Excellent experience overall!!! Ricky is an awesome bartender ! Excellent skills with unique cocktails and very accommodating.

To sum it up: Nice décor, badly presented/terrible tasting food and poor service. Save yourself a bad dining experience and go elsewhere. With so many other choices in Naples, we are never going back to this place.

Great service. Carlos is phenomenal and well educated on all dishes. Food is fantastic and great size proportions. Even dessert was a lot. Unfortunately we won't come back to Naples as we live in Georgia, but will definitely try the one in Atlanta.

Blake Is one of the best bartenders around. He is very professional, always remembers us and makes a great cocktail! Service is always on point with Blake. I’ve visited when he wasn’t there and the service was not nearly as good. In fact, we sat at the bar, and were completely ignored. I hesitated to return. However, on the next visit, Blake was there, and he didn’t disappoint! We’ve tried a few different things on the menu, and the food was good. Thanks for the great service Blake!

I ordered the bone in ribeye, more than 50% of the ribeye was fat… I was in the restaurant business for over 30 years. This was the worst piece of meat I ever had. I don’t recommend this restaurant….. Joe M

This place is amazing! Everything we ordered was absolutely outstanding. Definitely the best ribs in Naples, and possibly the best I've ever had. Also fantastic service. Blake and Carlos took great care of us. Warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Can't wait for our next visit!

Solid, if not typical, American-style bistro. Probably not going to be wowed with the menu, but worthy if you are looking for a classic bistro meal. Large portion sizes, too. Service was excellent. The restaurant tries to instill a higher level of "sophistication" by requesting no hats and no casual dress, but when we dined there were lots of folks in shorts, t-shirts and ball caps.

2 of us at the bar for dinner. I got the NY Strip with the Mac and Cheese and added Béarnaise sauce which was slammin. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful, it didn't even need any extra salt or anything. The Mac and cheese was soo good. I love the crust on top and how creamy it was. Other guy got the Ribs. Now i got to try some, and i will say its hard to impress me with ribs, but these were def some of the best I've ever had in Naples. Also not to mention how great of a price point this place is. I Fully recommend this place and will be back soon!

Just ate at the Naples J. Alexander’s and had an Amazing experience. Our server Arielle was over the top amazing! Five Star shout out to Arielle. Four of us all have the same opinion.. the food, drinks and service is Five Star! The Pork Chop was huge, full of flavor and juicy, a must try!

My husband and I dined at J. Alexander's for the first time last night, and we're so sad we hadn't tried it sooner! We chose to sit at the bar and were treated like royalty by everyone there. Blake, Ricky, Lindsey, and Sara were absolutely top-notch and a lot of fun! The food was incredible—my husband ordered the prime rib, which is a rare find on menus these days, and it was mouthwatering! We absolutely cannot wait to return!

Hostess was not friendly. Young lady has delusions of grandeur. She thinks she’s working the door at Studio 54. Said we would have a long wait and were seated in half the time we were told. Otherwise, a great experience.

Everything here was outstanding. Service from Janelle was impeccable. We will ask to be seated in her section from here on out, that's how fantastic we found her to be. She checked on allergies, which I always appreciate. But this food. . .LORDT!! Those crab cakes are incredible. Seriously. A perfect crackly top, wonderfully meaty with lump crabmeat, and a light sauce to finish it. It will be difficult for me to try anything else on this menu after ordering this. Subbed out fries for a baked potato that was so light it barely needed any butter. Husband's pork chop was enormous! It was this double-boned thing that he says was seared perfectly. So good, in fact, that he apologized for all of the pork chops he ever prepared in the past for our son (husband realized how good a pork chop can be). Janelle brought us a slice of warm carrot cake. If you like carrot cake, you MUST give this a taste. Really, really good. Just an EXCELLENT addition to the constellation of restaurants we have in Naples.

Again, another great dinner with my beautiful wife. Best romantic getaway.

Went there and smelled a foul order. Server told us it was a sewer backup in the kitchen and management did not shut down yet feeding people. Really nasty and irresponsible

The food is amazing and atmosphere is nice! In my past two experiences, they could improve on their service as the staff doesn’t seem happy or trained well. It could be because it’s newer but as someone that’s worked in the service industry it could be improved.

This was our first visit to any J. Alexander's. We visited the new Naples location for Mother's Day Dinner. We had a fairly large group and did not know what to expect from this Resturant. Lets start with the server (Janelle) who was absolutely amazing, professional and extremely attentive to every need. She made the experience perfect for my wife and my mother! The manage (Michael) was also onto of his game and visits our table to check on our experience. The food was hot, onetime and presented extremely well. We were blown away how good our experience was and how much we enjoyed the food. we ended the evening with dessert and their carrot cake was one of the best in the area. We will definitely visit again and ask for Janelle if possible.

