Sadly this was my “ chicken and fries “ .. I saw the menu online says they are 7$ … they raised it 6 months ago to 15$, at least what the women on the phone told me they raised it 6 months ago. Already surprised they’re very expensive because this is the quality of food I got lol which is ridiculous. I rather go to Applebees and get a better deal and service. The potato salad came in a sauce cup very small. “ chicken fingers “ are very hard and burnt. The quality of the food seemed to have changed . I was very excited to eat here until I saw this. Don’t waste your money! And if you’re paying card they charge you a 4% tax fee so be prepared to pay even more. Wish I had a better experience.

Stumbled upon this local cafe for breakfast mostly everything homemade with very friendly staff. They offer alot of choices at reasonable prices. Looking forward to going back and trying the lunch options.

Jack's is the quintessential small town family owned experience - great food with a warm and friendly vibe. Marianne and Jack are always there and they are wonderful and personable. They have catered 2 brunch parties for us and the food was a hit!

Second time having breakfast here and it was just as good as the first! They have omelettes eggs, french toast pancakes. All the standard breakfast stuff. They're blueberry pancakes are some of the freshest I've ever had. Today I had one of their specials which were brownie pancakes they were little pieces of homemade brownie mixed in with the batter. Then they were very good. They don't have cold brew but they're regular. Ice coffee is some of the best I've ever tasted. The manager is sweet. She runs the cafe. Takes all the orders and interacts with the customers. I had breakfast with my father and sometimes he can be a pain. They didn't have expresso but she allowed him to come in with a cup of coffee from the outside which I was embarrassed by but it was very nice of her to allow .She's very friendly and outgoing. This will definitely be one of my new frequent places to visit.

Food was mediocre. What bothered me was being over charged. Funny how someone asks you what you do for a living and when they find out (incorrectly assume you have $) your bill magically ends up being 90 dollars for 2 adults and a child to eat breakfast with a 20% tip. I understand people are hurting, she mentioned she was, it doesn’t give you the right. I’m sitting here on the menu and it still doesn’t add up. Sad.

Great Place for a great breakfast.

First time at Jack's Cafe and didn't have a great experience. Had bfast there, sandwich n coffee. The sandwich was good n the coffee was cold. It was empty n the customer attention was lacking.

We ordered for take out for the first time today. The woman on the phone was so kind, patience, and helpful. Everyone in our family enjoyed their food! We had johns sandwich, chocolate chip pancakes, avocado toast, and two breakfast sandwiches. Best avocado toast I’ve had in a while. Parking is street parking but there were a good amount of open spots on the side street next to it. We found a spot easily. Good food, service, and prices. Definitely going back soon!

Great food, their eggs Benedict is terrific. My sisters and I totally enjoyed the place! Owners were wonderful: friendly, helpful, and very nice and considerate, not getting upset when I broke a Christmas tree ornament. I'll be going again this fall on my family trip!!

Very warm, family morning breakfast at home feel. The service is beautiful in itself. Love the people, the atmosphere is so comfortable and homie. Very clean, like you went back in time for a break from life's busyness. Must try.

We tried this place for the first time over the weekend with a breakfast catering order. We are so glad we did! The restaurant was extremely accommodating and the food was delicious. When I went to pick the order up, every single staff member from the servers to the kitchen staff greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. We’ll definitely be regulars here- you should be, too!

We ate at Jack's over the weekend for the first time. Let me tell you, we were privileged to dine on a day that the "fresh home-made corned beef hash" was available. The absolute best I've ever had, compares to no other. Their pancakes are better than IHOP. They were fluffy and very flavorful. The all around excellent food, atmosphere, and super attentive & friendly staff will make Jack's our new favorite breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot. I'm a huge foodie, highly recommended.

Such a homey place! Food is prepared to order with lots of love! Oatmeal is so delicious and tasty (actually made with brown sugar and milk) with options like raisins and walnuts.

Jack's Cafe is my go to spot for breakfast and lunch. Hands down best food in town and the owners, Jack and Marianne, along with their staff, are simply wonderful and welcoming! Everything is homemade and fresh. I have also used them to cater my husband's 50th birthday a couple of years ago. You won't be disappointed!

We've been taking out breakfast since the pandemic as a midweek treat. We never went before that. They had a loyal eat in clientele before the pandemic.

Stumbled on Jacks just before closing on valentines day after our first two choices were packed. They were almost empty and were so gracious and the food and service was amazing. Cant wait to go back and sample the rest of all they have to offer. Thanks for making our day wonderful.

Decent food with a great staff. Wanted to give it 5 star but my Eggs Benedict came out without hollandaise sauce. Could have been better.

Jack’s is not a just restaurant. Jack’s is the kind of place that doesn’t actually exist anymore. It’s about family and if you go more then 3 or 4 times, you will be family weather you like it or not. They do their best to make you happy, make you some amazing food, and if my experience is any indication, give you a big laugh while you are there. My son might starve to death without Andre’s blueberry pancakes!

As a relative newcomer to verona, Jack’s Cafe was one of the first places that I ventured into and I really am a huge fan. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming, everything that I’ve tried from salads, to burgers, to eggs Benedict have been fantastic. And don’t forget the home made corned beef hash!! I can’t recommend this establishment enough, especially If you’re looking for that small town feel.

The food quality is GOOD albeit pricey for what they serve. I paid 21 bucks for a wrap, oatmeal and a coffee. Their large coffee size is medium size at best. Oatmeal very well made !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love coming here!!! It is like taking a step back in time especially with the atmosphere!!. It is just like when I was growing up as a kid and the first place that you went to where ALL the activity was and that was the KITCHEN!! Foods AWESOME, coffee is phenominal!!! Everyone is SUPER NICE and they really make you feel like your part of theyre family!!!! You got to check this place out!!!!!!

All I can say is Wow! What a Nice, Cozy, Family owned Casual Restaurant with Probably 1 of the Greatest Omelettes I have Ever Eaten. Really Nice Owners, Nice Atmosphere, Great Service, Food & Pricing. A Hidden Gem right here in Verona. I HIGHLY Recommend it.

Me and husband had to get our car fixed and needed to pass the time. We ended up at Jack’s Cafe and it was a great place. The service was excellent and so was the food. Extremely friendly and warming staff, you are treated like family. Will definitely recommend. Love it!

Been here 4 times. Staff is super friendly. Food is decent. Only prob I had was from my last visit. I had a pick up order. I looked at the menu from online. Looked at the price for a cheeseburger which was under $5. I order that, and onion rings and it came to $12 and change. Was pretty shocked that onion rings could be $7

There are plenty of places to get soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. Only here, you are greeted with a hello....home made soup and a good grilled cheese sandwich. When you leave ....you get a hug. This place is awesome.

Had no clue it existed until some old friends insisted we go. Amazing breakfast very cute clean. So tired of rundown attitude Pilgrim or Verona diner. What a great place extremely friendly staff hilarious and food was fast and awesome. We couldn't believe we where in Verona. We hear the soups are awesome as well. We'll be back for sure!!
