I lived in Fargo. Both Fargo locations have excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The food quality for all you can eat never drops in comparison to a la carte and you always get your money's worth. I definitely miss going here on the regular. Any chance the owners will open more restaurants in North Dakota? I can only dream of the day they open one in Bismarck/Mandan.

A folha do menu do "all you can eat" apresentado é "um espetáculo" (pela negativa)! - Serve para fazer a encomenda dos "items" que se deseja, os quais são trazidos à mesa a posteriori. Entretanto só se pode fazer nova encomenda (nova folha) se se tiver consumido tudo o que se pediu. - a folha de encomendas é de preenchimento confuso. - ela tem diretrizes "prepotentes" escritas a vermelho, como a de se pagar uma taxa extra se porventura não se consumir tudo o que se pediu. Entretanto, os pratos são deliciosos embora com algumas falhas na textura (pele do salmão borrachosa e algas "plastificadas". O misu era pobre e desenxabido Como a maioria dos pratos eram saborosos, acabei por atribuir 3 estrelas!

To my great sadness, Fargo does not have many solid, great options for sushi, but Izumi is definitely one of the top ones if you are craving that type of food, as I so often do. I like that this Izumi has an “all you can eat” option, I mean it says it in the name haha. If you are planning on getting more than 2 rolls, a couple sashimi or nagiri, or basically anything past 2 dishes I’d really recommend just choosing the all you can eat option. Then you can get an app, some rolls or other sushi, and dessert and it’s all for one baseline price (albeit a little spendy but less than if you’d get it all for the regular prices otherwise). Everything was pretty decent. I’d go there again and be plenty happy because I’m getting my current sushi fix. Miso soup was how it should be, and I really enjoyed the red bean ice cream as well, it was really unique and fun to try. That’s all I got to sush-say!

Izumi has delicious food. Sushi, sushi rolls, appetizers of all kinds, soups, salads, and ice cream for dessert! Very sleek and modern. We go for the all you can eat option which lets you try out many different options. Fast service and you can even watch them make the sushi rolls if you want! Really delicious, though pricey.

Great atmosphere, good bathrooms and excellent food. Maya was an excellent server. That said... The Hostess was rude from the start. No greeting, no smile or even acknowledge I was standing in front of her! I thought about turning around and walking out but figured, this is new and give it a try. Thankfully, my server, Maya was exceptional! Maya definitely made up for the poor hostess! She helped me pick out several items and was very patient with me. I ordered the all you can eat and was satisfied with the choices she suggested. Maya is definitely an asset to Izumi. I left her a large tip. Sadly, the kitchen clean up person hung around waiting for me to leave and made me feel like I was a hassle to be dining there. Then the air conditioner was turned on at 10pm even though there was still 30 minutes to close. I expect this of a Dennys or Ihop but here? All in all, I was considering bring friends and family here but not anymore. Don't visit after 9pm unless you want poor service. Maybe before that, you will get treated well. Maybe I will take my son here someday so he can learn what bad service is. It would be a good lesson for him.

OK, maybe it's not the best idea to order sushi in Fargo, North Dakota. But it was close to our hotel, we love sushi and we were hungry. We ordered three rolls, salmon skin, soft-shelled crab, and spicy tuna. Each was almost inedible. the soft-shelled crab had small tough bits of crab, the spicy tuna was shredded unidentifiable fish, and the salmon skin roll was inedible. Basic sushi was a little better, with decent salmon, not good eel, regular flying fish roe, and a terrible spicy salmon. Skip it.

Always our go to place for sushi when visiting our son at NDSU. Always good food fast service and helpful staff.

Not sure why this restaurant got such high reviews. Menu looks and sounds great but the quality of food just doesn’t deliver. Seaweed was so chewy, it wouldn’t break down. Bland flavours, greasy fried apps. The only thing I would order again is the cheese Rangoon’s. I wouldn’t waste your time or hard earned money here. Very expensive for what was served.

My friend and I stopped here because we both love sushi. The miso soup tasted like dishwater. I ordered sims sort of martini that I couldn’t even drink and the sushi was so-so. Was very disappointed in our meal.

All you can eat for about $30 is an excellent value. Everything is freshly prepared and the price doesn’t change if you order items that otherwise would be more expensive. You can try anything you like. The quality is excellent.

We went to Izumi Sushi today for the all-you-can-eat lunch, and had a wonderful experience! Our server, Eric, was excellent, and my ten-year-old son especially liked him!