Our dinner's, Mr Jack's Crispy Chicken Platter and Baby Back Ribs, were delicious. Our Old Fashioned Cocktails were very good. Excellent service and atmosphere.

My friend Michele and I met here for dinner ! Our server Dominick (female) is phenomenal ! We ate the baby back ribs and she had the cypress salad that was really good as well! I also think the meatball appetizer was exceptionally good as well!

We enjoyed our food and the service during our visit to J Alexander’s. However, the open atmosphere makes it difficult to hear table mates. Even when dining in the more secluded area off of the main dining floor we still found ourselves yelling across the table and straining to hear conversation. As a frame of reference we dined on a Saturday night from 5:30-7:00pm and none of our party have hearing issues.

This is a great restaurant. Check them out!

Love J Alexander's. We have been to the Livonia, Troy and West Bloomfield locations plus Sylvania, Ohio. Excited that we have a establishment in Naples. Best is yet to come for Naples!!

We had a table of eight for a surprise Birthday dinner. Food was delish however the service was lacking. The servers were friendly but very slow. I will definitely go back after season ends - we also knew that it’s a new place so they still have to work out the links.

This was a our first visit to the Naples location - been to the PGA one in February. The layout is interesting, definitely different than PGA, which is a wide open room. Naples has several areas - we had a booth in between the bar and the open kitchen (has a glass window). We were celebrating our son's birthday and they gave him a card and a special dessert - very nice touch! The meal service was a little chaotic that evening. My husband ordered the trout and got a shrimp entree. My son ordered the steak with a lobster bernaise sauce, and received the steak but no sauce. I ordered the ahi tuna which I had at the PGA location and everything was the same except for the tomatoes. At PGA, they were sliced with some olive oil and balsamic and basil. Here, I got chunks (quaters) of tomatoes with nothing on it. The manager Mike got involved in resolving the entree issues which was not a problem. They are still a recently opened restaurant so things to do happen. We were very impressed with how Mike handled the situation and that is a sign of a solid business foundation. The food was delicious and it was a lovely evening. Well worth visiting!!!

This restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale is my favorite restaurant. The one in Naples is horrible. Sat for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Received wrong drink, food was dry . What a shame! I was so excited that we were getting one in Naples. But will never go back

Had a lovely evening here tonight with my family. Our server Justin was attentive and professional. There was a small mix up with dinner which resulted in the manger coming over, he was polite and professional. 4 of us had the steak, cooked to perfection and really juicy. The others had the chicken which again was lovely. We will definitely be back

We have been fans of J Alexander's for 24 years and we were excited to try their new location in Naples. We were not disappointed by the food, service, or drinks. Everything was amazing as usual. The steak was cooked to perfection, the salad was fresh and crisp, and the chocolate cake was divine. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. The cocktails were well-made and refreshing. The only downside was the noise level. It was very loud inside the restaurant, making it hard to have a conversation or enjoy the ambiance. Even our server noted that this was the quiet part of the restaurant at over 80 db. It was easily the loudest J Alexander's we have ever been to, and we have visited several locations around Florida. We will definitely return to this restaurant, as we love their food and service. But we sincerely hope that they can do something to reduce the noise and make it more comfortable for their guests. Maybe some soundproofing/panels would help. GIK Acoustics would gladly provide a free review of the space and make recommendations. Even artwork printed on sound panels to disguise them would help. We still recommend J Alexander's to anyone looking for a great dining experience, but be prepared for a loud environment.

I was looking forward to try this new restaurant in town, especially because of all these great reviews. It started very good, we had extremely attentive and nice waiter, and food was good. The problems started after receiving main course. Our waiter vanished and we had to wait 30 min to get our receipt and be able to leave. On top of that manager was yelling on bartender in front of customers. Very unpleasant experience. I’m not going back there!

First time eating at this restaurant. I was amazed how good the food was. We will definitely go back!

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Naples in a long time. Drinks, Apps, Entrees, Management checking in. Best dining experience in a while. Big thanks to Mike and Kyle for making us feel comfortable and for Chris for serving up some awesome suggestions and service. Will be coming back a ton!

I sent an email to corporate about the poor way we were treated at the Naples location on Feb 21 by the front hostess. Cant vouch for the food or other service as we were NEVER SEATED despite having a reservation.

Worst service I have ever experienced! We never saw the waitress after taking our order, then the meal comes and I needed another glass of wine, asked that Inot wait a long time for it, then got it 10minutes later - after I ate my meal!!!! More noise than at a concert, can not have a conversation. Waitress was poorly trained!

Good food, reasonable prices, nice service a little loud.

First time visiting this restaurant for dinner with my family and when we sat at the assigned table, incredibly we were left waiting without anyone serving us, sitting for 30 minutes without receiving any attention. Very disappointed.👎🏼

Great new restaurant - been there 5-6 times - great staff - good menu - fair pricing - ordered several salads - 2-3 times - whoever is doing their salads though has never seen a bottle dressing they don’t like - ruined the Asian Ahi Tuna Salad as well as the Thai Kai Salad - 3 times now!

First time and it was amazing! Our server Sarai was an absolute pleasure, wait staff was incredible as well. The chefs out do themselves and are very accommodating everything we ordered was delicious will definitely be back soon!

Took my wife here for the first time for Valentine's Day lunch. We had been to J Alexander's in other cities years ago, but this was our first time at the new Naples location. The place was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday lunch, but we were immediately seated. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered Coke with lemon. Many servers often forget the lemon on my refill, but this server did not. We shared a wedge salad, which tasted great. I had prime rib and fries, my wife had salmon and fries. Everything was delicious. My wife asked how the salmon was prepared. To our delight, the server asked, "How would YOU like it prepared?" My wife asked for blackened, and they obliged. Very nice. She loved the salmon. My prime rib was as good as any I've ever had in Naples. Until now, Pewter Mug has been the best prime rib in Naples. J Alexander's was on par with Pewter Mug, maybe even a little better. My wife and I both feel that J Alexander's skinny fries might be the best french fries in Naples. To give you an idea of how fast the service was, we were completely done with our amazing meal only 35 minutes after we arrived.

First time there.. AWESOME!! Had the house salad that is Big enough for 2, steak was so tender with fries and we had barbecue ribs meat falls off the bone..... Servers are Great...You go in hungry and leave very satisfied...mgr Mike stopped by our table, made sure we were ok!! From home town IL., Downers Grove, Indian Head Park area.. We love J. Alexander’s and the similar Houston’s/Hillstone locations. The Naples iteration of J. Alexander’s is everything we’ve come to expect. Great team service. Excellently prepared food. We enjoy their Thai Kai salad, Cypress salad, grilled salmon, steaks, burger, loaded baked potato, soups and most of the appetizers. Comfortable booths, great cocktails and a nice by the glass wine list (Justin Hope Cabernet $18). Don’t forget the warm carrot cake…it’s to die for.

Five star experience at reasonable prices! The food is delicious! We started with the fire-grilled artichokes which were amazing! I ordered the French dip. It’s the best I’ve ever had, and my husband said the same about his oven roasted chicken dish. Service was also great! We always appreciate small touches like warm hand towels and clean silverware between courses. We dine out a lot, and this was one the best overall dining experiences we’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to return!

This is what Naples needed! A restaurant with a great atmosphere, super friendly and motivated staff, that shares a uniform look and is well trained. The prices are absolutely fine for what you get, because the food is really, really good. It is fresh and tasty. The glasses are super clean and the tab water does NOT taste like chlorine, like in soooo many other restaurants. We will be back shortly.

Server was not great. Took our drink order. It took 15 min to get drinks. When delivered, asked immediately for our food order. My MIL was asking questions and Server was already trying to ask my husband for his order before she was done with my MIL. When food came, she never came over and asked how the food was or if we needed anything further. Really never saw her again until she came to ask if we wanted dessert. We had to ask for to go box, never brought us a bag as we had 2 boxes. The food was good. I live within walking distance and We will be back. But I will request a different server. Not sure if this her profession!!

I’m from Nashville and I feel like I “grew up” eating here for so many different occasions. ALWAYS good food! Eating here in Naples today brought back all the “feels” 🥰. The food is still as good as I remember!! We can’t wait to go back! Dont miss the spinach queso! I had one of their entree salads and my husband had the prime rib and mashed potatoes. 👌🏻👌🏻 Our waiter was Michael (or Mike?) and he was awesome. Everyone working was on point! Impressive considering they’ve been open less than a week! 👊🏻

We love this restaurant in Nashville. And happy to see that their highest level of service and excellent food now available in Naples Florida!! Meals, stuff (each single one), kitchen stuff are all FANTASTIC!! And prices (in compare with Sarasota) so reasonable!! Highly recommend this restaurant!
